The tie‐line composition of three quaternary system namely 1‐ethyl‐3‐methylimidazolium acetate ([EMIM][OAc]) ([EMIM][OAc]) (1) + thiophene (2) + pyridine (3) + toluene (4), 1‐ethyl‐3‐methylimidazolium ethylsulphate ([EMIM][EtSO4]) (1) + thiophene (2) + pyridine (3) + toluene (4), 1‐ethyl‐3‐methylimidazolium methylsulphonate ([EMIM][MeSO3]) (1) + thiophene (2) + pyridine (3) + toluene (4) were experimentally determined at 298.15 K. The measured tie‐line data were successfully correlated with the nonrandom two liquid and UNIversal QUAsiChemical model prediction which gave less than 1% root mean square deviation (RMSD). [EMIM][MeSO3] looks to be a promising solvent for the simultaneous separation having distribution ratios less than unity for both thiophene and pyridine. The quantum chemical‐based conductor like screening model for real solvent (COSMO‐RS) model was then used to predict the tie‐line composition of quaternary systems. Density, surface tension and refractive index of the binary mixture of catalytic deactivated compounds with 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium acetate {[EMIM][OAc]} ionic liquid were measured at temperature of 298.15–323.15 K from which the derived thermodynamic properties including excess molar volume and deviation of surface tension and refractive index were calculated. The derived thermodynamic properties could be explained well by the interaction between similar and dissimilar aromatic structure of the molecules over the entire mole fraction of ILs. It was observed that all the catalytic deactivated compounds and water molecules have significant structural interaction with [EMIM][OAc] via CH?π bond interaction, π?π stacking and n?π interaction over the entire mole fraction of IL at T = 298.15 K. Further the composition of ionic liquid have significant influence on the interaction between dissimilar aromatic structure of molecules like pyridine, indoline and quinoline in liquid phase as compared to temperature. The surface tension increases in the order of: hiophene > pyridine > quinoline > pyrrole > indoline > water; while the refractive index increases in the order: pyridine < water < pyrrole < thiophene < indoline < quinoline. The deviation of surface tension was found to be inversely proportional to the deviation of refractive index at T = 298.15 K. From these results it was concluded that the structure of the ionic liquids is very important for extraction processes on catalytic deactivated compounds, especially for pyridine, indoline and quinoline as compared to water molecules.  相似文献

The simultaneous interaction of thiophene and pyridine with different ionic liquids:1‐butyl‐1‐methylpyrrolidinium tetrafluoroborate([BPYRO][BF4]),1‐butyl‐1‐methylpyrrolidinium hexafluoro‐phosphate ([BPYRO][PF6]), 1‐butyl‐4‐methylpyridinium tetrafluoroborate ([BPY][BF4]), 1‐butyl‐4‐methylpyridinium hexafluorophosphate ([BPY][PF6]) and 1‐benzyl‐3‐methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([BeMIM][BF4]) were investigated using quantum chemical calculations. A three‐tier approach comprising of partial charges, interaction energies and sigma profile generation using conductor‐like screening model for real solvents (COSMO‐RS) was chosen to study the systems. A quantitative attempt based on the CH‐π interaction in ionic liquid; thiophene–pyridine complexes gave the interaction energies of ILs in the order: [BPY][BF4] > [BPYRO][PF6] > [BeMIM][BF4] > [BPY][PF6] > [BPYRO][BF4]. An inverse relation was observed between the activity coefficient at infinite dilution predicted via COSMO‐RS–based model and interaction energies. Continuous gas drying experiments with the hygroscopic ionic liquid [EMIM][MeSO3] show that it can be a very promising alternative drying agent to the absorbent triethylene glycol (TEG) commonly used in industrial gas drying processes. The HTU/NTU model in combination with the correlations of Onda et al. for mass transfer coefficients can be applied for the design of an absorption process with [EMIM][MeSO3]. The major advantage of this ionic liquid (IL) is that well‐known problems associated with the regeneration of the absorbent TEG can be avoided using [EMIM][MeSO3] due to extremely low vapor pressure and possible regeneration with air. The drying capacity of the IL system is about two times higher compared to TEG. Hence, a simple plant design comparable to that of industrial adsorption plants might be applied.  相似文献

