A laboratory-scale activated sludge plant composed of a 20 L volume aerobic reactor followed by a 12 L volume settling tank and operating at 35 degrees C was used to study the biodegradation of coke wastewater. The concentrations of ammonium nitrogen (NH(4)(+) -N), phenols, chemical oxygen demand (COD) and thiocyanate (SCN(-)) in the wastewater ranged between 504 and 2,340, 110 and 350, 807 and 3,275 and 185 and 370 mg/L, respectively. The study was undertaken with and without the addition of bicarbonate. The addition of this inorganic carbon source was necessary to favour nitrification, as the alkalinity of the wastewater was very low. Maximum removal efficiencies of 75%, 98% and 90% were obtained for COD, phenols and thyocianates, respectively, without the addition of bicarbonate. The concentration of ammonia increased in the effluent due to both the formation of NH(4)(+) as a result of SCN(-) biodegradation and to organic nitrogen oxidation. A maximum nitrification efficiency of 71% was achieved when bicarbonate was added, the removals of COD and phenols being almost similar to those obtained in the absence of nitrification. Batch experiments were performed to study the influence of pH and alkalinity on the biodegradation of phenols and thiocyanate.  相似文献

A feasible method for treatment of the wastewater from the two-staged neutralization in 2,2',5,5'-tetrachlorobenzidine (TCB) manufacturing processes, a refractory dye intermediate effluents, based on combined micro-electrochemical oxidation or iron-chipping filtration (ICF) and air-stripping reactor (ASR), was developed. On conditions of HRT 1h, pH 3.0 in ICF and HRT 38 h, gas-liquid ratio 15, pH 6.0-8.65, temperature 26 degrees C in ASR, the overall COD, color, TCB and NH(4)(+)-N removal were 96.8%, 91%, 87.61% and 62%, respectively, during the treatment of TCB wastewater from the two-staged neutralization dissolved by methanol. The averaged 18.3%, 81.7% of the total degraded COD, 35.2%, 64.8% of TCB were carried out in ICF and ASR, respectively. NH(4)(+)-N removal was finished mainly in ASR. The experimental results indicated that the combined micro-electrochemical oxidation and air-stripping process performed good treatment of COD, color, TCB and NH(4)(+)-N removal in TCB wastewater from the two-staged neutralization dissolved by ethanol or acetone, came up the discharge standard in China. But the TCB wastewater from the two-staged neutralization dissolved by methanol should be deeply treated before discharged.  相似文献

A simulated wastewater containing phenol (2500 mg/L), thiocyanate and ammonia-nitrogen (500 mg/L) was treated in an anaerobic (R1)-anoxic (R2)-aerobic (R3) moving bed biofilm reactor system at different hydraulic retention time (HRT) intervals (total HRT 3-8 days, R1: 1.5-4 days; R2: 0.75-2 days and R3: 0.75-2 days) and feed thiocyanate (SCN(-)) concentrations (110-600 mg/L) to determine substrate removal kinetics. In R1, phenol and COD reduction and specific methanogenic activity were inhibited due to the increase of SCN(-) in feed. Bhatia et al. model having inbuilt provision of process inhibition described the kinetics of COD and phenol utilization with maximum utilization rates of 0.398 day(-1) and 0.486 day(-1), respectively. In R2 and R3 modified Stover-Kincannon model was suitable to describe substrate utilization. In R2 respective maximum SCN(-), phenol, COD and NO(3)(-)-N utilization rates were 0.23, 5.28, 37.7 and 11.82 g/L day, respectively. In aerobic reactor R3, COD, SCN(-) and NH(4)(+)-N removal rates were, respectively, 10.53, 1.89, and 2.17 g/L day. The minimum total HRT of three-stage system was recommended as 4 days.  相似文献

Sulfide removal in petroleum refinery wastewater by chemical precipitation   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
Sulfide removal by chemical precipitation from petroleum refinery wastewater was investigated. The wastewater samples were taken from the flocculation pond influent of TUPRAS Kirikkale Middle Anatolia Petroleum Refinery Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and physicochemical treatments using conventional coagulants which were partial precipitant [FeCl(3) . 6H(2)O and FeSO(4) . 7H(2)O] and coagulant-aids [Ca(OH)(2) and CaCO(3)] were applied to both raw and sulfide added wastewater. Sulfide and chemical oxygen demand (COD) removal efficiencies of Fe(3+) ions alone for sulfide added wastewaters having different pH values varied between 62-95 and 45-75%, respectively. In addition, removal efficiencies of sulfide (96-99%) and COD (50-80%) were obtained by using Fe(2+) ions together with Ca(OH)(2) as precipitant-aid under the same conditions. In experiments performed with raw wastewater which had different pH values, COD removal efficiencies of Fe(3+) and Fe(2+) ions together with Ca(OH)(2), were 50-80 and 32-50%, respectively.  相似文献

