The effect of rare earth oxides Y203 or Ce02 on sintering properties of Si3N4 ceramics was studied and the mechanism of assisting action during sintering was analyzed. The results in dicate that the best sintering properties appear in Si3N4 ceramics with 5% Y203 or 8% CeO2. Secondary crystallites are formed at grain boundaries after heat treatment,which decreases the amount of glass phase and contributes to the improvement of high-temperature mechanical properties of silicon nitride. 相似文献

The influence of MgO on sintering and dielectric properties of La2O3-TiO2 ceramics was investigated, and the mechanism also discussed. The results show that La2O3-TiO2 ceramics with MgO can be sintered between 1200 and 1280 ℃. The effects of microstructure types and microstructural parameters on creep properties were investigated systematically through an analysis of microstructure and creep properties of Ti–6Al–4V alloys based on the available literature data. The results indicated that the creep properties of the Ti–6Al–4V alloy are strongly dependent on microstructure type. Creep resistance of Ti–6Al–4V alloys is better in lamellar microstructure followed by bimodal and equiaxed microstructure respectively. Also, microstructural parameters such as the size of both prior beta grain and alpha colony and thickness of alpha lamellae in the lamellar microstructure, the volume fraction of primary alpha phase in bimodal microstructure and size of alpha phase in equiaxed microstructure can influence the creep properties. 相似文献

Eu^3+-doped Gd2Mo3O9 was prepared by solid-state reaction method using Na2CO3 as flux and characterized by powder X-ray diffractometry. According to X-ray diffraction, this material belonged to a tetragonal system with space group I41/α. The effects of flux content and sintering temperature on the luminescent properties were investigated with the emission and excitation spectra. The results showed that flux content and sintering temperature had effects on the luminescent properties, the optimized flux content and the best temperature was 3 % and 800 ℃ respectively. The excitation and emission spectra also showed that this phosphor could be effectively excited by C-T band (280 nm), ultraviolet light 395 nm and blue light 465 nm. The wavelengths at 395 and 465 nm were nicely fitting in with the widely applied output wavelengths of ultraviolet or blue LED chips. Integrated emission intensity of Gd2Mo3O9 : Eu was twice higher than that of Y2O2S : Eu^3 + under 395 nm excitation. The Eu^3+ doped Gd2Mo309 phosphor may be a better candidate in solid-state lighting applications. 相似文献

Optically transparent alumina ceramics were fabricated by conventional process and sintered without pressure in H2 atmosphere. The results indicate that relative densities of alumina specimens increase to theoretical densities (T. D. ) with increasing content of La2O3. With increasing holding time during sintering, much less pores and larger grains were found in the sintered alumina samples. Higher transmittance was achieved in alumina codoped with MgO and La2O3 as compared with that doped with MgO only. The total-transmittance of alumina sample is up to 86% at twavelength range of 300 - 800 nm. 相似文献

In this work, BiFeO3 powders were synthesized by a sol–gel method. The influence of annealing temperature on the structure and magnetic properties of the samples has been discussed. X-ray diffraction studies showed that the purest phase was formed in the temperature range of 400 °C to 550 °C and the samples annealed at a temperature below 550 °C were of nanocrystalline character. Mössbauer spectroscopy and magnetization measurements were used as complementary methods to investigate the magnetic state of the samples. In particular, the appearance of weak ferromagnetic properties, significant growth of magnetization, and spin-glass-like behavior were observed along with the drop of average grain size. Mössbauer spectra were fitted by the model assuming cycloidal modulation of spins arrangement and properties of the spin cycloid were determined and analyzed. Most importantly, it was proved that the spin cycloid does not disappear even in the case of the samples with a particle size well below the cycloid modulation period λ = 62 nm. Furthermore, the cycloid becomes more anharmonic as the grain size decreases. The possible origination of weak ferromagnetism of the nanocrystalline samples has also been discussed. 相似文献

Lu3Al5O12 single crystals grown in pure N2 atmosphere by Czochralski method were annealed in oxidizing atmosphere (air)and reducing atmosphere (H2 + N2), respectively. Effects of annealing treatments on luminescence and scintillation properties of the crystals were investigated. The crystal annealed in air showed the highest luminescence intensity under blue light or vacuum ultraviolet excitation in comparison with that annealed in reducing flux or the as-grown crystal. Under X-ray excitation, crystal annealed in reducing atmosphere had the lowest light yield, and crystal annealed in air had the fastest decay time under ^137Cs 662 keV γ-ray excitation. Different annealing treatments resulted in different luminescence and scintillation properties, which might related with oxygen vacancies or defect existing in the crystals. 相似文献

The present article describes the influence of microstructure i.e. lamellar, bimodal and equiaxed on solid particle erosion behaviour of Ti–6AL–4V alloy at service exposed temperature i.e. 400 °C. Erosion tests have been carried out using an air jet type test rig and Taguchi’s experimental design.
