The kinetics of decolorization of Malachite Green (MG) as a model cationic dye from textile industry, by US/UV/H2O2 process, was investigated with nonlinear regression analysis. The experimental results indicated that the decolorization kinetics of MG in this process fit well by pseudo-first order kinetics. With nonlinear regression analysis a model was developed for pseudo-first order constant (kap) as a function of operational parameters such as initial concentrations of H2O2 (25-600 mg l− 1) and MG (1.82-9.87 mg l− 1), temperature (294-307 K) and power density (0.049-0.16 W ml− 1) as following:

Layered metastable lithium manganese oxides, Li2/3[Ni1/3−xMn2/3−yMx+y]O2 (x = y = 1/36 for M = Al, Co, and Fe and x = 2/36, y = 0 for M = Mg) were prepared by the ion exchange of Li for Na in P2-Na2/3[Ni1/3−xMn2/3−yMx+y]O2 precursors. The Al and Co doping produced the T#2 structure with the space group Cmca. On the other hand, the Fe and Mg doped samples had the O6 structure with space group R-3m. Electron diffraction revealed the 1:2 type ordering within the Ni1/3−xMn2/3−yMx+yO2 slab. It was found that the stacking sequence and electrochemical performance of the Li cells containing T#2-Li2/3[Ni1/3Mn2/3]O2 were affected by the doping with small amounts of Al, Co, Fe, and Mg. The discharge capacity of the Al doped sample was around 200 mAh g−1 in the voltage range between 2.0 and 4.7 V at the current density of 14.4 mA g−1 along with a good capacity retention. Moreover, for the Al and Co doped and undoped oxides, the irreversible phase transition of the T#2 into the O2 structure was observed during the initial lithium deintercalation.  相似文献

Indium oxide (In2O3) microspheres with hollow interiors have been prepared by a facile implantation route which enables indium ions released from indium-chloride precursors to implant into nonporous polymeric templates in C2Cl4 solvent. The templates are then removed upon calcination at 500 °C in air atmosphere, forming hollow In2O3 particles. Specific surface area (0.5-260 m2 g−1) and differential pore volume (7 × 10−9 to 3.8 × 10−4 m3 g−1 Å−1) of the hollow particles can be tailored by adjusting the precursor concentration. For the hollow In2O3 particles with high surface area (260 m2 g−1), an enhanced photocatalytic efficiency (up to ∼one-fold increase) against methylene blue (MB) dye is obtained under UV exposure for the aqueous In2O3 colloids with a dilute solids concentration of 0.02 wt.%.  相似文献

Li2FeSiO4/carbon/carbon nano-tubes (Li2FeSiO4/C/CNTs) and Li2FeSiO4/carbon (Li2FeSiO4/C) composites were synthesized by a traditional solid-state reaction method and characterized comparatively by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, BET surface area measurement, galvanostatic charge-discharge and AC impedance spectroscopy, respectively. The results revealed that the Li2FeSiO4/C/CNT composite exhibited much better rate performance in comparison with the Li2FeSiO4/C composite. At 0.2 C, 5 C and 10 C, the former composite electrode delivered a discharge capacity of 142 mAh g−1, 95 mAh g−1, 80 mAh g−1, respectively, and after 100 cycles at 1 C, the discharge capacity remained 95.1% of its initial value.  相似文献

Ultrasonic degradation of Basic Red 29 (BR29) textile dye in the presence of Co2+-H2O2 system was investigated in this study. The effects of presence of ultrasonic power, concentrations of cobalt (II) acetate (Co(II)Act) and H2O2, temperature and initial pH on the BR29 degradation were examined. Initial dye concentration of 20 mg/L BR29 was used in the study as a model solution. In sonication experiments, an ultrasonic bath at a frequency of 40 kHz was employed. Best experimental conditions were also obtained in the studies as follows: 1000 mg/L Co(II)Act, 1000 mg/L H2O2, 40 °C and original pH of 6.70.According to the results, after 30 min of sonication in the presence of Co2+-H2O2 dye removal efficiency of practically 100% was achieved. It was also found that US enhanced the degradation rate of BR29.  相似文献

