First generation reliability and maintainability computer-aided engineering (R&M CAE) tools for electronic development items consist of design analysis functions generally derived from existing CAE simulation and other software. The role of design analysis is to reduce the uncertainty of the estimated R&M predictions by uncovering potential problems in time for them to be corrected. This paper discusses the applicability of design analysis tools throughout the item development cycle. Generic tool types and their parent CAE software are identified and the status of their availability discussed.  相似文献

随着EDA平台服务趋于网络化,如何通过对资源和流程的有效管理,为用户提供更为方便安全的远程EDA平台调用服务,已成为关键问题。在FPGA开发平台上集成了EDA工具环境,并部署SGD软件。在实现远程控制的基础上构建一个可兼容异构系统的EDA工具远程调用接口,解决了EDA工具的远程启动和图形界面传输问题,得到一种相对简单方便又有一定安全保障的远程控制模式,实现可视化的在线虚拟集成电路芯片设计。  相似文献

针对电网信息采集要求,结合计算机技术、网络技术和远程监控技术,采用Visual Studio 2010开发软件和SQL Server 2008数据库,设计了基于Web的电网参数监测与管理系统。该系统对监测仪进行实时监控,获得数据信息,存储到数据库服务器,并进行处理分析,得到各个电网监测点的运行情况,为改善电网电能质量提供了有力的保障。现场应用表明,该系统具有较高的可行性、可靠性与实时性。  相似文献

针对当前相同软件被重复安装在不同计算机中,造成磁盘空间浪费、计算机运行速度减慢和引起软件版权纠纷的现状,提出利用基于OGSA体系结构的最新网格开发工具GT4构建一个网格平台,结合远程桌面连接技术,实现远程软件共享和各软件服务器的动态负载平衡。论述了通过在软件服务器端部署WebService,将软件服务器集成到网格中,并在网格平台上配置CA服务器、UDDI服务器和建立网格门户。利用CA服务器进行用户身份和操作权限的验证;利用UDDI服务器实现服务统一描述、注册、发布和调用;利用网格门户给用户提供统一的软件调用界面。最后给出整个系统实现和试用效果。  相似文献

Newly measured data for the loss of microstrip on 4 mil GaAs from DC to 40 GHz are presented. These data were taken from transmission measurements of lightly coupled, multiple-half-wave-length resonators. A comparison of the loss data with the predicted losses from three popular CAE (computer-aided engineering) tools is provided. The loss models provided by two out of three software vendors agree fairly well with measured data through 40 GHz. Since the measured loss roughly follows a square-law frequency relationship through 20 GHz, it should be possible to adjust the loss below this frequency and above 1 GHz by modifying the resistivity of the conductor in the simulator  相似文献

The emerging grid computing technologies enable bioinformatics scientists to conduct their researches in a virtual laboratory, in which they share public databases, computational tools as well as their analysis workflows. However, the development of grid applications is still a nightmare for general bioinformatics scientists, due to the lack of grid programming environments, standards and high-level services. Here, we present a system, which we named Bioinformatics: Ask Any Questions (BAAQ), to automate this development procedure as much as possible. BAAQ allows scientists to store and manage remote biological data and programs, to build analysis workflows that integrate these resources seamlessly, and to discover knowledge from available resources. This paper addresses two issues in building grid applications in bioinformatics: how to smoothly compose an analysis workflow using heterogeneous resources and how to efficiently discover and re-use available resources in the grid community. Correspondingly an intelligent grid programming environment and an active solution recommendation service are proposed. Finally, we present a case study applying BAAQ to a bioinformatics problem.  相似文献

The Electronic Design Interchange Format (EDIF), now in its second revision and paving the way for universal data exchange among CAE tools, is examined. Translators can convert data files from a given design tool into EDIF as a standard format and from EDIF into the form needed by another design tool. The benefits of using EDIF for design capture tools, design analysis tools, and logic synthesizers are discussed. High-throughput biological imaging uses automated imaging devices to collect a large number of microscopic images for analysis of biological systems and validation of scientific hypotheses. Efficient manipulation of these datasets for knowledge discovery requires high-performance computational resources, efficient storage, and automated tools for extracting and sharing such knowledge among different research sites. Newly emerging grid technologies provide powerful means for exploiting the full potential of these imaging techniques. Efficient utilization of grid resources requires the development of knowledge-based tools and services that combine domain knowledge with analysis algorithms. In this paper, we first investigate how grid infrastructure can facilitate high-throughput biological imaging research, and present an architecture for providing knowledge-based grid services for this field. We identify two levels of knowledge-based services. The first level provides tools for extracting spatiotemporal knowledge from image sets and the second level provides high-level knowledge management and reasoning services. We then present cellular imaging markup language, an extensible markup language-based language for modeling of biological images and representation of spatiotemporal knowledge. This scheme can be used for spatiotemporal event composition, matching, and automated knowledge extraction and representation for large biological imaging datasets. We demonstrate the expressive power of this formalism by means of different examples and extensive experimental results.  相似文献

