铝镇静钢连铸普遍存在着中间包浸入式水口堵塞问题.堵塞由未上浮的Al2O3夹杂在铝碳质浸入式水口的入口和出口处沉积而引起,中间包衬、中间包覆盖剂、钢包下渣、水口的设计、耐火材料和保护浇铸等因素对水口堵塞都有严重影响.钢的化学成分(尤其是[O]和[S])和钙处理也是重要影响因素.测定钢中全氧量是确定钢的洁净度和预测水口堵塞的好办法. 相似文献

Shrouding tubes and submerged entry nozzles (SEN) are mainly used on steel transfer between process units of continuous casters. Molten steel flow in the SEN or shrouding tube causes a pressure drop which creates possibilities for air aspiration through refractory material. The objective of this research was to model the pressure distribution in the SEN of a continuous caster using a full scale water model. Effects of casting speed, SEN immersion depth and liquid level of tundish on the pressures at the SEN wall and centre were defined. The experiments proved that SEN immersion depth had the most remarkable effect on the pressure inside the SEN. However experiments did not show a significant effect of casting speed and tundish liquid level on the pressure inside the SEN. This research presents a simplified model for pressure distribution in SEN. The presented model agrees well with measurements at the SEN wall. 相似文献

To reduce thermal loss from molten steel in a tundish during continuous casting production, a new tundish fabricated by welding radiation-proof steel plates onto the steel plates of the exterior walls of a billet caster tundish was proposed.This new tundish was used to investigate the effect of pressures inside the vacuum chamber on the uniformity of the temperature of molten steel and the thermal conditions of the vacuum layer.The results show that the conversion radiation coefficient is not sensitive to pressure and its value at high temperatures is merely 1.5 times greater than that at low temperatures.Pressure is the key factor af-fecting additional factor of conversion convection.This factor is more than 100 times greater at 105 Pa than at 102 Pa, and the temperature at inner points at 102 Pa is, on average, 4 K higher than that at 105 Pa. Meanwhile, the local temperature difference of the inlet at 102 Pa is 1 K higher than that at 105 Pa.Thus, the proposed vacuum billet caster tundish can achieve low superheat teeming of steel because of the ther-mal preservation capability of the vacuum, which helps to reduce the tapping temperature and improve the uniformity of the temperature of steel. 相似文献
