文章研究了基于TTL的Web缓存层次过滤效果,业务量性质对基于TTL的动态Web缓存系统的性能有重要影响。在层次缓存中,由于只有错失的请求才会被转发给下一级缓存,因而逐级对业务量存在过滤作用,业务量性质随之改变。文章利用仿真研究了基于TTL的动态Web缓存层次过滤对业务量的影响。重点考察了请求到达间隔模型及对象流行度分布的变化。 相似文献

Web caching has been the solution of choice to web latency problems. The efficiency of a Web cache is strongly affected by the replacement algorithm used to decide which objects to evict once the cache is saturated. Numerous web cache replacement algorithms have appeared in the literature. Despite their diversity, a large number of them belong to a class known as stack‐based algorithms. These algorithms are evaluated mainly via trace‐driven simulation. The very few analytical models reported in the literature were targeted at one particular replacement algorithm, namely least recently used (LRU) or least frequently used (LFU). Further they provide a formula for the evaluation of the Hit Ratio only. The main contribution of this paper is an analytical model for the performance evaluation of any stack‐based web cache replacement algorithm. The model provides formulae for the prediction of the object Hit Ratio, the byte Hit Ratio, and the delay saving ratio. The model is validated against extensive discrete event trace‐driven simulations of the three popular stack‐based algorithms, LRU, LFU, and SIZE, using NLANR and DEC traces. Results show that the analytical model achieves very good accuracy. The mean error deviation between analytical and simulation results is at most 6% for LRU, 6% for the LFU, and 10% for the SIZE stack‐based algorithms. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

鉴于低轨卫星网络的高动态性和空间环境的复杂性,如何提供在线的快速服务功能链(SFC)部署方法,成为低轨卫星边缘网络中亟待解决的问题。综合考虑节点和链路容量等约束以及服务迁移等切换代价,针对部署多接入边缘计算(MEC)服务器的低轨卫星网络,该文提出一种基于自然梯度参与者-评价者(Actor-Critic)强化学习架构的SFC在线部署方法。首先,针对低轨卫星网络的环境高动态性, 对实时容量约束和迁移代价进行建模;其次,引入马尔可夫决策过程(MDP),综合考虑服务迁移和卫星坐标等因素,描述低轨卫星网络的状态转移过程;最后,提出一种基于自然梯度的在线SFC部署强化学习方法,不同于标准梯度,自然梯度法进行模型层面的更新,以避免神经网络的训练陷入局部最优解。仿真结果表明,该文方法可逼近全局最优解,并在端到端时延性能上优于基于标准梯度的强化学习部署方法。 相似文献

目前,世界主要发达国家正加快构建类型多样、规模庞大的NGSO卫星互联网系统,纷纷申报空间频率轨道资源,争取空间信息领域战略入口,频率资源占用冲突也愈发严重,实际解决各NGSO系统的频率轨道资源冲突已成为ITU及各国NGSO卫星建设部门的重要工作,里程碑决议应运而生。本文对ITU里程碑决议进行解析,并基于ITU里程碑方法及FCC里程碑要求对FCC已授权的三大重点NGSO星座系统频率投入使用及部署情况进行研究,同时分析了国外NGSO星座系统部署能力及动态,为我国空间频率资源协调和卫星系统发展提供参考。 相似文献

To accomplish network layer integration of terrestrial and satellite IP networks, special exterior gateway protocols are needed. In this work, a new exterior gateway protocol called Border Gateway Protocol – Satellite version (BGP-S) is introduced that enables automated discovery of paths that go through the satellite network. This protocol is designed to work in only one terrestrial gateway in every Autonomous System and enables the forwarding of discovered paths in the Internet using the BGP-4 protocol. This paper introduces the caching strategy and service policy optimization problem in a cache-satellite distribution service and formulates it as a mathematical optimization problem. A number of system performances like hit rate, cache disk space, bandwidth gain, bandwidth requirements for the satellite channel and latency experienced by the clients were modeled into a mathematical formulation. To show how the optimal caching and service policy responds to the system parameter changes, computational experiments were performed on a hypothetical market having forty ISPs and one billion Web documents. It was found that the correlation between document size and popularity is most influential and the concentration of popularity appeared to be the main factor determining the sensitivity of the optimal caching levels and the corresponding system performances like hit rate and byte hit rate. The achieved hit rate ranged between 64 and 74% with the corresponding caching levels of 25 to 40%. Based on these findings, the importance of caching strategy and service policy optimization was discussed and a number of further research issues were suggested. 相似文献
