The AISI 444 stainless steel (SS) has become an option to substitute the AISI 316L SS because of its low cost and satisfactory corrosion resistance. However, the use of AISI 444 alloy tubes in heat exchangers causes the welding of a dissimilar joint. The aim of this study was evaluate the corrosion resistance of the tube-to-tubesheet welded by a TIG process composed of AISI 316L and AISI 444. Preparation of samples was executed through replication of tube-to-tubesheet joints. In order to test the corrosion resistance of the welded joint, the following tests were applied: sensitisation, mass loss from room temperature up to 90 °C and electrochemical corrosion tests in 0.5 mol/L HCl and 0.5 mol/L H2SO4 electrolytes. The results have shown that the dissimilar joint suffers galvanic corrosion with increased degradation of the heat-affected zone of the AISI 444 tube. Nevertheless, the mechanisms of localised corrosion (pit and intergranular) were more active in the AISI 316L alloy. It is concluded that the dissimilar joint showed better corrosion resistance than the welded joint composed solely of AISI 316L at temperatures up to 70 °C, as the conditions observed in this work.  相似文献

Resistance to localised corrosion at the heat affected zone (HAZ) of AISI 304 stainless steel gas metal arc welded (GMAW) in presence of magnetic fields of different intensity was studied. Samples of HAZ, 8 mm away from the weld centre, were subjected to electrochemical potentiokinetic reactivation to assess the degree of sensitisation (DOS). The application of magnetic field during welding induced lower DOS and better resistance to pitting corrosion in 3.5% NaCl solution than samples welded without it. Experimental findings suggest that magnetic fields enable Cr redistribution in the austenitic base metal during the welding thermal cycle reducing Cr depletion.  相似文献

钛合金是重要的航空材料。采用小孔释放法对钛合金平板激光焊接和钨极氩弧焊(TIG)残余应力进行了测试研究,分析了焊接方法及焊接热输入和焊后热处理对残余应力分布规律的影响。研究结果表明:在热影响区内,激光焊接残余应力分布规律与普通熔焊方法相似,但其分布区域较窄;与TIG焊相比,激光焊残余应力值大约低100MPa;焊后热处理能显著降低残余应力并使其分布区间平缓。  相似文献

为了有效解决铁素体不锈钢的焊接热影响区晶粒易粗化问题,以及奥氏体不锈钢焊接时在接头部分熔合区及其附近热影响区内因易形成蠕虫状δ铁素体而显著降低该区域耐腐蚀性的问题,提出了“TIG冷焊 + UNGW”的组合焊接工艺,并进行了1Cr17/1Cr18Ni9Ti厚壁异种不锈钢的焊接,同时对所得接头的显微组织、力学性能及耐腐蚀性进行了测试与分析. 结果表明,组合焊接头的1Cr17母材热影响区晶粒未发生粗化,并且1Cr18Ni9Ti母材部分熔合区及其附近热影响区内未形成蠕虫状δ铁素体;组合焊接头的抗拉强度优于1Cr17母材,并且1Cr17母材热影响区的冲击吸收能量与1Cr17母材相当;组合焊接头的熔敷层、1Cr18Ni9Ti母材、1Cr17母材、UNGW焊缝区及完整接头的耐腐蚀性呈依次下降的趋势.  相似文献

采用ER309L氩弧焊丝的奥氏体焊材和ERNiCrFe-3镍基焊丝的镍基焊材对Cr13钢母材进行TIG焊接,通过无损检测、显微组织、力学性能和耐腐蚀性能试验,对两种焊材的焊接接头性能进行研究.结果表明,两种焊接接头均未发现焊接缺陷,焊接接头属于高强匹配,弯曲性能合格.与奥氏体焊材焊缝相比,镍基焊材的焊缝冲击韧性低,硬度高,耐电化学腐蚀性能高.  相似文献