Municipal landfill leachate, especially mature leachate, may disrupt the performance of moderately-sized municipal activated sludge wastewater treatment plants, and likewise tend to be recalcitrant to biological pretreatment. Recently, Fenton methods have been investigated for chemical treatment or pre-treatment of mature leachate. In this paper, the results of laboratory tests to determine the roles of oxidation and coagulation in reducing the organic content of mature leachate during Fenton treatment are presented. The efficiencies of chemical oxygen demand (COD) oxidation and coagulation were tested, and the ratio of COD removal by oxidation to that by coagulation was assessed, under various operating conditions. Low initial pH, appropriate relative and absolute Fenton reagent dosages, aeration, and stepwise addition of reagents increased COD removal by oxidation and the importance of oxidation relative to coagulation. Simultaneous aeration and stepwise reagent addition allowed comparable treatment without initial acidification pH, due to the generation of acidic organic intermediates and the continuous input of CO2. On the other hand, high COD oxidation efficiency and low ferrous dosage inhibited COD removal by coagulation. At significantly high oxidation efficiency, overall COD reduction decrease slightly due to low coagulation efficiency. Under the most favorable conditions (initial pH 3, molar ratio [H(2)O(2)]/[Fe2+]=3, [H2O2]=240 mM, and six dosing steps), 61% of the initial COD was removed, and the ratio of COD removal oxidation to coagulation was 0.75. Results highlighted the synergistic roles of oxidation and coagulation in Fenton treatment of mature leachate, and the role of oxidation in controlling the efficiency of removal of COD by coagulation.  相似文献

The applicability of Fenton's oxidation as an advanced treatment for chemical oxygen demand (COD) and color removal from anaerobically treated poultry manure wastewater was investigated. The raw poultry manure wastewater, having a pH of 7.30 (+/-0.2) and a total COD of 12,100 (+/-910) mg/L was first treated in a 15.7 L of pilot-scale up-flow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) reactor. The UASB reactor was operated for 72 days at mesophilic conditions (32+/-2 degrees C) in a temperature-controlled environment with three different hydraulic retention times (HRT) of 15.7, 12 and 8.0 days, and with organic loading rates (OLR) between 0.650 and 1.783 kg COD/(m3day). Under 8.0 days of HRT, the UASB process showed a remarkable performance on total COD removal with a treatment efficiency of 90.7% at the day of 63. The anaerobically treated poultry manure wastewater was further treated by Fenton's oxidation process using Fe2+ and H2O2 solutions. Batch tests were conducted on the UASB effluent samples to determine the optimum operating conditions including initial pH, effects of H2O2 and Fe2+ dosages, and the ratio of H2O2/Fe2+. Preliminary tests conducted with the dosages of 100 mg Fe2+/L and 200 mg H2O2/L showed that optimal initial pH was 3.0 for both COD and color removal from the UASB effluent. On the basis of preliminary test results, effects of increasing dosages of Fe2+ and H2O2 were investigated. Under the condition of 400 mg Fe2+/L and 200 mg H2O2/L, removal efficiencies of residual COD and color were 88.7% and 80.9%, respectively. Under the subsequent condition of 100 mg Fe2+/L and 1200 mg H2O2/L, 95% of residual COD and 95.7% of residual color were removed from the UASB effluent. Results of this experimental study obviously indicated that nearly 99.3% of COD of raw poultry manure wastewater could be effectively removed by a UASB process followed by Fenton's oxidation technology used as a post-treatment unit.  相似文献

