Abstract— A 40‐in. tiled projection integral imaging system has been implemented, adopting a polarization‐multiplexing technique. The system is composed of two full‐high‐definition (HD) projectors, a time‐varying polarizer, a polarization preserving screen, polarization films, a lens array, and a control unit. An elemental image set is projected using two full‐HD projectors to enhance the resolution of the system. The viewing region of the system is increased by using a polarization switching method. The polarization state of the elemental image set is changed by the time‐varying polarizer, and the elemental image set is diffused by the polarization preserving screen. The elemental image set with a preserved polarization state forms a three‐dimensional image with increased viewing angle by the integration of a lens array with polarization films. A 60‐in. tiled projection integral imaging system was also demonstrated using four full‐HD projectors.  相似文献

Abstract— A high‐resolution autostereoscopic 3‐D projection display with a polarization‐control space dividing the iris‐plane liquid‐crystal shutter is proposed. The polarization‐control iris‐plane shutter can control the direction of stereo images without reducing the image quality of the microdis‐play. This autostereoscopic 3‐D projection display is 2‐D/3‐D switchable and has a high resolution and high luminance. In addition, it has no cross‐talk between the left and right viewing zones, a simple structure, and the capability to show multi‐view images.  相似文献

Abstract— The bottlenecks in achieving high resolution for active‐matrix OLED (AMOLED) displays based on currently available manufacturing processes were evaluated and compared. The use of a shadow mask has proven to be viable for mass production, but the fabrication of high‐precision shadow masks becomes very difficult when the resolution exceeds 180 ppi. The latest breakthrough in increasing display resolution is presented. Without an increase in cost, the limitations of the conventional shadow‐mask process using novel subpixel designs have been successfully overcome. A high resolution reaching of 270 ppi has been successfully demonstrated on a 3‐in. VGA‐format AMOLED display, fabricated by using a shadow mask with a much lower resolution of 135 ppi. This innovative pixel design opens up the possibilities of manufacturing high‐resolution displays using a relatively low‐resolution shadow mask.  相似文献

This paper investigates the synchronization problem of a class of complex dynamical networks via an adaptive control method. It differs from existing works in considering intrinsic delay and multiple different time‐varying coupling delays, and uncertain couplings. A simple approach is used to linearize the uncertainties with the norm‐bounded condition. Simple but suitable adaptive controllers are designed to drive all nodes of the complex network locally and globally synchronize to a desired state. In addition, several synchronization protocols are deduced in detail by virtue of Lyapunov stability theory and a Cauchy matrix inequality. Finally, a simulation example is presented, in which the dynamics of each node are time‐varying delayed Chua chaotic systems, to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive method.  相似文献

This paper describes a Speaker Verification System based on the use of multi resolution classifiers in order to cope with performance degradation due to natural variations of the excitation source and of the vocal tract. The different resolution representations of the speaker are obtained by considering multiple frame lengths in the feature extraction process and from these representations a single Pseudo‐Multi Parallel Branch (P‐MPB) Hidden Markov Model is obtained. In the verification process, different resolution representations of the speech signal are classified by multiple P‐MPB systems: the final decision is obtained by means of different combination techniques. The system based on the Weighted Majority Vote technique considerably outperforms baseline systems: improvements are between 15% and 38%. The execution time of the verification process is also evaluated and it proves to be very acceptable, thus allowing the use of the approach for applications in real time systems.  相似文献

Two simple pixel circuits are proposed for high resolution and high image quality organic light‐emitting diode‐on‐silicon microdisplays. The proposed pixel circuits achieve high resolution due to simple pixel structure comprising three n‐type MOSFETs and one storage capacitor, which are integrated into a unit subpixel area of 3 × 9 µm2 using a 90 nm CMOS process. The proposed pixel circuits improve image quality by compensating for the threshold voltage variation of the driving transistors and extending the data voltage range. To verify the performance of the proposed pixel circuits, the emission currents of 24 pixel circuits are measured. The measured emission current deviation error of the proposed pixel circuits A and B ranges from ?2.59% to +2.78%, and from ?1.86% to +1.84%, respectively, which are improved from the emission current deviation error of the conventional current‐source type pixel circuit when the threshold voltage variation is not compensated for, which ranges from ?14.87% to +14.67%. In addition, the data voltage ranges of the proposed pixel circuits A and B are 1.193 V and 1.792 V, respectively, which are 2.38 and 3.57 times wider than the data voltage range of the conventional current‐source type pixel circuit of 0.501 V.  相似文献

