通过硬度测试、连续冷却相变(CCT)试验以及OM、SEM、高温显微组织分析,研究了正火工艺参数对50 mm塑料模具钢718显微组织和硬度的影响。结果表明:试验钢贝氏体、马氏体转变的临界冷速较低,在0.05~1 ℃/s的冷速范围内均可以得到贝氏体和马氏体的混合组织;在65~155 min的正火加热时间内,随着正火时间的延长,硬度变化较小,但厚度方向的硬度和组织均匀性有较大的提高;回火态硬度对正火加热时间的敏感性较小,在不同的冷速下,890 ℃正火125 min均能得到沿截面均匀的硬度和组织。 相似文献

针对宝钢3号厚板连铸机改造投产后原保护渣不适应问题,结合铸机工艺特点对包晶钢用保护渣进行了研制开发,提出了一种高黏度、高析晶温度的设计方案,在实验室研究了碱度、Na2O、F等成分组元对析晶温度的影响。结果表明,在所研究的质量分数范围内,降低F质量分数对提高析晶温度是有利的,Na2O质量分数为4%时析晶温度最高,碱度越高,析晶温度也越高。通过降低碱度和F质量分数可实现提高黏度的目标,优化F、Na2O的质量分数以弥补低碱度的不足。先后开发了3种保护渣,稳步提高析晶温度,确保保护渣在试验过程中不至于因润滑功能不足而影响正常的连铸生产。经一年多的生产实践,析晶温度超过1 200 ℃的包晶钢保护渣完全满足要求。经批量应用,铸坯纵裂发生率年平均值降到了0.26%,达到了预期目标。 相似文献

模具钢模块在淬火过程中易出现水、油浸淬开裂、变形且淬火油会污染环境,空淬组织硬度不均匀等缺陷,为克服上述缺陷,设计并研制一套喷水淬火系统,选4Cr13模块对喷水淬火系统进行了初步试验,试验结果表明,用此系统喷淬的模块硬度均匀,无变形,可以避免开裂现象。 相似文献

In order to improve the machinability but not to impair other properties of the prehardened mold steel for plastic, the composition was designed by application of Thermo-Calc software package to regulate the type of nonmetallic inclusion formed in the steel. The regulated non-metallic inclusion type was also observed by SEM and EDX. Then the machinability assessment of the steel with designed composition under different conditions was studied by the measurement of tool wear amount and cutting force. The results show that the composition of free cutting elements adding to mold steel for plastic can be optimized to obtain proper type of non-metallic inclusion in the aid of Thermo-Calc, compared with the large volume fraction of soft inclusion which is needed for promoting ductile fracture at low cutting speeds, the proper type of inclusion at high cutting speeds is glassy oxide inclusion. In this study, the wear- and corrosion resistance of the layers formed on the surface of a precipitation hardenable plastic mold steel (NAK55) by plasma nitriding were investigated. Plasma nitriding experiments were carried out at an industrial nitriding facility in an atmosphere of 25% N2 + 75% H2 at 475 °C, 500 °C, and 525 °C for 10 h. The microstructures of the nitrided layers were examined, and various phases present were determined by X-ray diffraction. Wear tests were carried out on a block-on-ring wear tester under unlubricated conditions. The corrosion behaviors were evaluated using anodic polarization tests in 3.5% NaCl solution.The findings had shown that plasma nitriding does not cause the core to soften by overaging. Nitriding and aging could be achieved simultaneously in the same treatment cycle. Plasma nitriding of NAK55 mold steel produced a nitrided layer consisted of a compound layer rich in ε-nitride and an adjacent nitrogen diffusion layer on the steel surface. Increasing the nitriding temperature could bring about increase in the thickness of the nitrided layer and the nitride volume fraction. Plasma nitriding improved not only surface hardness but also wear resistance. The anti-wear property of the steel was found to relate to the increase in the thickness of the diffusion layer. Corrosion study revealed that plasma nitriding significantly improved corrosion resistance in terms of corrosion potential and corrosion rate. Improvement in corrosion resistance was found to be directly related to the increase in the nitride volume fraction at the steel surface. 相似文献
