In this paper, a novel approach to the problem of estimating the average channel capacity (in the Shannon sense) assigned to each user of a spread spectrum (SS) multiple‐input multiple‐output (MIMO) system operating in a Rayleigh fading environment, is presented. The analysis leads to a closed‐form expression which fully conforms to the upper bound of the channel capacity value of a non‐fading AWGN channel when the transmitted signal bandwidth tends to infinity proving the validity of the described analysis. This paper considers cooperative power allocation with the use of partial channel state information (CSI) in a multi‐user dual‐hop relay system with multiple antennas. The end‐to‐end capacity can be improved by dynamically allocating the transmit power of the base station and relay according to co‐channel interference caused by the adjacent relays. The proposed scheme allocates the transmit power in association with the eigenvalues and angle difference between the eigenvectors of transmit correlation matrices of the desired and interference channel. It is shown by means of upper‐bound analysis that the end‐to‐end capacity of the proposed scheme can be maximized in highly correlated channel environments when the principal eigenvectors of transmit correlation matrices of the desired and interference channel are orthogonal to each other. It is also shown that the proposed scheme is robust to the channel estimation error. Finally, the performance of the proposed scheme is verified by the computer simulation. This article investigates transmitter design in Rayleigh fading multiple input multiple output (MIMO) channels with spatial correlation when there are channel uncertainties caused by a combined effect of channel estimation error and limited feedback. To overcome the high computational complexity of the optimal transmit power allocation, a simple and suboptimal allocation is proposed by exploiting the transmission constraint and differentiating a bound based on Jensen inequality on the channel capacity. The simulation results show that the mutual information corresponding to the proposed power allocation closely approaches the channel capacity corresponding to the optimal one and meanwhile the computational complexity is greatly reduced.  相似文献

Distributed precoding has provento be capable of enhancing the secrecy capacity of the multi‐relay wiretap system. An iterative distributed precoding and channel state information (CSI) sharing scheme can be used to reduce the CSI overhead at each relay node. However, in practical applications, the CSI of each relay node cannot be perfectly known to themselves, especially that of the relay‐eavesdropper channels. Thus, partial CSI for the relay‐eavesdropper links is assumed, and the corresponding distributed precoding and CSI sharing schemes are investigated. Under the assumption that the average value of the relay‐eavesdropper channel is known at each relay node, an extended iterative distributed precoding and CSI sharing scheme is proposed. Simulation results demonstrate that with the increase of the power ratio of the constant part to the random part of the relay‐eavesdropper channels, the proposed scheme with partial CSI performs increasingly close to the one with perfect CSI in secrecy capacity. Introducing multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) relay channel could offer significant capacity gain.And it is of great importance to develop effective power allocation strategies to achieve power efficiency and improve channel capacity in amplify-and-forward relay system.This article investigates a two-hop MIMO relay system with multiple antennas in relay node (RN) and receiver (RX).Maximizing capacity with antenna selection (MCAS) and maximizing capacity with eigen-decomposition (MCED) schemes are proposed to efficiently allocate power among antennas in RN under first and second hop limited scenarios.The analysis and simulation results show that both MCED and MCAS can improve the channel capacity compared with uniform power allocation (UPA) scheme in most of the studied areas.The MCAS bears comparison with MCED with an acceptable capacity loss, but lowers the complexity by saving channel state information (CSI) feedback to the transmitter (TX).Moreover, when the RN is close to RX, the performance of UPA is also close to the upper bound as the performance of first hop is limited.  相似文献

Cooperative diversity systems have recently been proposed as a way to form virtual antenna schemes without utilizing collocated multiple antennas. In this paper, we consider the Nth best opportunistic amplify‐and‐forward (AF) cooperative diversity systems. The AF type can be regarded as one on the basis of modified channel state information. Wireless channels between any pair of nodes (i.e., direct and dual hop links) are assumed quasi‐static independent and nonidentically distributed (INID) Rayleigh fading. The best opportunistic AF (OAF) scheme requires two phases of transmission. During the first phase, the source node transmits a signal to all relays and the destination. In the second phase, the best relay is only selected on the basis of highest signal‐to‐noise ratio (SNR) scheme to forward the source signal to the destination. Therefore, the indirect link (i.e., source‐selected relay destination) can give the highest received SNR. However, the best relay selection cannot be available so that we might choose the second, third, or generally the Nth best relay. In this paper, we derive the approximated outage probability and channel capacity for the Nth best OAF relay systems over INID Rayleigh fading channels. At first, the indirect link's received SNR is approximated as harmonic mean upper bound. With this information, we obtain the given relay's Nth best selection probability as the closed form. Finally, both outage probability and channel capacity are derived as the closed forms. Simulation results are finally presented to validate the analysis.  本文研究了不完全信道状态信息(CSI)对多输入多输出(MIMO)系统容量的影响.基于平均功率和平均误码率的约束条件,我们提出了一种利用不完全CSI进行功率自适应调制的优化设计方案.根据Wishart矩阵的统计分布,我们导出了该系统容量的封闭表达式.研究结果表明:在具有不完全CSI的MIMO系统中,利用不完全CSI进行设计可以显著地提高系统的容量.  相似文献

