主动静压气体润滑支承可提高其承载力、动刚度和抗扰动能力,成为近期流体润滑学术界的研究热点问题。综述真空预载、电磁预载和压电主动控制的静压气体润滑支承研究现状,分析压电主动控制的静压气体润滑支承的研究进展以及存在的问题,指出主动固有节流器、主动控制节流器或气膜形状可控节流器相结合的主动气体润滑支承,是静压气体润滑支承研究的重点和未来主要发展方向。  相似文献

基于单元气体静压轴承的承载性能,简化多支承气体静压电主轴的支承和主轴结构,建立了有限元分析模型,借助ANSYS软件分析轴系的各种结构方案,并进行承载特性分析对比。研究分析多支承结构的承载机理,总结出提高气体静压电主轴承载特性的措施。分析了不同主轴结构和轴承布置对电主轴承载特性的影响,优选出了的多支承静压轴承电主轴结构。  相似文献

A series of tests was performed to determine the internal temperature profile in a compliant bump-type foil journal air bearing operating at room temperature under various speed and load conditions. The temperature profile was collected by instrumenting a foil bearing with nine type-K thermocouples arranged in the center and along the bearing's edges in order to measure local temperatures and estimate thermal gradients in the axial and circumferential directions. To facilitate the measurement of maximum temperatures from viscous shearing in the air film, the thermocouples were tack-welded to the backside of the bumps that were in direct contact with the top foil. The mating journal was coated with a high-temperature solid lubricant that, together with the bearing, underwent high-temperature start-stop cycles to produce a smooth, steady-state run-in surface. Tests were conducted at speeds from 20 to 50 krpm and loads ranged from 9 to 222 N.

The results indicate that, over the conditions tested, both journal rotational speed and radial load are responsible for heat generation with speed playing a more significant role in the magnitude of the temperatures. The temperature distribution was nearly symmetric about the bearing center at 20 and 30 krpm but became slightly skewed toward one side at 40 and 50 krpm. Surprisingly, the maximum temperatures did not occur at the bearing edge, where the minimum film thickness is expected, but rather in the middle of the bearing, where analytical investigations have predicted the air film to be much thicker. Thermal gradients were common during testing and were strongest in the axial direction from the middle of the bearing to its edges, reaching 3.78° C/mm. The temperature profile indicated the circumferential thermal gradients were negligible.  相似文献

This article describes a theoretical analysis of a hydrostatic journal bearing for a crankshaft pin turner by considering the waviness error of the journal and bearing. The authors found adequate design parameters to operate the crankshaft pin turner bearing. The flow rate, radial clearance, and eccentricity were selected as the basic design parameters. The load-carrying capacity of the bearing as a function of the design parameters was studied in the case of a true circular journal and bearing. The influence of the waviness error on the load-carrying capacity was then investigated; cosine functions were selected for the waviness functions. As a result, the load-carrying capacity varied according to the amplitude and phase angle of the waviness functions. Thus, it was found that the influence of the waviness error is a significant factor in analyzing lubrication characteristics.

Run-out accuracy analysis method according to the waviness phase angles of the journal and bearing was suggested. It was found that the phase angles between the bearing load wave and load-carrying capacity wave are important factors that affect the running accuracy in addition to the amplitude of waviness error.  相似文献

This article discusses the possibility of using air-bearing spindle motors to replace hydrodynamic-bearing spindle motors used in hard disk drives through comparing the advantages and disadvantages of air-bearing spindle motors with those of hydrodynamic-bearing spindle motors. Then the dynamic characteristics of the air-bearing system are analyzed and optimum parameters are proposed. The prototypes based on the obtained parameters are fabricated and tested. The test result is presented and compared with the numerical prediction; good agreement is observed.  相似文献

The present theoretical analysis is to investigate the effect of non-Newtonian pseudoplastic lubricant (lubricant blended with viscosity index improver and viscosity thickener)–Rabinowitsch fluid model on the performance of externally pressurized hydrostatic thrust bearing. The expression for pressure has been derived using an energy integral approach. The load capacity and frictional torque of the bearing have also been numerically calculated for various values of viscosity index improver along with the centrifugal effects. The results so obtained are compared and found to be in good agreement with the earlier theoretical and practical results of Dowson, and the effect of viscosity index improver is also analyzed.  相似文献

In this paper, a new type of floating ring gas bearing in which a “floating ring” is combined with an “orifice-annular and shallow-pocket” gas bearing is introduced. The stability of this new type of floating ring gas journal bearing is theoretically analyzed by use of the modified 8-stiffness and damping coefficients method. The variation of the dimensionless critical mass of the rotor with a clearance ratio C2/C1, mass ratio m2/m1, given ring speed ratio ω21, supply pressure Ps, eccentricity ratio of inner film ε1 and width ratio of the shallow-pocket (l/L)u is presented. The variations of the dimensionless load capacity of this type of gas bearing with the above-mentioned parameters are also given.  相似文献
