In this paper, we consider the output synchronization problem for heterogeneous networks of right‐invertible linear agents. We assume that all the agents are introspective, meaning that they have access to their own local measurements. Under this assumption, we then propose a decentralized control scheme for solving the output synchronization problem for a set of network topologies. The proposed scheme can also be applied to solve the output formation problem with arbitrary formation vectors. We also consider the regulation of output synchronization problem, where the output of each agent has to track an a priori specified reference trajectory, generated by an exosystem. In this case, we assume that the root agent has access to its own output relative to the reference trajectory.Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper studies the synchronization problem for a network of identical discrete‐time agents with unknown uniform constant communication delay. When the agents are non‐introspective, the problem is solvable via a decentralized low‐gain‐based synchronization controller if the delay satisfies the proposed upper bound. When the agents are introspective, the synchronization problem can be solved with arbitrary bounded communication delay. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper addresses the cooperative output regulation problem of multiagent systems with fixed and switching topologies. Each agent is a heterogeneous linear system, and the output of the exosystem can be available to only a subset of agents. For the agents that can directly access the exosystem, a common observer based on an event‐triggered strategy is constructed to estimate the exogenous signal for feedback control design. For the rest of the agents, estimators based on an event‐triggered mechanism to acquire the estimation value of the exogenous signal are designed under some essential assumptions. A decentralized event‐triggered formulation is considered first by applying a Lyapunov function for a fixed topology. Furthermore, a topology‐dependent triggering condition and the average dwell‐time switching law are deduced simultaneously by using multiple Lyapunov functions for switching topologies. Under communication constraints, we propose observer‐based and estimator‐based feedback controllers to solve the cooperative output regulation problem using available local information among agents. Two examples are finally provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper proposes a control architecture that employs event‐triggered control techniques to achieve output synchronization of a group of heterogeneous linear time‐invariant agents. We associate with each agent an event‐triggered output regulation controller and an event‐triggered reference generator. The event‐triggered output regulation controller is designed such that the regulated output of the agent approximately tracks a reference signal provided by the reference generator in the presence of unknown disturbances. The event‐triggered reference generator is responsible for synchronizing its internal state across all agents by exchanging information through a communication network linking the agents. We first address the output regulation problem for a single agent where we analyze two event‐triggered scenarios. In the first one, the output and input event detectors operate synchronously, meaning that resets are made at the same time instants, while in the second one, they operate asynchronously and independently of each other. It is shown that the tracking error is globally bounded for all bounded reference trajectories and all bounded disturbances. We then merge the results on event‐triggered output regulation with previous results on event‐triggered communication protocols for synchronization of the reference generators to demonstrate that the regulated output of each agent converges to and remains in a neighborhood of the desired reference trajectory and that the closed‐loop system does not exhibit Zeno solutions. Several examples are provided to illustrate the advantages and issues of every component of the proposed control architecture. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

We develop a mixed graph and optimal control theoretic formulation to design a robust cooperative control protocol for a large‐scale multiagent system with partially known interconnected first‐, second‐, or mixed first‐ and second‐order dynamics. In each case, we transform the control protocol design task to a robust communication graph design problem, which, from a cyber‐physical perspective, is interpreted as the control layer design problem for an interconnected system with unknown agent layer dynamics. According to this viewpoint, each state variable has its own control layer communication topology separate from the other state variable's communication topology and the unknown agent layer interconnection topologies. We prove that all cooperative, decentralized, and centralized tracking protocols can be treated as a single design problem and, by deriving closed‐form solutions for the robust control layer topologies, we further provide a simpler design procedure, which is only based on the matrix manipulations. Aside from the linear implementation of the protocol and the connection of the proposed formulation to the well known rules‐of‐thumb in optimal control theory, this creates a higher potential to transfer ideas to industry. Modeling uncertainties tolerable by a given control layer topology is analyzed, and a preliminary performance‐oriented analysis and design approach for large‐scale interconnected systems is discussed. We show that exactly the same steps can be followed to design appropriate control layers for both tracking and stabilization.  相似文献

