Der Stand der Forschung zur Erfolgsmessung von Informationssystemen

Measuring information systems (IS) success is of great interest to both researchers and practitioners. This article examines multidimensional approaches to measuring IS success and explores the current state of IS success research through a literature review and by classifying articles published between 2003 and 2007. Based on a total of 41 academic journal and conference publications, the relevant research carried out is identified, while the research results are categorized, consolidated, and discussed. The results show that the dominant empirical research analyzes the individual impact of a certain type of information system by ascertaining users’ evaluation of it by means of surveys and then applying structural equation modeling. The DeLone and McLean Information Systems Success Model is the main theoretical basis of the reviewed empirical studies. This article provides researchers with a comprehensive review and structuring of IS success research. Furthermore, opportunities for additional development are identified and future research directions suggested.

Technische Anforderungen an staatliche Internetwahlen

Der Beitrag gibt einen überblick der technischen Anforderungen bei der Einführung von Internetwahlen zu staatlichen Parlamentswahlen. Dabei wird deutlich, dass es trotz erheblicher Forschungsarbeit insbesondere im Bereich der kryptographischen Wahlprotokolle noch einige zum Teil sehr technische Probleme zu l?sen sind, um Internetwahlsysteme bei den Wahlen von staatlichen Volksvertretungen einführen zu k?nnen.     

Virtualisierung der Kommunikation – Der Beitrag von Informationsreichhaltigkeit für Kooperation

Virtualization of communication by means of information and communication technology supports companies in globally distributed value creation. Cooperation among employees in order to gain economies of scope is of special economical importance. Computer mediated communication like video conferencing and teleconferencing is more and more accompanied by technical information richness. However, in many cases such technologies do not perform as expected, so that the investment does not generate the expected added value. Newer information richness theories claim that this is caused by insufficient user experience with the technologies. The paper reviews the current state of research regarding the impact of computer mediated communication as well as of information richness (objective and subjective) on cooperation. Thus it shows how virtualization of communication can support companies in better exploiting their economical potential.     

Der Nachweis der Existenz verallgemeinerter Lösungen quasilinearer Anfangswertaufgaben mittels Differenzenverfahren

The existence of generalized solutions for nonlinear initial-value problems was proved by Ansorge [1] in a general theorem. This paper shows, that a class of finite-difference methods, which approximate the solutions of quasilinear equations, fulfills the assumptions of this theorem. The semi-linear theory given by Ansorge-Hass [2] is extended to quasilinear equations.

Der CW-SCM-Ansatz

In a cooperation of the Bavarian Information Systems Research Network (FORWIN), Nuremberg, with the Research Institute for Operations Management (FIR), Aachen University of Technology, a prototype of a lean and flexible supply chain management system for small and medium sized enterprises (SME) is currently being developed. The aim of this project is to design a componentware-based solution enabling SME to implement an SCM with the basic functionality.