The nickel base Alloy 690 was subjected to simulated autogenous welding treatment employing two different techniques, laser beam welding (LBW) and tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding. The resultant weld fusion zone (WFZ) and heat-affected zone (HAZ) were compared by studying the reactivation behavior. The chromium depletion effect was assessed by measuring the degree of sensitization (DOS) from the electrochemical potentiodynamic reactivation (EPR) test. A double-loop EPR test for Alloy 690 was employed to measure the DOS at different regions of weldments by masking the remaining regions. The results clearly demonstrated that Alloy 690 showed no sensitization in the parent material and the WFZ region of both TIG and laser weldments. However, it exhibited reactivation in the HAZ region of both the weldments. The DOS values measured for Alloy 690 were very low for all the regions of the LBW weldment as compared to that in the TIG weldment. The HAZ region of the LBW weldment showed the highest DOS value in any region of the weldment but even this value was quite low indicating absence of sensitization in LBW weldment. The attack along the grain boundaries for the weldments after EPR experiments were studied using optical and scanning electron microscopy.  相似文献

采用电子束焊和氩弧焊方法制备的TC4钛合金接头,在4种温度条件下,测试了其焊缝、热影响区及母材的断裂韧性,并结合断口形貌、硬度分布及微观组织对比分析了断裂韧性测试结果. 结果表明,TC4钛合金TIG焊接头焊缝及热影响区的断裂韧性优于钛合金母材,CTOD值随温度下降而降低;相较之下,EBW焊接头焊缝断裂韧性值较母材更低,热影响区断裂韧性与母材较接近,温度变化对其CTOD值无显著影响. 钛合金TIG焊接头焊缝区域具有较低硬度值,其网篮状α相和较低比例的马氏体分布是其断裂韧性较高的根本原因;而钛合金EBW焊接头焊缝中针状马氏体的分布导致其局部硬度较高,并降低了断裂韧性.  相似文献

The characteristics of 5A90 Aluminum-Lithium alloy by YAG laser and MIG arc hybrid welding (Hybrid welding) were studied.Compared with the laser beam welding (LBW),the hybrid welding could not only improve the weld appearance significantly,but also have better engineering compatibility.The obvious microstructure characteristics of joint by the hybrid welding are fine-grained layer near fusion-line and the equiaxed grain in most area of welded seam.The subgrains of the equiaxed grains,located in the weld center,tend to coarse from bottom to top of weld joint.The microhardness of welded seam by the hybrid welding (83.57HV0.2) is lower than that by LBW (95.65HV0.2),but the uniformity of the former is better than that of the latter.The ultimate strength and the elongations after fracture of the joint by the hybrid welding are lower than that by LBW.The tensile fracture always occurs in HAZ or weld centerline,and the fractography presents mixture rupture.Therefore,if the combined mechanical properties of joint by the hybrid welding meet the operation requirements,it should be improved by reasonable artificial aging or heat treatment after welding,and it also should develop a better filler wire matched with the base metal.  相似文献

对铝锂合金电子束焊接头进行焊后热处理,研究了时效处理前后接头各区域的晶间腐蚀、剥蚀和电化学腐蚀行为。结果表明,接头经过时效处理后,焊缝晶界析出的T1(Al_2CuLi)相数量增加,并且形成了明显的晶界无沉淀带(Precipitate Free Zone,PFZ)。焊态下接头未出现晶间腐蚀,热影响区和母材区均出现了孔蚀;焊后时效处理增大了接头的晶间腐蚀倾向,热影响区同时发生了孔蚀和晶间腐蚀,母材区出现了严重的晶间腐蚀。焊态下焊缝和热影响区均具有优异的抗剥蚀能力,母材区对剥蚀的敏感性较高;焊后时效处理可提高接头母材区的抗剥蚀能力,但会增大热影响区的剥蚀敏感性。电化学腐蚀测试表明,与时效后的接头焊缝相比,焊态下焊缝的自腐蚀电位较高,腐蚀电流密度小,具有相对较好的耐蚀性。  相似文献

文中对在不同激光焊接速度下得到的核级不锈钢焊接接头进行了核电模拟溶液常温腐蚀试验、点腐蚀和晶间腐蚀试验和高温高压水应力腐蚀试验. 结果表明,随着焊接速度增大,焊接接头维钝电流上升,点蚀电位上升. 在同一焊接接头中,热影响区的耐点蚀性能和晶间腐蚀性能最好,焊接接头整体其次,焊缝区最差. 最低焊速下得到的焊接接头容易产生高温高压水SCC,其SCC裂纹一般从焊道根部的热影响区萌生和扩展.  相似文献