This paper provides a time‐varying feedback alternative to control of finite‐time systems, which is referred to as “prescribed‐time control,” exhibiting several superior features: (i) such time‐varying gain–based prescribed‐time control is built upon regular state feedback rather than fractional‐power state feedback, thus resulting in smooth (Cm) control action everywhere during the entire operation of the system; (ii) the prescribed‐time control is characterized with uniformly prespecifiable convergence time that can be preassigned as needed within the physically allowable range, making it literally different from not only the traditional finite‐time control (where the finite settling time is determined by a system initial condition and a number of design parameters) but also the fixed‐time control (where the settling time is subject to certain constraints and thus can only be specified within the corresponding range); and (iii) the prescribed‐time control relies only on regular Lyapunov differential inequality instead of fractional Lyapunov differential inequality for stability analysis and thus avoids the difficulty in controller design and stability analysis encountered in the traditional finite‐time control for high‐order systems.  相似文献

In this paper, the exponential stability problem is investigated for a class of discrete‐time singular switched systems with time‐varying delay. By using a new Lyapunov functional and average dwell time scheme, a delay‐dependent sufficient condition is established in terms of linear matrix inequalities for the considered system to be regular, causal, and exponentially stable. Different from the existing results, in the considered systems the corresponding singular matrices do not need to have the same rank. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed result.  相似文献

The stability analysis problem is considered for linear discrete‐time systems with time‐varying delays. A novel summation inequality is proposed, which takes the double summation information of the system state into consideration. The inequality relaxes the recently proposed discrete Wirtinger inequality and its improved version. Based on construction of a suitable Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional and the novel summation inequality, an improved delay‐dependent stability criterion for asymptotic stability of the systems is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the advantages of the proposed method.  相似文献

Abstract— An autostereoscopic display that shows stereoscopic images with full‐panel resolution has been developed,1 but it has a problem in terms of unit size. To resolve this problem, a new directional backlight system was developed, and it was applied to a prototype autostereoscopic LCD. The backlight system has two light sources — one for the right eye and the another for the left eye — and an elliptically shaped mirror that controls the direction of light from the light sources. The LCD uses a field‐sequential method which re‐writes an image for one eye and one for the other eye at a frame rate of 120 Hz, and the light sources alternately blink in synchronization with each frame so that the LCD shows full‐panel‐resolution stereoscopic images without flicker. In this paper, the new backlight system is described. The backlight system is effective for large screen such as 23 in. on the diagonal. By using this backlight system, the prototype LCD achieved practible unit size, brightness over the entire screen, and cross‐talk.  相似文献

In this paper, an efficient finite difference method is presented for the solution of time‐delay optimal control problems with time‐varying delay in the state. By using the Pontryagin's maximum principle, the original time‐delay optimal control problem is first transformed into a system of coupled two‐point boundary value problems involving both delay and advance terms. Then the derived system is converted into a system of linear algebraic equations by using a second‐order finite difference formula and a Hermite interpolation polynomial for the first‐order derivatives and delay terms, respectively. The convergence analysis of the proposed approach is provided. The new scheme is also successful for the optimal control of time‐delay systems affected by external persistent disturbances. Numerical examples are included to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the new technique. Some comparative results are included to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

Currently, integrated scheduling algorithms schedule processes using fixed rules, making it difficult to balance serial and parallel processes in product craftsmanship trees while conducting complicated single product scheduling. To solve this problem, we propose a time‐selective integrated scheduling algorithm with a backtracking adaptation (TISAWBA) strategy. The proposed process sequence sorting strategy aims to determine process scheduling sequences based on the overall structure of the machining craftsmanship tree. The proposed time‐selective scheduling strategy aims to select the process portfolio with the minimum total elapsed time for machining from a process portfolio set based on craftsmanship tree structure. The proposed backtracking adaptation strategy conducts backtracking adaptation to find process portfolios having a total elapsed machining time greater than the “scheduling reference time.” Finally, illustrative use cases verify that TISAWBA guarantees parallel processing for parallel processes and elevates the proximity of serial processes, generating optimized integrated scheduling results.  相似文献

An optical approach to increase the pixel density by using a Pancharatnam‐Berry deflector (PBD), which generates two virtual shifted‐pixel grids based on polarization multiplexing, is demonstrated. A three‐layer multi‐twist PBD is fabricated, which can achieve high diffraction efficiency, broad bandwidth, and large incident angle in the visible spectral region.  相似文献

