在内径为25mm的连续逆流喷淋塔内进行了流体力学特性和质量传递性能的研究,实验压力为(8~14)MPa,实验温度为35℃,实验体系为CO_2/异丙醇/水和CO_2/乙醇/水.建立了描述连续逆流超临界流体喷淋萃取塔的流体力学关联式,根据双膜理论,建立了用于计算液相总体积传质系数的质量传递模型.流体力学关联式和质量传递模型的计算值与实验结果符合较好.  相似文献

Experimental measurements for the axial and radial variations in gas holdup, axial and radial dispersion coefficients, volumetric gas-liquid mass transfer coefficient and liquid phase circulation velocity in a cone of a large diameter (122 cm) jet bubble column are presented. Two diameters of the inlet nozzle, namely 10.16 cm and 15.24 cm, three superficial gas velocities (based on cylinder diameter), 3 cm/sec, 6 cm/sec and 8 cm/sec and two superficial liquid velocities, 0.3 cm/sec and 0.6 cm/sec, are examined. The experimental data are obtained for two different bed heights.

The experimental data showed significant axial and radial variations in the gas holdup. The volumetric average gas holdup was higher at higher gas velocity and larger nozzle diameter and somewhat higher at lower liquid velocity. The axial dispersion was high while the radial dispersion was low. The volumetric gas-liquid mass transfer coefficient was larger at higher gas velocity and larger nozzle diameter. The liquid recirculation begins only at the upper end of the cone. In general, experimental data indicate that a jet bubble column provides a high degree of mixing and transport rates.  相似文献

用动态响应曲线法研究了内径150mm脉冲筛板萃取柱的传质特性,并考虑了轴向混合。实验体系采用30%TBP(煤油)-硝酸-水,操作条件:脉冲频率:1.0~2.5s~(-1),脉冲振幅=0.0067~0.030m,有机相/水相=1/1~3.3/1.实验结果表明,本法与稳态浓度剖面法同样可靠,且省时、省料,可在更宽流比范围内用于大柱径萃取设备的研究。  相似文献

The jet bubble column consists of a conical entrance section which expands to a cylindrical column. Gas and liquid are co-currently introduced at the bottom of the column by a small diameter inlet pipe which acts like an ejector. The kinetic energy of the gas and liquid jet together with the conical geometry at the lower section of the column cause the formation and dispersion of small bubbles.

Gas-liquid mass transfer in the jet bubble column (61 cm diameter) was measured by a dynamic response technique, in which a step change was made in the gas phase oxygen concentration and the aqueous dissolved oxygen concentration response was measured at various axial and radial locations. It was found that a continuous stirred tank reactor model could be used to evaluate experimental results. The volumetric mass transfer coefficient in this type of system was found to increase with increasing gas flow rate and was about 1.5 times larger than the values obtained at similar conditions in conventional bubble columns. Preliminary measurements and calculations indicate negligible effects of liquid velocity and bed height on the mass transfer coefficient.  相似文献

Developments in the area of packed columns, particularly structured packed columns, are ongoing, specifically in the area of liquid-liquid extractions. Accurate predictions of mass transfer coefficients lead to more accurate design of columns. In the present study, mass transfer coefficients were measured experimentally for packed columns of different heights to study the effect of packing height and specific area. Two experimental pilot regular packed extraction columns were examined using toluene/acetic acid/water and n-butyl acetate/acetic acid/water systems. Based on the results, a novel model for prediction of effective diffusivity has been proposed that is a function of column height and specific area. The mass transfer coefficients obtained by this prediction were compared with other models. The results of this new model are in good agreement with the experimental data. Therefore, this new model can be used to design better regular packed columns.  相似文献

溶剂对膜的溶胀,使膜的物理结构发生变化,进而对膜萃取传质性能产生一定的影响。本文以30%TBP(煤油)-醋酸-水,正丁醇-醋酸-水和20%7301(煤油)-醋酸-水为实验体系在聚砜和聚四氟乙烯微孔平板膜器中系统地了溶胀地膜萃取总传质系数的影响。结果表明,微孔膜发生溶胀后孔隙率发生明显的变化,其总传质系数有较大的下降。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The disposal of sludge generated by water treatment plants poses major financial and environmental problems. Drying of the sludge is an essential pan of any disposal process which may include incinerating, landfilling or upgrading. In the present study, experiments were carried out to investigate the drying of sludge in a spouted bed and to characterize the hydrodynamics and mass transfer mechanisms. The effect of bed moisture content on the minimum spouting velocity (Ums) was examined for sludge granules. Ums was found to increase with increasing the moisture content of the sludge particles. The gas phase mass transfer coefficient in the dryer was determined using porous calcined alumina particles and the results were compared with predictions by correlations available in the literature. The existing correlations gave poor predictions for the mass transfer coefficient. A new correlation for the mass transfer coefficient in a spouted bed dryer was developed based on the experimental results.  相似文献

