Aggregates of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) that mediate the assembly of manganese dioxide nanoparticles (nano-MnO2) for hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) amperometric sensing have been developed. The aggregates were prepared by directly mixing citric-capped AuNPs and poly(allylamine hydrochloride) (PAH)-capped nano-MnO2 using an electrostatic self-assembly strategy. The prepared sensor exhibited excellent electrochemical behaviors and a wide linear range from 7.80 × 10−7 to 8.36 × 10−4 M with a detection limit of 4.68 × 10−8 M (S/N = 3) because of the synergistic influence of excellent catalytic ability of MnO2 and good electrical conductivity of AuNPs. In addition, its applicability to practical samples for measuring H2O2 in toothpastes has obtained a satisfactory result. Due to the ease of preparation and excellent properties of the sensor, indicating the MnO2-AuNP material may be a potential H2O2 sensor.  相似文献

We have developed a polyaniline/carboxy-functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotube (PAn/MWCNTCOOH) nanocomposite by blending the emeraldine base form of polyaniline (PAn) and carboxy-functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) in dried dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) at room temperature. The conductivity of the resulting PAn/MWCNTCOOH was 3.6 × 10−3 S cm−1, mainly as a result of the protonation of the PAn with the carboxyl group and the radical cations of the MWCNT fragments. Horseradish peroxidase (HRP) was immobilized within the PAn/MWCNTCOOH nanocomposite modified Au (PAn/MWCNTCOOH/Au) electrode to form HRP/PAn/MWCNTCOOH/Au for use as a hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) sensor. The adsorption between the negatively charged PAn/MWCNTCOOH nanocomposite and the positively charged HRP resulted in a very good sensitivity to H2O2 and an increased electrochemically catalytical current during cyclic voltammetry. The HRP/PAn/MWCNTCOOH/Au electrode exhibited a broad linear response range for H2O2 concentrations (86 μM–10 mM). This sensor exhibited good sensitivity (194.9 μA mM−1 cm−2), a fast response time (2.9 s), and good reproducibility and stability at an applied potential of −0.35 V. The construction of the enzymatic sensor demonstrated the potential application of PAn/MWCNTCOOH nanocomposites for the detection of H2O2 with high performance and excellent stability.  相似文献

Graphene was prepared successfully by introducing -SO3 to separate the individual sheets. TEM, EDS and Raman spectroscopy were utilized to characterize the morphology and composition of graphene oxide and graphene. To construct the H2O2 biosensor, graphene and horseradish peroxidase (HRP) were co-immobilized into biocompatible polymer chitosan (CS), then a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was modified by the biocomposite, followed by electrodeposition of Au nanoparticles on the surface to fabricate Au/graphene/HRP/CS/GCE. Cyclic voltammetry demonstrated that the direct electron transfer of HRP was realized, and the biosensor had an excellent performance in terms of electrocatalytic reduction towards H2O2. The biosensor showed high sensitivity and fast response upon the addition of H2O2, under the conditions of pH 6.5, potential −0.3 V. The time to reach the stable-state current was less than 3 s, and the linear range to H2O2 was from 5 × 10−6 M to 5.13 × 10−3 M with a detection limit of 1.7 × 10−6 M (S/N = 3). Moreover, the biosensor exhibited good reproducibility and long-term stability.  相似文献

Kinetic and transport parameters of Li ion during its extraction/insertion into thin film LiNi0.5Mn0.5O2 free of binder and conductive additive were provided in this work. LiNi0.5Mn0.5O2 thin film electrodes were grown on Au substrates by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) and post-annealed. The annealed films exhibit a pure layered phase with a high degree of crystallinity. Surface morphology and thin film thickness were investigated by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). The charge/discharge behavior and rate capability of the thin film electrodes were investigated on Li/LiNi0.5Mn0.5O2 cells at different current densities. The kinetics of Li diffusion in these thin film electrodes were investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and galvanostatic intermittent titration technique (GITT). CV was measured between 2.5 and 4.5 V at different scan rates from 0.1 to 2 mV/s. The apparent chemical diffusion coefficients of Li in the thin film electrode were calculated to be 3.13 × 10−13 cm2/s for Li intercalation and 7.44 × 10−14 cm2/s for Li deintercalation. The chemical diffusion coefficients of Li in the thin film electrode were determined to be in the range of 10−12-10−16 cm2/s at different cell potentials by GITT. It is found that the Li diffusivity is highly dependent on the cell potential.  相似文献

