This paper investigates a predefined performance control problem for adaptive tracking of uncertain nonlinear time-delay systems in nonstrict-feedback form. Nonstrict-feedback nonlinearities, time-varying delays and external disturbances are assumed to be unknown. Based on the exponential decaying design functions denoting the preassigned bounds of transient and steady-state tracking errors, some variable separation lemmas are derived to design an approximation-based robust adaptive control scheme in the presence of nonstrict-feedback time-delayed nonlinearities. The proposed control system guarantees that a tracking error remains within a predesigned bound for all t ≥ 0 and converges to a preselected neighbourhood of the origin. Compared with the existing results in the literature, the main contribution of this paper is to provide a solution on the guaranteed performance control in the presence of unknown nonstrict-feedback nonlinearities related to all delayed state variables. Simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology.  相似文献

In this paper, we focus on the problem of adaptive stabilisation for a class of interconnected uncertain switched stochastic nonlinear systems. Classical adaptive and backstepping technique are employed for control synthesis. Instead of estimating the switching parameters directly, we design the adaptive controller based on the estimations of bounds on switching time-varying parameters. A smooth function is introduced to deal with the difficulties caused by unknown interactions and tuning function approach is used to circumvent the overparameter problem. It is shown that under the action of the proposed controller all the signals of the overall closed-loop systems are globally uniformly bounded in probability under arbitrary switching. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of adaptive fuzzy tracking control is investigated for switched nonlinear pure-feedback systems under arbitrary switching. By utilising mean value theorem, the considered pure-feedback systems are transformed into a class of switched nonlinear strict-feedback systems. Compared with the existing results, a priori knowledge of control directions is not required. On the other hand, differing from the existing literatures, the piecewise switched adaptive laws are designed to replace the common adaptive laws, which can reduce the conservativeness. Furthermore, the difficulties from how to deal with the unknown control directions and design common virtual control are overcome. Based on the backstepping technique and the common Lyapunov functions, an adaptive fuzzy control scheme is developed to guarantee that all the signals in the closed-loop system are semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded with the tracking error converging to a neighbourhood of the origin. Simulation results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed techniques.  相似文献

In this paper, an adaptive predictive control algorithm is applied to control a class of SISO continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR) system in discrete time. The main contribution of the paper is that the considered systems belong to pure-feedback form where the unknown dead-zone is considered in the in-fan, and dead-zone is nonsymmetric, and it is first to control this class of systems. Radial basis function neural networks are used to approximate the unknown functions, and the mean value theorem is exploited in the design. Based on the Lyapunov analysis method, it is proven that all the signals of the resulting closed-loop system are guaranteed to be semi-global uniformly ultimately bounded, and the tracking error can be reduced to a small compact set. A simulation example for CSTR systems is studied to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

This paper investigates the tracking problem for a class of uncertain switched nonlinear delayed systems with nonstrict‐feedback form. To address this problem, by introducing a new common Lyapunov function (CLF), an adaptive neural network dynamic surface control is proposed. The state‐dependent switching rule is designed to orchestrate which subsystem is active at each time instance. In order to compensate unknown delay terms, an appropriate Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional is considered in the constructing of the CLF. In addition, a novel switched neural network–based observer is constructed to estimate system states through the output signal. To maintain the tracking error performance within a predefined bound, a prescribed performance bound approach is employed. It is proved that by the proposed output‐feedback control, all the signals of the closed‐loop system are bounded under the switching law. Moreover, the transient and steady‐state tracking performance is guaranteed by the prescribed performance bound. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is illustrated by two numerical and practical examples.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of output tracking for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems is considered. First, neural networks are employed to cope with uncertain nonlinear functions, based on which state estimation is constructed. Then, an output feedback control system is designed by using dynamic surface control (DSC). To guarantee the L-infinity tracking performance, an initialization technique is presented. The main feature of the scheme is that explosion of complex- ity problem in backstepping control is avoided, and there is no need to update the unknown parameters including control gains as well as neural networks weights, the adaptive law with one update parameter is necessary only at the first design step. It is proved that all signals of the closed-loop system are semiglobally uniformly ultimately bounded and the L-infinity performance of system tracking error can be guaranteed. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.  相似文献

This paper addresses the stability analysis of a class of switched nonlinear systems. The switched systems have uncertain nonlinear functions constrained in a sector set, which are called admissible sector nonlinearities. A sufficient condition in terms of linear inequalities is presented to guarantee the existence of a common Lyapunov function, and thereby to ensure that the switched system is stable for an arbitrary switching signal and any admissible sector nonlinearities. A constructive algorithm based on the modified Gaussian elimination procedure is given to find the solutions of the linear inequalities. The obtained results are applied to a population model with switchings of parameter values and the conditions of ultimate boundedness of its solutions are investigated. Another example of an automatic control system is considered to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approaches.  相似文献

