In this paper, we introduce a modified optimal control model of drug scheduling in cancer chemotherapy and a new adaptive elitist-population-based genetic algorithm (AEGA) to solve it. Working closely with an oncologist, we first modify the existing model, because its equation for the cumulative drug toxicity is inconsistent with medical knowledge and clinical experience. To explore multiple efficient drug scheduling policies, we propose a novel variable representation--a cycle-wise representation, and modify the elitist genetic search operators in the AEGA. The simulation results obtained by the modified model match well with the clinical treatment experiences, and can provide multiple efficient solutions for oncologists to consider. Moreover, it has been shown that the evolutionary drug scheduling approach is simple, and capable of solving complex cancer chemotherapy problems by adapting multimodal versions of evolutionary algorithms.  相似文献

Analytical modeling of channel potential of SOI MESFET can be obtained by solving Poisson's equation to derive an expression for channel potential. Superposition method is an accurate technique for solving Poisson's equation, in which the solution of the 2-D Poisson's equation is represented as the sum of the 1-D Poisson's equation and a 2-D Laplace's equation solutions. In the existing models applying this method, the authors tried to solve 2-D Laplace's equation by using approximations [1] or modifying the boundary conditions [2] producing inaccurate results. In this report, a new methodology is applied to develop a modified analytical model for the channel potential of fully depleted SOI MESFET's, in which the drawbacks of the previous models are significantly eliminated. Using this model, the subthreshold performance of the device including channel potential, threshold voltage, drain current, and subthreshold swing under various conditions have been studied, plotted, and compared with TCAD simulation and experimental results. It is concluded the proposed model has been improved in term of accuracy compared to other existing models.  相似文献

采用有限体积法计算了微尺度矩形通道中气体的三维流动,在计算中考虑了气体稀薄效应所造成的壁面相对滑移和气体的可压缩性。计算结果表明,由于壁面上存在着速度的相对滑移,壁面摩擦系数显著减小,质量流量明显加大。尽管微尺度通道中气流的马赫数通常都很小,但是气体的压缩性影响仍然不能忽略,质量流量随压力比的增大而非线性增长。  相似文献

The problem of a charged particle moving in an arbitrary prescribed trajectory near a perfectly conducting sphere is formulated in terms of the magnetic-field integral equation on the sphere. The integral equation is solved with the aid of the solutions of the associated eigenvalue problem. A detailed study of the canonical problem, where the charged particle moves around a sphere in a circular orbit, reveals that a sufficiently accurate solution can be obtained by solving two independent quasi-static problems. Validity criteria are established for the quasi-static solutions in terms of the particle's speed and distance from the sphere. These quasi-static problems can be easily generalized and solved for particles of arbitrary motion and conductors of arbitrary shape. Induced surface currents and charges on the sphere as well as the rate of energy loss of the charged particles are calculated.  相似文献

The interior resonance problem that can occur when using a hybrid finite-element method/method of moments (FEM/MoM) method to model electromagnetic scattering problems is investigated. Calculations of the bistatic radar cross section of a coated dielectric sphere are presented using different formulations, solution approaches, and solvers. The solutions using the electric-field integral equation have significant errors near an interior resonance frequency. When the combined-field integral equation is employed, satisfactory solutions can be obtained that do not depend on the particular solution approach or solver.  相似文献

A study of electromagnetic resonances of an isotropic chiral sphere is presented. The characteristic equation of a chiral sphere, which is complex and transcendental, is obtained by forming solutions of the electromagnetic field for a chiral sphere in terms of the spherical vector wave functions. The characteristic equation is solved by using a computer. Resonant frequencies and Q factors of the first few modes for relative permittivities of two and ten are reported and discussed. These modes are hybrid modes. They are classed as either hybrid electric (HE) modes or hybrid magnetic (HM) modes. Chirality is observed to have a significant effect on the resonances of a sphere.  相似文献