连续相位调制(CPM)由于其相位连续和恒包络,可以使用低成本的非线性功率放大器,且CPM信号有近于1的峰均功率比,在放大器处产生的能量消耗小,从而解决协同系统中移动终端的成本和能量受限问题。本文针对平坦衰落信道下的CPM协同通信系统,研究了可表征系统容量下界的对称信息率(SIR)。分析和数值结果表明,协同CPM系统与单入单出CPM系统相比,能获得更大的信道容量,同时还拥有更低的中断概率。进一步地,以最大化系统遍历容量为目标,在考虑路径损耗的条件下,对系统的最优中继位置问题进行了讨论。分析和数值结果表明,对比中继位置在对称中点的系统,最优中继位置系统的信道容量获得明显提升。进一步,研究了信道估计误差和SNR估计误差对CPM协同通信系统的容量的影响。  相似文献

随着设备小型化的发展趋势,天线间距较小,信道具有相关性;且假设发射端处于高速移动状态,无法获得完全信道状态信息,只能根据部分信道状态信息设计发射端波束形成方案。针对发射端和接收端配置多天线的固定增益放大转发无线中继系统,以最大化接收端信噪比为准则,设计了基于部分信道状态信息的波束形成方案,推导了系统中断概率和平均误符号率的闭合表达式,通过仿真验证了性能分析的有效性和所设计方案的优越性。在平均误符号率为10-2、相关系数为0.8时,所提方案比反馈信道状态信息的方案节约1.6 dB的信噪比。  相似文献

结合了分布式天线系统和MIMO信道特点的分布式MIMO系统可以改善覆盖特性,提高系统容量。提出了包含路径损耗、快衰落和阴影衰落的两层分集分布式MIMO系统。对MIMO信道容量的分析表明,分布式MIMO系统具有良好的信道容量均匀覆盖特性。与传统集中式天线系统相比,分布式MIMO系统可以获得更好的小区平均信道容量。对下行信道容量的数值分析表明,由于“充水”方式功率分配可以充分利用MIMO信道信息,此时的分布式MIMO系统可以比等功率分配条件下的分布式天线系统多获得0.25bit/(s·Hz)每发送天线的信道容量增量。  相似文献

目前的传输预处理算法都是假设发送端有理想的信道信息.然而,在实际系统中发射端只有来自接收端的部分信道信息.本文首先分析了部分信道状态信息产生的原因.然后提出了一种等效噪声方法,当发射端已知部分信道状态信息时对预编码设计的稳健性进行初步研究.本文的等效方法,即将反馈误差建模为接收端的等效噪声,利用ZF准则对反馈误差、用户间干扰进行统一处理.最后在TD-SCDMA系统应用环境里对该方法进行了仿真分析,结果表明反馈误差对预编码影响较大,采用等效噪声后的预编码相比没有考虑反馈误差的预编码性能很明显提高.  相似文献

