This article proposes a proportional-type cascade output voltage control algorithm equipped with disturbance observers for a three-phase AC/DC converter considering a model-plant mismatch. The advantages of the proposed method are grouped into two. First, a simple first-order disturbance observer is devised for both inner and outer-loops, not only to recover the target closed-loop performance, but also to eliminate steady-state offset errors. Second, it is thoroughly verified that the entire closed-loop system driven by the proposed proportional-type cascade controller is stable. The efficacy of the proposed method is experimentally investigated using a 3 ? kW AC/DC converter.  相似文献

In the classical dual-loop voltage control scheme for an AC/DC converter, this paper proposes a simple stabilizing inner-loop model predictive controller (MPC) to regulate the output current and q-frame current to their references. The proposed MPC minimizes a cost function of the tracking error without any use of numerical methods using the specific property of the input matrix of the converter. It is shown that this MPC globally stabilizes the converter in the presence of input constraints. As the same manner of the classical dual-loop control scheme, PI controllers are adopted in the outerloop to regulate the output voltage while maintaining the maximum power factor. The simulation results show that the proposed inner-loop MPC considerably enhances the closed-loop performance despite the load changes.  相似文献

Decentralized output voltage tracking of cascaded DC–DC converters is an interesting topic to obtain a high voltage conversion ratio. The control purpose is challenging due to the load resistance changes, renewable energy supply voltage variations and interaction of the individual converters. In this paper, four novel decentralized adaptive neural network controllers are designed on the cascaded DC–DC buck and boost converters under load and DC supply voltage uncertainties. In the beginning, individual buck and boost converter average models that can operate in both continuous and discontinuous conduction modes are derived. Then, the interconnected and decentralized state-space models of cascaded buck and boost converters are extracted. These models are highly nonlinear with unknown uncertainties which can be estimated by neural networks. Further, two decentralized adaptive backstepping neural network voltage controllers are proposed on cascaded buck converters to deal with uncertainties and interactions. However, these control strategies are not applicable to a boost converter due to its non-minimum phase nature. Then, two novel decentralized adaptive neural network with a conventional proportional–integral reference current generator are developed on the cascaded boost converters. Practical stability of the overall system is guaranteed for the proposed controllers using Lyapunov stability theorem. Finally, four control strategies provide good quality of output voltage in the presence of uncertainties and interactions. Comparative simulations are carried out on cascaded buck and boost converters to validate the effectiveness and performance of the designed methods.  相似文献

Nowadays the size of the use of electronic devices like laptops, cell phone chargers, electric vehicles and UPS is rapidly increasing. So AC–DC converters need to incorporate the power factor correction along with voltage regulation. There are many AC–DC converter control methods available, but these methods do not perform well. Therefore In this paper, a smooth transformation on switching will be characterized by a high power factor in a single phase AC–DC converter by the use of intrinsic power management strategy. The proposed AC–DC converter's circuit topology is obtained by integrating a boost and buck converter. The Boost Converter's switching frequency does power factor correction to get less current harmonics at the input line. In this single phase AC–DC converter, the buck-boost converter is an important component that increases system power quality based on advanced PWM technique. So in this work, the Intrinsic Power Management Strategy (IPMS) is proposed to enhance the control over the DC–DC converter performance during unstable or transient operation. Rather than making a quick Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal, the computerized signal processor just creates a moderate changing DC signal to decide the PWM ramp function. The power factor correction model has been created and simulated by utilizing MATLAB programming. The simulation model demonstrates that the power factor is improved and the converter has regulated DC output voltage. To validate this simulation, a 1000 W prototype converter has been developed to feed a DC motor and the analysis of the results are presented.  相似文献

In this article, a cascade controller is designed and analysed for a non-inverting buck–boost converter. The fast inner current loop uses sliding mode control. The slow outer voltage loop uses the proportional–integral (PI) control. Stability analysis and selection of PI gains are based on the nonlinear closed-loop error dynamics incorporating both the inner and outer loop controllers. The closed-loop system is proven to have a nonminimum phase structure. The voltage transient due to step changes of input voltage or resistance is predictable. The operating range of the reference voltage is discussed. The controller is validated by a simulation circuit. The simulation results show that the reference output voltage is well-tracked under system uncertainties or disturbances, confirming the validity of the proposed controller.  相似文献

