贫困山区农村健康教育存在问题及对策探讨

目的:为了有效的在贫困山区开展健康教育,提高农村居民的预防保健意识和防病能力.方法 对陕西省略阳县21个乡镇卫生院、21个村卫生室健康教育开展情况及对2100名农村人口健康知识知晓率和健康行为形成率进行调查.结果:① 农村县乡村三级健康教育网络已经形成,但大部分形同虚设.②已经开展健康教育的乡镇卫生院为100%,按照国家基本公共卫生服务规范开展的几乎没有;已开展健康教育的村卫生室占全部村卫生室的28.6%,按规范开展的为零.③农村居民健康知识知晓率和健康行为形成率分别为51.1%和54%.结论:①山区农村健康教育工作开展情况较差,农村居民健康知识知晓率和健康行为形成率均较低;②山区农村健康教育工作流于形式,亟待规范和加强.

"Many of the more recent findings in sensory psychology and physiology derive from the application of electrophysiology to the study of sensory processes." Experiments involving the taste sense and utilizing the recording and amplifying of nerve impulse traffic in sensory fibers "en route" to the brain are reviewed, and their general implications for the theory of afferent coding are discussed. An important principle of sensory coding is that "the same afferent fiber may convey different information depending upon the amount of activity in another parallel fiber." The relative rather than the absolute amount of activity in any one set of afferent fibers may determine the quality of sensation. "It is not only the activity in parallel fibers that is important, it is the relative amount of such parallel activity. 应用统计技术提高QC小组活动质量

全面质量管理是根据实际情况,广泛、灵活地运用多种多样的科学方法来分析和解决质量问题的一种全员、全过程的管理。而QC小组活动则是全面质量管理的一种组织性的、有代表性的管理方法、是实施全面质量管理的有效手段、是全面质量管理的群众基础和活力源泉。但是目前钢铁企业的QC小组活动很少应用统计技术,即使采用某些统计方法也存在正确选择和应用的问题。本文主要阐叙应用统计技术提高QC小组活动质量的问题。     

Predicting odorant quality perceptions from multidimensional scaling of olfactory bulb glomerular activity patterns.

Odorants and their perceptions differ along multiple dimensions, requiring that a critical examination of any putative neural code directly assess the multidimensional nature of the encoding process. Previous work has examined simple, systematic odorant differences that, regardless of coding strategy, would be expected to produce simple, systematic predictions in neural and behavioral responses. In the present study, an odorant identification confusion matrix task that extracts precise quality relationships across odorants was used to determine whether spatially specific glomerular activity patterns predict perceptual quality relationships for odorants that cannot easily be classified a priori along a single chemical dimension. Multidimensional scaling (MDS) analysis of odorant pattern similarity measures derived from the comparison of [14C]-2-deoxyglucose glomerular activity pattern data yielded a two-dimensional odorant activity space that was highly significantly predictive of similarly obtained odorant perceptual spaces, uniformly across animals. Physical activity and quality of life in multiple sclerosis: Possible roles of social support, self-efficacy, and functional limitations.

Objective: Quality of life (QOL) is compromised among individuals with multiple sclerosis (MS). Physical activity has been positively associated with QOL, but little is known about the factors that explain and/or confound the relationship in those with MS. On the basis of a social-cognitive perspective and previous research, the authors tested the hypothesis that physical activity would be indirectly associated with QOL through a mediated pathway that included self-efficacy and functional limitations, after controlling for perceived social support. Participants: Participants were 196 individuals with a definite diagnosis of MS living in the Midwest region of the United States who completed a battery of questionnaires and wore a pedometer and accelerometer for a 7-day period. Results: Covariance modeling analyses indicated that physical activity was indirectly associated with QOL through a pathway that included self-efficacy and functional limitations, and the pattern of relationships was independent of the perception of social support. Conclusions: The findings support physical activity as a possible modifiable behavior for mitigating reductions of QOL in those with MS and suggest that a social-cognitive model aids in the understanding of physical activity's relationships with QOL.
