The effect of Co doping on ceria-zirconia mixed oxides was investigated for Co 0.1 Ce 0.6 Zr 0.3 O x sample prepared by sol-gel method. The Pd-only three-way catalyst (TWC) was obtained by incipient wetness impregnation with 0.5 wt.% Pd loading. The structural and oxygen handling properties were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), H 2 -temperature programmed reduction (H 2 -TPR) and the dynamic oxygen storage capacity (DOSC). The introduction of Co into ceria-zirconia lattice strongly modified the mobility of oxygen and enhanced the DOSC performance. Pd-only TWC based on the Co 0.1 Ce 0.6 Zr 0.3 O x support exhibited superior activity for water-gas shift and steam reforming and amplified amplitude of stoichiometric window.  相似文献

The relationship between 3 witness factors and identification accuracy, as well as calibration and diagnosticity of confidence, was investigated. A total of 384 participants in an eyewitness experiment rated their facial recognition skill, general memory skill, and self-reported encoding strategy on a questionnaire presented after the photo-confrontation. Participants who rated themselves to be good face recognizers showed a slightly higher overall accuracy with a more diagnostic confidence-accuracy relation. Participants who reported that they relied on a holistic encoding strategy were associated with more accurate identifications and a stronger confidence-accuracy relation than those who reported an analytic encoding strategy. Liquidus in the Al2O3(25 mass pct)-CaO-MgO-SiO2(<20 mass pct) and Al2O3(35 mass pct)-CaO-MgO-SiO2(<20 mass pct) systems were determined experimentally in the high-CaO-containing region at 1873 K (1600 °C). For the Al2O3(35 mass pct)-CaO-MgO-SiO2(<20 mass pct) system, liquidus data were also determined for 1773 K (1500 °C). The equilibrating and quenching technique with subsequent electron probe microanalyzer (EPMA) microanalysis were employed. Based on the data, liquidus lines were constructed for the 25 and 35 mass pct alumina planes at silica contents generally below 20 mass pct. The current results showed a slightly lower solubility of CaO and a higher solubility of MgO at 1873 K (1600 °C) for the 25 mass pct Al2O3 section compared with the existing phase diagram. At 1773 K (1500 °C), the result showed a slightly lower solubility of both CaO and MgO in the 35 mass pct Al2O3 section compared with the existing phase diagram. In addition, the activities of MgO, CaO, and Al2O3 were estimated at 1773 K and 1873 K (1500 °C and 1600 °C) using the phase diagram information.  相似文献

Copper concentrates and fluxes can contain variable levels of SiO2, CaO, and MgO in addition to main components Cu, Fe, and S. Metal recovery, slag tapping, and furnace wall integrity all are dependent on phase equilibria and other properties of the phases and are functions of slag composition and operational temperature. Optimal control of the slag chemistry in the copper smelting, therefore, is essential for high recovery and productivity; this, in turn, requires detailed knowledge of the slag phase equilibria. The present work provides new phase equilibrium experimental data in the FeO-Fe2O3-SiO2-CaO-MgO-Al2O3 system at oxygen partial pressure of 10−8 atm within the range of temperatures and compositions directly relevant to copper smelting. For the range of conditions relevant to the Kennecott Utah Copper (South Magna, UT) smelting furnace, it was confirmed experimentally that increasing concentrations of MgO or CaO resulted in significant decreases of the tridymite liquidus temperature and in changes in the position of the tridymite liquidus in the direction of higher silica concentration; in contrast, the spinel liquidus temperatures increase significantly with the increase of MgO or CaO. Olivine and clinopyroxene precipitates appeared at high MgO concentrations in the liquid slag. The liquidus temperature in the spinel primary phase field was expressed as a linear function of 1/(wt pctFe/wt pctSiO2), wt pctCaO, wt pctMgO, and wt pctAl2O3. The positions of each of the liquidus points (wt pctFe)/(wt pctSiO2) at a fixed temperatures in the tridymite primary phase field were expressed as linear functions of wt pctCaO, wt pctMgO, and wt pctAl2O3.  相似文献

This study examined the role of dopamine (DA) in partner preference (PP) formation in female prairie voles (Microtus ochrogaster). The nonspecific DA antagonist haloperidol blocked mating-induced PP, whereas the nonspecific DA agonist apomorphine induced PP without mating. The D2 antagonist eticlopride, but not the D1 antagonist SCH23390, blocked PP, whereas the D2 agonist quinpirole, but not the D1 agonist SKF38393, induced PP without mating. Injections of eticlopride before or immediately after mating, but not 24 hr after mating, impaired PP, indicating that DA's effects were not due to an interference with mating or sensory recognition. Finally, intracerebroventricular (icv) injections of eticlopride diminished PP. Together, these data suggest that mating-induced PP requires activation of D2 receptors and that social experience may activate dopaminergic pathways, with enduring effects on behavior. The wetting and spreading of molten aluminum on TiB2 substrates between the aluminum melting point and 1033 K (760 °C) was investigated in the presence of different types of fluxes. The wetting and spreading behavior is observed to depend on the flux, its melting point, its chemistry, and its ability to dissolve alumina. When the flux melting point is higher than the melting point of aluminum, the molten aluminum takes on an initial spherical shape as a result of the thin alumina layer on its surface. After the flux is melted, it dissolves the alumina layer on the liquid aluminum surface causing the aluminum to wet and spread on the substrate. When the flux melts before the aluminum, the alumina layer on the solid aluminum surface is dissolved into the flux. In this case, the aluminum surface in contact with the molten flux is alumina layer free. Thus, the aluminum does not take a spherical shape after melting; it rapidly melts, wets, and spreads on the substrate. The use of a flux allows the wetting behavior of aluminum on TiB2 to be observed at lower temperatures than previously reported.  相似文献

Microwave dielectric ceramics of Ba[Zn(1?x)/3Ni x/3Nb2/3]O3 (BZNN, x = 0.0, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8) were sintered at 1773 K (1500 °C) for 3 hours by the conventional solid-state reaction method. To clarify the relationship between dielectric properties and crystal structures, vibration spectra (Raman spectroscopy and Fourier transform far-infrared reflection spectroscopy (FTIR)) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) were employed to study Ba[Zn(1-x)/3Nix/3Nb2/3]O3 solid solutions. Crystal structures were determined as cubic perovskite structures, and no phase transition appears in substitution of Ni2+ to Zn2+ ions. Raman spectroscopy was used to discuss the correlation of dielectric properties with Raman shifts and full-width at half-maximum (FWHM) values, which indicate that dielectric properties are closely related to both FWHM values and A1g(Nb) mode shifts. FTIR spectra and imaginary parts of dielectric constants were calculated to obtain the correlation between polar phonon modes and dielectric properties with Ni2+ concentration.  相似文献