This paper focuses on the layered relay‐and‐antenna selection (LRAS) for achievable sum‐rate (ASR) maximization while considering the impacts of residual self‐interference due to channel estimation errors in multiple‐input multiple‐output two‐way amplify‐and‐forward relaying systems. Two LRAS algorithms, namely, the Gram–Schmidt and the adaptive discrete stochastic approximation selection techniques, are investigated based on the ASR maximization under an equal power allocation. To alleviate the complexity burden of the LRAS strategies, the optimal relay and the subset of transmit‐and‐receive antenna pairs are determined by a two‐stage selection mechanism. By taking two LRAS strategies and correlated channel uncertainties into account, the development of a two‐way multiple‐input multiple‐output multi‐amplify‐and‐forward‐relay system is able to provide improved robustness against the channel state information mismatch and the residual self‐interference. This work investigates channel assignment for cooperative spectrum sensing in multichannel cognitive radio networks, where the heterogeneity of primary user (PU) activity and the effect of varying channel condition on the received signal‐to‐noise ratio during cluster formation are considered. With the objective to minimize interference to the PU while enhancing multiple spectrum utilization of the secondary user (SU), an overlapping cluster‐based assignment is formulated into a nonlinear integer optimization problem. To obtain an efficient solution, the nonlinear integer problem is transformed into a mixed integer linear problem, based on which, this paper proposes an exact solution and then two new heuristic algorithms for suboptimal solutions, respectively. Furthermore, a comparative study of four different cluster head selection schemes with respect to their performance in cooperative spectrum sensing, under cluster's heterogeneity in terms of SUs distribution relative to PU transmitter location is presented. Based on the study, a robust cluster head selection scheme is proposed. Simulation results show that good sensing performance and increased opportunistic spectrum utilization in multichannel cognitive radio networks are two sides of a coin that depend on the ratio of the SUs to the number of PU channels. How far away the PU is from the cluster center is also seen to be key in the optimal selection of cluster heads in cooperative spectrum sensing.  相似文献

针对分布式MIMO系统中断概率和信道容量这2大性能指标,在复合衰落信道模型下,当上行链路采用最大比发送—选择合并,下行链路采用选择发送—最大比合并时,利用Lognormal分布对复杂Gamma-Lognormal分布的近似,推导得到当移动台位置给定时,系统中断概率和信道容量的闭合表达式,证明了系统性能指标与移动台分布之间存在密切的联系;随后依照实际通信环境,提出一种考虑存在小区热点的移动台非均匀分布模型,然后推导得到考虑该分布模型后的系统平均中断概率和平均信道容量闭合表达式;最后通过计算机仿真,证明了所提近似处理的精确性以及各项理论分析的合理性。  相似文献

In this paper we present tight approximations of the error performance for the entire signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) range of practical interest for an amplify and forward (AF) relaying system with channel state information (CSI) at the relay and destination, which employs multiple antennas at the nodes and orthogonal space–time block coding (OSTBC) transmission over a flat Rayleigh fading. Additionally, for a high value SNR range, we simplified the tight approximation expression in the simple asymptotic expression. The comparison of the error performance obtained by those two approximations with the error performance obtained by numeric integration of moment generating functions (MGF) and by Monte Carlo simulations shows close matching of the results.  相似文献

This paper presents two new methods for evaluating the ergodic channel capacities of cooperative non‐regenerative multirelay networks in a myriad of fading environments and under three distinct source‐adaptive transmission policies: (i) optimal rate adaptation with a fixed transmit power; (ii) optimal joint power‐and‐rate adaptation; and (iii) truncated channel inversion with fixed rate. In contrast to the previous related works, our proposed unified analytical frameworks that are based on the moment generating function and/or the cumulative distribution function of end‐to‐end signal‐to‐noise ratio allow us to gain insights into how power assignment during different transmission phases, relay node placement, fade distributions, and dissimilar fading statistics across the distinct communication links impact the ergodic capacity, without imposing any restrictions on the channel fading parameters. In this paper, we investigate the physical layer security of a hybrid cognitive relay network using an energy harvesting relay in presence of an eavesdropper. In the hybrid scheme, a secondary user (SU) as well as a cognitive relay works either in underlay or in overlay mode. In underlay, the transmit power of the SU as well as the relay is limited by the maximum acceptable interference at primary user (PU) receiver as required by an outage constraint of PU, a quality of service for PU. The secondary network consists of a decode and forward relay that harvests energy from radio frequency signal of secondary transmitter as well as PU transmitter to assist the SU in forwarding the information signal to the destination. A time switching relaying protocol is used at the relay. We evaluate the secrecy outage probability of secondary relay network assuming that channel state information of the interfering links from both the SU and relay transmitter to PU receiver is imperfect. Our results reveal the impact of imperfect channel state information, energy harvesting time, tolerable interference threshold, and PU outage constraint on the secrecy outage probability of SU.  相似文献

MIMO技术可以在不增加带宽和发射功率的情况下提高信道容量和频谱利用率。本文使用MATLAB建立SISO、SIMO、MISO、MIMO等无线信道,进行综合仿真并分析。通过仿真,我们得知,MIMO不但能有效地提高信道的容量,同时可以改善信道的平均信道容量和中断信道容量。  相似文献