Collagen, a prominent biopolymer, which is famous for its excellent biological activity, has been used extensively for tissue engineering applications. In this study, a novel solvent system for collagen was developed with an ionic liquid, 1‐ethyl‐3‐methylimidazolium acetate ([EMIM][Ac]), solvent system. A series of sodium salts were introduced into this solvent system to enhance collagen's dissolution procedure. The results show that the solubility of collagen was significantly influenced by the temperature and sodium salts. The solubility reached up to approximately 11% in the [EMIM][Ac]/Na2HPO4 system at 45°C. However, the structure of the regenerated collagen (Col‐regenerated) may have been damaged. Hence, we focused on the structural integrity of the collagen regenerated from the [EMIM][Ac] solvent system by the methods of sodium dodecyl sulfate–polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, ultrasensitive differential scanning calorimetry, atomic force microscopy, X‐ray diffraction, and circular dichroism because its signature biological and physicochemical properties were based on its structural integrity. Meanwhile, a possible dissolution mechanism was proposed. The results show that the triple‐helical structure of collagen regenerated from the [EMIM][Ac] solvent system below 35°C was retained to a large extent. The biocompatibility of Col‐regenerated was first characterized with a fibroblast adhesion and proliferation model. It showed that the Col‐regenerated had almost the same good biological activity as nature collagen, and this indicated the potential application of [EMIM][Ac] in tissue engineering. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In the presence of a Cinchona alkaloid‐based squaramide organocatalyst, the [3+2] cycloaddition of isatin‐derived azomethine ylides with maleimides proceeded readily, thus delivering the desired pyrrolidine‐fused spirooxindoles in 61–89% yields with >20:1 dr and 12 to >99 % ee. The absolute configuration of 5‐chloro‐1,5′‐dimethyl‐3′‐phenyl‐3′,3a′‐dihydro‐2′H‐spiro[indoline‐3,1′‐pyrrolo[3,4‐c]pyrrole]‐2,4′,6′(5′H,6a′H)‐trione was unambiguously determined by means of X‐ray single crystal structure analysis. The reaction mechanism was hypothesized to account for the enantioselective formation of 5‐chloro‐1,5′‐dimethyl‐3′‐phenyl‐3′,3a′‐dihydro‐2′H‐spiro[indoline‐3,1′‐pyrrolo[3,4‐c]pyrrole]‐2,4′,6′(5′H,6a′H)‐trione.