A new SPICE subcircuit model for power p-i-n diodes is proposed in this paper. The model is based on a moment-matching approximation of the ambipolar diffusion equation. It is shown that both the quasistatic model and the lumped charge model can be obtained as ion-order moment-matching approximations while new and more accurate models can be obtained from higher-order solutions. The proposed model takes into account emitter recombination in the highly doped end regions, conductivity modulation in the base and the moving-boundaries effect during reverse-recovery, showing good convergence properties and fast simulation times. Comparisons between the results of the SPICE model and both numerical device simulations and experimental results are presented  相似文献

近年来,变系数非线性发展方程受到越来越多的被关注。2008年王明亮等提出了一种新的方法,即(G'/G)展开法。将(G'/G)展开法首次尝试应用到变系数非线性发展方程中,并以广义变系数Burgers方程为例,最终成功得到了在系数满足一定条件时新的精确解;然后又尝试将该展开法进行新的扩展,再一次对广义变系数Burgers方程求解,又成功得到了一些新解。实践证明,该展开法不仅易于求解常系数非线性发展方程,而且对变系数非线性发展方程仍很高效、简洁、实用,并且具有广泛的应用前景。  相似文献

A perturbed nonlinear Schrodinger equation, describing nonlinear pulse propagation of femtosecond duration in optical fibers at the zero dispersion point, is considered. This equation is reduced to an ordinary differential equation, which is treated by means of Hamiltonian dynamics techniques. Conditions for solitary wave formation, as well as the solutions themselves, namely, a bright soliton, a rarefaction soliton, and a pair of dark solitons, are derived analytically. The shifts of the solitary wave velocity, the angular frequency, and the wavenumber, as well as the peak power required to launch a bright soliton are also obtained. The connection among the point initial conditions of the pulse and the type of solitary wave that can be excited is finally presented  相似文献

A macroscopic transport model for the hot electron subpopulation (HES) and a nonlocal impact ionization (II) model were proposed in Part I of this article: see ibid. p. 1200, 1994. The transport equations have been derived from the Boltzmann transport equation (BTE) and closure has been provided by an empirically determined equation. The transport equations and the II model have been calibrated using data obtained from self-consistent Monte Carlo (SCMC) simulations. In this article we present the numerical solutions obtained by applying the proposed model to n+- n--n+ structures with various doping profiles. A new method of analysis for pulse-width modulation (PWM) switching power converters is presented. It allows one to find an approximate periodic solution for the converter vector state variable. The converter is modelled by a differential equation with periodic coefficients. This equation is substituted by an equivalent system of linear differential equations with constant coefficients. Only the forced (steady-state) solutions should be found for each equation of this system. The equations are solved in sequence. The final steady-state solution of the PWM differential equation is obtained as the sum of these forced solutions. The method allows one to find the converter dc transfer function and efficiency, to evaluate their frequency dependences, and to find the critical frequency and ripple. The first three equations of the equivalent system are usually adequate for practical purposes, and these equations are obtained by an easy formal procedure. One can also obtain the dynamic equation of the state variable dc component, and calculate the converter line to output and duty cycle to output transfer functions. A boost converter is used as an example to confirm the analytical results by numerical simulation.  相似文献

A parameterized multifrequency-polarization surface emission model   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
This study develops a parameterized bare surface emission model for the applications in analyses of the passive microwave satellite measurements from the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer-Earth Observing System (AMSR-E). We first evaluated the capability of the advanced integral equation model (AIEM) in simulating wide-band and high-incidence surface emission signals in comparison with INRA's field experimental data obtained in 1993. The evaluation results showed a very good agreement. With the confirmed confidence, we generated a bare surface emission database for a wide range of surface dielectric and roughness properties under AMSR-E sensor configurations using the AIEM model. Through the evaluations of the commonly used semiempirical models with both the AIEM simulated and the field experimental data, we developed a parameterized multifrequency-polarization surface emission model-the Qp model. This model relates the effects of the surface roughness on the emission signals through the roughness variable Qp at the polarization p. The Qp can be simply described as a single-surface roughness property-the ratio of the surface rms height and the correlation length. The comparison of the emissivity simulations by the Qp and AIEM models indicated that the absolute error is extremely small at the magnitude of 10/sup -3/. The newly developed surface emission model should be very useful in modeling, improving our understanding, analyses, and predictions of the AMSR-E measurements.  相似文献