The direct electrochemistry of hemoglobin (Hb) has been achieved by immobilizing Hb on mesoporous Al2O3 (meso-Al2O3) film modified glassy carbon (GC) electrode. Meso-Al2O3 shows significant promotion to the direct electron-transfer of Hb, thus it exhibits a pair of well defined and quasi-reversible peaks with a formal potential of −0.345 V (vs. SCE). The electron-transfer rate constant (ks) is estimated to be 3.17 s−1. The immobilized Hb retains its biological activity well and shows high catalytic activity to the reduction of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and nitrite (NO2). Under the optimized experimental conditions, the catalytic currents are linear to the concentrations of H2O2 and NO2 in the ranges of 0.195-20.5 μM and 0.2-10 mM, respectively. The corresponding detection limits are 1.95 × 10−8 M and 3 × 10−5 M (S/N = 3). The resulting protein electrode has high thermal stability and good reproducibility due to the protection effect of meso-Al2O3. Ultraviolet visible (UV-vis) absorption spectra and reflection-absorption infrared (RAIR) spectra display that Hb keeps almost natural structure in the meso-Al2O3 film. The N2 adsorption-desorption experiments show that the pore size of meso-Al2O3 is about 14.4 nm, suiting for the encapsulation of Hb (average size: 5.5 nm) well. Therefore, meso-Al2O3 is an alternative matrix for protein immobilization and biosensor preparation.  相似文献

In this work, graphene/prussian blue (PB) composite nanosheets with good dispersibility in aqueous solutions have been synthesized by mixing ferric-(III) chloride and potassium ferricyanide in the presence of graphene under ambient conditions. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) shows that the average size of the as-synthesized PB nanoparticles on the surface of graphene nanosheets is about 20 nm. Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns have been used to characterize the chemical composition of the obtained graphene/PB composite nanosheets. The graphene/PB composite nanosheets exhibit good electrocatalytic behavior to detection of H2O2 at an applied potential of −0.05 V. The sensor shows a good linear dependence on H2O2 concentration in the range of 0.02-0.2 mM with a sensitivity of 196.6 μA mM−1 cm−2. The detection limit is 1.9 μM at the signal-to-noise ratio of 3. Furthermore, the graphene/PB modified electrode exhibits freedom of interference from other co-existing electroactive species. This work provides a new kind of composite modified electrode for amperometric biosensors.  相似文献

[PFeW11O39]4− (PFeW11) supported on the surface of 3-aminopropyl(triethoxy)silane modified silica gel was synthesized and used as a bulk modifier to fabricate a renewable three-dimensional chemically modified electrode. The electrochemical behavior of the modified electrode was investigated. Cyclic voltammetry studies showed that the PFeW11 on the electrode surface sustained the same electrochemical properties as that of the PFeW11 in solution. The preparation of chemically modified electrode is simple and quiet reproducible using inexpensive material. The modified electrode had high electrocatalytic activity toward H2O2 reduction and it was successfully applied as an electrochemical detector to monitor H2O2 in flow injection analysis (FIA). The electrocatalytic peak current was found to be linear with the H2O2 concentration in the range 10-200 μmol L−1 with a correlation coefficient of 0.998 and a detection limit (3σ) of 7.4 μmol L−1 H2O2. The electrode has the remarkable advantage of surface renewal owing to bulk modification, as well as simple preparation, good mechanical and chemical stability and reproducibility.  相似文献

Micro-spherical particle of MnCO3 has been successfully synthesized in CTAB-C8H18-C4H9OH-H2O micro-emulsion system. Mn2O3 decomposed from the MnCO3 is mixed with Li2CO3 and sintered at 800 °C for 12 h, and the pure spinel LiMn2O4 in sub-micrometer size is obtained. The LiMn2O4 has initial discharge specific capacity of 124 mAh g−1 at discharge current of 120 mA g−1 between 3 and 4.2 V, and retains 118 mAh g−1 after 110 cycles. High-rate capability test shows that even at a current density of 16 C, capacity about 103 mAh g−1 is delivered, whose power is 57 times of that at 0.2 C. The capacity loss rate at 55 °C is 0.27% per cycle.  相似文献