Catalytic thermal treatment (thermolysis) accompanied with coagulation was used for the removal of COD and color of composite wastewater from a cotton textile mill. CuSO4, FeSO4, FeCl3, CuO, ZnO and PAC were used as catalytic agents during thermolysis. Homogeneous copper sulphate at a mass loading of 6 kg/m3 was found to be the most active. Similarly during coagulation aluminum potassium sulphate [KAl(SO4)(2).16H2O] at a coagulant concentration of 5 kg/m3 was found to be the best among the other coagulants tested, namely, commercial alum, FeSO4, FeCl3 and PAC. During thermolysis, a reduction in COD and color of composite wastewater of about 77.9 and 92.85%, respectively, was observed at pH 12. Coagulation of fresh composite waste using aluminum potassium sulphate resulted in 88.62% COD reduction and 95.4% color reduction at pH 8. Coagulation of the supernatant obtained after treatment by catalytic thermolysis resulted in overall reduction of 97.3% COD and close to 100% color reductions at pH 8 at a lesser coagulant concentration of 3 kg/m3. The results reveal that the application of coagulation after thermolysis is most effective in removing nearly 100% of COD and color at a lower dose of coagulant. The sludge thus produced would contain lower inorganic mass coagulant and can be used as a solid fuel with high calorific value of about 16 MJ/kg, close to that of Indian coal.  相似文献

A mathematical model was developed for an activated sludge unit treating 4-chlorophenol (4-CP) containing synthetic wastewater composed of diluted molasses, urea, KH(2)PO(4) and MgSO(4) with COD and 4-CP contents of 2500 and 500 mg l(-1), respectively. The model included 4-CP inhibition on COD and 4-CP removals. Experimental data obtained at different hydraulic residence times (HRT=5-30h) and sludge ages (SRT, 3-30 days) were used to estimate the kinetic and inhibition constants for COD and 4-CP removal rates. 4-CP inhibition on COD removal was negligible while the inhibition on 4-CP removal was significant. The specific rate constant (k), saturation constant (K(s)) for COD oxidation were found to be 2.64 day(-1) and 559 mg l(-1), respectively. A similar model was used for 4-CP oxidation in the activated sludge unit and the constants were found to be k'=1.44 day(-1), K'(s)=25.7 mgl(-1), K"(CP)=559 mg l(-1),and K(I,CP)=17 mg l(-1). Increases in death rate constant because of 4-CP inhibition was also quantified and the inhibition constants were determined for both COD and 4-CP removals. Model predictions with the estimated kinetic constants were in good agreement with the experimental data. Developed model can be used to estimate the performance of an activated sludge unit treating 4-CP containing wastewater under the specified experimental conditions.  相似文献

Wastewater treatment in a hybrid activated sludge baffled reactor   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
A novel hybrid activated sludge baffled reactor (HASBR), which contained both suspended and attached-growth biomass perfect mixing cells in series, was developed by installing standing and hanging baffles and introducing plastic brushes into a conventional activated sludge (CAS) reactor. It was used for the treatment of domestic wastewater. The effects on the operational performance of developing the suspended and attached-growth biomass and reactor configuration were investigated. The change of the flow regime from complete-mix to plug-flow, and the addition of plastic brushes as a support for biofilm, resulted in considerable improvements in the COD, nitrogen removal efficiency of domestic wastewater and sludge settling properties. In steady state, approximately 98+/-2% of the total COD and 98+/-2% of the ammonia of the influent were removed in the HASBR, when the influent wastewater concentration was 593+/-11 mg COD/L and 43+/-5 mg N/L, respectively, at a HRT of 10 h. These results were 93+/-3 and 6+/-3% for the CAS reactor, respectively. Approximately 90+/-7% of the total COD was removed in the HASBR, when the influent wastewater concentration was 654+/-16 mg COD/L at a 3h HRT, and in the organic loading rate (OLR) of 5.36kgCOD m(-3) day(-1). The result for the CAS reactor was 60+/-3%. Existing CAS plants can be upgraded by changing the reactor configuration and introducing biofilm support media into the aeration tank.  相似文献