Non-spherical Li(Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3)O2 powders have been synthesized using a two-step drying method with 5% excess LiOH at 800 °C for 20 h. The tap-density of the powder obtained is 2.95 g cm−3. This value is remarkably higher than that of the Li(Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3)O2 powders obtained by other methods, which range from 1.50 g cm−3 to 2.40 g cm−3. The precursor and Li(Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3)O2 are characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). XPS studies show that the predominant oxidation states of Ni, Co and Mn in the precursor are 2+, 3+ and 4+, respectively. XRD results show that the Li(Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3)O2 material obtained by the two-step drying method has a well-layered structure with a small amount of cation mixing. SEM confirms that the Li(Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3)O2 particles obtained by this method are uniform. The initial discharge capacity of 167 mAh g−1 is obtained between 3 V and 4.3 V at a current of 0.2 C rate. The capacity of 159 mAh g−1 is retained at the end of 30 charge-discharge cycle with a capacity retention of 95%.  相似文献

Uniform and spherical Li(Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3)O(2−δ)Fδ powders were synthesized via NH3 and F coordination hydroxide co-precipitation. The effect of F coordination agent on the morphology, structure and electrochemical properties of the Li(Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3)O(2−δ)Fδ were studied. The morphology, size, and distribution of (Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3)(OH)(2−δ)Fδ particle diameter were improved in a shorter reaction time through the addition of F. The study suggested that the added F improves the layered characteristics of the lattice and the cyclic performance of Li(Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3)O2 in the voltage range of 2.8-4.6 V. The initial capacity of the Li(Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3)O1.96F0.04 was 178 mAh g−1, the maximum capacity was 186 mAh g−1 and the capacity after 50 cycles was 179 mAh g−1 in the voltage range of 2.8-4.6 V.  相似文献

Au nanoparticles (AuNPs) are good quenchers once they closely contact with luminophore. Here we reported a simple approach to obtain enhanced electrogenerated chemiluminescence (ECL) behavior based on Au/CdS nanocomposite films by adjusting the amount of AuNPs in the nanocomposite. The maximum enhancement factor of about 4 was obtained at an indium tin oxide (ITO) electrode in the presence of co-reactant H2O2. The mechanism of this enhancement was discussed in detail. The strong ECL emission from Au/CdS nanocomposites film was exploited to determine H2O2. The resulting ECL biosensors showed a linear response to the concentration of H2O2 ranging from 1.0 × 10−8 to 6.6 × 10−4 mol L−1 with a detection limit of 5 nmol L−1 (S/N = 3) and good stability and reproducibility.  相似文献

A series of LiNi1/3Mn1/3Co1/3O2 samples with α-NaFeO2 structure belonging to the D3d5 space group were synthesized using tartaric acid as a chelating agent by wet-chemical method. Different acid to metal-ion ratios R have been used to investigate the effect of this parameter on the physical and electrochemical properties. We have characterized the reaction mechanism, the structure, and morphology of the powders by TGA, XRD, SEM and TEM imaging, completed by magnetic measurements, Raman scattering spectroscopy, and complex impedance experiments. We find that the LiNi1/3Mn1/3Co1/3O2 sintered at 900 °C for 15 h with an acid to metal-ion ratio R = 2 was the optimum condition for this synthesis. For this optimized sample, only 1.3% of nickel-ions occupied the 3b Wyckoff site of the lithium-ions sublattice. The electrochemical performance has been investigated using a coin-type cell containing Li metal as the anode. The electronic performance is correlated to the concentration of the Ni(3b) defects that increase the charge transfer resistance and reduce the lithium diffusion coefficient. The optimized cell delivered an initial discharge capacity of 172 mAh g−1 in the cut-off voltage of 2.8-4.4 V, with a coulombic efficiency of 93.4%.  相似文献