1‐(3‐Coumaryl)‐pyridinium salts 3 and 1‐(3‐coumaryl)‐tetrahydrothiophenium salts 5 were synthesized from 2‐acylphenyl chloro‐ or bromoacetates 2 . 2‐Chloro‐N1‐(3,4‐dimethoxyphenyl)‐acetamide and substituted 2‐chloro‐N1‐(2‐thienyl)‐acetamides 8 react with acetyl chloride and pyridine to yield the quinolinyl‐ and (thieno[2,3‐b]pyridin‐5‐yl)‐pyridinium salts 10 . Fused thieno[2,3‐b]pyridin‐ones 19 were formed from N‐chloroacetyl‐2‐aminothiophen‐3‐carbonitriles 16 with pyridine via Thorpe‐Ziegler cyclization and followed by cyclodehydrogenation. In presence of pyridine alkyl 2‐chloro‐acetylaminobenzoates 21 yield 3‐(1‐pyridinio)‐quinoline‐4‐olates 23 . Zincke‐cleavage of 10 and 23 with hydrazinium hydroxide leads to fused 3‐amino‐pyridine‐2‐ones 11 and 3‐amino‐4‐hydroxy‐quinoline‐2‐ones 24 , respectively. The excess molar volumes (VE) and the deviations in molar refraction (ΔR) at 298.15 K were determined for the binary systems {diisopropyl ether (DIPE) + 1‐propanol}, {Tert‐amyl methyl ether (TAME) + methanol}, {DIPE + trihexyltetradecylphosphonium bis(2,4,4‐trimethylpentyl)phosphinate ([P666,14][TMPP])}, {TAME + [P666,14][TMPP]}, {methanol + [P666,14][TMPP]} and {1‐propanol + [P666,14][TMPP]} using a digital vibrating‐tube densimeter and a precision digital refractometer. The VE and ΔR were correlated with the Redlich–Kister equation for binary systems. In addition, the ternary VE and ΔR data at 298.15 K were predicted for the ternary systems {DIPE + 1‐propanol + [P666,14][TMPP]} and {TAME + methanol + [P666,14][TMPP]} by using the binary contribution model of Radojkovi? with correlated sub‐binary Redlich–Kister parameters. © 2011 Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Enzymes may exhibit enhanced activity, stability and selectivity in ionic liquids, depending on the properties of the liquid. The physical–chemical properties of ionic liquids, however, may be modified by altering the anion or cation in the ionic liquid. This feature is a key factor for realizing successful reactions. In this work, a new ionic liquid, 1‐isobutyl‐3‐methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate (abbreviated as [i‐C4mim][PF6]), was synthesized and investigated as a novel medium for the transesterification reaction of 2‐phenylethanol with vinyl acetate catalyzed by pseudomonas capaci lipase. As contrasts, the reaction was also carried out in two reference solvents; the isomeric ionic liquid [i‐C4mim][PF6], 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate (abbreviated as [C4mim][PF6]), and hexanes. RESULTS: As reaction medium, [i‐C4mim][PF6] was best among the three solvents. The initial reaction rate, the equilibrium conversion of 2‐phenylethanol and the half‐lifetime of the lipase in [i‐C4mim][PF6] medium were about 1.5, 1.2 and 3‐fold that obtained in [C4mim][PF6] medium, respectively. The lipase in [i‐C4mim][PF6] medium was recycled 10 times without substantial diminution in activity. CONCLUSION: The ionic liquid [i‐C4mim][PF6] has good biocompatibility, and can be used widely as green media in various biocatalysis reactions to improve the activity and stability of enzymes. Besides hydrophobicity and nucleophilicity, the spatial configuration of ionic liquids is also considered a key factor effecting the behaviour of the enzyme in ionic liquids. A direct diastereoselective synthesis approach of important 9H‐pyrrolo[1,2‐a]azepin‐9‐amines was established via base‐promoted [4+3] annulation between donor–acceptor reagents derived from 1H‐pyrrole‐2‐carbaldehydes and alkyl 2‐aroyl‐1‐chlorocyclopropanecarboxylates. This transition metal‐free domino reaction proceeded quickly under mild basic conditions, affording potentially bioactive azepine derivatives in moderate to high yields with high diastereoselectivities (up to >20:1).