The electrochemical properties of two commercial (Condias, Sumitomo) boron-doped diamond thin-film electrodes were compared with those of two types of boron-doped diamond thin film deposited in our laboratory (microcrystalline, nanocrystalline). Scanning electron microscopy and Raman spectroscopy were used to characterize the electrode morphology and microstructure, respectively. Cyclic voltammetry was used to study the electrochemical response, with five different redox systems serving as probes (Fe(CN)(6)(3)(-)(/4)(-), Ru(NH(3))(6)(3+/)(2+), IrCl(6)(2)(-)(/3)(-), 4-methylcatechol, Fe(3+/2+)). The response for the different systems was quite reproducibile from electrode type to type and from film to film for electrodes of the same type. For all five redox systems, the forward reaction peak current varied linearly with the scan rate(1/2) (nu), indicative of electrode reaction kinetics controlled by mass transport (semi-infinite linear diffusion) of the reactant. Apparent heterogeneous electron-transfer rate constants, k degrees (app), for all five redox systems were determined from deltaE(p)-nu experimental data, according to the method described by Nicholson (Nicholson, R. S. Anal. Chem. 1965, 37, 1351.). The rate constants were also verified through digital simulation (DigiSim 3.03) of the voltammetric i-E curves at different scan rates. Good fits between the experimental and simulated voltammograms were found for scan rates up to 50 V/s. k degrees (app) values of 0.05-0.5 cm/s were observed for Fe(CN)(6)(3)(-)(/4)(-), Ru(NH(3))(6)(3+/2+), and IrCl(6)(2)(-)(/3)(-) without any extensive electrode pretreatment (e.g., polishing). Lower k degrees (app) values of 10(-)(4)-10(-)(6) cm/s were found for 4-methylcatechol and Fe(3+/2+). The voltammetric responses for Fe(CN)(6)(3)(-)(/4)(-) and Ru(NH(3))(6)(3+/2+) were also examined at all four electrode types at two different solution pH (1.90, 7.35). Since the hydrogen-terminated diamond surfaces contain few, if any, ionizable carbon-oxygen functionalities (e.g., carboxylic acid, pK(a) approximately 4.5), the deltaE(p), i(p)(ox), and i(p)(red) values for the two systems were, for the most part, unaffected by the solution pH. This is in contrast to the typical behavior of oxygenated, sp(2) carbon electrodes, such as glassy carbon.  相似文献

The decolorization and reduction of COD of dyeing wastewater from a cotton textile mill was conducted using catalytic thermal treatment (thermolysis) accompanied with/without coagulation. Thermolysis in presence of a homogeneous copper sulphate catalyst was found to be the most effective in comparison to other catalysts (FeCl(3), FeSO(4), CuO, ZnO and PAC) used. A maximum reduction of chemical oxygen demand (COD) and color of dyeing wastewater of 66.85% and 71.4%, respectively, was observed with a catalyst concentration of 5 kg/m(3) at pH 8. Commercial alum was found most effective coagulant among various coagulants (aluminum potassium sulphate, PAC, FeCl(3) and FeSO(4)) tested during coagulation operations, resulting in 58.57% COD and 74% color reduction at pH 4 and coagulant dose of 5 kg/m(3). Coagulation of the clear fluid (supernatant) obtained after treatment by thermolysis at the conditions previously used resulted in an overall reduction of 89.91% COD and 94.4% color at pH 4 and a coagulant dose of 2 kg/m(3). The application of thermolysis followed by coagulation, thus, is the most effective treatment method in removing nearly 90% COD and 95% color at a lower dose of coagulant (2 kg/m(3)). The sludge thus produced would contain lower inorganic mass coagulant and, therefore, less amount of inorganic sludge.  相似文献

Two types of operation means "SBR reactor alone (control reactor)" and "adding zeolite powder into SBR reactor (test reactor)" were used to treat municipal wastewater. The test results revealed that zeolite powder addition could improve the activity of the activated sludge. It was investigated the specific oxygen utilization rate (SOUR) of the tested zeolite sludge were about double times that of the control activated sludge, and the nitrification rate and settling property of zeolite-activated sludge were both improved. Due to the combination of zeolite adsorption for NH(4)(+)-N and enhanced simultaneous nitrification and de-nitrification (SND), a higher nitrogen removal was observed in test reactor compared to the control reactor, and the addition of zeolite powder is helpful to inhabit sludge bulking. In addition, through long-term parallel shock load test, it was found that the zeolite powder addition could enhance the ability of activated sludge in resisting the shock load of organics and ammonium. Compared to the control activated sludge, zeolite powder added activated sludge could remove COD, NH(4)(+)-N, TN and TP significantly in a shorter cycle time. At the same operational time period, the test SBR could treat wastewater quantity 1.22 times that treated in control SBR.  相似文献

