IP超市方案 IP超市方案是以Internet网络为语音传输载体开发的VoIP运营商应用方案。在本方案中,运营商可根据自己的投资和资源状况,选择合理、优化的运营方案。IP超市用户端的FSIP网关支持ADSL、ISDN、Cable Modem、城域网宽带等多种接入方式。IP超市的特点是现场服务、现场计费和现场收费。现场计费提供两种方式:一种是通过专用计费终端进行实时计费,由于IP超市接入网关具有摘挂机反极性功能,所以计费准确无误;另一种方式是终端计费软件直接对接入网关进行计费,这种方式具有结构简单、计费准确、设备投资低的特点。图1为IP超市基本结构图。

Resource allocation algorithm for situation awareness based on multiple-choice quadratic knapsack

In order to deal with the potential cyber-threat and improve the security situation by using limited resource properly, the optimal allocation of resource focused on cyber security situation. The coherence of network situation lead to the fact that the enhancement of certain item may also affect some other items, and different amount of investment may also result in different degree of impact, therefore, the problem was extracted into the multiple-choice quadratic knapsack problem. The characteristics of quadratic knapsack problem was used to model the interactions among the situation indi-cator items, meanwhile used the multiple choice knapsack problem to model the multiple investment choice for each item. A branch and bound algorithm was conducted by using the semi-definite relaxation. The experiment results show the ac-curacy and efficiency of proposed algorithm.     

Decisions on an Optimal Life Test Sampling Plan With Warranty Considerations

The choice of an appropriate life test sampling plan is a crucial decision problem because a good plan not only can help producers save testing time, and reduce testing cost; but it also can positively affect the image of the product, and thus attract more consumers to buy it. This study developed a decision model in determining the optimal life test sampling plan with an aim of cost minimization by identifying the appropriate number of product failures in a sample that should be used as a threshold in judging the rejection of a batch. A Weibull distribution with two parameters (i.e. scale factor, and shape factor) was assumed to be appropriate for modeling the lifetime of a product, and a Bayesian decision model was thus constructed to perform the prior, preposterior, and posterior analyses. The cost structure thoroughly encompassed the considerations of rejection, acceptance, testing, and warranty costs for the adoption of an optimal sampling plan, which is capable of providing guidelines for making better decisions. Finally, a practical numerical application was employed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.      

Assessing the value of a lead-free solder control plan using cost-based FMEA

While the transition to lead-free electronics, which began nearly a decade ago, is complete for most commercial products, many safety, mission and infrastructure critical systems that were originally exempt from RoHS and WEEE are only now transitioning. For these types of products qualification is very expensive and the consequences of failure can be catastrophic, therefore carefully engineered control plans are needed when technology or process changes are required. A control plan is a set of activities that a manufacturer can choose or be required to perform to ensure product performance. This paper uses cost-based FMEA to determine the projected cost of failure consequence for a technology insertion control plan for the adoption of lead-free solder for the assembly of electronic systems in critical applications that previously used tin–lead solder. A case study of the lead-free implementation of a power supply demonstrates the return on investment of the control plan for the same product under to different risk scenarios.
