为研究各因子对正比计数管探测低能X射线时性能的影响,利用MCNP5软件计算了不同光子能量下管内气体种类、气体压强及壁效应、放置距离等因素对探测器探测效率的响应情况。结果表明正比计数管探测器对10~30 ke V X射线探测效率最佳;且在探测低能X射线时,正比计数管应尽可能靠近源项,同时管内最佳气体压强在1.515×105~2.02×105Pa之间。 相似文献

研究单个初电子在正比计数管中产生的脉冲高度分布不仅对研究探测器本身有着重要意义,而且在其他方面也有许多重要应用。这项工作可以帮助我们了解正比计数管的探测机制,单纯研究充气正比计数管中气体放大倍数的涨落。 值得注意的是,这项工作最近几年又成为一种新发展起来的高灵敏检测技术——共振电离光谱技术与正比计数管结合起来检测单个原子的不可缺少的一部分。 一些研究者认为,单个初电子在正比计数管中产生的脉冲高度分布具有简单的指数衰减曲线的形状,另一些人的实验结果却表明单个电子的脉冲高度分布曲线具有峰结构。 相似文献

37Ar是地下核爆确定的、明确的指示剂,目前已经被CTBTO确定为现场视察的核查核素.中国工程物理研究院核物理与化学研究所研制了适合现场视察的37Ar探测系统--移动式37Ar快速探测系统(Movable 37Ar Rapid Detection System,MARDS),该系统采用LLC方法(Low Level Decay Counting)测量37Ar的活度.目前国际上尚无37Ar活度测量的标准装置,因此开展37Ar活度比对测量是一项很有必要的工作.本文介绍了我所(中国工程物理研究院核物理与化学研究所,INPC)与瑞士伯尔尼大学大气与环境物理研究所(KUP)开展的37Ar活度比对测量工作.比对测量的结果说明MARDS测量37Ar活度的方法和结果有很高的可信度,为MARDS系统应用于现场视察提供了技术支持. 相似文献

The relation between exposure rate and energy loss of secondary electrons in the sensitive volume of a plastic wall counter was derived. The possibilities presented by a proportional counter for use in dosimetry were examined for the case of a combination of polyethylene wall and methane gas. Absolute measurement was found possible by calibration of the observed pulse-height distribution. It was also shown that low exposure rates could be effectively measured with counters provided with small sensitive volume. The characteristics of the counter when used as dosimeter proved very close to those of an ionization chamber. 相似文献

A PIXE (particle induced X-ray emission) method for analyzing impurities in solid materials was developed using a crystal spectrometer combined with a position sensitive proportional counter (PSPC). Numerical expressions for quantitative analysis of impurities by this method are established. This technique was applied to the nondestructive measurement of P in a-Si matrix. The concentration of P obtained in this method is 0.717%, which is consistent with the value of 0.68% deduced from the Auger electron spectroscopy. 相似文献
