We describe a method in which holograms can be produced by calculation from images captured by integral photography (IP). We present a basic algorithm obtained by simulating IP reconstruction, in which conditions are set so as not to cause aliasing in the holograms after the calculations. To reduce the calculation load, we also propose a way to limit the range of calculation considering the distribution of light and a way to shift the optical field on the exit plane of microlenses in a lens array. Finally, by optical experiments, we confirm that three-dimensional images can be reconstructed from holograms calculated from an integral photograph of a real object captured with an IP camera.  相似文献

When one illuminates a computer-generated hologram by a plane wave, the obtained two-dimensional image is usually displayed on a planar plane. Other possibilities for reconstructing images on arbitrary curved surfaces are discussed herein. 研究了火焰的重建,为改进现有稀疏视角输入下的层析成像算法的重建精度,提出了一种基于图像的启发式火焰重建方法。该重建方法通过迭代优化求解能量约束模型,实现对火焰三维温度场的重建。算法允许复杂的成像模型应用于重建过程中,使渲染过程更接近火焰真实成像过程,并对数据平滑性进行约束,以提高重建结果质量。算法在迭代过程中使用启发式规则引导温度场数据调整,使算法快速收敛,并通过使用图形处理器加速重建过程。使用模拟数据和真实捕获数据进行实验,结果表明,与现有方法相比,提出的方法有效提高了重建结果的精度及平滑性,验证了提出方法的有效性。  相似文献

A method for numerical reconstruction of digitally recorded holograms with variable magnification is presented. The proposed strategy allows for smaller, equal, or larger magnification than that achieved with Fresnel transform by introducing the Bluestein substitution into the Fresnel kernel. The magnification is obtained independent of distance, wavelength, and number of pixels, which enables the method to be applied in color digital holography and metrological applications. The approach is supported by experimental and simulation results in digital holography of objects of comparable dimensions with the recording device and in the reconstruction of holograms from digital in-line holographic microscopy.  相似文献

We present the results of applying lossless and lossy data compression to a three-dimensional object reconstruction and recognition technique based on phase-shift digital holography. We find that the best lossless (Lempel-Ziv, Lempel-Ziv-Welch, Huffman, Burrows-Wheeler) compression rates can be expected when the digital hologram is stored in an intermediate coding of separate data streams for real and imaginary components. The lossy techniques are based on subsampling, quantization, and discrete Fourier transformation. For various degrees of speckle reduction, we quantify the number of Fourier coefficients that can be removed from the hologram domain, and the lowest level of quantization achievable, without incurring significant loss in correlation performance or significant error in the reconstructed object domain.  相似文献

Let three projected images of a set of lines in space be given. Then, in general, the relative positions of the lines can be reconstructed uniquely up to a collineation of space. Reconstruction fails to be unique for certain critical sets of lines. It is known that each critical set is parameterised by a Bordiga surface in 4. A new proof of this result is given. In addition, it is shown that every Bordiga surface parameterises a critical set of lines. The proof involves an explicit construction of the second or spurious set of lines which projects down to the same three images as the veridical set of lines.  相似文献

A novel method of using stereoscopic video images to synthesize the computer-generated hologram (CGH) patterns of a real 3D object is proposed. Stereoscopic video images of a real 3D object are captured by a 3D camera system. Disparity maps between the captured stereo image pairs are estimated and from these estimated maps the depth data for each pixel of the object can be extracted on a frame basis. By using these depth data and original color images, hologram patterns of a real object can be computationally generated. In experiments, stereoscopic video images of a real 3D object, a wooden rhinoceros doll, are captured by using the Wasol 3D adapter system and its depth data are extracted from them. Then, CGH patterns of 1280 pixels x 1024 pixels are generated with these depth-annotated images of the wooden rhinoceros doll, and the CGH patterns are experimentally displayed via a holographic display system.  相似文献

We address reconstruction abilities of computer-generated holograms that are fabricated in a sampled form and designed for spherical-wave illumination. Our approach enables one to define the limit of resolution of the object reconstruction and the light-intensity distribution in an output plane. The analysis takes into account a hologram aperture, a sampling aperture, and a curvature radius of spherical illumination. Theoretical results are confirmed by experimental verification.  相似文献

