ABSTRACT

There is a growing interest in the use of switched reluctance motor (hereafter referred to as SRM) drive systems for various applications in diverse areas such as defense, home appliances, etc. Hence the design of a low cost controller for the SRM drive with high performance capabilities gains added significance. Microcontrollers (single chip computers) have emerged to fill this need in motion control. They provide both software control and flexibility in the reconfiguration of control algorithms. They also minimize the number of chips thus enhancing the system reliability at a low cost. This paper introduces a microcontroller-based controller for SRM drives with only an EPROM and two ICs for the logic access constituting the peripheral circuits. The entire control scheme including the pulse width modulator is implemented by software. A Siemens 80535 microcontroller chip has been chosen for this study.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

A study of normal flux density, tangential force distribution and force pulsation is made on a segmented secondary linear reluctance motor. Appropriate analysis is included in a form convenient for numerical study. Results are obtained numerically for two different linear reluctance motor geometries corresponding to laboratory models. Some experimental results are compared with numerical results. The numerical results show that the normal flux density and the tangential force distribution vary with linear displacement but in a less severe manner than the same variables in a linear induction motor. The tangential force pulsation is significantly large and the normal force pulsation is less severe.  相似文献

利用凸极同步电机的理论,对次级分段直线磁阻电机进行了分析,推导出直轴和交轴区反应电抗、功率因数以及驱动力等一般表达式。证明了次级中心开浅槽的直线磁阻电机在功率因数、驱动力等方面比一般的直线磁电机都有一定的提高。讨论了该电机应用于中低速磁悬浮列车的可能性。  相似文献

随着高温超导技术在电能领域的逐渐应用,超导磁阻电动机作为一种新型电机引起了广泛关注。该文首先介绍试制的一台小功率超导磁阻电动机样机的基本结构,然后以该样机为例,讨论此类电机的磁场、参数及性能的分析计算方法,同时对该样机与常规磁阻电动机作了比较,结果表明超导磁阻电动机具有更高的效率和功率因数,并具有较好的同步性能。  相似文献

针对经典采用直线磁路和椭圆形磁路分割求取气隙磁导的无轴承开关磁阻电机数学模型的局限性,文中提出了一种基于直线磁路和改进的椭圆形磁路分割求取气隙磁导的新型无轴承开关磁阻电机数学模型,该数学模型不仅保证定、转级对中位置时电磁转矩的连续性,而且同时较为准确地描述了沿α和β方向径向悬浮力之间的耦合关系。不仅如此,基于该数学模型在一定程度上拓宽无轴承开关磁阻电机的有效工作区域,仿真分析验证了该数学模型的优良特性。  相似文献

为了实现开关磁阻电机(SRM)绕组电流或磁链的精确控制,必须提高SRM功率变换器的工作频率以提高系统的动态响应速度.然而,较高的工作频率会引起严重的电磁干扰(EMI)和开关损耗从而导致系统整体效率降低,文中结合谐振开关(RS)、直流谐振环(RDCL)和脉冲宽度调制(PWM)的优点,提出了一种新型的软开关SRM功率变换器,基工作原理为通过在非对称桥式电路的基础上增加一套换流电路,以此实现功率器件的软开关.在对变换器工作原理详细分析的基础上,导出了实现软开关的条件并给出了设计实例.仿真和实验研究证实了新型软开关SRM变换器的可行性.  相似文献

Integral horsepower pulsating field reluctance motors are treated when operating in dc-supplied, fixed voltage, thyristor controlled variable speed systems. A thyristor controller with two operating modes is described. Exciting MMF differential equations are put into normalized forms, simplifying their solutions, which are given. Three parameters Q, p and xrs concisely character= rize motor, MMF differential equations and torque. For typical speed/torque curves thyristor control angles are determined. Optimum pole- and gap dimensions are investigated on the basis of published permeance charts.  相似文献

The analysis of the magnetic circuit of an axial air-gap, battery-excited reluctance motor is presented. Permeance coefficients from which machine inductance can be calculated are derived. Inductance values calculated from these permeance coefficients are compared with values determined by magnetic analogs and by studies of air gap magnetic potential distribution using relaxation techniques and the Finite Element technique.  相似文献

The segmented secondary linear reluctance motor is analyzed using a permeance function approach. The basic assumptions are iron linearity and current excitation. The resulting analytical equations are implemented for numerical computation. 讨论了开关磁阻电动机通过在非通电相加激励脉冲判断转子位置,从而取消转子位置传感器的理论依据,建立了最高激励脉冲频率的数学模型,分析了此方式下激励脉冲频率对系统控制精度的影响,提出了利用曲线拟合算法来预报转子位置,从而更准确地控制各相绕组开通与关断的新方法。详细的仿真分析证实了该方法的可行性,并在1台12/4极三相开关磁阻电动机(SRM)上进行了试验,效果较好,进一步验证了该方法的有效性。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

An axial air-gap variable reluctance motor with a mobile disc between two stationary discs is tested in the 0 to 400 Hz frequency range. The machine is combined in succession with two converters of original design. The results are presented in the flux/ampere-turns plane, with physically illustrates the intrinsic possibilities of this type of motor. Experiments is conducted with two air-gap values (1 mm and 0.6 mm), this helping to estimate accurately the performance gains achieved by reducing the air-gap. Emphasis is placed on the need to saturate the iron in the discs completely.  相似文献