在传统矩阵变换器和多电平逆变器的基础上,提出一种新颖的多电平矩阵变换器,介绍了其拓扑结构和工作原理.多电平矩阵变换器的能量传递,是通过三相输入电压对中点电容充电到一个恒定直流电压而实现的.选择适当的控制算法和电容电压,能在变换器的两侧合成低次谐波含量小且波形近似于正弦的可控输入/输出电压.对多电平矩阵变换器进行建模和仿真,并探讨了其输出能控性.  相似文献

应用在双馈风力发电系统中的功率变换器必须具有功率双向流动的能力, 交直交循环变流器和交交矩阵变换器都可满足功率的双向流动要求. 而矩阵变换器能同时提供正弦的输入电流和输出电压, 输入电流可调节为超前、滞后或同相于输入电压, 输出电压可实现幅值、频率和网侧功率因数的独立控制. 利用矩阵变换器, 通过控制无刷双馈电机控制绕组的电压幅值、频率, 为风力发电系统提供励磁. 压频比控制器采用模型参考模糊自适应控制策略, 对电机的转速和功率因数进行控制. 采用DSP,CPLD构建了基于四步换流方案的矩阵变换器实验励磁系统, 仿真和实验结果验证了系统设计的正确性、可行性和稳定性, 为矩阵式变换器的实际应用提供了实验基础.  相似文献

In this article, we provide an approximate sliding mode control‐based solution to the DC–AC power conversion problem on a ‘boost’ converter. The approach uses the flatness property of the system as a pivot for generating a sequence of minimum phase output reference trajectory candidates. The generated candidates are obtained as differential parameterizations of the minimum phase inductor current variable in terms of the non‐minimum phase desired output capacitor voltage. The associated residual dynamics of the ideal sliding motions is shown to reasonably approximate the desired biased sinusoidal output capacitor voltage signal. 针对传统采用不可控AC/DC变换器的混合动力轮胎式起重机系统,直流母线电压泵升导致的柴油发电机空转,造成能量浪费的问题。采用可控的有源前端变换器取代不可控的二极管整流,建立了AFE功率外环电流内环以及电压外环电流内环两种双环控制方法以实现柴油发电机输出功率的高效利用。运用matlab/simulink搭建了仿真模型,分别进行了锂电池混合动力RTG系统重载、轻载、空载下的动态仿真,仿真结果表明,两种双环控制方法均能实现锂电池混合动力RTG系统柴油发电机的恒功率输出,控制系统具有较好的动态性能。  相似文献

Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) is used in photovoltaic (PV) systems to maximize its output power. A new MPPT system has been suggested for PV–DC motor pump system by designing two PI controllers. The first one is used to reach MPPT by monitoring the voltage and current of the PV array and adjusting the duty cycle of the DC/DC converter. The second PI controller is designed for speed control of DC series motor by setting the voltage fed to the DC series motor through another DC/DC converter. The suggested design problem of MPPT and speed controller is formulated as an optimization task which is solved by artificial bee colony (ABC) to search for optimal parameters of PI controllers. Simulation results have shown the validity of the developed technique in delivering MPPT to DC series motor pump system under atmospheric conditions and tracking the reference speed of motor. Moreover, the performance of the ABC algorithm is compared with genetic algorithm for various disturbances to prove its robustness.

