在普通液晶显示器的背光源与LCD屏之间插入一块特殊的光栅板是主流自由立体显示器基本配置,照明盒与光栅板结合构成视差照明方式实现对LCD屏的照明。视差照明的基本功能是将LCD屏奇、偶像素列所对应的图像分别送入视者的左、右眼。本文从视差照明原理出发,依据几何光学原理建立自由立体显示器配置参数(光栅板和LCD屏的结构参数以及二者的位置等参数)与立体视觉参数(视者位置、双目瞳距和立体视带等参数)之间的关系的理论模型,为立体显示器的设计及其立体视觉性能评价提供理论支持。 相似文献

为了表征狭缝光栅自由立体显示器存在的左右眼视差图像的混叠程度,提出了立体图像串扰度C的概念。根据狭缝光栅自由立体显示器的结构和工作原理,应用几何光学知识,分析得出了立体图像串扰度C的计算公式,并给出了一个具体的狭缝光栅自由立体显示器的计算结果。通过观看实验,证明了所定义的立体图像串扰度C可以定量描述观看者在立体可视区域看到的立体图像的串扰程度。 相似文献

为了实现液晶显示器的广视角显示,论文详细阐述了一款54.6cm(21.5in)液晶显示器的广对比度视角液晶面板及广亮度视角背光源的设计原理和方法。介绍了边缘场开关模式液晶面板的设计方法及结构,从原理上阐释了此液晶面板具有广对比度视角的原因;介绍了背光源亮度视角的设计方法,通过对背光源中多组光学膜层架构的测试和数据对比,得到了具有最广亮度视角的膜层架构。根据上述原理进行实际模组样品的制作并进行实测,数据结果显示此款液晶显示器的对比度视角可达90°/90°/90°/90°,且在水平方向的1/2亮度视角可达60°,相应的亮度视角均一性为1.20。通过对比其他同类产品的实测数据,表明此款液晶显示器无论在对比度视角还是亮度视角方面都远优于同类产品。 相似文献

Reports the diagnostic performance of observers in detecting abnormalities in computer-generated mammogram-like images. A mathematical model of the human breast is defined in which breast tissues are simulated by spheres of different sizes and densities. Images are generated by casting rays from a specified source, through the model, and onto an image plane. Observer performance when using two viewing modalities (stereo versus mono) is compared. In the stereo viewing mode, images are presented to the observer (wearing liquid-crystal display glasses), such that the left eye sees the left image only and the right eye sees the right image only. In this way, the images can be fused by the observer to obtain a sense of depth. In the mono viewing mode, identical images are presented to the left and right eyes so that no binocular disparities will be produced by the images. Observer response data are evaluated using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis to characterize any difference in detectability of abnormalities (in either the density or the arrangement of simulated tissue densities) using the two viewing modes. The authors' experimental results indicate the clear superiority of stereo viewing for detection of arrangement abnormalities. For detection of density abnormalities, the performance of the two viewing modes is similar. These preliminary results suggest that stereomammography may permit easier detection of certain tissue abnormalities, perhaps providing a route to earlier tumor detection in cases of breast cancer. 相似文献

数字图像技术的最新发展将促进立体显示的实现 ,它使得在数字领域对立体图像进行高效处理和编码成为可能。立体图像显示已经应用于教育、医疗和娱乐等领域。反过来这些图像应用领域又促进了立体显示技术的发展。不管采用何种方式处理立体显示数据 ,因显示系统的终端为观察者 ,它必须以某种方式将正确的图像展现到观察者与其对应的眼前。一种简单经济的方法就是时分转换法。对应于左眼和右眼的图像在一个刷新周期内交替出现。观察者戴着光阀眼镜 ,当左眼图像显示时 ,左眼光阀被打开使图像通过 ,此时右眼光阀处于关闭状态阻止图像通过。当右眼图像显示时 ,光阀操作过程正好相反。这样 ,在立体显示中左眼只见到左眼图像 ,右眼只见到右眼图像。当观察者的眼睛位置随着其头部运动而发生变化时 ,应回馈其变化以调整左眼和右眼的图像使观察不受影响。此文介绍一种应用超声波传感器构成的简单的、低成本的显示头跟踪器。置于眼镜上的超声波发射器发送信号 ,其显示屏上 3个超声波接收器 (呈三角形放置 )接收信号。根据从发射信号到接收信号的时间间隔可以计算出头部位置。介绍了硬件结构、实验数据分析及校正算法。最后讨论了虚拟现实应用未来研究方向 ,即改善眼睛舒适度的自由观看系统。 相似文献

Stereoscopic images are generated from a pair of images (i.e., left and right images). In order to generate 3-D perception
using the left and right images, it should be guaranteed that each image is perceived by the corresponding eye only. However,
the depth perception becomes distorted when the left and the right eye views are interchanged, also known as a pseudoscopic
problem. In this paper, we propose a novel method for detecting the pseudoscopic view by using disparity comparison in stereo
images. Our approach originates from the idea that the disparities on a scene are categorized into three classes: zero disparity,
positive disparity, and negative disparity, and that the foreground is usually located in front of the background. The proposed
pseudoscopic view detection system consists of three sequential stages: 1) foreground/background segmentation, 2) feature
points extraction, and 3) disparity comparison. We first segment the given image into two layers (i.e., foreground and background).
Then, the feature points at each layer are extracted and matched to estimate the disparity characteristics of each layer.
Finally, the existence of the pseudoscopic view can be investigated by using a disparity calibration model (DCM) presented
in this paper and comparing the sign and magnitude of the average disparity of selected matching points set at each layer.
Experimental results on various stereoscopic video sequences show that the proposed method is a useful and efficient approach

A two-dimensional (2-D) least squares (LS)-based filtering scheme for high fidelity stereo image compression applications is introduced in this correspondence. This method removes the effects of mismatching in a stereo image pair by applying the left image as the reference input to a 2-D transversal filter while the right image is used as the desired output. The weights of the filter are computed using a block-based LS method. A reduced order filtering scheme is also introduced to find the optimum number of filter coefficients. The principal coefficients and the disparity vectors are used together with left image to reconstruct the right image at the receiver, The proposed schemes are examined on a real stereo image pair for 3D-TV applications and the results were benchmarked against those of the block-matching method. 相似文献