In this paper, the adaptive control problem for a class of switched nontriangular nonlinear systems is investigated, which allows the control gains to vanish at some points. Neither the triangular structure nor the solvability of the adaptive control problem is required for each subsystem. A key point of this work is to solve the adaptive control problem of switched nontriangular nonlinear systems with vanishing control gains by the dual design of the controllers and switching signals. To this end, firstly, a hysteresis‐type control gains‐dependent switching law is designed, which makes the control gain of the active subsystem not vanish and thus the associated designed control input can enter into the active subsystem. Moreover, the designed switching law guarantees a dwell time between any adjacent switching instants, which rules out the Zeno behavior. Secondly, when the adaptive control problem of each subsystem is unsolvable, a sufficient condition ensuring the solvability of the adaptive control problem of switched nontriangular nonlinear systems is developed even if no control input can enter into subsystems at some points. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed result is illustrated by two examples.  相似文献

The stabilization of a class of switched nonlinear systems is investigated in the paper. The systems concerned are of (generalized) switched Byrnes-Isidori canonical form, which has all switched models in (generalized) Byrnes- Isidori canonical form. First, a stability result of switched systems is obtained. Then it is used to solve the stabilization problem of the switched nonlinear control systems. In addition, necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained for a switched affine nonlinear system to be feedback equivalent to (generalized) switched Byrnes-Isidori canonical systems are presented. Finally, as an application the stability of switched lorenz systems is investigated.  相似文献

The problem of global stabilization for a class of switched nonlinear feedforward systems under arbitrary switchings is investigated in this paper. Based on the integrator forwarding technique and the common Lyapunov function method, we design bounded state feedback controllers of individual subsystems to guarantee asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system. A common coordinate transformation of all subsystems is exploited to avoid individual coordinate transformations for subsystems that are required when applying the forwarding recursive design scheme. An example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design method.  相似文献

In this paper, an infinite-horizon optimal tracking control scheme is proposed for a class of nonlinear discrete-time switched systems. First, via system transformation, the optimal tracking problem is converted into designing an optimal regulator for the tracking error dynamics. And then, with convergence analysis in terms of value function and control policy, the iterative adaptive dynamic programming (ADP) algorithm is introduced to obtain the infinite-horizon optimal tracking controller which makes the value function close to its optimal value function. Next, two neural networks are used as parametric structures to implement the ADP algorithm, which aim at approximating the value function and the control policy, respectively. Finally, a simulation example is included to complement the theoretical discussions.  相似文献

This note is focused on the stability analysis for a class of switched nonlinear systems with disturbance input and delay. Sufficient conditions in terms of linear inequalities are presented such that the switched system is asymptotically stable for arbitrary switching, any admissible sector nonlinearities and disturbances, and any constant delay. We not only drop a condition of one result given in Aleksandrov, Chen, Platonov, and Zhang (2011), but also extend the main result to a more general switched nonlinear system with disturbance input and delay.  相似文献

This paper investigates an adaptive fuzzy output feedback control design problem for switched nonlinear system in non-triangular structure form. The discussed system contains unknown nonlinear dynamics, unmeasured states and unknown time-varying delays under a batch of switching signals. Fuzzy logic systems are utilised to learn unknown nonlinear dynamics and construct a fuzzy switched nonlinear observer. By combining the property of fuzzy basis function with Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and the command filter, a novel observer-based fuzzy adaptive backstepping schematic design algorithm is presented. Furthermore, the stability of the closed-loop control system is proved via Lyapunov stability theory and average dwell time method. The simulation results are presented to verify the validity of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献

Quadratic stability of a class of switched nonlinear systems   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5
Quadratic stability of a class of switched nonlinear systems is studied in this note. We first transform quadratic stability problem into an equivalent nonlinear programming problem. Then, we derive a necessary and sufficient condition for quadratic stability of this class of switched systems by using Karush-Kuhn-Tucker condition for nonlinear programming problems. The necessary and sufficient condition is given in terms of the strict completeness of a certain set of functions on a subset of the state space, which is much easier to check.  相似文献

A prescribed performance adaptive neural tracking control problem is investigated for strict-feedback Markovian jump nonlinear systems with time-varying delay. First, a new prescribed performance constraint variable is proposed to generate the virtual control that forces the tracking error to fall within prescribed boundaries. Combining with the approximation capability of neural networks and backstepping design, the adaptive tracking controller is designed. The designed controller is independent on time delay by constructing appropriate Lyapunov functions to offset the unknown time-varying delays. It is proved that the closed-loop system is uniformly ultimately bounded in probability, and that both steady-state and transient-state performances are guaranteed. Finally, simulation results are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献