Micro-spherical particle of MnCO3 has been successfully synthesized in CTAB-C8H18-C4H9OH-H2O micro-emulsion system. Mn2O3 decomposed from the MnCO3 is mixed with Li2CO3 and sintered at 800 °C for 12 h, and the pure spinel LiMn2O4 in sub-micrometer size is obtained. The LiMn2O4 has initial discharge specific capacity of 124 mAh g−1 at discharge current of 120 mA g−1 between 3 and 4.2 V, and retains 118 mAh g−1 after 110 cycles. High-rate capability test shows that even at a current density of 16 C, capacity about 103 mAh g−1 is delivered, whose power is 57 times of that at 0.2 C. The capacity loss rate at 55 °C is 0.27% per cycle.  相似文献

Layered LiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2 materials were synthesized at different sintering temperatures using spray-drying precursor with molar ratio of Li/Me = 1.04 (Me = transition metals). The influences of sintering temperature on crystal structure, morphology and electrochemical performance of LiNi0.6Co0.2Mn0.2O2 materials have been characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and charge-discharge test. As a result, material synthesized at 850 °C has excellent electrochemical performance, delivering an initial discharge capacity of 173.1 mAh g− 1 between 2.8 and 4.3 V at a current density of 16 mA g− 1 and exhibiting good cycling performance.  相似文献

Cyclic voltammetry and degradation of dimethylphthalate (DMP) revealed that the iron-substituted heteropolytungstate anion PW11O39Fe(III)(H2O)4− is an excellent indirect cathodic oxidative electrocatalyst in the presence of H2O2. PW11O39Fe(III)(H2O)4− can electrocatalyze the reduction of H2O2 to hydroxyl radicals via an inner-sphere electron transfer mechanism, which cause oxidative decomposition of DMP. Almost complete DMP removal and ca. 30% mineralization were obtained in less than 120 min in a mixed phosphate solution at pH 6.86 containing 0.1 mM DMP. MS analyses of the intermediates and final products suggested that glyoxal, oxalic acid and acetic acid are the main ring-opening products, besides some unstable hydroxylated aromatic intermediates. The effects of added H2O2 concentration, applied cathodic potential and DMP initial concentration on the degradation of DMP were also investigated. A concentration of 1.0 mM H2O2 and cathodic potential of −0.3 V were optimal conditions for DMP degradation in our experiments. At higher initial DMP concentrations degradation also occurred, but at a slower decay rate compared to lower initial concentrations. The present system thus represents a possible method to use PW11O39Fe(III)(H2O)4− as an indirect cathodic oxidative electrocatalyst in water and wastewater treatment.  相似文献

The complex perovskite oxide Ba(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 (BZN) has been studied for its attractive dielectric properties which place this material interesting for applications as multilayer ceramics capacitors or hyperfrequency resonators. This material is sinterable at low temperature with combined glass phase–lithium salt additions, and exhibits, at 1 MHz very low dielectric losses combined with relatively high dielectric constant and a good stability of this later versus temperature. The 2 wt.% of ZnO–SiO2–B2O3 glass phase and 1 wt.% of LiF-added BZN sample sintered at 900 °C exhibits a relative density higher than 95% and attractive dielectric properties: a dielectric constant ?r of 39, low dielectrics losses (tan(δ) < 10−3) and a temperature coefficient of permittivity τ? of 45 ppm/°C−1. The 2 wt.% ZnO–SiO2–B2O3 glass phase and 1 wt.% of B2O3-added BZN sintered at 930 °C exhibits also attractive dielectric properties (?r = 38, tan(δ) < 10−3) and it is more interesting in terms of temperature coefficient of the permittivity (τ? = −5 ppm/°C). Their good dielectric properties and their compatibility with Ag electrodes, make these ceramics suitable for L.T.C.C applications.  相似文献

