In this article, the problem of H control is investigated for a class of mechanical systems with input delay and parameter uncertainties which appear in all the mass, damping and stiffness matrices. Two approaches, norm-bounded and linear fractional transformation (LFT) uncertainty formulations, are considered. By using a new Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional approach, combined with the advanced techniques for achieving delay dependence, improved robust H state-feedback controller design methods are developed. The existence condition for admissible controllers is formulated in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), and the controller design is cast into a convex optimisation problem subject to LMI constraints. If the optimisation problem is solvable, a desired controller can be readily constructed. The result for the norm-bounded uncertainty case improves the existing ones in terms of design conservatism, and that for the LFT uncertainty case represents the first attempt in this direction. An illustrative example is provided to show the effectiveness and advantage of the proposed controller design methodologies.  相似文献

This article presents new piecewise-affine (PWA) and piecewise-linear (PWL) ? controller synthesis methods for uncertain PWA slab systems. The synthesis problems are formulated as convex programs subject to a set of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs), which can then be solved efficiently using available software. No other synthesis methods available in the literature can design a PWA controller for an uncertain PWA system using convex optimisation without constraining the controller gain matrix. Therefore this is the main contribution of the article. The proposed controller synthesis methodologies are applied to a circuit example.  相似文献

This paper investigates the robust H control and non-fragile control problems for Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems with linear fractional parametric uncertainties. The robust H control problem is to design a state feedback controller such that the robust stability and a prescribed H performance of the resulting closed-loop system is ensured. And the non-fragile H control problem is to design a state feedback controller with parameter uncertainties. Based on the linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach, new sufficient conditions for the solvability of the two problems are obtained. It is shown that the desired state feedback fuzzy controller can be constructed by solving a set of LMIs. Numerical examples are also provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design method.  相似文献

In this paper, delay-dependent robust stabilization and H∞ control for uncertain stochastic Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems with discrete interval and distributed time-varying delays are discussed. The purpose of the robust stochastic stabilization problem is to design a memoryless state feedback controller such that the closed-loop system is mean-square asymptotically stable for all admissible uncertainties. In the robust H∞ control problem, in addition to the mean-square asymptotic stability requirement, a prescribed H∞ performance is required to be achieved. Sufficient conditions for the solvability of these problems are proposed in terms of a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) and solving these LMIs, a desired controller can be obtained. Finally, two numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness and less conservativeness of our results over the existing ones.  相似文献

This paper develops a new method for the synthesis of linear parameter-varying (LPV) controllers in discrete time. LPV plants under consideration have a linear fractional transformation (LFT) representation. In contrast to earlier results which are restricted to single-objective LPV problems, the proposed method can handle a set of H2/H specifications that can be defined channel-wise. This practically attractive extension is derived by using specific transformations of both the Lyapunov and scaling/multiplier variables in tandem with appropriate linearizing transformations of the controller data and of the controller scheduling function. It is shown that the controller gain-scheduling function can be constructed as an affine matrix-valued function in the polytopic coordinates of the scheduled parameter, hence is easily implemented on line. Finally, these manipulations give rise to a tractable and practical LMI formulation of the multi-objective LPV control problem.  相似文献

A novel approach to the design of a less conservative model predictive control is proposed, using mixed ?2/? design method for time-invariant discrete-time linear systems. The controller has the form of a state-feedback, satisfies input and state constraints and is constructed from the solution of a set of feasibility linear matrix inequalities. The control law takes into account the disturbances naturally and the input constraint is less conservative in the sense that the full control is used. Numerical examples comparing the proposed algorithm with some existing techniques are provided to demonstrate the applicability and the advantage of the proposed algorithm.  相似文献

This article investigates the robust H control problem for a class of spacecraft rendezvous systems with parameter uncertainties and subject to input constraint, pole constraint and external and controller perturbations. Based on the Lyapunov theory, a sufficient condition for the existence of the non-fragile robust state-feedback controller is given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Then, proper non-fragile controller design can be cast as a convex optimisation problem subject to LMI constraints. With the obtained controller, the spacecraft rendezvous mission can be accomplished. An illustrative example is provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed control design method.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with a problem of stabilization and robust control design for interconnected uncertain systems. A new class of uncertain large-scale systems is considered in which interconnections between subsystems as well as uncertainties in each subsystem are described by integral quadratic constraints. The problem is to design a set of local (decentralized) controllers which stabilize the overall system and guarantee robust disturbance attenuation in the presence of the uncertainty in interconnections between subsystems as well as in each subsystem. The paper presents necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of such a controller. The proposed design is based on recent absolute stabilization and minimax optimal control results and employs solutions of a set of game-type Riccati algebraic equations arising in H control.  相似文献

