Based on the theory of switched capacitor (SC) filters using voltage invertor switches (VIS) a third order lowpass filter has been designed and integrated in a standard CMOS metal gate technology. The filter uses a bottom plate stray-insensitive VIS and requires only unity gain buffers. Performance parameters of an integrated version are: cutoff frequency 170 kHz, dynamic range 70 dB, and power dissipation 12 mW.  相似文献

提出了一种新型的具有双阻带特性的组合式非周期性缺陷接地结构(CNPDGS),利用时域有限差分法(FDTD)对其滤波特性进行了电磁仿真,研究了其结构尺寸变化对阻带特性的影响,研制了带宽可调节的双阻带滤波器,测量结果与仿真结果一致性很好,此结构的双阻带中心频率位置及它们之间的间隔随着结构参数的变化而变化,两阻带之间的间隔可从3.5GHz到12GHz.这种新型结构可有效地抑制信号中的低端和高端干扰,具有较好的带通滤波特性.  相似文献

The paper presents a new design of pseudo-elliptic microstrip line filters. These filters employ a coupling scheme which allows shifting of transmission zeros from one side of the passband to the other by only changing the resonant frequencies of the resonators. To demonstrate the performance of these filters, a fourth-order bandpass filter with one transmission zero in the upper stopband is first designed. A second filter with a transmission zero in the lower stopband is then designed by simply adjusting the lengths of the resonators followed by minor optimization to account for the fact that the resonant frequencies can not be changed without slightly affecting the coupling coefficients in the used layout. Standard Bragg filters (dielectric waveguides with a grating overlay) show a stopband only in reflection. Filters with quarter-wave-shifted gratings have an extremely narrow transmission peak the center of the stopband but its shape (a sharp triangle with a broad bottom) is not suitable for system design. Using standard coupled-mode theory together with transfer-matrix formalism, we show that by introducing several phase-shift regions and properly choosing their locations and magnitudes the transmission spectrum can be tailored into a nearly rectangular shape. For InP-InGaAsP based Bragg-grating filters estimates are made of achievable channel spacings in wavelength-division multiplexing systems  相似文献

This paper deals with the optimal design of two-channel nonuniform-division filter (NDF) banks whose linear-phase FIR analysis and synthesis filters have coefficients constrained to -1, 0, and +1 only. Utilizing an approximation scheme and a weighted least squares algorithm, we present a method to design a two-channel NDF bank with continuous coefficients under each of two design criteria, namely, least-squares reconstruction error and stopband response for analysis filters and equiripple reconstruction error and least-squares stopband response for analysis filters. It is shown that the optimal filter coefficients can be obtained by solving only linear equations. In conjunction with the proposed filter structure, a method is then presented to obtain the desired design result with filter coefficients constrained to -1, 0, and +1 only. The effectiveness of the proposed design technique is demonstrated by several simulation examples  相似文献

传统滤波器由于寄生通带的存在,其高频阻带性能较差。随着超宽带雷达系统和超宽带通信系统的发展,小型化宽阻带的滤波器已成为一项紧迫的技术课题。该文论述了一种普适性的基于开路T型结构的小型化超宽阻带滤波器结构,这种滤波器和传统滤波器相比,结构极为紧凑,5倍基频范围内的寄生通带均被抑制,而通带性能保持良好。基于此结构实际制作了一个截止频率为2.9 GHz的低通滤波器,测量得到的通带内平均插入损耗仅0.67 dB,带内平均驻波比为1.33,过渡带陡峭,40 dB矩形系数仅1.096,而所测得的阻带从3.23 GHz到10.30 GHz之内谐波抑制大于36 dB,从10.30 GHz到15 GHz之内谐波抑制大于27 dB;该滤波器的长度仅为传统的同类型滤波器的长度的37.1%,面积大大减小。仿真和测量结果表明该类型滤波器同时满足了小型化和宽阻带的性能需求。  相似文献

An approach to the construction of wideband bandpass filters of microstrip and stripline designs, which have an extended stopband and can incorporate lumped capacitors, is proposed. This approach is based on resonators with the enhanced frequency diversity of fundamental and parasitic resonance frequencies and coupling circuits formed according to an assigned rule. The potential of the filters achieved due to the proposed technique is established. In particular, a very wide passband whose ratio of cuttoff frequencies is 5: 1, as well as the stopband greater than an octave at a level of 40 dB, is demostrated to be attainable. When the passband is narrower, the stopband can exceed two octaves. The given approach can be applied to filters operating in a broad frequency range, including to that corresponding to centimeter and meter waves. The experimental data are presented.  相似文献

A micropower fourth-order elliptical switched-capacitor (SC) low-pass filter for biomedical applications has been designed and measured. The charge transfer error of an SC integrator using a transconductance amplifier is discussed. Also first-order noise and PSRR calculations are performed and compared with the results of simulations and measurements. The measurements show that by careful optimization of the gain bandwidth, slew rate, and gain of the amplifiers, high-performance low-power SC filters can be constructed. The cutoff frequency of the filter is 5 kHz, the ripple in the passband is 0.27 dB, and stopband rejection is 49 dB. The power consumption of the filter is 190 /spl mu/W with /spl plusmn/2.5-V power supplies. The dynamic range of the filter is 75 dB, and the total harmonic distortion over the whole passband range is below 0.25% for a 2-V/SUB pp/ input signal. The PSRR of the filter is above 40 dB at frequencies below 3 kHz.  相似文献