A carbonate co-precipitation method was employed to prepare spherical Li[Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3]O2 cathode material. The precursor, [Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3]CO3, was prepared using ammonia as chelating agent under CO2 atmosphere. The spherical Li[Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3]O2 was prepared by mixing the precalcined [Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3]CO3 with LiOH followed by high temperature calcination. The preparation conditions such as ammonia concentration, co-precipitation temperature, calcination temperature and Li/[Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3] ratio were varied to optimize the physical and electrochemical properties of the prepared Li[Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3]O2. The structural, morphological, and electrochemical properties of the prepared LiNi1/3Co1/3Mn1/3O2 were characterized by XRD, SEM, and galvanostatic charge-discharge cycling. The optimized material has a spherical particle shape and a well ordered layered structure, and it also has an initial discharge capacity of 162.7 mAh g− 1 in a voltage range of 2.8-4.3 V and a capacity retention of 94.8% after a hundred cycles. The optimized ammonia concentration, co-precipitation temperature, calcination temperature, and Li/[Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3] ratio are 0.3 mol L− 1, 60 °C, 850 °C, and 1.10, respectively.  相似文献

Geosmin was effectively removed using an electrochemical method at the Ti/RuO2-Pt anode in the presence of NaCl as a reactant. At a current density of 40 mA cm−2, the geosmin concentration decreased from 600 ng L−1 to 6 ng L−1 in 60 min in the presence of 3.0 g L−1 NaCl. HOCl formed during electrolysis would likely play an important role in the geosmin oxidation. The electrochemical method exhibited good performance for geosmin removal under various conditions. The geosmin removal rate increased with increasing current density, while the geosmin removal rates were similar at different initial pH values. The Ti/RuO2-Pt anode also performed well for electrochemical degradation of geosmin at both low and high concentrations. According to the present experimental results, the electrochemical method should be a promising alternative for the efficient and rapid removal of musty odor compounds in a water treatment process.  相似文献

Electrochemical and thermal properties of Co3(PO4)2- and AlPO4-coated LiNi0.8Co0.2O2 cathode materials were compared. AlPO4-coated LiNi0.8Co0.2O2 cathodes exhibited an original specific capacity of 170.8 mAh g−1 and had a capacity retention (89.1% of its initial capacity) between 4.35 and 3.0 V after 60 cycles at 150 mA g−1. Co3(PO4)2-coated LiNi0.8Co0.2O2 cathodes exhibited an original specific capacity of 177.6 mAh g−1 and excellent capacity retention (91.8% of its initial capacity), which was attributed to a lithium-reactive Co3(PO4)2 coating. The Co3(PO4)2 coating material could react with LiOH and Li2CO3 impurities during annealing to form an olivine LixCoPO4 phase on the bulk surface, which minimized any side reactions with electrolytes and the dissolution of Ni4+ ions compared to the AlPO4-coated cathode. Differential scanning calorimetry results showed Co3(PO4)2-coated LiNi0.8Co0.2O2 cathode material had a much improved onset temperature of the oxygen evolution of about 218 °C, and a much lower amount of exothermic-heat release compared to the AlPO4-coated sample.  相似文献

The La2−xAxMo2O9−δ (A = Ca2+, Sr2+, Ba2+ and K+) series has been synthesised as nanocrystalline materials via a modification of the freeze-drying method. The resulting materials have been characterised by X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermal analysis (TG/DTA, DSC), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM). The high-temperature β-polymorph is stabilised for dopant content x > 0.01. The nanocrystalline powders were used to obtain dense ceramic materials with optimised microstructure and relative density >95%. The overall conductivity determined by impedance spectroscopy depends on both the ionic radius and dopant content. The conductivity decreases slightly as the dopant content increases in addition a maximum conductivity value was found for Sr2+ substitution, which show an ionic radii slightly higher than La3+ (e.g. 0.08 S cm−1 for La2Mo2O9 and 0.06 S cm−1 for La1.9Sr0.1Mo2O9−δ at 973 K). The creation of extrinsic vacancies upon substitution results in a wider stability range under reducing conditions and prevents amorphisation, although the stability is not enhanced significantly when compared to samples with higher tungsten content. These materials present high thermal expansion coefficients in the range of (13-16) × 10−6 K−1 between room temperature and 753 K and (18-20) × 10−6 K−1 above 823 K. The ionic transport numbers determined by a modified emf method remain above 0.98 under an oxygen partial pressure gradient of O2/air and decreases substantially under wet 5% H2-Ar/air when approaching to the degradation temperature above 973 K due to an increase of the electronic contribution to the overall conductivity.  相似文献