Robust controller design for a flow control problem where uncertain multiple time‐varying time‐delays exist is considered. Although primarily data‐communication networks are considered, the presented approach can also be applied to other flow control problems and can even be extended to other control problems where uncertain multiple time‐varying time‐delays exist. Besides robustness, tracking and fairness requirements are also considered. To solve this problem, an ?? optimization problem is set up and solved. Unlike previous approaches, where only a suboptimal solution could be found, the present approach allows to design an optimal controller. Simulation studies are carried out in order to illustrate the time‐domain performance of the designed controllers. The obtained results are also compared to the results of a suboptimal controller obtained by an earlier approach. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel decentralized robust adaptive fuzzy control scheme is proposed for a class of large‐scale multiple‐input multiple‐output uncertain nonlinear systems. By virtue of fuzzy logic systems and the regularized inverse matrix, the decentralized robust indirect adaptive fuzzy controller is developed such that the controller singularity problem is addressed under a united design framework; no a priori knowledge of the bounds on lumped uncertainties are being required. The closed‐loop large‐scale system is proved to be asymptotically stable. Simulation results confirmed the validity of the approach presented. Copyright © 2011 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper presents the finite‐time attitude synchronization and tracking control method of undirected multi‐spacecraft formation with external disturbances. First, a modified adaptive nonsingular fast terminal sliding mode surface (ANFTSMS) is designed by introducing a user‐defined function, both of which avoid the singularity problem and continuous sliding surface, and, therefore, can freely adjust relative weighting between angular velocity error and attitude error adaptively, such that the controller can provide sufficient maneuvers and precision. This provides designers with a new technique to adjust and improve formation control performance. Second, by applying the ANFTSMS associated with adaptation, two proposed decentralized ANFTSM‐controllers provide finite‐time convergence, robustness to disturbance, and chattering free for continuous design. Finally, simulation results validate the proposed algorithms.  相似文献

This paper presents an approximation design for a decentralized adaptive output‐feedback control of large‐scale pure‐feedback nonlinear systems with unknown time‐varying delayed interconnections. The interaction terms are bounded by unknown nonlinear bounding functions including unmeasurable state variables of subsystems. These bounding functions together with the algebraic loop problem of virtual and actual control inputs in the pure‐feedback form make the output‐feedback controller design difficult and challenging. To overcome the design difficulties, the observer‐based dynamic surface memoryless local controller for each subsystem is designed using appropriate Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functionals, the function approximation technique based on neural networks, and the additional first‐order low‐pass filter for the actual control input. It is shown that all signals in the total controlled closed‐loop system are semiglobally uniformly bounded and control errors converge to an adjustable neighborhood of the origin. Finally, simulation examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed decentralized control scheme. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A new controller synthesis technique enabling the design of control systems satisfying prescribed structural constraints as well as stability and performance specifications given in terms of integral quadratic constraints (IQC) is presented. The proposed approach relies on a nonsmooth optimization technique to solve the IQC feasibility problem directly in the frequency domain. As corroborated by the two numerical examples presented, the technique allows the synthesis of control laws of great practical utility (eg, PID, decentralized, and reduced‐order output feedback controllers) for a large class of systems presenting, for example, slope‐restricted nonlinearities, time‐varying delays, and uncertain parameters with bounded rates of variation.  相似文献

Without assuming that the mobile agents can communicate with their neighbors all the time, the consensus problem of multi‐agent systems with general linear node dynamics and a fixed directed topology is investigated. To achieve consensus, a new class of distributed protocols designed based only on the intermittent relative information are presented. By using tools from matrix analysis and switching systems theory, it is theoretically shown that the consensus in multi‐agent systems with a periodic intermittent communication and directed topology containing a spanning tree can be cast into the stability of a set of low‐dimensional switching systems. It is proved that there exists a protocol guaranteeing consensus if each agent is stabilizable and the communication rate is larger than a threshold value. Furthermore, a multi‐step intermittent consensus protocol design procedure is provided. The consensus algorithm is then extended to solve the formation control problem of linear multi‐agent systems with intermittent communication constraints as well as the consensus tracking problem with switching directed topologies. Finally, some numerical simulations are provided to verify the effectiveness of the theoretical results. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of formation control is considered for a class of unknown nonaffine nonlinear multiagent systems under a repeatable operation environment. To achieve the formation objective, the unknown nonlinear agent's dynamic is first transformed into a compact form dynamic linearization model along the iteration axis. Then, a distributed model‐free adaptive iterative learning control scheme is designed to ensure that all agents can keep their desired deviations from the reference trajectory over the whole time interval. The main results are given for the multiagent systems with fixed communication topologies and the extension to the switching topologies case is also discussed. The feature of this design is that formation control can be solved only depending on the input/output data of each agent. An example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, distributed leader–follower control algorithms are presented for linear multi‐agent systems based on output regulation theory and internal model principle. By treating a leader to be followed as an exosystem, the proposed framework can be used to generalize existing multi‐agent coordination solutions to allow the identical agents to track an active leader with different dynamics and unmeasurable variables. Moreover, the obtained results for multi‐agent coordination control are an extension of previous work on centralized and decentralized output regulation to a distributed control context. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the distributed output regulation problem are given. Finally, distributed output regulation of some classes of multi‐agent systems with switching interconnection topologies are discussed via both static and dynamic feedback. This paper investigates the problem of robust ?? static output feedback controller design for a class of discrete‐time piecewise‐affine systems with norm‐bounded time‐varying parametric uncertainties. The objective is to design a piecewise‐linear static output feedback controller guaranteeing the asymptotic stability of the resulting closed‐loop system with a prescribed ?? disturbance attenuation level. Based on a piecewise Lyapunov function combined with S‐procedure, Projection lemma, and some matrix inequality convexifying techniques, several novel approaches to the static output feedback controller analysis and synthesis are developed for the underlying piecewise‐affine systems. It is shown that the controller gains can be obtained by solving a set of strict linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) or a family of LMIs parameterized by one or two scalar variables, which are numerically efficient with commercially available software. Finally, three simulation examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approaches. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the problem of designing a time‐delay output feedback controller for master‐slave synchronization of Lur'e systems. The time delay is divided into two intervals and different energy functions are defined in each interval, which together provide a new Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and derive a new delay‐dependent synchronization criterion. A sufficient condition for the existence of such a feedback controller is given, and an explicit expression of such a controller is also achieved. These algorithms are formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities that can be solved easily. Chua's circuit is used to illustrate the effectiveness of the design method.  相似文献