In this work, the photo-Fenton process was used for the pretreatment of hospital wastewater with the objective of improving its overall biodegradability and determining the degree of increased oxidation. The chemical oxygen demand (COD), 5-day biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5), total organic carbon (TOC) and toxicity towards the gram negative marine bioluminescent bacteria of the species V. fischeri were selected as the environmental sum parameters to follow the performance of this process. The enhancement of biodegradability, evaluated in terms of the BOD5/COD ratio, increased from 0.3 to 0.52 and the oxidation degree, calculated in terms of AOS, leveled up from -1.14 to +1.58 at the optimum conditions; a dosage ratio of COD:H2O2:Fe(II) at 1:4:0.1, and a reaction pH of 3. The reduction in the inhibition percentage from the toxicity test indicated the safe levels for micro-organisms in degrading the residual organic substance in this method. Almost total removal percentages of COD, BOD5, and TOC were found by a sequential activated sludge process for the pre-treated wastewater. Results obtained from this work indicated that the photo-Fenton process could be a suitable pretreatment method in reducing toxicity of pollutants and enhancing biodegradability of hospital wastewaters treated in a coupled photochemical-biological system.  相似文献

Steel-making slag, a waste by-product of the Steel Industry, constitutes a major disposal problem. In the present study, excellent adsorbent materials for reducing eutrophication in wastewaters have been prepared from this slag. Heated samples of acid-treated slag and mixtures of slag with kaolinite and Al(OH)(3) were examined to determine their uptake capacities for NH(4)(+) and PO(4)(3-) from aqueous solutions. In general, the equilibrium pH of the solution increased in comparison to initial pH with the uptake of target ions, the sample activated slag-Al(OH)(3) showing the smallest change. The highest PO(4)(3-) uptake capacity was obtained with the slag-Al(OH)(3) mixture heated at 900 degrees C whereas the highest uptake of NH(4)(+) was found in the slag-Al(OH)(3) mixture heated at 800 degrees C. The uptake rates for PO(4)(3-) and NH(4)(+) by the slag-Al(OH)(3) mixture heated at 900 degrees C were 2.91 and 0.65 micro mol/(g min), respectively. It was shown that heating slag composites prior to incorporation into wastewater treatment filters resulted in an increased degree of NH(4)(+) and PO(4)(3-) uptake.  相似文献

Activated sludge from a wastewater treatment plant and pure culture of Hydrogenophaga pseudoflava were utilized for the development of a denitrifying biofilm in a submerged filter in order to remove nitrate from polluted groundwater. Nitrate removal efficiency, nitrite accumulation, turbidity, COD and faecal indicators persistence in the treated water were determined at different superficial hydraulic loading (10, 20 and 30 m(3)/m(2) d) and superficial nitrate loading rates (1, 2, 3, 6 and 9 Kg NO(3)(-)/m(2) d) in the submerged filter. The application of H. pseudoflava as inocula allowed better results in terms of system stability, higher superficial hydraulic loading and superficial nitrate loading rates (30 m(3)/m(2)d and 9 kg NO(3)(-) /m(2) d, respectively). These values improve those obtained when the system was inoculated with activated sludge. In addition, the pure microbial inocula improved design parameters and running of the process due to its biofilm homogeneity, obtaining treated water with better characteristics to its final use as drinking water than that obtained with an activated sludge inocula.  相似文献

Copper(II) ion toxicity onto activated sludge organisms was eliminated by addition of powdered waste sludge (PWS) to the feed wastewater for removal of Cu(II) ions by biosorption before biological treatment. The synthetic feed wastewater containing 14 or 22 mgl(-1) Cu(II) was mixed with PWS in a mixing tank where Cu(II) ions were adsorbed onto PWS and the mixture was fed to a sedimentation tank to separate Cu(II) containing PWS from the feed wastewater. The activated sludge unit fed with the effluent of the sedimentation tank was operated at a hydraulic residence time (HRT) of 10h and sludge age (SRT) of 10 days. To investigate Cu(II), COD and toxicity removal performance of the activated sludge unit at different PWS loadings, the system was operated at different PWS loading rates (0.1-1 gPWSh(-1)) while the Cu(II) loading rate was constant throughout the operation. Percent copper, COD and toxicity removals increased with increasing PWS loading rate due to increased adsorption of Cu(II) onto PWS yielding low Cu(II) contents in the feed. Biomass concentration in the aeration tank increased and the sludge volume index (SVI) decreased with increasing PWS loading rate due to elimination of Cu(II) from the feed wastewater by PWS addition. PWS addition to the Cu(II) containing wastewater was proven to be effective for removal of Cu(II) by biosorption before biological treatment. Approximately, 1 gPWSh(-1) should be added for 28 mgCuh(-1) loading rate for complete removal of Cu(II) from the feed wastewater to obtain high COD removals in the activated sludge unit.  相似文献

