This paper investigates the state tracking problem for a class of model reference adaptive control systems with intermittent failures of all actuators. We consider the case that all actuators may suffer failures simultaneously. The concepts of failure frequency and unavailability rate are introduced to describe the failures. Because of the actuator failures, the error system is modeled as a switched system. Then, the notion of global practical stability of switched systems is presented, and sufficient conditions are provided to guarantee the global practical stability of the error system. An example of HiMAT vehicle and the simulation results demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed design method. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

This paper studies adaptive control of switched nonlinearly parameterized cascade systems. No solvability of the adaptive control problem for subsystems is required. By exploiting the multiple Lyapunov functions method and the parameter separation technique and the tool of adding a power integrator, we develop a new switched adaptive control approach for the explicit construction of adaptive controllers of subsystems and a proper switching law that solves the adaptive stabilization problem. A key feature of the proposed adaptive controllers is its switched property, namely, each subsystem has its individual update law. This article is concerned with the adaptive output-feedback control of switched nonstrict feedback nonlinear systems. By introducing a novel error surface, an adaptive control strategy is proposed for the general case where the nonlinear functions and the control gain functions are unknown, and the states are unmeasurable. The considered switched nonlinear system contains unknown actuator failures, which are modeled as both loss of effectiveness and lock-in-place. In order to improve the transient performance in the presence of unknown actuator failures, the prescribed performance approach is used. The “explosion of complexity” problem is avoided through using low-pass filters. The stability of the closed-loop system under arbitrary switching is shown using Lyapunov stability theory, based on which, the tracking error is shown to converge to a small residual set with the prescribed performance bounds. The advantages of the proposed technique are verified through simulations of two numerical and practical examples. 相似文献

The adaptive state tracking problem of switched systems is studied in this paper. The desirable state trajectory is generated by a switched reference model. First, a condition for asymptotical hyperstability of switched systems is proposed and a switching law is designed, which is a generalization of the classical hyperstability condition for non‐switched systems. Then, the result is applied to uncertain switched systems to achieve state tracking. An individual adaptive law is designed for each subsystem such that the Popov inequality is satisfied. Asymptotical state tracking is achieved under non‐persistent exciting input when the error system switches in a certain way. A robustness control of uncertain switched fuzzy systems is presented. Using the switching technique and the Lyapunov function
method, a continuous state feedback controller is built to ensure that for all allowable uncertainties the relevant closed-loop
system is asymptotically stable. Furthermore, a switching strategy that achieves system global asymptotic stability of the
uncertain switched fuzzy system is given. In this model, each subsystem of the switched system is an uncertain fuzzy system,
and a common parallel distributed compensation controller is presented. The main condition is given in the form of convex
combinations which are more solvable. This method transforms a certain switched system and has strong robustness for various
system parameters. Simulations show the feasibility and the effectiveness of this method.

This paper addresses the issue of the adaptive output tracking control for switched nonlinear systems with uncertain parameters. The solvability of the tracking control problem for each subsystem is not necessary to hold. Individual update laws corresponding to different unknown parameters are adopted to reduce the conservativeness produced from the adoption of a common undated law. By means of the dual design of the adaptive controllers and a state‐dependent switching law using multiple storage functions technique, several conditions are obtained under which the adaptive output tracking control problem for switched nonlinear systems is solvable. In this paper, the adaptive fuzzy controller design problem is investigated for a class of switched nonlinear systems in nonstrict feedback form, in which the unknown functions are considered and are approximated. Moreover, the system states are constrained in corresponding compact. By using Barrier Lypunov function method and backstepping technique, the adaptive fuzzy controller is designed such that all the signals in the closed-loop system are bounded, the system output can track the desired signal to small compact, and all the system states satisfy the constraint conditions. The problem of active fault‐tolerant control with reconfiguration mechanism for uncertain linear systems with external disturbances is addressed applying the supervisory control approach. A key feature of the proposed approach is establishment of a set of conditions providing mutual performance in the sense of taking into account the interaction of the fault detection, isolation, and accommodation subsystems in order to achieve global fault‐tolerance performance with guaranteed global stability. Ultra-high voltage converters are usually employed to transform low voltage to high voltage in microgrids to produce renewable energy. However, it is challenging to develop control techniques due to the complicated structure of ultra-high voltage converters and the numerous power switches and circuit components, which leads to poor dynamic characteristics of the system and a marked increase in fault rates. In order to understand the control theoretical characteristics of the ultra-high voltage converter and provide a theoretical basis for circuit parameter analysis and control strategy design, this paper takes the boost converter cascaded system as an example to establish an accurate switching linear system model, discusses the control theoretical characteristics of the ultra-high voltage converter in detail, and uses the decision theorem to draw the conclusion that the system is structurally controllable, reachable, and observable, simplifying the difficulty of analysis. The simulation and experimental findings show that the conclusion was drawn correctly. The research findings will give the boost converter cascaded systems modulation approach and circuit parameter design a theoretical foundation. 相似文献

