Tb_(1-x)Tm_xFeO_3(x = 0.00,0.15,0.25) polycrystalline series were synthesized using a solid-state reaction.Our results show that all three prepared samples are in a distorted orthogonal structure and their space group is pbnm.When the Tm~(3+)doping amount increases,the characteristics of the spin-flip of the sample decreases following an initial increase at the beginning;the antiferromagnetic property almost reaches zero;the magnetization decreases at the beginning but increases later on.The maximum magnetic entropy change and magnetic refrigeration effect RCP are reduced at varying degrees.Under a 7 T magnetic field,the maximum magnetic entropy change,△S_(max),for the three samples of Tb_(1-x)Tm_xFeO_3 with x=0.00,0.15,0.25 is 13.78,-9.28,and 10.69 J/(K·kg),respectively;the magnetic refrigeration capacity(RCP) is 316.85,175.2,and 297.60 J/kg,respectively.In summary,doping with the element Tm reduces △S_(max) and RCP of the sample.Since the maximum magnetic entropy change and the cooling capacity for the three samples are relatively large,they can be used as an alternative for magnetic refrigerants. 相似文献

The Fe_(69.5-x)Nd_7 B_(21)Nb_(2.5)Ga_x(x = 0-1)permanent magnets in the form of rods were prepared by annealing the bulk amorphous alloys.The magnetic properties,phase evolution and microstructure of the alloys were investigated systematically.It is found that the glass forming ability(GFA), microstructure and magnetic properties are sensitive to Ga content for Fe_(69.5-x)Nd_7 B_(21)Nb_(2.5)Ga_x(x = 0-1)bulk alloys.The annealed alloys are mainly composed of soft α-Fe,hard Nd_2 Fe_(14)B and nonmagnetic Nd_(1.1)Fe_4 B_4 phases.When x = 0.3,the optimally annealed magnets exhibit magnetic properties of the remanence Br = 0.63 T,intrinsic coercivity H_(cj) = 368.68 kA/m and maximum energy product(BH)_(max) = 33.73 kJ/m~3.Furthermore,magnetic field heat treatment at the temperature close to Curie temperature of Nd_2 Fe_(14)B phase was applied to the annealed Fe_(69.2)Nd_7 B_(21)Nb_(2.5)Ga_(0.3) magnet.The results of X-ray diffraction(XRD)and transmission electron microscopy(TEM)indicate that the magnetic field heat treatment can be beneficial for the precipitation of α-Fe.Thus,the B_r,H_(cj) and(BH)_(max) are enhanced by 8.7%,6.3% and 16.3%,respectively. 相似文献

Highly ordered Tb_xFe_7 Co_3(x=0,0.6,0.8) nanowires were synthesized in alumina templates by electrochemical deposition method.Here,the effects of Tb content and annealing treatment on the phase composition,morphology,crystalline structure and magnetic properties were investigated.The asdeposited Tb_0 Fe_7 Co_3 nanowires comprise Fe_7 Co_3 phase.While after adding Tb,the diffraction peaks slightly shift left,indicating the infiltration of Tb atoms into Fe_7 Co_3 phase.After annealing,Tb_0 Fe_7 Co_3 nanowires still consist of Fe_7 Co_3 phase with a slight enhancement on coercivity.While the annealed nanowires with Tb doped present a complex phase composition containing Fe3 Tb,Fe_2 Tb,Co_3 Tb,Co_(17)Tb_2,TbFeO_3 and Fe_2 O_3 phases distribute in the central portion,and Co_(0.72)Fe_(0.28) at the nanowire outer walls.The annealed Tb_xFe_7 Co_3(x=0.6,0.8) nanowires show higher magnetic performance owing to the formation of hard magnetic phases,the interfacial elastic coupling between hard and soft phases and the coherent Fe3 Tb/Co_3 Tb interface which restrain the domain wall motion.To be specific,the coercivity and remanence ratio of TbxFe_7 Co_3(x=0.6,0.8) nanowires significantly enhance with increasing Tb content. 相似文献

A low cost Gd_(34)Ni_(33)Al_(33) metallic glass with excellent magnetocaloric properties was successfully prepared in the present work.The magnetic properties of the ribbons were measured by constructing the relationship of magnetic entropy change(-ΔS_m) on temperature as well as magnetic field.The amorphous alloy shows typical magnetocaloric behaviors,large maximum-ΔS_m(11.06 J/(kg·K) under 5 T)and adiabatic temperature rise(4.3 K under 5 T) near 40 K,indicating that the low cost Gd_(34)Ni_(33)Al_(33)metallic glass is a good candidate material for low temperature magnetic refrigeration. 相似文献

Semiconducting sensors offer an inexpensive and simple method for monitoring gases. Sensors based on the ABO3-type composite oxides materials have an advantage of high stability. The perovskite structures of these compounds are preserved, when an A-site deficiency of some perovskite structure compounds was formed. However, they exhibit particular physical properties. In this paper, La0.9 0.1FeO3 powder with an orthorhombic perovskite phase was prepared by sol-gel method. The electrical properties and CO-sensing characteristics of the La0.9 0.1FeO3 were also investigated. The results demonstrated that the La0.9 0.1FeO3 was a p-type semiconductor material. Compared with LaFeO3, the conductance of La0.9 0.1FeO3 was better than that of LaFeO3. The sensor based on La0.9 0.1FeO3 showed excellent CO gas-sensing characteristics. 相似文献

