设计一种面向生产线的无线射频识别(RFID)系统框架,在分析基于电子产品编码协议的RFID系统通信过程的基础上,进行RFID系统框架的总体仿真和通信特性分析。利用Simulink中S函数实现了编、解码模块和基带码元功能模块,并采用16-QAM调制方式,在Rician衰减(伦琴衰减)和加性高斯白噪声的自动化生产线环境中,得到信噪比和误码率的关系。仿真结果表明所建立的系统框架可行,提高了数据传输速率,增强了数据传输的可靠性,为科学合理地设计RFID系统提供了参考。 相似文献

汽车离合器生产装配过程中,每道工序的装配结果及每项测试信息对产品质量控制都非常重要。经过对射频识别RFID的功能、特征及应用研究,将RFID技术应用到汽车离合器装配生产线中,实现了在生产过程中进行数据的采集、存储、交互。同时,又可以对离合器产品型号进行识别,装配到哪一步工序进行识别和自动记录,从而实现汽车离合器产品防错和装配工序防漏。为汽车离合器装配生产线的数据传输形式提供了解决方案,生产线的自动化程度得到很大提高。 相似文献

Radio frequency identification has attracted considerable press attention in recent years, and for good reasons: RFID not only replaces traditional barcode technology, it also provides additional features and removes boundaries that limited the use of previous alternatives. Printed bar codes are typically read by a laser-based optical scanner that requires a direct line-of-sight to detect and extract information. With RFID, however, a scanner can read the encoded information even when the tag is concealed for either aesthetic or security reasons. In the future, RFID tags will likely be used as environmental sensors on an unprecedented scale. 相似文献

In recognition of the need for more effective and efficient factory system integration solutions, this paper improves the method proposed in our previous work, focusing on new mechanisms to bridge the gap between shop floor automation and factory information systems. As one of the mainstream identification technologies, radio frequency identification (RFID) technology makes possible all products uniquely identifiable across factories. By taking advantage of data capacity stored in an RFID tag, critical manufacturing information on a product can be locally stored with the product. RFID technology provides a means for a product to rapidly retrieve its needed information as it advances through shop floors. A corresponding framework to enable the instant delivery of pertinent data and information on a uniquely identifiable job/product at point-of-need across factories is proposed. A small-scale manufacturing application is presented to show how the proposed approach can be implemented on the shop floor. 相似文献

or interweaved into user clothes, which are then read by RFID antennas. These readings can be used to recognize hand gestures,
which enable interaction with applications in an RFID-enabled environment. For instance, it allows people to interact with
large displays in public collaboration spaces without the need to carry a dedicated device. We propose the use of multiple
hypothesis tracking and the use of subtag count information to track the motion patterns of passive RFID tags. To the best
of our knowledge, this work is the first on motion pattern tracking using passive RFID tags. Despite the reading uncertainties
inherent in passive RFID technology, our experiments show that the proposed gesture recognition technique has an accuracy

The impact of false-negative reads on the performance of RFID-based shelf inventory control policies

Effective retail in-store logistics are paramount to provide high product availability at minimal operating costs. Despite various efforts by retailers to lower out-of-stock rates on retail shelves, product availability remains insufficient thereby significantly degrading a store's performance. Currently, retailers consider the introduction of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) to improve the efficiency of replenishment processes in stores. However, the possibilities of RFID are ultimately limited by the physical characteristics of RF communications. Tag detuning and the absorption of radio waves by the tag's environment may lead to so-called ‘false-negative' reads, i.e., RFID tags in range being undetected by the reader device. Retailers ignoring the impact of false-negatives on the performance of RFID-based inventory control systems run the risk of overestimating the benefits to be expected from RFID. We develop an inventory control policy based on shelf stock information generated by RFID, which specifically accounts for inaccuracies associated with false-negative reads. The mathematical model is optimized for operating costs and compared to a basic periodic review strategy in a numerical study. The results indicate that the impact of false-negatives on cost remains modest for medium to high read rates. However, the system performance is sensitive to a number of exogenous parameters that must be considered when evaluating the practical use of RFID. 相似文献

The emergence of radio frequency identification (RFID) has brought with it a plethora of privacy concerns and experts are questioning whether the hoopla surrounding RFID is justified. Using RFID should trigger the same privacy concerns as other commonly used technology such as credit cards, cell phones, and the Internet. RFID's potential to revolutionize the retail industry by maximizing suppliers' ability to control inventory and reduce theft is widely recognized. In fact, some technology forecasters predict that RFID tags will eventually replace bar codes on almost all product packaging. The privacy debate centers around RFID tags themselves, which function like tiny radios, wirelessly transmitting information to network receivers.