以30%TBP(煤油)-HNO_3-H_2O为实验体系,在外柱内径为100mm的环形脉冲萃取柱中以4种不同隙径比进行了传质性能研究.实验测定了环形柱的稳态浓度剖面,以扩散模型为基础拟合求取了传质模型参数,建立了相应的关联式.研究结果表明,4种不同隙径比环形柱的“真实”传质单元高度H_(ox)值可以用相同关联式表述;分散单元高度H_(oxd)值则与隙径比的0.16次方成正比.与外柱内径为50mm的环形柱相比较,其H_(ox)值可采用相同关联式描述;其H_(oxd)值与环形柱外柱内径有关.这反映了外柱径对环形柱轴向混合的影响.  相似文献

Mass transfer in a slurry bubble column reactor was examined. A theoretical correlation for liquid-phase mass transfer coefficient was developed using a combination of Higbie's penetration theory and the Einstein-Li periodic viscous sublayer model. The proposed correlation predicts that the liquid-phase mass transfer coefficient decreases with an increase of the yield stress of slurries. The measurement of mass transfer rates was conducted in a 40-L bubble column reactor. The slurries containing low-density particles were simulated by aqueous carboxypolmethylene solutions. Satisfactory agreement was found between the proposed correlation and the experimental data.  相似文献

In an internal loop airlift reactor of 55L working volume,the gas-liquid volumetric oxygenmass transfer coefficient k_Lα,gas holdup ε_G and liquid circulation time t_c were measured with the sol-ution of carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC)to simulate the performance of a reactor with highly viscousbroth.Electric conductivity and oxygen probes were used to measure the local gas holdup,liquidcirculation time and oxygen mass transfer coefficient in the individual sections of the reactor(riser,downcomer and the gas-liquid separating section at the top of the reactor)and the total reactor,respectively.The values of k_Lα for the riser,downcomer and separation sections of the reactor were alsoestimated and compared with that for the total reactor.The results show that,both k_Lα and ε_G in-crease but t_c decreases with increasing gas velocity.Correlations and comparisons with works reportedin the literature are also presented.Data show that the methods developed for k_Lα measurements inthe individual section and  相似文献

Pressure drop and oxygen desorption from water and four other aqueous CMC solutions were determined in a 5 cm diameter multistage bubble column with and without plate reciprocation. The plates were made from stainless steel wire screens of porosities greater than 0.62. The column pressure loss was found to increase with plate agitation, phase velocities and screen mesh number. A modified Reynolds number was proposed to permit a reasonable prediction of the pressure loss, based on the model of Noh and Baird (1984). At a specific power consumption, the present volumetric mass transfer coefficients arc considerably larger than those reported in earlier studies with sieve plates. The coefficients were correlated with specific power input, phase flow velocities and system physical properties.  相似文献

An experimental program has been initiated to evaluate the performance of a reciprocating plate bioreactor for its use in viscous fermentations. The investigation is divided into three parts: (1) to study the hydrodynamics within the bioreactor, (2) to determine the axial dispersion coefficient and the overall oxygen mass transfer coefficient as a function of the operating conditions, and (3) the evaluation of a reciprocating plate column as a bioreactor for viscous fermentations. This paper reports on the determination of the axial dispersion coefficient and on the measurement of the overall oxygen transfer coefficient. Experiments were done in water on a semi batch scheme (no water flow) in a 1.26m high and 101.6mm internal diameter column.

It was found that the axial dispersion coefficient is a strong function of the reciprocation speed whereas it is relatively unaffected by the aeration flow rate. The overall oxygen transfer coefficient was determined with two separate methods: (1) the sulfite oxidation method which is based on the conversion of sulfite into sulfate to calculate the overall oxygen transfer coefficient, and (2) the gassing-out method which uses dissolved oxygen responses at various locations inside the column to determine the local mass transfer coefficient. It was found that higher values of the oxygen transfer coefficient prevail within the reciprocating plate bioreactor than in other types of mixing devices, for an identical volumetric power input.  相似文献

Abstract

Based on the locus of ink on the well-rotating disc, a model for the mean residence time of liquid in a rotating packed bed, t = ?′ ε (ctg(α2/2) ? ctg (α1/2))ωu), is proposed. Model predictions agreed with the reported data with relative error within ±15%. A modified surface renewal model based on Danckwerts, is used. For evaluation of the mass transfer coefficient, prediction of surface renewal frequency 5 is assumed as S =?ω(?is a model parameter), and effective contact time t is determined by the residence time model. 从气相含率,液体循环速度和体积氧传质系数方面研究自行设计新型结构的三重环流生物流化床的流体力学与传质特性。流化床反应器的有效体积23L,实验条件是以空气为气相,水为液相,树脂为固相,固含率分别为0%,3%,6%和9%。实验结果表明,气相含率是影响反应器流体力学和传质特性的主要因素,气相含率增大可降低液体循环速度,增大体积氧传质系数。  相似文献

The mass transfer coefficient between the static and dynamic hold-ups in a packed column was studied experimentally by using a salt tracer technique. The viscosity and the surface tension of the irrigating water were varied over a wide range by using additivies. The correlation developed for predicting the mass transfer coefficient involves the Weber number as well as the Reynolds number.  相似文献