Magnetocaloric effect and magnetic properties of La0.9Ce0.1(Fe0.99Mn0.01)11.6Si1.4 and its hydride La0.9Ce0.1(Fe0.99Mn0.01)11.6Si1.4H1.6 were investigated. The Curie temperature of La0.9Ce0.1(Fe0.99Mn0.01)11.6Si1.4 was increased by hydrogen absorption. XRD patterns showed that the structure of La0.9Ce0.1(Fe0.99Mn0.01)11.6Si1.4H1.6 remained NaZn13-type. The Curie temperature (TC) of the sample was increased from 174 K to 331 K. The homogeneity of the hydrogen absorption for La0.9Ce0.1(Fe0.99Mn0.01)11.6Si1.4H1.6 was proven very well by the random measurement of DSC. The magnetic entropy △SM of La0.9Ce0.1(Fe0.99Mn0.01)11.6Si1.4H1.6 had peak at 326 K. The peak value of-△SM-was 12.3 and 7.8 J/(kg.K) under magnetic field change of 0-2 T and 0-1 T,respectively,which was comparable with Gd5Si2Ge2. The negative slope and inflection point of the Arrott curve indicated that the first-order magnetic transition of La0.9Ce0.1(Fe0.99Mn0.01)11.6Si1.4 was reserved after hydrogen absorption. 相似文献

In this comparative study,Tb and Tm substituted Sr-hexafe rrites(HFs) with the chemical compositions of SrTb_xFe_(12-x)O_(19) and SrTm_xFe_(12-x)O_(19)(x=0.00,0.02 and 0.04) were fabricated via citrate sol-gel approach.The AC susceptibility and FC-ZFC magnetization were investigated.The product structure and morphologies were also investigated via XRD,TEM and SEM along with EDX.Measurements of temperature dependence of magnetization M-T and AC magnetic susceptibility versus temperature were carried out.The various synthesized HFs displayed ferrimagnetic behavior within 10-325 K.At lower temperatures,super-spin glass-like behavior was noticed.Neel-Arrhenius and Vogel-Fulcher models were employed to explore the experimental data of AC susceptibility. 相似文献

Effect of Mn substitution for Fe in cubic Laves Zr_(0.1)Tb_(0.9)(Fe_(1-x)Mn_x)_2 and Y_(0.1)Tb_(0.9)(Fe_(1-x)Mn_x)_2 com-pounds is presented.Similar results in both systems are obtained: The structure and the magnetism of TbFe_2 areboth influenced slightly by a small amount of Y or Zr substitution for Tb;With increasing x value,the latticeconstant increases monotonously;the Curie temperature decreases linearly;while saturation magnetizationincreases linearly.For the small amount of Mn substitution for Fe in both systems,magnetostriction issignificantly larger than that in the pure iron alloys.The largest magnetostriction of|γ_‖-|γ_|=2200×10~(-6)at magnetic field of 2×10~7/4π A/mis obtained for Y_(0.1)Tb_(0.9)(Fe_(0.95)Mn_(0.05)_2. 相似文献

Perovskite oxides LaCoO_3 prepared by templating, co-precipitation and sol-gel method with different complexants were systematically characterized and its catalytic performances for CO oxidation were investigated. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetry analysis and differential scanning calorimetry, N_2 physisorption, transmission electron microscopy, temperature program reduction of hydrogen, temperature program desorption of oxygen and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy measurement, results of which show that the properties of LaCoO_3, such as surface morphology, surface area, surface compositions, redox capability, oxygen vacancy, as well as the calcination temperature and formation mechanism, depend intimately on the preparation method. Catalytic tests indicate that the sample prepared by carbon templating method shows the best activity for CO oxidation, with full CO conversion obtained at 135 ℃. In particular, the catalyst can be activated and significant increase of activity can be obtained with the increase of reaction time. This study reports the stabilization of the RFe_(12)-type based compounds where part of R and Fe are substituted with Zr and Co and Si, respectively, in order to examine whether these rare-earth-lean materials are suitable for applications as permanent magnets. Structural and magnetic characterization of the family of alloys with the general formula Nd_(0.4) Zr_(0.6) Fe_(10-x)Co_xS_i2(x = 0 -3) and their melt-spun ribbons were carried out using X-ray diffraction and M€ossbauer spectroscopy. The ThMn_(12)-type structure is obtained for all samples as the majority phase with a minority a-Fe(CoSi) phase(less than 5 wt%) as it was estimated by XRD for x = 1 and 2. The Curie temperature increases linearly with Co substitution from 561 K for x = 0 to 712 K for x = 3. The saturation magnetization decreases slightly from 130.5(x =1)to 129.1 A·m~2/kg(x=3), while the anisotropy field is following the same trend. 相似文献

The oxalate co-precipitation method was used to synthesize the La3+ substituted Ni–Cu–Zn (La–NCZ) nanoferrites having chemical composition Ni0.7Cu0.1Zn0.2LaxFe2–xO4 (x = 0, 0.015, 0.025 and 0.035). DC resistivity study of nanoferrites shows both the conducting and semiconducting behaviour. The room temperature DC electrical resistivity of Ni–Cu–Zn (NCZ) nanoferrites decreases, whereas Curie temperature increases with increasing La3+ content. In the temperature range of 30–170 °C nanoferrites show p-type semiconducting behavior except x = 0.015; thereafter, they show n-type behaviour. The frequency dispersive initial permeability (μi) associated with its real and imaginary (μ′ and μ") parts are attributed to the domain wall movement and magnetic spin resonant. The μi, μ′ and μ" of La–NCZ nanoferrites are higher than those of pure NCZ nanoferrite. Dielectric constant (ε′), dielectric loss (ε″) and AC resistivity (ρAC) of La–NCZ nanoferrites show normal dielectric behaviour. It is found that ε′ of NCZ nanoferrites decreases with the increasing content of La3+ ions. The bandgap energy of La–NCZ nanoferrites is achieved in the range 1.36–1.70 eV confirming the semiconducting nature of materials. 相似文献
