To satisfy the service conditions of TISCO 4 350 m3 blast furnace and the requirements to taphole clay, the study on the taphole clay for large blast furnace was carried out. The taphole clay with good workability, opening ability and high-temperature performance was prepared by optimizing raw materials, grain size distribution, binder selection, etc. The trail application in TISCO 4 350 m3 blast furnace showed that the newly-developed taphole clay had a satisfactory performance. 相似文献

The compositions, structures and properties of envi- ronmental-friendly ramming materials for mud package and taphole of large-scaled blast furnaces were studied. The results show that the formation of silica fibers makes structure of ramming materials dense. During the process of extruding mud and ramming materials, SiC is partly oxidized ; CaO , F% 03 and carbon penetrate towards the outer wall. The improvement of ramming materials can inhibit the penetration of molten slag, iron and carbon. The bulk density of environmental-friendly ramming ma- terials dried at 200 ℃ is 2.90 g · cm-3, the cold com- pressive strength of this kind of ramming materials dried at 200 ℃ is about 17. 0 MPa and fired at I 450 ℃ is about 39. 2 MPa. 相似文献

Optimization of ironmaking blast furnaces (BFs) must consider bottom and top operations. This is done by a recently developed integrated BF model covering the BF below the burden surface. Key operating parameters are focused, viz. coal rate, oxygen enrichment, blast temperature, and burden central opening extent. Numerical orthogonal experiments are thus conducted. Fitting the simulation data yields a set of empirical correlations predicting BF performance indicators. After the fitting accuracy test, the correlations are used for multi-objective optimization and operatable zone identification. 相似文献

Abstract Blast furnace slag, a waste generated in steel plants in India, has been converted into a low cost potential adsorbent. The resulting product has been characterized and used for the removal of zinc and cadmium. The effect of particle size, contact time, and surface loading of zinc and cadmium on the adsorbent for their removal have been studied at the optimum pH (6.0 for Zn2+ and 5.0 for Cd2+). Kinetic studies were undertaken to show the mechanistic aspects of the process and to obtain the thermodynamic parameters. Sorption data have been correlated with both Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption models. Column operations were also performed in an attempt to simulate industrial conditions. Some feasibility experiments have been performed with a view to recovering Zn2+ and Cd2+ and for the chemical regeneration of the spent columns without dismantling them. 相似文献

The aim of this experimental work was to investigate the theological and adhesive performance of gunning mix suspensions.The results of rheological tests indicate that:the rheological curve of gunning mix bonded by high-alumina cement(HACG) is Bingham type;the rheological curve of low cement gunning mix(LCG) bonded by microsilica is characterized by pseudo-plasticity fluid with yielding stress;and the rheological property of low-cement gunning mix bonded by microsilica is proved to be better than that of gunning mix bonded by cement.Meanwhile as indicated by the adhesive teste;the better the rheological properties of gunning mix suspension,the better the repair effect would be. 相似文献