The emission characteristics of volatile compounds (VCs) during municipal sewage sludge (MSS) and paper mill sludge (PMS) drying process were investigated through experiments conducted on a lab-scale tubular drying furnace and a pilot-scale paddle dryer, respectively. The result indicated that five kinds of VCs, i.e. CO(2), NH(3), C(7)H(16) (n-heptane), volatile fatty acids (VFAs) and CH(4) were emitted during the drying process. It was found that the NH(3) and CO(2) were the primary compound released from the MSS drying process. In the case of the PMS, the VFAs and CO(2) were the main compounds released. The temperature and water content of sludge had great effects on the emission rates of NH(3), C(7)H(16), CO(2) and VFAs. The pH and chemical oxygen demand (COD) of condensate from the paddle dryer were also studied. It showed that pH and COD of condensate from MSS were much higher than that from the PMS, and that the higher COD value of the MSS condensate interrelated to the higher ammonium and sulfur content of it.  相似文献

This study investigated the effect of coagulation/flocculation treatment process on wastewater of Fumman Beverage Industry, Ibadan, Nigeria. The study also compared different dosages of coagulant, polyelectrolyte (non-ionic polyacrylamide) and different pH values of the coagulation processes. The effect of different dosages of polyelectrolyte in combination with coagulant was also studied. The results reveal that low pH values (3-8), enhance removal efficiency of the contaminants. Percentage removal of 78, 74 and 75 of COD, TSS and TP, respectively, were achieved by the addition of 500 mg/L Fe2(SO4)3.3H2O and 93, 94 and 96% removal of COD, TSS and TP, respectively, were achieved with the addition of 25 mg/L polyelectrolyte to the coagulation process. The volume of sludge produced, when coagulant was used solely, was higher compared to the use of polyelectrolyte combined with Fe2(SO4)3.3H2O. This may be as a result of non-ionic nature of the polyelectrolyte; hence, it does not chemically react with solids of the wastewater. Coagulation/flocculation may be useful as a pre-treatment process for beverage industrial wastewater prior to biological treatment.  相似文献

The use of an integrated treatment scheme consisting of wet hydrogen peroxide catalytic oxidation (WHPCO) followed by two-stage upflow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) reactor (10l each) for the treatment of olive mill wastewater was the subject of this study. The diluted wastewater (1:1) was pre-treated using Fenton's reaction. Optimum operating conditions namely, pH, H(2)O(2) dose, Fe(+2), COD:H(2)O(2) ratio and Fe(+2):H(2)O(2) ratio were determined. The UASB reactor was fed continuously with the pre-treated wastewater. The hydraulic retention time was kept constant at 48h (24h for each stage). The conventional parameters such as COD, BOD, TOC, TKN, TP, TSS, oil and grease, and total phenols were determined. The concentrations of polyphenolic compounds in raw wastewater and effluents of each treatment step were measured using HPLC. The results indicated a good quality final effluent. Residual concentrations of individual organic compounds ranged from 0.432 mg l(-1) for rho-hydroxy-benzaldhyde to 3.273 mg l(-1) for cinnamic acid.  相似文献

The thermodynamics of binding between several homoallylic alcohols and simple olefinic Rh(I) compounds was examined with (1)H NMR spectroscopy and ITC. (1)H NMR titrations revealed moderate binding of these alcohols with [Rh(COD)(2)](+) (1) and [Rh(COD)(CH(3)CN)(2)](+) (3), but weaker binding with [Rh(NBD)(2)](+) (2). ITC indicated that the complexation with [Rh(COD)(2)](+) is mainly governed by enthalpy whereas binding with [Rh(COD)(CH(3)CN)(2)](+) is entirely driven by entropy. The thermodynamic parameters for the homoallylic alcohol binding of Rh(I) complexes 1-3 are consistent with crystallographic data.  相似文献