The La2−xAxMo2O9−δ (A = Ca2+, Sr2+, Ba2+ and K+) series has been synthesised as nanocrystalline materials via a modification of the freeze-drying method. The resulting materials have been characterised by X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermal analysis (TG/DTA, DSC), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM). The high-temperature β-polymorph is stabilised for dopant content x > 0.01. The nanocrystalline powders were used to obtain dense ceramic materials with optimised microstructure and relative density >95%. The overall conductivity determined by impedance spectroscopy depends on both the ionic radius and dopant content. The conductivity decreases slightly as the dopant content increases in addition a maximum conductivity value was found for Sr2+ substitution, which show an ionic radii slightly higher than La3+ (e.g. 0.08 S cm−1 for La2Mo2O9 and 0.06 S cm−1 for La1.9Sr0.1Mo2O9−δ at 973 K). The creation of extrinsic vacancies upon substitution results in a wider stability range under reducing conditions and prevents amorphisation, although the stability is not enhanced significantly when compared to samples with higher tungsten content. These materials present high thermal expansion coefficients in the range of (13-16) × 10−6 K−1 between room temperature and 753 K and (18-20) × 10−6 K−1 above 823 K. The ionic transport numbers determined by a modified emf method remain above 0.98 under an oxygen partial pressure gradient of O2/air and decreases substantially under wet 5% H2-Ar/air when approaching to the degradation temperature above 973 K due to an increase of the electronic contribution to the overall conductivity.  相似文献

Porous aluminum oxide (Al2O3) preforms were formed by sintering in air at 1200 °C for 2 h. A356, 6061, and 1050 aluminum alloys were infiltrated into the preforms by squeeze casting in order to fabricate Al2O3/A356, Al2O3/6061, and Al2O3/1050 composites, respectively, with different volumes of aluminum alloy content. The content of aluminum alloy in the composites was 10–40% by volume. The resistivity of Al2O3/A356, Al2O3/6061, and Al2O3/1050 composites decreased dramatically from 6.41 × 1012 to 9.77 × 10−4, 7.28 × 10−4, and 6.24 × 10−4 Ω m, respectively, the four-points bending strength increased from 397 to 443, 435.1, 407.2 MPa, respectively, and the deviations were smaller than 2%. From SEM microstructural analysis and TEM bright field images, the pore volume fraction and the relative density of the composites were the most important factors that affected the physical and mechanical properties. The ceramic phase and alloy phase in Al2O3/aluminum alloy composites were found to be homogenized and uniformly distributed using electrical and mechanical properties analysis, microstructure analysis, and image analysis.  相似文献

Indium oxide (In2O3) microspheres with hollow interiors have been prepared by a facile implantation route which enables indium ions released from indium-chloride precursors to implant into nonporous polymeric templates in C2Cl4 solvent. The templates are then removed upon calcination at 500 °C in air atmosphere, forming hollow In2O3 particles. Specific surface area (0.5-260 m2 g−1) and differential pore volume (7 × 10−9 to 3.8 × 10−4 m3 g−1 Å−1) of the hollow particles can be tailored by adjusting the precursor concentration. For the hollow In2O3 particles with high surface area (260 m2 g−1), an enhanced photocatalytic efficiency (up to ∼one-fold increase) against methylene blue (MB) dye is obtained under UV exposure for the aqueous In2O3 colloids with a dilute solids concentration of 0.02 wt.%.  相似文献