This article concerns the assessment of diagnosis performance of a recently developed secondary protection (SP) applied to the IEEE 16-machine 68-bus test system subject to primary protection (PP) misoperations on transmission short circuit faults. A PP may fail to trip or falsely trip a line. Such PP misoperations have been known to be a main culprit of modern day blackouts. The function of the SP is to take a timely corrective action before a misoperation causes instability through on-line diagnosis and stability assessment. Its feasibility hinges on the effective utilization of networked advanced digital relays. We have recently built a full set of diagnosis filters with sensor-localized dynamic transmission circuit models representative of all anticipated line contingencies in the 68-bus system and computed the postfault stability regions for the contingencies. The sensor-localized circuit partition drastically reduces the processing and communication complexity of diagnosis. This work evaluates the diagnosis performance of the SP's multiple-model filters (MMF) using hybrid simulations driven by both randomly generated discrete events of PP misoperations and the governing dynamics of rotor angles of the 16 interconnected synchronous generators. Of the 1000 independent replications of simulation conditioned on each type of randomly generated misoperations, a 98% correct diagnosis rate is achieved. Each diagnosis conclusion is reached by the SP's MMF scheme within a few tens of a millisecond from the onset of a PP misoperation following a random transmission short circuit fault. This suggests that the SP can circumvent a large percentage of potential blackouts cost-effectively. 相似文献

In this article, the adaptive finite-time fault-tolerant control problem is considered for a class of switched nonlinear systems in nonstrict-feedback form with actuator fault. The problem of finite-time fault-tolerant control is solved by introducing a finite-time performance function. Meanwhile, the completely unknown nonlinear functions exist in the switched system are identified by the neural networks. Based on the common Lyapunov function method with adaptive backstepping technique, the finite-time fault-tolerant controller is designed. The proposed control strategy can guarantee that the tracking error converges to a prescribed zone at a finite-time and all system variables remain semiglobally practical finite-time stable. This paper addresses the problem of asymptotic tracking for switched linear systems with parametric uncertainties and dwell‐time switching, when input measurements are quantized due to the presence of a communication network closing the control loop. The problem is solved via a dynamic quantizer with dynamic offset that, embedded in a model reference adaptive control framework, allows the design of the adaptive adjustments for the control parameters and for the dynamic range and dynamic offset of the quantizer. The overall design is carried out via a Lyapunov‐based zooming procedure, whose main feature is overcoming the need for zooming out at every switching instant, in order to compensate for the possible increment of the Lyapunov function at the switching instants. It is proven analytically that the resulting adjustments guarantee asymptotic state tracking. The proposed quantized adaptive control is applied to the piecewise linear model of the NASA Generic Transport Model aircraft linearized at multiple operating points. 相似文献

A multiple‐model adaptive robust dynamic surface control with estimator resetting is investigated for a class of semi‐strict feedback nonlinear systems in this paper. The transient performance is mainly considered. The multiple models are composed of fixed models, one adaptive model, and one identification model that can be obtained when the persistent exciting condition is satisfied. The transient performance of the final tracking system can be improved significantly by designing proper switching mechanism during the parameter tuning procedure. The semi‐globally uniformly ultimately bounded stability of the closed‐loop system can be easily achieved because of the framework of adaptive robust dynamic surface control. The H∞ filtering problem for interconnected systems is addressed in this paper. In order to facilitate the stability analysis of interconnected systems under the conditions of failed interconnections, a strategy related to switched systems is introduced. Assume that the interconnections among these subsystems disconnect based on the mode-dependent average dwell time (MDADT), a switching signal is implemented to denote the failed interconnections cases. In the aid of the MDADT method, a filter is designed such that the fault detection (FD) system is asymptotically stable and satisfies the weighted H∞ performance. The control of switched power converters has been mostly accomplished using pulse width modulation (PWM). Under this type of control, it has been shown in literature that DC–AC current mode single‐phase inverter may exhibit chaotic behavior if the proportional controller of the PWM modulator is badly tuned. In this work, we present a novel method to control the inverter using an optimal control approach. Our method consists in defining the switching instances in order to achieve the reference current with minimum error. To illustrate the efficiency of our proposed method, numerical simulations and comparison with the proportional and integral controller as well as to the proportional and resonant controller are presented. 针对已有基于虚位移法的无轴承开关磁阻电机数学模型推导复杂的缺限,从麦克斯韦应力法角度出发,建立了考虑电机磁饱和特性的数学模型。在大电流饱和状态下,该模型有效地描述了电机产生的径向悬浮力和电磁转矩。利用有限元分析的方法验证了该模型的优良特性。试验结果显示利用该模型能够很好地实现电机稳定悬浮,表明采用麦克斯韦应力法建模的正确性和可行性。该方法的应用为研究无轴承开关磁阻电机电磁力分布提供了新的思路。 相似文献

MV-index that quantitatively evaluates the steady state control performance is a method of setting the minimum variance as a benchmark, and it is widely used mainly for process control.
