在并联多相DC/DC变换器中,各模块承受的电流应自动平衡。DC/DC变换器的并联均流是需要解决的关键问题。文中采用基于主从控制的并联Buck变换器为研究对象,通过仿真验证了均流控制技术能使电路具有良好的动态响应。考虑到实际应用中电路开关管会因长期工作在温度较高的情况下而降低使用寿命,采用加入温度控制的均流控制技术,从而达到了温度控制的效果。  相似文献

Today's on-board high-density, low-output-voltage, high-output-current, fast transient point-of-load (POL) dc-dc converters design requirements for the new generation of integrated circuits, digital signal processors, and microprocessors are increasingly becoming stricter than ever. This is due to the demand for high dynamic performance dc-dc conversion with tight dynamic tolerances for supply voltages coupled with very high power density. In this paper, a multiphase voltage-mode hysteretic controlled POL dc-dc converter with new current sharing is presented. Theoretical analysis is provided for multiphase and interleaved dc-dc converters with new current sharing method. The simulation and experimental results are compared based on a specific design example.  相似文献

分析了多相DC-DC变换器的均流环路小信号动态特性以及极限环振荡条件,提出一种基于平均电流的数字均流技术,并据此实现了一种多相DC-DC数字控制器。采用基于同步设计的均流控制电路和数字脉宽调制器实现电流均衡和相位交错。该多相DC-DC数字控制器芯片基于0.18μm CMOS工艺设计。仿真结果表明,在10~20 A阶跃负载电流下,输出过冲/下冲电压在20 mV以内,开关频率在0.5 MHz~2 MHz范围内可调整,均流误差从20.8%减小到5%以下。  相似文献

A new technique useful for the parallel connection of commutation cells is introduced in this paper. It consists of using small inductances in order to ensure dynamic and static sharing of the commutated current among the different switches. The operating principle, theoretical analysis and design procedure are presented. Experimental results, obtained from a 400-W buck power converter prototype using two commutation cells, have been used to validate the theoretical analysis and demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed technique. Several experiments have been also accomplished to clear up the advantages of this new technique in comparison to the conventional one. Results from a three-cell buck DC-DC power converter delivering 4.5 kW are also presented, revealing a balanced current sharing among cells and an excellent dynamic behavior, as foreseen in the theoretical analysis  相似文献

Current sharing control in multiphase converters is essential for stable and safe operation under variable conditions or applications. It is usually used to maintain equal or desired current sharing between converter phases. In conventional current sharing schemes, this requires the sensing and processing of each phase current through a current sharing/balancing controller, which adds complexity, size and cost to the converter design. In most cases, conventional schemes are usually based on achieving a preset current sharing ratio between phases (usually equal current value among different phases), assuming that the design of phases is known (or symmetric in the case of equal sharing ratio), which may not result in achieving the optimum efficiency. Moreover, the accuracy of achieving the preset current sharing ratio is sensitive to the current sensing accuracy in all phases, which requires careful and tedious calibration of sensing circuitries. Furthermore, when digital controller is used, in order to achieve equal current sharing or desired current distribution among different phases, more analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) are required to obtain digital information on equivalent phases' currents. In this paper, theoretical analysis results are presented to derive or prove a sensorless current sharing method. The analysis is further expanded to reveal the boundary conditions that result in not achieving the desired current sharing ratio. For example, it provides the conditions under which certain phases may carry negative current, resulting in overloading the other phases. The presented method is described and verified with experimental results from a proof of concept prototype based on digital controller implementation.   相似文献

This paper presents the current sharing and robust voltage regulation controls for paralleled digital signal processor-based soft switching-mode rectifiers (SSMRs). First, the design and implementation of single-module SSMRs are made. In dealing with the current control loop design of each SSMR module, the small-signal model is derived and used to design the current-controlled pulse-width modulation (PWM) scheme. As to the common voltage control loop, its dynamic model is estimated from measurements. Then, a quantitative design procedure is developed to find the parameters of the voltage controller according to the prescribed control specifications. As the changes of parallel number and operating condition occur, the robust control is added to reduce the voltage regulation control performance degradation. The proposed multimodule operation control scheme consists of a master controller and N slave controllers. The former further consists of a common voltage controller and a current distribution unit, and the latter are the current-controlled PWM schemes of all SSMRs. Each slave controller receives the weighted sinusoidal current command from the master controller and regulates the feedback current of SSMR. The results confirm that the designed parallel SSMR system possesses good line drawn current power quality, module current sharing and voltage regulation control performances.  相似文献