Robust finite‐time stability and stabilization problems for a class of linear uncertain time‐delay systems are studied. The concept of finite‐time stability is extended to linear uncertain time‐delay systems. Based on the Lyapunov method and properties of matrix inequalities, a sufficient condition that ensures finite‐time stability of linear uncertain time‐delay systems is given. By virtue of the results on finite‐time stability, a memoryless state feedback controller that guarantees that the closed‐loop system is finite time stable, is proposed. The controller design problem is solved by using the linear matrix inequalities and the cone complementarity linearization iterative algorithm. Numerical examples verify the efficiency of the proposed methods.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the stability and stabilization problem of a class of discrete‐time switched systems with mode‐dependent average dwell time (MDADT). A novel Lyapunov function, which is both mode‐dependent (MD) and quasi‐time‐dependent (QTD), is established. The new established Lyapunov function is allowed to increase at some certain time instants. A QTD controller is designed such that the system is globally uniformly asymptotically stable (GUAS) and has a guaranteed performance index. The new QTD robust controller designed in this paper is less conservative than the mode independent one which is frequently considered in literatures. Finally, a numerical example and a practical example are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed results.   相似文献

An analytical method is proposed to construct the stabilizing PID region of a retarded‐type time‐delay system, based on Pontryagin's results and a generalization of the Hermite‐Biehler theorem. It is shown that the stable region in the (ki, kd)‐plane is made up of some convex polygons for a fixed kp, and the whole region in the (kp, ki, kd)‐space is comprised of some polyhedrons, each of which is mapped onto a real used string. Additionally, a method for determining the feasible kp‐intervals is given in this paper. Two examples are employed to illustrate and verify the construction procedure of the stabilizing PID region in detail.  相似文献

Abstract— Two pico‐projection systems, a monochrome green and a full‐color system, based on high‐efficiency OLED microdisplays (VGA; pixel size, 12 μm) are presented. Both optical systems are described by a numerical aperture of about 0.3, a magnification of 15x, and a working distance of 300–360 mm. The frequency limit of both systems is 42 cycles/mm at an image contrast of about 60%. The monochrome projection system with a volume smaller than 10 cm3 consists of one green OLED and a projection lens with five elements. The measured luminance in the image plane is about 0.061 lm. The image has a diagonal of 150 mm with a working distance of about 300 mm and has a considerable image contrast of 396:1. The second system combines three high‐brightness OLEDs, red, green, and blue colored, together with a projection lens and an image‐combining element, and an X‐Cube to achieve full‐color projection. The estimated luminance value for the three‐panel projection unit with an OLED luminance of 10,000 cd/m2 for each display will be about Φcalculated = 0.147 lm. In this paper, the system concepts, the optical designs, and the realized prototypes of the monochrome and full‐color projection system are presented.  相似文献

In this paper, the containment control problem is considered for nonlinear multi‐agent systems with directed communication topology. Under the guidance of designed distributed communication protocols with/without previous state information, the followers are expected to converge to a dynamic convex hull spanned by multiple leaders. Two multi‐step algorithms are proposed to construct the corresponding protocols, the state feedback protocol and the delay‐coupled protocol, under which the containment control can be achieved asymptotically. Furthermore, it is found that the delay‐coupled protocol is rather sensitive to time delays. That is, real‐time tracking will become impossible by only using long‐dated previous state information. Finally, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the applicability and efficiency of the proposed schemes.  相似文献

Abstract— We propose a novel data‐line multiplexing technique for low‐cost/high‐resolution active‐matrix liquid‐crystal displays (AMLCDs). This scheme reduces the number of data lines and driver chips required by one‐half without enormous multiplexing circuits. Another advantage of applying this technique is the reduction in power consumption. We demonstrated the technical feasibility of this method with application prototypes up to 15‐in. SXGA+ (1400 × 1050 pixels) AMLCDs with amorphous‐silicon (a‐Si) thin‐film‐transistor (TFT) technology. In this paper, we provide an explanation of the addressing mechanism in detail and clarify the feasibility with further technical discussion.  相似文献

This paper investigates sampled‐data synchronization control of switched neural networks with time‐varying delays under average dwell time. Based on the delay system method, the sampled‐data synchronization system is proposed with time‐varying delays and input delays in the unified framework for switched neural networks. By constructing a suitable Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional and free‐weighting matrix, the relationship between the average dwell time and the maximum sampling interval is revealed to form delay‐dependent exponentially synchronization criteria. The desired mode‐dependent controller under the maximum sampling interval and decay rate is designed. Finally, two numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed techniques.  相似文献