A monolayer of Keggin-type heteropolyanion [SiNi(H2O)W11O39]6− was fabricated by electrodepositing [SiNi(H2O)W11O39]6− on cysteamine modified gold electrode. The monolayer of [SiNi(H2O)W11O39]6− modified gold electrode was characterized by atomic force microscopy (AFM) and electrochemical method. AFM results showed the [SiNi(H2O)W11O39]6− uniformly deposited on the electrode surface and formed a porous monolayer. Cyclic voltammetry exhibited one oxidation peak and two reduction peaks in 1.0 M H2SO4 in the potential range of −0.2 to 0.7 V. The constructed electrode could exist in a large pH (0-7.6) range and showed good catalytic activity towards the reduction of bromate anion (BrO3) and nitrite (NO2), and oxidation of ascorbic acid (AA) in acidic solution. The well catalytic active of the electrode was ascribed to the porous structure of the [SiNi(H2O)W11O39]6 monolayer.  相似文献

The electrochemical properties of nanocomposite Fe2O3-Se thin film prepared by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) method have been investigated by cyclic voltammetry and charge/discharge measurements. A large reversible capacity of nanocomposite Fe2O3-Se thin film was found to be around 650 mAh g−1. A new couple of reduction and oxidation peaks at 1.4 and 1.8 V were observed from cyclic voltammogram for the first time. Our data demonstrated that nanocomposite Fe2O3-Se exhibit larger capacity and better cycle performance than pure Fe2O3. The electrochemical reaction mechanisms of Fe2O3-Se with lithium were examined by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) and selected-area electron diffraction (SAED). The reversible conversions reaction of nanosized metal Fe with Li2Se and Li2O formed after initial discharge process into FeSe and Fe2O3 respectively were revealed.  相似文献

A composite of Sc2W3O12/Cu where Sc2W3O12, the core, is coated by the Cu shell was synthesized using simple electroless plating method. As-prepared Sc2W3O12/Cu composites were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS) and thermomechanical analyzer (TMA) techniques. The study results show that the Pd-Sn activator was successfully formed on the surface of Sc2W3O12 after the sensitization and activation. In the electroless plating process, Cu nanocrystals formed firstly, and then grew together to form a continuous coating. Sc2W3O12/Cu core-shell composites exhibit a negative linear coefficient of thermal expansion CTE = −4.47 × 10−6 °C−1 from room temperature to 200 °C.  相似文献

The kinetics of decolorization of Malachite Green (MG) as a model cationic dye from textile industry, by US/UV/H2O2 process, was investigated with nonlinear regression analysis. The experimental results indicated that the decolorization kinetics of MG in this process fit well by pseudo-first order kinetics. With nonlinear regression analysis a model was developed for pseudo-first order constant (kap) as a function of operational parameters such as initial concentrations of H2O2 (25-600 mg l− 1) and MG (1.82-9.87 mg l− 1), temperature (294-307 K) and power density (0.049-0.16 W ml− 1) as following:

Anhydrous proton-conducting inorganic-organic hybrid membranes were prepared by sol-gel process with tetramethoxysilane/methyl-trimethoxysilane/trimethylphosphate and 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium-bis (trifluoromethanesulfonyl) imide [EMI][TFSI] ionic liquid as precursors. These hybrid membranes were studied with respect to their structural, thermal, proton conductivity, and hydrogen permeability properties. The Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and 31P, 1H, and 13C nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measurements have shown good chemical stability, and complexation of PO(OCH3)3 with [EMI][TFSI] ionic liquid in the studied hybrid membranes. Thermal analysis including TG and DTA confirmed that the membranes were thermally stable up to 330 °C. Thermal stability of the hybrid membranes was significantly enhanced by the presence of inorganic SiO2 framework and high stability of [TFSI] anion. The effect of [EMI][TFSI] ionic liquid addition on the microstructure of the membranes was studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX) micrographs and no phase separation at the surfaces of the prepared membranes was observed and also homogeneous distribution of all elements was confirmed. Proton conductivity of all the prepared membranes was measured from −20 °C to 150 °C, and high conductivity of 5.4 × 10−3 S/cm was obtained for 40 wt% [EMI][TFSI] doped 40TMOS-50MTMOS-10PO(OCH3)3 (mol%) hybrid membrane, at 150 °C under anhydrous conditions. The hydrogen permeability was found to decrease from 1.61 × 10−11 to 1.39 × 10−12 mol/cm s Pa for 40 wt% [EMI][TFSI] doped hybrid membrane as the temperature increases from 20 °C to 150 °C. For 40 wt% [EMI][TFSI] doped hybrid membrane, membrane electrode assemblies were prepared and a maximum power density value of 0.22 mW/cm2 at 0.47 mA/cm2 as well as a current density of 0.76 mA/cm2 were obtained at 150 °C under non-humidified conditions when utilized in a H2/O2 fuel cell.  相似文献