In this paper, we present the development of a remote server that provides a user-friendly access to advanced electrocardiographic (ECG) signal processing techniques. The prototype supplies telemedicine facilities to doctors for clinical indexes remote computation to support diagnosis through the Internet. The user-friendly interface is based on the selection of the desired ECG signal processing tools on a Web browser window. The centralized structure of the system permits unique and user-independent update and management of the software and, therefore, is especially suitable for remote or rural regions to have access to the new ECG information techniques.  相似文献

Remote laboratories are laboratories where the hardware devices are accessible through the Internet 24 h a day for running experiments on physical processes. These laboratories are commonly used as complementary tools in engineering education, allowing students to integrate theoretical notions with practical experiments without the necessity of being physically present inside a laboratory. The increased availability of experiments in a remote laboratory is certainly an advantage for students, but it implies an increase of the probability of hardware and software failures. Thus, maintaining physical processes in a remote laboratory may become a heavy task for laboratory administrators. Remote laboratory inefficiency due to hardware and software maintenance can be certainly reduced if the time that is required for software reinstallation and/or upgrade is kept as short as possible. In this paper, a technique based on the use of a bootable (live) device on the server side of a remote laboratory is reported. This solution, which, in principle, can be used in almost any remote laboratory, allows an administrator to greatly reduce the time that is needed to fix a hardware/software failure, as well as to add a new process to the laboratory in a faster way. Moreover, the use of such a tool will also increase the reliability of the entire laboratory. The application of the proposed method to the ldquoAutomatic Control Telelab,rdquo which is a remote laboratory that was developed at the University of Siena, is also described in detail.  相似文献

We present a study on the formalization of software specification written in natural language, more precisely on the translation from natural language to conceptual representation of texts which specify ISDN supplementary services. The paper focuses on a methodology to build the terminological base kernel, usually called the domain ontology, from the corpus. The methodology and its basic principles will be described, with a tool supporting it. Finally it will be shown how the resulting kernel can be enriched by texts through a semantic natural language processing.  相似文献

This paper describes the current evolution of the telelaboratory facilities at the University of Pisa. In particular, starting from a standard environment providing remote access to a set of experiments, the telelaboratory is now organized as a collection of learning objects, i.e., modular didactic units designed following specific learning objectives within control systems and robotic fields. The telelaboratory has a remote web-based access which can be used both as a simulation environment and as a remote way of performing real physical experiments. The developed telelaboratory is based on free open-source software such as Scilab/Scicos, Comedi, and Real-Time Application Interface patch for Linux kernels. In-house software tools, such as a Java wEb Hyper modUlar inTerface sYstem, graphic environment tools, and a virtual laboratory interface based on Java applets, have been developed as a support for the learning process.   相似文献

Customer service support is an important operation for most multinational manufacturing companies. With the advancement of internet technologies, customer services nowadays are supported through web-based systems. More recently, rapid development of the semantic web and semantic web services has prompted us to develop a semantic help-desk for supporting customer services over the semantic web environment, which is presented in this paper. In particular, a fuzzy formal concept analysis (FCA)-based approach is developed for automatic generation of fuzzy machine service ontology that can deal with uncertain information. The proposed automatic fuzzy ontology generation technique consists of the following steps: fuzzy formal concept analysis, fuzzy conceptual clustering, and ontology generation. As such, the supporting machine services provided by the proposed system will potentially improve customer satisfaction in terms of reducing machine down time and increasing productivity. In this paper, an experiment has also been conducted for performance evaluation. The experimental result shows that the proposed approach has attained good performance in terms of both accuracy and efficiency when the queries are associated with appropriate membership values, and a suitable confident threshold is set.  相似文献
