This paper presents a high intensity discharge(HID) lamp for automotive illumination. A novel type of ballast for HID is proposed without an acoustic resonance. The system consists of high frequency DC/DC converter,DC/AC inverter(SLA2403M), high voltage igniter and a microcontroller unit(MCU). The proposed ballast controls the complex start-up process and constant power process by programming on the rnicrocontroller. It is verified that experimental results agree well with the calculated ones. The ballast features such functions as failure protection, line under-voltage, line over-voltage, output short circuit and disconnection protections.  相似文献

A reduced-component-number single-stage power-processing electronic ballast to drive high-intensity discharge lamps is presented in this paper. A dc–dc buck converter, which controls the current and the power of the lamp, a power factor preregulator based on a discontinuous conduction mode boost converter, and the inverter are combined in a boost integrated with buck rectifier/energy storage/dc–dc converter. It operates with a line-frequency square-wave current driving the lamp. The signals of the power stages are provided by a dedicated microcontroller. Ballast for sodium vapor lamps of 70 W without acoustic resonance was implemented, resulting in a $pf = 0.97$ with 22% total harmonic distortion and $eta = 84%$.   相似文献

High-intensity discharge (HID) lamps are becoming popular substitutes for halogen lamps in automotive headlamps because of the high lumen/watt ratio and the color of the light. In this paper, a ballast (integrated with a voltage multiplier circuit in the secondary winding of the dc converter transformer) with dimming control is presented. The proposed circuit not only eliminates one auxiliary winding but also reduces the voltage across the switch on the primary side and consequently permits the selection of switches with a lower rating. A brief review of the HID circuits is done and compared with the proposed circuit. Experimental results from the prototype are presented. This paper also presents different methods of dimming the automotive HID lamps based on analog and digital control and discusses the relative merits of each of the methods. The dimming control is implemented using both the methods, and experimental results are presented. It is envisaged that the dimming control will provide some flexibility to drivers in the control of HID lamps to suit the driving conditions in the modern cities that are very well lit at night. This paper investigates the merits of each method and discusses the practical issues for implementing such controls.   相似文献

A single-stage single-switch high- frequency electronic ballast topology is presented. The circuit topology is the integration of a buck power- factor-correction (PFC) converter and a class E resonant inverter with only one active power switch. The buck converter is operated in discontinuous conduction mode and at a fixed switching frequency, and constant duty cycle to achieve high power factor and it can be controlled easily. Detailed analysis of the operation and characteristics of the circuit is provided. Simulation results satisfy present standard requirements.  相似文献

基于0.18μm CMOS工艺,采用间接闭环控制方式,设计出一个适用于Class 1蓝牙E类功率放大器的低成本、高集成度输出功率控制电路.输出级电源电压采用类似LDO的结构控制.提出了一种新颖的一阶线性偏置电压结构,实现对输出级偏置电压的控制,极大地改善了功放的功率增益相对于控制电压的线性度,提高了PAE,最终实现了对输出功率2 dBm的步进控制.后仿真结果表明,输出功率控制精度较高,并具有较好的温度特性.  相似文献

We present a single-stage electronic ballast with a high power factor feature for driving high-intensity discharge (HID) lamps. A new frequency-modulation technique is proposed to eliminate the acoustic resonance problem in HID lamps under high-frequency operation. The proposed method has the merits of simple circuit and low cost; thus, it is suitable for use in commercial applications. The conducted emission caused by the high-frequency electronic ballast can be also effectively reduced. The operating principles and design considerations of the proposed electronic ballast are analyzed and discussed in detail. A 35-W laboratory prototype is designed and implemented. Simulation and experimental waveforms are given to verify the feasibility of the proposed method. The results are satisfactory.  相似文献

汽车HID前照灯瞬间快速启动需要13~25KV的高压,为了减小电路体积,本文提出了三倍压整流电路和能量压缩的高压启动电路.在启动阶段加入启动方向随机选择程序,缓解了电极过快烧损,延长HID前照灯的使用寿命,启动后引入低频电流积分控制方法保证了可靠的辉弧过渡,自动适应不同的启动条件和老化程度.采用PLC编程开关试验的结果表明,该启动电路能可靠完成HID前照灯的启动要求.  相似文献

针对传统LED恒流驱动电路存在输出电流受LED电压、关断时间和电感大小等影响的问题,设计了一种采用线性跨导放大器和电压控制延迟电路的新型LED照明恒流驱动电路。通过理论分析,并采用1μm 700 V BCD工艺进行仿真,结果表明,消除了传统LED恒流驱动电路的问题。使用新型LED恒流驱动电路,有效提高了应用方案的可靠性和LED照明驱动模块生产的一致性。  相似文献

提出一种应用于低功率的双频输入微波整流电路,采用双频匹配网络和直通滤波器分别实现二极管的输入匹配和抑制双频的基频与高次谐波,当输入为1 mW 时,实测结果显示,该整流电路在850 MHz 和1.9 GHz 频率处分别获得了47%和81.4%的整流效率,输出电压分别为0.53 V 和0.70 V,在输入双频信号时输出电压为0.85V,转换效率为60.8%,其低功率输入性能在国内具有先进性,并对RFID、嵌入式传感器电子设备无线输能等领域的应用具有实际参考价值。  相似文献

This paper presents the analysis and design of a novel millimeter-wave power combining circuit. This combing circuit is composed of a new style 3-dB combiner, which achieves low-loss, wide-band, and symmetric power division. Different from conventional Wilkinson hybrid, the proposed combiner requires no isolating resistor, and is easier fabricated and more suitable for millimeter integrate circuits. Analytical and experimental work on a two-way combining circuit with wave-guide ports in Ka-band shows the combiner has an insertion loss of 0.2dB, and a power-combining efficiency above 80% in 32–33GHz is obtained.  相似文献