Series of 1‐allyl‐3‐methylimidazolium halometallate ionic liquids (ILs) were synthesized and used to degrade poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) as catalysts in the solvent of ethylene glycol. One important feature of these new IL catalysts is that most of them, especially [amim][CoCl3] and [amim][ZnCl3], exhibit higher catalytic activity under mild reaction condition, compared to the traditional catalysts [e.g., Zn(Ac)2], the conventional IL catalysts (e.g., [bmim]Cl), Fe‐containing magnetic IL catalysts (e.g., [bmim][FeCl4]), and metallic acetate IL catalysts (e.g., [Deim][Zn(OAc)3]). For example, using [amim][ZnCl3] as catalyst, the conversion of PET and the selectivity of bis(hydroxyethyl) terephthalate (BHET) reach up to 100% and 80.1%, respectively, under atmospheric pressure at 175°C for only 1.25 h. Another important feature is that BHET can be easily separated from the catalyst and has a high purity. Finally, based on the experimental phenomena, in ‐situ infrared spectra, and experimental results, the possible mechanism of degradation with synthesized IL is proposed. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Copolymerization of ethylene with 1‐octadecene was studied using [η51‐C5Me4‐4‐R1‐6‐R‐C6H2O]TiCl2 [R1 = tBu (1), H (2, 3, 4); R = tBu (1, 2), Me (3), Ph (4)] as catalysts in the presence of Al(i‐Bu)3 and [Ph3C][B(C6F5)4]. The effect of the concentration of comonomer in the feed and Al/Ti molar ratio on the catalytic activity and molecular weight of the resultant copolymer were investigated. The substituents on the phenyl ring of the ligand affect considerably both the catalytic activity and comonomer incorporation. The 1 /Al(i‐Bu)3/[Ph3C][B(C6F5)4] catalyst system exhibits the highest catalytic activity and produces copolymers with the highest molecular weight, while the 2 /Al(i‐Bu)3/[Ph3C][B(C6F5)4] catalyst system gives copolymers with the highest comonomer incorporation under similar conditions. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A practical and efficient synthesis of triazolothiadiazepine‐1,1‐dioxide derivatives via copper‐catalyzed [3+2] cycloaddition, followed by N‐arylation is described. The 2‐Ns‐based aminohalogenation of α,β‐unsaturated ketones has been achieved in an ionic liquid, 1‐n‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide {[bmim][N(SO2CF3)2]}. [Bmim][N(SO2CF3)2] was found to be superior not only to classical organic solvents but also to its counterpart, [bmim][BF4], which was proven to be successful in the TsNCl2‐based aminohalogenation but failed to give any product for this reaction. The present process takes the advantage of 2‐NsNCl2 as the stable nitrogen/halogen source in a one‐pot operation without the use of any metal catalysts, it is convenient to perform without special protection of inert gases. Eight examples were examined with good to excellent stereoselectivity (1:5 to one isomer) and modest to good chemical yields (53–72 %).  相似文献

Ionic liquids (ILs) are employed for air-drying for the first time. The experimental gas–liquid equilibrium (EQ) of N2/O2 + [EMIM][BF4] and N2/O2 + [EMIM][BF4] + H2O systems under a broad temperature range are measured. The new modified UNIFAC-Lei model is successfully extended to predict the N2/O2-IL-H2O system based on extensive phase EQ data. Novel all‐cis‐configurated indolizino[3,4‐b]quinoline receptors 3, 4 were prepared via diastereoselective Lewis acid‐catalyzed cyclization of N‐arylimines 6, 7 as the key step. In order to obtain the indolizino[3,4‐b]quinoline derivative 21 without a gem‐dimethyl group at C‐7, an N‐arylimine precursor 18 bearing a vinyldisilane terminus was prepared in 8 steps from L‐prolinol 15 . In contrast to the known β‐effect of silyl groups cyclization of 18 proceeded via an α‐carbenium ion species to give the diastereomeric products 19, 20, which were desilylated to 21, 22 . The association constants for receptors 2 — 4 and 21 decreased in the order 21 > 2 > 4 > 3 for both acetic acid and N‐Z‐phenylalanine as substrates.  相似文献

The density, viscosity, refractive index, heat capacity, heat of dilution, ionic conductivity, and electrochemical stability of 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide ([bmim][Br]), 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium iodide ([bmim][I]), and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([bmim][BF4]) were measured at room temperature or over a temperature range of 293.2 to 323.2 K. The density and refractive index values of [bmim][I] appeared to be the highest among three ionic liquids (ILs). However, the experimental viscosity values of [bmim][Br] were higher than those of [bmim][BF4], while the heat capacities and heats of dilution of [bmim][BF4] were higher than those of [bmim][Br]. The cyclic voltammogram of [bmim][br] and [bmim][BF4] indicated electrochemical windows in the stability range from 2.7 V of [bmim][[Br] to 4.7 V of [bmim][BF4].  相似文献