Wideband coplanar-waveguide (CPW) bandpass filters based on the cascade of CPW lowpass and highpass periodic structures are proposed. The upper and lower stopband characteristics of proposed bandpass filter can be easily designed by separately adjusting the lowpass and highpass sections, respectively. Specifically, two wideband CPW bandpass filters with sharp roll-off at passband edges and good stopband rejection are demonstrated.  相似文献

This paper proposes a lattice structure of biorthogonal linear-phase filter banks (BOLPFBs) using new building blocks which can obtain long filters with fewer number of building blocks than conventional ones. The structure is derived from a generalization of the building blocks of first-order LPFBs. Furthermore, the proposed building blocks are applicable for both even and odd number of channels. The resulting FBs have good performance in stopband attenuation and low implementation costs.   相似文献

A design of multiple-stopband filters is presented for the suppression of interfering signals in UWB applications. Since possible interferers can be located at fixed frequencies or within a defined frequency band, the design of both fixed and tunable narrow stopband filter sections is addressed. For multiple fixed stopband filters, bent resonators, coupled to the main line, are introduced in order to more effectively suppress harmonics. A new tunable tapped stopband section is proposed, which allows the simultaneous control of stopband frequency and bandwidth. The final multiple-stopband design combines fixed and tunable sections and simultaneously suppresses interferences from global system for mobile communication, wireless local area network, worldwide interoperability for microwave access, and industrial-scientific-medical applications. A novel compact structure with three controllable finite attenuation poles at stopband is presented. The new structure is composed of a pair of symmetrical parallel coupled-lines and a capacitive load. With this configuration, three finite attenuation poles are available, which can improve the stopband characteristics of low-pass filters (LPFs) or the upper stopband performances of band-pass filters. The research method is based on a transmission-line model for tuning the finite attenuation poles. In order to examine the feasibility of the proposed structure, a new type of LPF with broad stopband and sharp cutoff frequency response is designed, fabricated, and measured. 基于PCM(Pulse-Code-Modulation, 脉冲编码调制)语音编解码器设计了其中的发送端开关电容滤波器,包括高通滤波器和低通滤波器.对高通滤波器和低通滤波器的设计分别采用两种不同的方法--级联法和梯形法,然后把这两部分级联起来就实现了带通滤波器.仿真结果表明开关电容带通滤波器通带波纹0.24 dB,阻带衰减37 dB,对60 Hz以下频率的衰减大于32 dB,动态范围达到90 dB,满足D4信道处理单元发送滤波器的技术要求[1].设计的开关电容滤波器在一款PCM语音编解码芯片中成功实现.  相似文献

Gaussian-like filters are frequently used in digital signal transmission. Usually, these filters are made of lumped inductors and capacitors. In the stopband, these filters exhibit a high reflection, which can create unwanted signal interference. To prevent that, a new low-reflection ladder network is introduced that consist of resistors, inductors, and capacitors. The network models fictitious transmission lines with Gaussian-like amplitude characteristics. Starting from the analysis of this network, a procedure is developed for synthesis of a new class of lumped-element RLC filters. These filters have transmission coefficients similar to the classical Bessel filters. In contrast to the Bessel filters, the new filters exhibit a low reflection both in the stopband and passband, they have a small span of element parameters, and they are easy for manufacturing and tuning.  相似文献

在数字及高速率信号传输系统中,经常采用Bessel或Gaussian函数滤波器,该类滤波器只有在中心频率(带通滤波器)或DC处(低通滤波器)才有良好的匹配特性,在其他频点都有很大的反射,在微波电路的级联中会产生杂波和干扰。为了解决该问题,设计了一种在通带和阻带内都有很小反射的滤波器,即吸收型(匹配型)准高斯类带通滤波器。介绍了其设计过程及方法,并设计了一种中心频率为100 MHz的吸收型准高斯带通滤波器,给出了仿真结果和实测曲线,实测结果与仿真结果吻合得很好。  相似文献

A computer-aided synthesis technique for E-plane bandpass filters with improved stopband performance is developed. An optimization procedure based on equal ripple optimization is adopted. The design of a symmetrical E-plane bandpass filter with improved stopband performance is considered; higher order mode interaction between E-plane discontinuities is included in the design. The predicted filter performance shows improved stopband performance and reduced filter dimensions compared with conventional E-plane bandpass filters. The validity of the method is confirmed by the measurement of a fabricated five resonator E-plane bandpass filter with improved stopband performance  相似文献

Wide-band superconducting spiral bandpass filters have been successfully designed and tested. This extends the range of parameters that can be implemented using spirals. The shape of the spiral resonators was significantly modified to achieve the higher coupling coefficients required. A wide upper stopband was produced by using quarter-wave resonators for some of the spirals, and by shifting the second harmonic upwards for the others. One of the filters is eighth order with 1560-MHz center frequency and 27% bandwidth, and has an active area of only 9 mm/spl times/6 mm.  相似文献