The fundamentals of digital recording and mathematical reconstruction of Fresnel holograms are described. The object is recorded in two different states, and the holograms are stored electronically with a charge-coupled-device detector. In the process of reconstruction the digitally sampled holograms are applied to the different coherent optical methods as hologram interferometry and shearography. If the holograms are superimposed and reconstructed jointly, a holographic interferogram results. If a shearing is introduced in the reconstruction process, a shearogram results. This means that the evaluation technique, e.g., hologram interferometry or shearography, can be influenced by numerical methods.  相似文献

A method for the reconstruction of 3D shape and texture from integral photography (IP) images is presented. Sharing the same principles with stereoscopic-based object reconstruction, it offers increased robustness to noise and occlusions due to the unique characteristics of IP images. A coarse-to-fine approach is used, employing what we believe to be a novel grid refinement step in order to increase the quality of the reconstructed objects. The proposed method's properties include configurable depth accuracy and direct and seamless triangulation. We evaluate our method using synthetic data from a computer-simulated IP setup as well as real data from a simple yet effective digital IP setup. Experiments show reconstructed objects of high-quality indicating that IP can be a competitive modality for 3D object reconstruction.  相似文献

A direct-search method for the computer design of holograms is demonstrated. Two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and containing holograms with different levels of intensity (gray scales) were designed, fabricated, and optically reconstructed. The number of effective gray levels and the image-intensity noise and contrast are discussed. A modification of the state-variables cost function used in the direct-search algorithm that permits reliable control of gray scales is presented. Optical reconstructions of two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and gray-scale binary phase computer-generated holograms are presented.  相似文献

Advantages of the lensless Fourier holography setup for the reconstruction of digitally recorded holograms in holographic interferometry are presented. This very simple setup helps to achieve a maximum lateral resolution of the object under investigation. Also, the numerical-reconstruction algorithm is very simple and fast to compute. A mathematical model based on Fourier optics is used to describe discretization effects and to determine the lateral resolution. The recording and the reconstruction processes are regarded as an optical imaging system, and the point-spread function is calculated. Results are verified by an experimental setup for a combined shape and deformation measurement.  相似文献

This paper, written for interdisciplinary audience, presents computational image reconstruction implementable by quantum optics. The input-triggered selection of a high-resolution image among many stored ones, and its reconstruction if the input is occluded or noisy, has been successfully simulated. The original algorithm, based on the Hopfield associative neural net, was transformed in order to enable its quantum-wave implementation based on holography. The main limitations of the classical Hopfield net are much reduced with the simulated new quantum-optical implementation.  相似文献

早在50年代前期,超声就被研究并作为医学上的一种诊断工具。随着超声诊断技术的发展,超声医学诊断成为一门专门的医学诊断技术,并形成一个独立的分支。B超图像是由医学B型超声扫描仪(Ultrasound—B-mode Scanner)采用脉冲回波法对被测物体进行扫描,通过对所得的回波数据重建而形成的一类医学图像,它的主要成像原理是运用超声在人体组织中传播特性(速度、反射率、吸收率等)的不同,将其转化为一定的可显信号,在显示器上反映出来。文章对该类图像在计算机上重建的算法进行了研究,对各种算法分析、比较,最后提出比较合理的适应于计算机上实时重建B超图像的算法。  相似文献

Shape from focus (SFF) estimates the depth profile of a 3D object using a sequence of observations. Due to the finite depth of field of real aperture cameras and the 3D nature of the object, none of the observations is completely in focus. However, in many applications, it is important to examine finer image details of the underlying object in conjunction with the depth map. We propose an extension to the traditional SFF method to optimally estimate a high-resolution image of the 3D object, given the low-resolution observations and the depth map derived from traditional SFF. Using the observation stack, we show that it is possible to achieve significant improvement in resolution. We also analyze the special case of region of interest superresolution and show analytically that an optional interframe separation exists for which the quality of the estimated high-resolution image is the best.  相似文献

A cascaded Fresnel algorithm for the flexible reconstruction of digital holograms is proposed. Since the fast-Fourier-transform-based numerical realization of the Fresnel integral shows a dependency of its pixel resolution and its computation window size on the propagation distance different from that of the corresponding physical system, the computation window can be smaller than the actual physical diffraction field in the intermediate plane. Consequently, distortions in the final reconstruction may occur. A method is proposed to eliminate such distortion. The validity of this method is shown by both numerical simulations and experimental results.  相似文献