Methyl‐2‐amino‐5‐[2‐(4‐methoxyphenethyl)]thiophene‐3‐carboxylate ( 8 c ) is the prototype of a well‐defined class of tumor‐selective agents. Compound 8 c preferentially inhibited the proliferation of a number of tumor cell lines including many human T‐lymphoma/leukemia cells, but also several prostate, renal, central nervous system and liver tumor cell types. Instead, a broad variety of other tumor cell lines including B‐lymphomas and HeLa cells were not affected. The tumor selectivity (TS; selectivity index or preferential suppression of CEM lymphoma (IC50=0.90 μM ) versus HeLa tumor cell carcinoma (IC50=39 μM )) amounted up to ~43 for 8 c . At higher concentrations, the compound proved cytotoxic rather than cytostatic. The antiproliferative potency and selectivity of 8 c could be preserved by replacing the ethyl linker between the 2‐amino‐3‐carboxymethylthiophene and the substituted aryl by a thioalkyl but not by an oxyalkyl nor an aminoalkyl. Among >50 novel 8 c derivatives, the 5‐(4‐ethyl‐ and 4‐isopropylarylmethylthio)thiophene analogues, methyl‐2‐amino‐5‐((4‐ethylphenylthio)methyl)thiophene‐3‐carboxylate ( 13 m ) and methyl‐2‐amino‐5‐((4‐isopropylphenylthio)methyl)thiophene‐3‐carboxylate ( 13 n ), were more potent (IC50: 0.3–0.4 μM ) and selective (TS: 100–144) anti‐T‐lymphoma/leukemia agents than the prototype compound.  相似文献

High pressure carbon dioxide was dissolved in ionic liquid + toluene mixtures to obtain the conditions of pressure and composition where a liquid‐liquid phase split occurs at constant temperature. Ionic liquids (ILs) with four different cations paired with the bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ([Tf2N]?) anion were selected: 1‐hexyl‐3‐methylimidazolium ([hmim]+), 1‐hexyl‐3‐methylpyridinium ([hmpy]+), triethyloctylphosphonium ([P2228]+), and tetradecyltrihexylphosphonium ([P66614]+). The solubility of CO2 was measured in the liquid mixtures at temperatures between 298 and 333 K and at pressures up to 8 MPa, or until the second liquid phase appeared, for initial liquid phase compositions of 0.30, 0.50, and 0.70 mole fraction of IL. Ternary isotherms were compared with the binary solubility of CO2 in each IL and pure toluene. The lowest pressure for separating toluene in a second liquid phase was achieved by decreasing the temperature of the system, increasing the amount of toluene in the initial liquid mixture and using [hmim][Tf2N]. © 2015 American Institute of Chemical Engineers AIChE J, 61: 2968–2976, 2015  相似文献

Highly efficient syntheses of indolo[2,1‐a]isoquinolines, indolo[2,1‐a][2]benzazepines, pyrrolo[2,1‐a]isoquinolines and pyrrolo[1,2‐a]benzazepines in excellent yields have been achieved by the intramolecular photochemical cross‐coupling reactions of 3‐acyl‐2‐halo‐N‐(ω‐arylalkyl)indoles and 2‐chloro‐N‐(ω‐arylalkyl)pyrrole‐3‐carbaldehydes in acetone. A new heterocyclic ring system – pyrrolo[1,2‐d][1,4]benzoxazepine – has also been constructed for the first time in this work by the photocyclization of 2‐chloro‐N‐(2‐phenoxyethyl)pyrrole‐3‐carbaldehyde.  相似文献