Direct synthesis of H2O2 acid solutions was studied using a gas-diffusion cathode prepared from activated carbon (AC), vapor-growing-carbon-fiber (VGCF) and poly-tetra-fluoro-ethylene (PTFE) powders, with a new H2/O2 fuel cell reactor. O2 reduction to H2O2 was remarkably enhanced at the three-phase boundary (O2(g)-electrode(s)-acid(l)) at the [AC + VGCF] cathode. Fast diffusion processes of O2 to the active surface and of H2O2 to the bulk acid solutions were essential for H2O2 accumulation. Synergy of AC and VGCF was observed for the H2O2 formation. RRDE and cyclic voltammetry studies indicated that the surface of AC functioned as the active phase for O2 reduction to HO2, and VGCF functioned as an electron conductor and a promoter to convert HO2 to H2O2. A maximum H2O2 concentration of 353 mM (1.2 wt%) was accomplished under short-circuit conditions (current density 12.7 mA cm−2, current efficiency 40.1%, geometric area of cathode 1.3 cm2, reaction time 6 h).  相似文献

The complex perovskite oxide Ba(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 (BZN) has been studied for its attractive dielectric properties which place this material interesting for applications as multilayer ceramics capacitors or hyperfrequency resonators. This material is sinterable at low temperature with combined glass phase–lithium salt additions, and exhibits, at 1 MHz very low dielectric losses combined with relatively high dielectric constant and a good stability of this later versus temperature. The 2 wt.% of ZnO–SiO2–B2O3 glass phase and 1 wt.% of LiF-added BZN sample sintered at 900 °C exhibits a relative density higher than 95% and attractive dielectric properties: a dielectric constant ?r of 39, low dielectrics losses (tan(δ) < 10−3) and a temperature coefficient of permittivity τ? of 45 ppm/°C−1. The 2 wt.% ZnO–SiO2–B2O3 glass phase and 1 wt.% of B2O3-added BZN sintered at 930 °C exhibits also attractive dielectric properties (?r = 38, tan(δ) < 10−3) and it is more interesting in terms of temperature coefficient of the permittivity (τ? = −5 ppm/°C). Their good dielectric properties and their compatibility with Ag electrodes, make these ceramics suitable for L.T.C.C applications.  相似文献

This work demonstrates that iron-enriched natural zeolitic volcanic tuff (Paglisa deposit, Cluj county, Transilvania, Romania) resulting from a previous use as adsorbent in wastewater treatment can be recycled into effective electrode modifier applied to the electrocatalytic detection of hydrogen peroxide. After physico-chemical characterization of tuff samples using various techniques such as chemical analysis, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, infrared spectroscopy, BET analysis and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, the electrochemical response of the iron-enriched zeolites was studied on the basis of solid carbon paste electrodes modified with these samples. The results indicate that iron centers in the zeolite are electroactive and that they act as electrocatalysts in the voltammetric and amperometric detection of H2O2. Best performance was achieved in phosphate buffer at pH 7, showing a sensitivity of 0.57 mA M−1 cm−2, a detection limit down to 60 μM, and a linear domain up to 100 mM H2O2.  相似文献

In this work, Ni(OH)2 nanoplates grown on the Cu substrate were synthesized and characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Then a novel Cu-Ni(OH)2 modified glass carbon electrode (Cu-Ni(OH)2/GCE) was fabricated and evaluated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), cyclic voltammetry (CV), and typical amperometric response (i-t) method. Exhilaratingly, the Cu-Ni(OH)2/GCE shows significant electrocatalytic activity toward the reduction of H2O2. At an applied potential of −0.1 V, the sensor produces an ultrahigh sensitivity of 408.1 μA mM−1 with a low detection limit of 1.5 μM (S/N = 3). The response time of the proposed electrode was less than 5 s. What's more, the proposed sensor displays excellent selectivity, good stability, and satisfying repeatability.  相似文献
