There is increasing interest worldwide in the decentralized treatment of gray water. Since ground‐level areas are generally costly, gray‐water treatment can also be carried out using helophyte mats on the roofs of buildings as an alternative. Alongside the water treatment itself, this process also has a positive effect on the indoor climate in the building. In a test carried out under realistic conditions, it was shown that a helophyte mat with a root‐layer depth of 0.1 m and with hydraulic loads per unit up to 15 L m?2d?1 is suitable for treating typical gray water from a residential building.  相似文献

In order to determine the increase in efficiency of n‐octane compared to water as a propellant in ejector refrigeration systems, a pilot plant with a cooling capacity of up to 1.5 kW was set up. In both cases, water was used as the suction medium, the so‐called cooling medium. From the pressure and temperature measurement data, the two mass flows, the so‐called motive and suction flow, and from this the mass flow ratios could be obtained. Subsequently, a comparison of the theoretical coefficient of performance for the two propellants was carried out in the case of closed‐loop operation.  相似文献

Different strategies in sludge disposal of european countries lead to different sludge disposal paths. Thermal treatment, which is widely spread in Germany, is rarely used in the Czech Republic. This article describes, based on experimental work, the emissions production of certain pollutants emerging from the sludge incineration and investigates the effect of lime addition on the amount of produced pollutants.  相似文献

The aim of the presented study is to develop a new technology for a highly efficient heating of fluidized beds. The energy input in fluidized beds can be performed by convective indirect heating of the fluidizing medium, or by induction by means of electrically conductive inert particles (such as iron hollow balls), in which energy is transferred via an induction field. On the surface of these particles, the heat is released directly and without contact into the fluidized bed. The impact of parameters like bed mass, air velocity and supplied induction power on the inductive heating was systematically investigated. A simplified heat transfer model was developed. With this model a good agreement with the measured values for heating and cooling can be achieved.  相似文献