The problem of the delay-dependent non-fragile H observer-based control for a class of continuous time-delay systems is investigated in this paper. The additive gain variations under consideration are contained in both the controller gain and obhsiunserver gain. Delay-dependent criteria are derived to guarantee the stability of the non-fragile H observer-based control system using the Lyapunov functional approach. The controller and observer gains are given from the LMI feasible solutions. Based on the result of this paper, the constraint of matrix equality is not necessary for designing the non-fragile H observer-based controls. Computer software Matlab can be applied to solve all the proposed results. Finally, a numerical example is illustrated to show the improvement of this paper.  相似文献

This paper addresses the adaptive H∞ control problem for a class of nonlinear Hamiltonian systems with time delay and parametric uncertainties. The uncertainties under consideration are some small parameter perturbations involved in the structure of the Hamiltonian system. Both delay-independent and delay-dependent criteria are established based on the dissipative structural properties of the Hamiltonian systems and the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional approach. In order to construct the adaptive H∞controller, the situation that the parameter perturbation is inexistent in the system is also studied and the controller is designed.The adaptive H∞ control problem is solved under some sufficient conditions which ensure the asymptotic stability and the L2 gain performance of the resulted closed-loop system. In this paper, the dynamic observer-based controller design for a class of neutral systems with H∞ control is considered. An observer-based output feedback is derived for systems with polytopic parameter uncertainties. This controller assures delay-dependent stabilization and H∞ norm bound attenuation from the disturbance input to the controlled output. A robust H control for uncertain linear systems with a state-delay is described. Systems with norm-bounded parameter uncertainties are considered and linear memoryless state feedback controllers are obtained. Firstly, a delay-dependent bounded real lemma for systems with a state-delay is presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). By taking a new Lyapunov-Krasovsii functional, neither model transformation nor bounding for cross terms is required to obtain delay-dependent results. Secondly, based on the bounded real lemma obtained, delay-dependent condition for the existence of robust H control is presented in terms of nonlinear matrix inequalities. In order to solve these nonlinear matrix inequalities, an iterative algorithm involving convex optimization is proposed. Numerical examples show that the proposed methods are much less conservative than existing results.  相似文献

This paper considers the problems of stability analysis and H controller design of time-delay switched systems with average dwell time. In order to obtain less conservative results than what is seen in the literature, a tighter bound for the state delay term is estimated. Based on the scaled small gain theorem and the model transformation method, an improved exponential stability criterion for time-delay switched systems with average dwell time is formulated in the form of convex matrix inequalities. The aim of the proposed approach is to reduce the minimal average dwell time of the systems, which is made possible by a new Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional combined with the scaled small gain theorem. It is shown that this approach is able to tolerate a smaller dwell time or a larger admissible delay bound for the given conditions than most of the approaches seen in the literature. Moreover, the exponential H controller can be constructed by solving a set of conditions, which is developed on the basis of the exponential stability criterion. Simulation examples illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, the issue of designing non-fragile H multivariable proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controllers with derivative filters is investigated. In order to obtain the controller gains, the original system is associated with an extended system such that the PID controller design can be formulated as a static output-feedback control problem. By taking the system augmentation approach, the conditions with slack matrices for solving the non-fragile H multivariable PID controller gains are established. Based on the results, linear matrix inequality -based iterative algorithms are provided to compute the controller gains. Simulations are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approaches.  相似文献

This paper focus on a stabilization problem for a class of nonlinear systems with periodic nonlinearities, called pendulum-like systems. A notion of Lagrange stabilizability is introduced, which extends the concept of Lagrange stability to the case of controller synthesis. Based on this concept, we address the problem of designing a linear dynamic output controller which stabilizes (in the Lagrange sense) a pendulum-like system within the framework of the H control theory. Lagrange stabilizability conditions for uncertainty-free systems and systems with norm-bounded uncertainty in the linear part are derived, respectively. When these conditions are satisfied, the desired stabilization output feedback controller can be constructed via feasible solutions of a certain set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs).  相似文献

多通道网络化系统中每个通道存在不尽相同的网络不确定性因素, 使得H2/H 滤波更加困难. 对此, 提出一种受多通道通信约束的网络化系统滤波方法. 首先, 基于最大数据包错序思想解决了传感器到滤波器之间的复杂多通道通信约束的问题; 然后, 建立了更加普适的融合多通道通信约束的滤波误差动态系统模型, 证明了在已知最长网络延时和最大连续丢包数情况下, 所设计的滤波器可使系统随机稳定且满足??2/??∞ 性能指标. 仿真结果表明该方法可行且有效.

This paper presents a design approach to nonlinear feedback excitation control of power systems with unknown disturbance and unknown parameters. It is shown that the stabilizing control law with desired L2 gain from the disturbance to a penalty signal can be designed by a recursive way without linearization. A state feedback law is presented for the case of the system with known parameters, and then the control law is extended to adaptive controller for the case when the parameters of the electrical dynamics of the power system are unknown. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed controllers guarantee transient stability of the system regardless of the system parameters and faults.  相似文献
