A study of 2172 technical professionals finds that the more their supervisors possess technical, but in particular, people and administrative skills, the more their work environment is stimulating. Moreover, the more their work environment is stimulating, the greater their performance and job satisfaction. In addition, the study finds that the more their work environment is stimulating, the less the technical and people skills of their supervisors help their performance and job satisfaction, the less the administrative skills of their supervisors hurt their performance, and the more the administrative skills of their supervisors help their job satisfaction. The implications of the findings for helping R&D supervisors use technical, people, and administrative skills effectively to increase the performance and job satisfaction of their subordinates are discussed.  相似文献

The authors summarize empirical research that studied the perceptions of 91 technologists and managers about rewards systems in eight information technology companies. An analysis of the responses shows that although the companies differ in business and location, technologists and their managers share different sets of perceptions about the same reward systems. Technologists strongly perceive that they must move into management to increase their pay, status, and importance. Managers believe that their pay reflects their current responsibilities and they do not perceive that they are at a dead-end in their jobs. Although they state that technologists need not progress to management positions in their careers, managers agree that technologists must move into management to get higher pay and status. Electrochemically induced volume changes in organic mixed ionic-electronic conductors (OMIECs) are particularly important for their use in dynamic microfiltration systems, biomedical machinery, and electronic devices. Although significant advances have been made to maximize the dimensional changes that can be accomplished by OMIECs, there is currently limited understanding of how changes in their molecular structures impact their underpinning fundamental processes and their performance in electronic devices. Herein, a series of ethylene glycol functionalized conjugated polymers is synthesized, and their electromechanical properties are evaluated through a combined approach of experimental measurements and molecular dynamics simulations. As demonstrated, alterations in the molecular structure of OMIECs impact numerous processes occurring during their electrochemical swelling, with sidechain length shortening decreasing the number of incorporated water molecules, reducing the generated void volumes and promoting the OMIECs to undergo different phase transitions. Ultimately, the impact of these combined molecular processes is assessed in organic electrochemical transistors, revealing that careful balancing of these phenomena is required to maximize device performance.  相似文献

目的探讨歼(强)击机飞行员肾结石的诊断治疗及医学鉴定原则。方法回顾分析1982年-2008年43名患肾结石的歼(强)击机飞行员病史资料、诊治过程及医学鉴定结论。结果23名肾结石飞行员经治疗结石排出,4例确诊为肾钙化,均飞行合格;3人因结石长期治疗无效予以停飞,1人因其他疾病停飞;12例处于治疗、观察期,结论为飞行暂不合格。结论歼(强)击机飞行员(含飞行教员)患肾结石影响飞行安全,应在结石排出后方可恢复飞行远离集合系统的肾钙化灶可放飞,但应定期复查,掌握其变化情况。  相似文献

利用Fock态表象下的Wigner函数表达式,重构了湮没算符k次幂本征态的Wigner函数,并依据Wigner函数在相空间的分布规律,讨论了湮没算符k次幂本征态的非经典特性.数值结果表明:湮没算符k次幂本征态的Wigner函数的分布与复参数α的取值有关;湮没算符1次幂的本征态(即相干态)为准经典态(其Wigner函数值总是非负的),而湮没算符大于或等于2次幂的本征态则都具有明显的非经典特性(它们的Wigner函数均出现了负值).  相似文献
