The ion beam-enhanced adhesion of thin Au films on vitreous silica sus studied for a wide range of Cl ion beam doses for beam energies between 6.5 MeV and 21.0 MeV. Since the residual adhesion of Au on SiO2 is low, the improved adhesion can be easily seen using the Scotch Tape Test. The threshold in the enhanced adhesion corresponding to passing the tape test occurs at two different dose ranges for a given energy; one at very low dose centered around 1 × 1013 /cm2, the other at higher doses with a threshold of around 1.5 × 1014 /cm2 (depending upon the beam energy). At low doses (2 × 1012 to 5 × 1013 /cm2) surface cracks occur on the SiO2 substrates, these cracks close up at doses higher than 5 × 1013 /cm2. A possible explanation of enhanced adhesion in the low dose range is associated with the surface crazing of the SiO2 substrate. To make the adhesion test more quantitative, a scratch test was also used on the samples.  相似文献

The paper presents two types of a passive safety containment for a near future BWR. They are named Mark S and Mark X containment. One of their common merits is very low peak pressure at severe accidents without venting the containment atmosphere to the environment. The PCV pressure can be moderated within the design pressure. Another merit is the capability to submerge the PCV and the RPV above the core level. The third merit is robustness against external events such as a large commercial airplane crash. Both the containments have a passive cooling core catcher that has radial cooling channels. The Mark S containment is made of reinforced concrete and applicable to a large power BWR up to 1830 MWe. The Mark X containment has the steel secondary containment and can be cooled by natural circulation of outside air. It can accommodate a medium power BWR up to 1380 MWe. In both cases the plants have active and passive safety systems constituting in-depth hybrid safety (IDHS). The IDHS provides not only hardware diversity between active and passive safety systems but also more importantly diversity of the ultimate heat sinks between the atmosphere and the sea water. Although the plant concept discussed in the paper uses well-established technology, plant performance including economy is innovatively and evolutionally improved. Nothing is new in the hardware but everything is new in the performance.  相似文献

Tungsten powder was plasma-sprayed onto a graphite substrate in order to examine the microstructures, porosities, and thermal conductivities of tungsten deposits. Tungsten was partially oxidized to tungsten oxide (WO3) after plasma spraying. Most pores were found in the vicinity of lamellar layers in association with oxidation. It was revealed that both tungsten oxide and the lamellar structure with pores have a significant influence on the electrical and thermal conductivity.  相似文献

居隆庵铀矿床位于相山铀矿田西部,为我国大型火山岩型铀矿床之一。通过分析大量钻孔测温和水文地质资料,得出地温场与温热水的分布、断裂构造、深大断裂、富大铀矿及铀矿化在空间分布上具—致性。温热水的活动场、水热围岩蚀变和化学成分特征是铀矿找矿的标志。  相似文献

External-beam PIXE was used to determine the major, minor and trace elements of 45 nephrite minerals from 14 different deposits, including China and other countries. Depending on the R value (mole percent of Mg2+/(Mg2+ + Fe2+(3+))) and content of Cr, Co and Ni, two types of nephrite minerals from dolomite and serpentinized ultramafic deposits can be more accurately distinguished. Besides, the nephrite minerals from Xiaomeiling and Wenchuan deposit can be distinguished with others from dolomite deposits, through the content of Sr and Mn/Fe value, respectively. Moreover, depending on the Sr content, clear evidence was given to prove that the raw materials of ancient nephrite artifacts from Liangzhu culture ruins are not from Xiaomeiling nephrite deposit. Furthermore, PIXE as a non-destructive method will be more used to study ancient nephrite artifacts, so these results can provide scientific basis for seeking the provenance of nephrite raw materials.  相似文献
