针对观澜河水水质恶化的现状,采用化学强化一级处理(CEPT)技术进行治理。结果表明,处理出水水质优于设计指标,水质感观良好,透明度明显增加,基本没有嗅味。CEPT技术显著降低了基建投资及运行费用,为治理小流域纳污河的污染提供了良好的示范工程。  相似文献

The Lower River Roding Regeneration (LRRR) project was funded by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) with a contribution from the Environment Agency and was charged with achieving environmental and social gains along the highly urbanised lower 4.4 km of the River Roding. The funding allowed £1.5 million for all elements of work within a 2‐year‐period. Of the four sites constructed, two allowed significant river restoration to be achieved: Creekmouth Open Space and Frogmore Frontage. In the former, an existing flood defence was set back to create a tidal backwater. In the latter, a concrete river wall was demolished and a graded riverbank was created. A total of 1 ha of new saltmarsh was created on these two sites. The project demonstrates how multiple objectives of river restoration, flood defence, habitat creation, improved public amenity and urban regeneration can be achieved in an industrial urban area.  相似文献

The Welbeck reclamation and landfill project (near Wakefield) is reclaiming over 1.5 km2 of former aggregate and colliery workings through the creation of a new landform. This is to incorporate millions of tonnes of colliery spoil and controlled (i.e. household, trade) wastes, and to avoid the need for disposal on less suitable sites elsewhere.
The scheme is already under way, but the proposed diversion of the River Calder to one side of the site would more than double its capacity for landfill. In environmental terms, the project has been seen as the creation of a new river corridor, rather than simply the diversion of a river channel.
The paper outlines the engineering of the river diversion, which is routed for about 2 km through varied and difficult ground conditions, and gives a number of examples of the priority attached to landscape and after-use factors, and their intrinsic importance in design.  相似文献

The 231 km long Ken-Betwa River Linking canal will transfer 1,020 hm3 of surplus water from the Ken River to the deficit Betwa River basin. The landslide susceptibility zonation map of the river link has been assessed using remote sensing data in GIS. Various thematic maps such as geology, land use/land cover, lineament, drainage, slope, aspect, normalized difference vegetation index and soil type were generated from the Landsat Thematic Mapper 5 satellite data of 2005, the Survey of India topographic sheets, Shuttle Radar Topographic Mission Digital Elevation (SRTM-DEM) data and other existing maps. Numerical rating schemes were used for ranking the thematic layers. The results were supported with the rainfall data, groundwater level data and a petrological study of rock thin sections. In addition to providing valuable information for project decision-makers, the results will assist in slope management and land use planning in the area.  相似文献

Guitang River, a once natural river breeding a harmonious human-water relationship, is now the longest inland river of Changsha City, Hunan Province, China, suffering from severer water problems such as water shortage, environmental polloution, and ecological degradation, which heavily impede the urban development. Commissioned by Changsha Guitang River Catchment Development and Construction Co., Ltd., the project team employed 4 mathematic models including a hydrodynamic model of water systems, a water quality model, a hydrodynamic model of drainage networks, and a hydrological model of watersheds to generate an optimal planning scheme for restoring the natural water circulation with the most appropriate planning scheme. Strategies were proposed including the blue and green ecological network combined with urban functional zoning, natural river restoration, riparian space improvement, watershedscale ecological corridor construction, and neighborhood-scale sponge city construction. The whole planning and design, from a coordinated planning at the watershed scale to the river scale, and to specific neighborhood projects, is to establish a social-economic-natural compound ecosystem to balance urban development with ecosystem improvement, while promoting the sustainability of the river.  相似文献

上海新江湾城的河湖水系作为绿色水基础设施,是防汛除涝排水安全、雨水资源利用及水资源调度、水环境保护及水生态修复和水景观营造等综合功能的共同载体。水系综合规划和建设充分发挥了河湖水系的安全、资源、环境与生态的综合功能,真正体现出了生态绿色和低碳。新江湾城在除涝排水安全上实现了"雨水自流排放、除涝以蓄为主";在水资源上,利用雨水资源及黄浦江天然潮汐进行引排水调度;再通过雨污分流、初期雨水面污染控制和岸坡生态化及水生态系统构建等措施,保护了河湖水系的水环境,并营造了新江湾城优美的水景观。  相似文献

The Lena River is the second largest river that discharges into the Arctic Ocean. It is therefore important to determine not only the direct impact its discharge has on the 137Cs concentration of the Arctic, but also the potential its drainage basin has as a 137Cs source. 137Cs surface sediment concentrations and inventory values, which range from 4.97 to 338 Bq kg(-1) and 357 to 1732 Bq m(-2), respectively, were determined for the Lena River drainage basin lake samples, via gamma analysis. The average geochemical and mineralogical composition of a subset of samples was also determined using neutron activation analysis, X-ray diffraction and X-ray fluorescence spectrometry techniques. Results of these geochemical analyses allowed for the identification of key geochemical factors that influence the distribution of 137Cs in the Lena River drainage basin. 137Cs profiles indicate that Lena River drainage basin lacustrine sediments serve as a record of 137Cs fallout. Based on the downcore 137Cs, %illite, %smectite, %Al and %Mn distribution patterns, it was concluded that a small fraction of non-selectively bound 137Cs was remobilized at depth in some cores. Inconsistencies between the actual 137Cs fallout record and the 137Cs profiles determined for the lake sediments were attributed to 137Cs remobilization in subsurface sediments. In addition to establishing the agreement between the global atmospheric fallout record and the downcore 137Cs distribution patterns determined for these sediments, results indicate that 137Cs deposited during periods of maximum atmospheric release was buried and is not susceptible to surface erosion processes. However, mean 137Cs concentrations of the lacustrine surface sediments (125 Bq kg(-1)) are still significantly higher than those of the nearby Lena River estuary (11.22 Bq kg(-1)) and Laptev Sea (6.00 Bq kg(-1)). Our study suggests that the Lena River drainage basin has the potential to serve as a source of 137Cs to the adjacent Arctic Ocean.  相似文献

对流域水生态的研究由传统单一的水质评价逐渐转变为河流生态质量的评价,基于河流健康保障的流域生态保护与发展已成为国际性趋势。长江、黄河两大流域内的生态保护与发展也是重大国家战略。以长江、黄河两大流域为研究对象,对两大流域水生态环境问题进行分区概述,并从河流湖库问题治理的关键是注重流域的整体性的角度,分析为维系两大流域水生态健康可开展的研究工作,最后将生态修复与景观设计结合考虑,提出注重景观价值的流域生态保护策略。  相似文献

东濠涌为城区中集污水、雨水排放和防洪排涝功能于一体的合流河涌,东濠涌流域地处建筑物密集的旧城区。截污工程按照远近期相结合的原则设计:涌中上游为合流渠箱,下游为明涌截污,改善了两岸景观;在合流渠箱与明涌截污分界点处设置截污闸,晴天时污水流入两岸截污管,雨天时若截污管的流量大于2倍污水量则打开截污闸,合流水直排珠江;低洼地区和涌出口在雨期会受潮水顶托,采用泵排方式。该设计既满足了过流能力,又达到了截污整治的目的。  相似文献
