Conclusions Double-staged dust-extraction equipment based on NIIOGAZ cyclones of the type TsN-24 and electric filters PGDS-73-3 situated behind a rotary furnace (diameter 3.6 and length 90 m) for firing magnesite facilitated operations without a break in the health-safety norms for dust extraction.The optimum gas velocity in the cyclones in which their efficiency was about 90% is 7 m/sec. In this case there was no wear of the active part of the cyclones.The efficiency of the electric filter largely depends on the dust load on entry. With a reduction in the input dust concentration from 25.3 to 9.5 g/Nm3 the residual dust concentration is respectively reduced from 0.240 to 0.143 g/Nm3 with a water concentration in the raw material fed into the furnace of 1.2%.An increase in the moisture content of the raw materials to 2.5% causes a reduction in the resistivity of the dust from 1013 to 7·1011 ·cm, and there is partial suppression of the back corona in the electric filter, as a result of which the residual dust concentration diminishes to 0.062 g/Nm3 which is less by a factor of 2 or more than the health-safety norms.Translated from Ogneupory, No. 7, pp. 18–25, July, 1970.  相似文献

Conclusions A technology was developed for obtaining refractory powder from extracted caustic magnesite dust. The method includes solution in water of the sulfates, hydration of magnesia, thickening and filtration of the slurry, mixing the cake with dry magnesite dust, briqueting the mixture, and firing the briquet.The technology eliminates contamination by sulfates of the surroundings and clogging of the surfaces of the pipes in waste heat boilers, and yields from the caustic dust a dense powder for making refractory magnesite products, and enables us to utilize sulfates.Translated from Ogneupory, No. 4, pp. 11–16, April, 1981.  相似文献

Silicon carbide-based filter elements were catalytically activated to provide filter elements for catalytic tar removal from biomass-derived syngas. The filter element support was coated with CeO2, CaO–Al2O3 and MgO with a specific surface of 7.4, 15.9 and 21.9 m2/g synthesized by exo-templating with activated carbon. Doping of a MgO coated filter element with 60 wt% NiO has led to an increase of the specific surface from 0.15 to 0.21 m2/g, whereas in case of a MgO–Al2O3 coated filter element a decrease from 1.18 to 0.91 m2/g was found. An increase of the NiO loading from 6 to 60 wt% on a MgO coated filter element resulted in an increase of the naphthalene conversion from 91 to 100% at 800 °C and a face velocity of 2.5 cm/s at a naphthalene concentration of 5 g/Nm3 in model biomass gasification gas. In case of a MgO–Al2O3 coated filter element with 60 wt% NiO in addition to complete naphthalene conversion in the absence of H2S, a higher conversion of 66% was found in the presence of 100 ppmv H2S compared to 49% of the MgO–NiO coated filter element. After scaling up of the catalytic activation procedure to a 1520 mm long filter candle, which shows an acceptable differential pressure of 54.9 mbar, 58 and 97% naphthalene conversion was achieved in the presence and absence of H2S, respectively. The calculated WHSV value of 209.6 Nm3 h−1 kg−1 indicates the technical feasibility of a further increase of the catalytic performance by an increase of the NiO loading.  相似文献

Conclusions The wear resistance of wall blocks tamped from magnesite-chrome brick waste after service is not inferior to those made of magnesite powder.Ground chrome-magneslte and magnesite-chrome waste after service may also be used to make different furnace parts (channels, pseudo baffles, loading window covers, and so on).The use of the waste will make it possible to reduce the consumption of metallurgical magnesite powder.  相似文献