This paper proposes a hybrid controller which is a combination sliding mode control and PI control techniques for AC grid integrated offshore wind farm (OSWF) with voltage source converter ‐ high voltage direct current system. The controller must be capable of controlling AC voltage, DC‐link voltage, reactive power and effective power transfer. To examine the FRT capability, a symmetrical fault is applied at onshore AC grid side and compared the performances of the studied system based on the hybrid and PI controllers. The dynamic modelling and linearized system by state‐space modelling for the studied system are explained in detail. The small signal stability analysis and controller stability are observed with the help of the eigenvalue analysis. The analysis of the studied system with a hybrid and conventional controllers are conducted in the software environment of the MATLAB/SIMULINK . The effect of parameter uncertainty on total system stability is examined with the help of eigenmatrix of the studied system.  相似文献

This paper proposes a methodology for single-phase power factor correction with DC–DC single-ended primary inductance converter (SEPIC) using cascade control strategy which comprises of genetic algorithm-based outer PI controller and an inner current controller which uses an adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system-based sliding mode controller. DC–DC SEPIC is a fourth-order converter, and in order to reduce the complexity in controller design, reduced-order model of the original higher-order system is obtained by using Type-I Hankel matrix method. The performance of the proposed system is analysed using MATLAB/Simulink-based simulation studies. In order to ensure the robustness of the proposed controller, the performance parameters such as percentage total harmonic distortion, power factor, % voltage regulation, and % efficiency are analysed. From the simulation results, it is inferred that the proposed method provides efficient tracking of output voltage and effective source current shaping for load, line, and set point variations.

In this research work, single-stage fifteen levels cascaded DC-interface converter (CDDCLC) is proposed for sun arranged photovoltaic technology (PV) applications. The proposed geography is joined with help DC chopper and H-associate inverter to upgrade the power converter to accomplish the diminished harmonic profile. In assessment with the customary inverter structures, the proposed system is used with diminished voltage stress, decreased switch count and DC source tally. The proposed research work with cascaded DC link converter design requires three DC sources for combining fifteen-level AC output. This investigation structure switching technique is phase opposition and disposition pulse width modulation technique (POPD) which results in improved quality of obtained output AC power with 6.73% THD and also determinedly recommended for power converters used in UPS and drive applications since it is extremely affordable. A simulation and prototype model of fifteen-level CDDCLC system is deployed and its performance is analyzed for various operating conditions.  相似文献

针对煤矿井下电压波动严重时影响稳压电源的单位功率因数等问题,提出采用可变输出直流电压法来控制PWM整流器的直流侧电压,以保证PWM整流器处于高功率因数运行的工作状态;详细分析了直流侧电压的选取及交流侧输入电压大范围波动对交流侧输入电流及功率因数的影响,介绍了可变输出直流电压法的控制原则及软件实现。试验结果表明,在电压波动情况下,可变输出直流电压法不仅可使PWM整流器系统稳定,而且可以保持整流器的高功率因数运行状态。  相似文献

在分析六脉波交交变频的基础上及根据软启动中的电压双斜坡启动原理,提出了一种基于六脉波交交变频的分频启动方法。该方法根据交交变频原理和晶闸管触发规律,在电动机启动时,直接在电动机定子侧加电动机启动所需最小转矩所对应的电压值,然后逐级增加变频输出电压值,直至最终所需电压。仿真结果表明,通过合理选择变频输出电压的大小,调节每个等级电压作用的时间,能够有效控制电动机分频启动过程中定子电流的大小,获得良好的转矩变化曲线,改善电动机启动性能。  相似文献

A flyback converter with digital control designed and implemented for a lithium battery charging system is proposed in this study. As opposed to the requirement of both voltage and current feedbacks for a conventional flyback converter, this study proposes a converter structure that needs only one voltage feedback to stabilize converter output for implementing the designed battery charging techniques. This single feedback of voltage is made possible by so-called “primary side regulation (PSR)”, which in hardware senses the output voltage using an auxiliary winding in the isolating transformer of the flyback converter that is operated in DC–DC discontinuous current mode. The adoption of PSR also enables the elimination of the opto-coupler that is often used in conventional converters for feedback signals. Another essential part of the converter is the proposition of a new a duty control method which regulate successfully the output current by only one feedback voltage signal. The proposed battery charging design consists of three consecutive modes, trickle current (TC), CC and CV. At TC and CC, a duty control method is adopted, which is able to regulate the output current by sensing only the output voltage. Both simulation and experimental results show a 7 % error deviated from targeted output current. As for CV, a proportional-integral controller is designed and implemented to regulate the output voltage. The overall experimental results show a favorable performance of the proposed charging method with proposed PSR-flyback converter.  相似文献