High temperature corrosion resistance of welded components in power plant industry, hot sections of gas turbines, boilers, industrial waste incinerators, metallurgical furnaces and petrochemical installations is one of the serious necessity. The failure of hot sections of welded component is due to the deposition of molten salt which accelerates the hot corrosion reactions in the weld joint. In this research work, the oxy-chlorination of dissimilar weldments between AISI 304L austenitic stainless steel and AISI 4340 alloy steel at 600°C in eutectic mixture of K2SO4?+?60% NaCl under molten salt conditions was investigated. Corrosion kinetics for this dissimilar joints calculated from the thermogravimetric charts were represented. Corrosion on the dissimilar joint employing E309L filler in pulsed current gas tungsten arc welding process is found to be very aggressive, due to the fragmented delta ferrites at numerous locations resulting in the formation of the micro electrochemical cells, which act as sites for corrosion initiation and thus leading to higher corrosion rate. However, in the case of continuous current, the joint is able to protect itself better in this environment due to lower amounts of delta ferrites in weld zone, which is attributed to the higher temperature available in continuous mode leading to austenisation of delta ferrites in the multipass welding.  相似文献

文中对Fe-Mn-C系TWIP钢的焊接行为进行了系统研究,采用激光焊和钨极氩弧焊(TIG)进行了焊接试验,对两种焊接方法的焊后热影响区的显微组织及力学性能进行了分析.结果表明,激光焊后焊接热影响区(HAZ)及焊缝组织更为细小,分布也更为均匀,断后伸长率明显好于TIG焊.焊缝的显微硬度要高于HAZ和母材,TIG焊后HAZ晶粒严重长大,显微硬度在HAZ处也明显降低,出现了软化,导致综合性能偏差.  相似文献

针对高端刀具焊接时必须整体预热,接头质量不稳定的问题,采用A-TIG焊接方法对高端刀具中的430不锈钢刀背和3Cr13-1Cr17-3Cr13"三明治"复合不锈钢刀刃进行焊接.研究了活性剂对焊缝熔深﹑焊缝气孔﹑接头力学性能﹑微观组织及接头抗腐蚀性能的影响,并和常规TIG焊进行了比较.结果表明,利用A-TIG可以无需预热实现430不锈钢刀背和3Cr13-1Cr17-3Cr13"三明治"不锈钢刀刃的焊接,且单面焊双面成形,焊缝中未出现气孔、裂纹,接头抗拉强度可达606 MPa;接头热影响区非常窄,焊缝晶粒得到细化;活性剂的加入未降低焊接接头的抗腐蚀性能.因此,高端刀具异种钢A-TIG焊具有良好的焊接性,接头质量高.  相似文献

采用PASTAT30型恒电位仪测试了SUS 316奥氏体不锈钢钨极氩弧焊TIG,熔化极氩弧焊MIG和钨极氩弧焊加填丝TIG M焊缝金属的电化学腐蚀性能.结果表明,在质量分数9.8%H2SO4溶液中,母材及焊缝的抗电化学腐蚀能力由大到小的顺序为母材>TIG M焊缝>MIG焊缝>TIG焊缝,在质量分数5.0%HCl溶液中为母材>MIG焊缝>TIG M焊缝>TIG焊缝,由此可知TIG焊缝金属的抗腐蚀能力最弱.由Tafel曲线可知,SUS316奥氏体不锈钢在H2SO4溶液中的钝化区间较长,在HCl溶液中的钝化区间很短暂,所以不锈钢在盐酸溶液比硫酸溶液中抗腐蚀性能差.晶间腐蚀试验结果与9.8%H2SO4溶液中电化学腐蚀试验结果相同.  相似文献

