Various short-timescale transients exist in power electronic converters, particularly in high-voltage and high-power systems. The timescales of these transients are from nanoseconds to microseconds, including a switching transition of power semiconductor devices, commutating processes, and drive signal transmissions. These transient processes directly affect the performance and reliability of power electronic systems. Therefore, it is necessary to study these short-timescale processes. Based on two high-power prototype power converters, a 6000-V/1250-kW three-level adjustable-speed drive and a 10-kW/600-V dc–dc converter, this paper studies the various abnormal behaviors of the converters that occurred during the operation of these converters. Dead bands and accumulated switching errors are also investigated. A combined microscopic pulsed power and macroscopic control strategy was proposed for the design of power electronic converters. Three new concepts for power electronic converters are introduced and validated in this paper: 1) sneak pulse; 2) energy dead band; and 3) transient commutating topology.   相似文献

The operation peculiarities and performance of new millimetric noise source on BWO are described. To increase the interaction efficiency and to extend the operation frequency band the modified vane-type slow-wave structure is proposed to use. Packaged K a-band source provides noise with power spectrum width controlled within 10 - 300 MHz, electronic tunability of the frequency of 10-12% and has the output power up to 18W and electronic efficiency of 5.5%. Electronic tuning of noise frequency has a discontinuities, but the operation frequency band is almost fully covered. To have a possibility to tune the noise power spectrum maximum to the desired frequency both the electronic tuning and mechanical one can be used. Application of the magnet system with focusing magnetic field magnitude up to 4300 G allows to increase output power level and electronic efficiency up to 32 W and 7% respectively.  相似文献

基于单片机AT89C52对单相电子式预付费电度表系统进行了系统的设计,AT89C52单片机为控制核心,预付费电度表的硬件电路包括电能计量电路、控制电路、显示电路、IC卡接口、电能存储器、掉电检测和电源几大模块等组成。电能计量系统是完成电能测量、电能值显示、超负荷断电等功能;预付费系统主要是利用IC卡实现先付费,再用电。前者主要追求可靠性,后者要求安全性高。该系统经过实验,安全可靠,功耗小,成本低,符合设计要求。  相似文献

宽禁带SiC材料被认为是高性能电力电子器件的理想材料,比较了Si和SiC材料的电力电子器件在击穿电场强度、稳定性和开关速度等方面的区别,着重分析了以SiC器件为功率开关的电力电子装置对电力系统中柔性交流输电系统(FACTS)、高压直流输电(HVDC)装置、新能源技术和微电网技术领域的影响。分析表明,SiC电力电子器件具有耐高压、耐高温、开关频率高、损耗小、动态性能优良等特点,在较高电压等级(高于3 kV)或对电力电子装置性能有更高要求的场合,具有良好的应用前景。  相似文献

Switching power supplies have become ubiquitous in electronic modules and systems. From converting power types, power levels, or driving actuators, these power converters embody varying topologies but usually have high switching rates of up to 500 KHz, power devices such as MOSFETs, microelectronic components and a mix of passive components that store and release energy. They are complex modules that have an unfortunate history of observed high failure rates, yet they may be required to support critical systems.Electronic prognostics/health management, or ePHM, provides the ability to predict the failure of the electronic before it actually occurs. Design of multiple-input power converter for hybrid vehicles   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
This paper deals with designing and sizing of a multiple-input power electronic converter (MIPEC) to be used in an electric vehicle propulsion system that includes a fuel cell (FC) generator and a combined storage unit. The combined storage unit is composed by an ultracapacitors tank (UC) and a battery unit (BU). MIPEC is responsible for power-flow management on-board the vehicle for each mode of operation. Specifications for MIPEC designing come out from many considerations concerning traction drive and reference driving cycle, on-board power source and storage unit characteristics. However, to date sizing and configuration of both storage units and on-board generators are directly related to traction drive and driving profile (i.e., vehicle performances and characteristics) and no relation with power electronic interface is considered during preliminary design. Then, power electronic interface is selected in order to fit traction drive requirements with power source and storage unit characteristics; as a consequence converter mode of operation lacks of optimization, as well dynamic behavior and efficiency cannot be maximized. In this paper, MIPEC design and power source and storage unit selection are achieved at the same project stage according to traction drive requirements. Experimental results on 60-kW power electronic interface are presented.  相似文献

An analog CMOS vision chip for edge detection with power consumption below 20 mW was designed by adopting electronic switches. An electronic switch separates the edge detection circuit into two parts: one is a logarithmic compression photocircuit, and the other is a signal processing circuit for edge detection. The electronic switch controls the connection between the two circuits. When the electronic switch is off, it can intercept the current flow through the signal processing circuit and restrict the magnitude of the current flow below several hundred nA. The estimated power consumption of the chip, with 128 × 128 pixels, was below 20 mW. The vision chip was designed using 0.25 µm 1‐poly 5‐metal standard full custom CMOS process technology.  相似文献