The electrochemical oxidation of Ibuprofen (Ibu) was performed using a Ti/Pt/PbO2 electrode as the anode, prepared according to literature, and a boron doped diamond (BDD) electrode, commercially available at Adamant Technologies. Tests were performed with model solutions of Ibu, with concentrations ranging from 0.22 to 1.75 mM for the Ti/Pt/PbO2 electrode and 1.75 mM for the BDD electrode, using 0.035 M Na2SO4 as the electrolyte, in a batch cell, at different current densities (10, 20 and 30 mA cm−2). Absorbance measurements, Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and Total Organic Carbon (TOC) tests were conducted for all samples. The results have shown a very good degradation of Ibu, with COD removals between 60 and 95% and TOC removals varying from 48 to 92%, in 6 h experiments, with higher values obtained with the BDD electrode. General Current Efficiency and Mineralization Current Efficiency, determined for both electrodes, show a similar behaviour for 20 mA cm−2 but a very different one at 30 mA cm−2. The combustion efficiency was also determined for both anodes, and found to be slightly higher with BDD at lower current density and equal to 100% for both anodes at 30 mA cm−2.  相似文献

Li[Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3]O2 cathode material for lithium ion batteries was prepared by mixing metal hydroxide, (Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3)(OH)2, with 6% excess LiOH followed by calcinations. The (Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3)(OH)2 with secondary particle of about 12 μm was prepared by hydroxide co-precipitation. The tap density of the obtained Li[Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3]O2 powder was 2.56 ± 0.21 g cm−3. The powder was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), particle size distribution (PSD) and galvanostatic charge-discharge cycling. The XRD pattern of Li[Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3]O2 revealed a well ordered hexagonal layered structure with low cation mixing. Secondary particles with size of 13-14 μm and primary particles with size of about 1 μm can be identified from the SEM observations. In the voltage range of 2.8-4.3 V, the initial discharge capacity of the Li[Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3]O2 electrode was 166.6 mAh g−1, and 96.5% of the initial capacity was retained after 50 charge-discharge cycling.  相似文献

Electrochemical activities and structural features of Pt/Sn catalysts supported by hydrogen-reduced SnO2 nanowires (SnO2NW) are studied, using cyclic voltammetry, CO stripping voltammetry, scanning electron microscopy, and X-ray diffraction analysis. The SnO2NW supports have been grown on a carbon paper which is commercially available for gas diffusion purposes. Partial reduction of SnO2NW raises the CO tolerance of the Pt/Sn catalyst considerably. The zero-valence tin plays a significant role in lowering the oxidation potential of COads. For a carbon paper electrode loaded with 0.1 mg cm−2 Pt and 0.4 mg cm−2 SnO2NW, a conversion of 54% SnO2NW into Sn metal (0.17 mg cm−2) initiates the COads oxidation reaction at 0.08 V (vs. Ag/AgCl), shifts the peak position by 0.21 V, and maximizes the CO tolerance. Further reduction damages the support structure, reduces the surface area, and deteriorates the catalytic activity. The presence of Sn metal enhances the activities of both methanol and ethanol oxidation, with a more pronounced effect on the oxidation current of ethanol whose optimal value is analogous to those of PtSn/C catalysts reported in literature. In comparison with a commercial PtRu/C catalyst, the optimal Pt/Sn/SnO2NW/CP exhibits a somewhat inferior activity toward methanol, and a superior activity toward ethanol oxidation.  相似文献