针对内复合不锈钢焊管制造,采用4种焊接工艺对厚度为3mm+10mm的1Cr18Ni9Ti+Q235复合钢板对接焊缝进行了自动焊接,对焊接接头进行显微组织分析、拉伸、内外弯曲、冲击试验、电化学和晶间腐蚀试验.结果表明,采用TIG焊焊接复层,复层焊缝显微组织为奥氏体加少量铁素体,在1moL/L的盐酸溶液中进行电化学腐蚀试验,其抗电化学腐蚀性能与母材复层相近,无晶间腐蚀现象.基体采用TIG焊的焊接接头,基体焊缝组织为较高强韧性的板条状马氏体,满足力学性能要求.而基体采用SAW焊的焊接接头,基体焊缝力学性能和复层焊缝抗腐蚀性能均不能满足要求.  相似文献

The stress corrosion cracking behavior of duplex stainless steel (DSS) weld joint largely depends on the ferrite-austenite phase microstructure balance. This phase balance is decided by the welding process used, heat input, welding conditions and the weld metal chemistry. In this investigation, the influence of activated tungsten inert gas (ATIG) and tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding processes on the stress corrosion cracking (SCC) resistance of DSS joints was evaluated and compared. Boiling magnesium chloride (45 wt.%) environment maintained at 155 °C was used. The microstructure and ferrite content of different weld zones are correlated with the outcome of sustained load, SCC test. Irrespective of the welding processes used, SCC resistance of weld joints was inferior to that of the base metal. However, ATIG weld joint exhibited superior resistance to SCC than the TIG weld joint. The crack initiation and final failure were in the weld metal for the ATIG weld joint; they were in the heat-affected zone for the TIG weld joint.  相似文献

Austenitic stainless steels are usually chosen to make many components of nuclear power plants(NPPs).However,their microstructure in the heat-affected zone(HAZ)will change during the welding process.Some failures of the weld joints,mainly stress corrosion cracking(SCC),have been found to be located in the HAZ.In this research,the microstructure,micro-hardness,residual strain and SCC behavior at different locations of the 316L HAZ cut from a safeend dissimilar metal weld joint were studied.However,traditional optical microscope observation could not find any microstructural difference between the HAZ and the base metal,higher residual strain and micro-hardness,and higher fraction of random high-angle grain boundaries were found in the HAZ than in the base metal when studied by using electron back-scattering diffraction scanning and micro-hardness test.What’s more,the residual strain,the microhardness and the fraction of random grain boundaries decreased,while the fraction of coincidence site lattice grain boundaries increased with increasing the distance from the fusion boundary in 316L HAZ.Creviced bent beam test was applied to evaluate the SCC susceptibility at different locations of 316L HAZ and base metal.It was found that the HAZ had higher SCC susceptibility than the base metal and SCC resistance increased when increasing the distance from the fusion boundary in 316L HAZ.  相似文献

采用晶间腐蚀试验及极化曲线测试方法对2219铝合金母材、搅拌摩擦焊(FSW)及钨极氩弧焊(TIG)接头的腐蚀行为进行分析,借助金相显微镜、激光共聚焦显微镜、体视显微镜、扫描电镜及能谱仪分析腐蚀形貌及腐蚀产物.结果表明,2219铝合金母材及焊接接头的腐蚀行为主要与析出相有关,Al2Cu的析出导致贫铜的无沉淀带作为阳极优先溶解.母材的抗晶间腐蚀能力最差,由表面点蚀开始,沿轧制方向逐渐发展为剥落腐蚀;TIG焊次之,表现为网状晶间腐蚀;FSW焊最低,焊核表现为点蚀,散落分布于表面.  相似文献

相比常规速度不锈钢焊接,高速焊接过程中焊缝金属的凝固过程及组织形态将会发生变化,从而影响焊缝组织和性能. 对1.2 mm厚304不锈钢薄板对接,采用列置双TIG焊在焊接速度为3.0 m/min时获得了良好焊缝成形,并与常规速度单TIG焊接工艺相比,采用非标准拉伸试样测试了焊缝性能,并分析了其组织. 结果表明,高速双TIG焊接焊缝中心生成等轴晶,两侧树枝晶未形成对向生长的定向晶粒,焊缝抗拉强度及断后伸长率略低于母材;相比常规单TIG焊接工艺,高速双TIG焊接热影响区晶粒平均直径降低了10.3%,但焊缝中心晶粒平均直径增大了12.9%;焊缝抗拉强度和断后伸长率分别提高了4.3%和23.2%,焊缝中心硬度值略高于母材.  相似文献