This paper studies state synchronization of homogeneous time‐varying networks with diffusive full‐state coupling or partial‐state coupling. In the case of full‐state coupling, linear agents as well as a class of nonlinear time‐varying agents are considered. In the case of partial‐state coupling, we only consider linear agents, but, in contrast with the literature, we do not require the agents in the network to be minimum phase or at most weakly unstable. In both cases, the network is time‐varying in the sense that the network graph switches within an infinite set of graphs with arbitrarily small dwell time. A purely decentralized linear static protocol is designed for agents in the network with full‐state coupling. For partial‐state coupling, a linear dynamic protocol is designed for agents in the network while using additional communication among controller variables using the same network. In both cases, the design is based on a high‐gain methodology. Copyright © 2017 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Time‐varying output formation control problems for linear multi‐agent systems with switching topologies are studied, where two types of switching topologies are considered: (1) the topology is undirected and jointly connected, and 2) each topology is directed and has a spanning tree. An output formation protocol under switching topologies is constructed using the outputs of neighboring agents via dynamic output feedback. Two algorithms are proposed to design the dynamic protocols under both jointly connected topologies and switching directed topologies. Time‐varying output formation feasibility conditions are given to describe the compatible relationship among the desired time‐varying output formation, the dynamics of each agent, and the switching topologies. The stability of the closed‐loop multi‐agent systems under the proposed two algorithms is investigated based on the common Lyapunov functional theory and the piecewise Lyapunov functional theory, respectively. In the case where the topologies are jointly connected, time‐varying output formation can be achieved for multi‐agent systems using the designed protocol if the given time‐varying output formation satisfies the feasible constraint. For the case where the switching topologies are directed and have a spanning tree, the time‐varying output formation can be realized if the output formation feasibility constraint is satisfied and the dwell time is larger than a positive threshold. Moreover, approaches to determine the output formation references are provided to describe the macroscopic movement of the time‐varying output formation. Finally, numerical simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The state/output feedback topology required for bumpless transfer under controller uncertainty is considered. A steady‐state diagonal dominance condition for a subsystem of this topology is derived, which is shown to be sufficient for the existence of the stabilizing decentralized mismatch compensator parameters. Recent results on the input/output steady‐state gain structure of the one‐degree‐of‐freedom and the two‐degrees‐of‐freedom infinite horizon LQ bumpless transfer topologies are used to show that the diagonal dominance condition applies to topologies generated by a broad class of controllers, thus completing the state/output feedback bumpless transfer technique. The topologies are also shown to be robust with respect to uncertainty in the mismatch compensator. Copyright © 2008 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, a low‐complexity robust estimation‐free decentralized prescribed performance control scheme is proposed and analyzed for nonaffine nonlinear large‐scale systems in the presence of unknown nonlinearity and external disturbance. To tackle the high‐order dynamics of each tracking error subsystem, a time‐varying stable manifold involving the output tracking error and its high‐order derivatives is constructed, which is strictly evolved within the envelope of user‐specialized prescribed performance. Sequentially, a robust decentralized controller is devised for each manifold, under which the output tracking error and its high‐order derivatives are proven to converge asymptotically to a small residual domain with prescribed fast convergence rate. Additionally, no specialized approximation technique, adaptive scheme, and disturbance observer are needed, which alleviates the complexity and difficulty of robust decentralized controller design dramatically. Finally, 3 groups of illustrative examples are used to validate the effectiveness of the proposed low‐complexity robust decentralized control scheme for uncertain nonaffine nonlinear large‐scale systems.  相似文献
