高层建筑的兴起可缓解人地矛盾,实现空间资源的科学利用,虽然我国关于高层建筑的施工工艺和技术日渐成熟,但在许多的高层建筑中却存在较大的消防安全隐患,给建筑的消防安全和防火监督工作带来了巨大的挑战。随着国家对高层建筑消防安全提出的新要求,每个高层建筑的建设施工中,都应将消防安全设计作为重点性的工作,并在后续加强防火监督。基于此,本文从高层建筑的火灾特点出发,分析了高层建筑消防安全问题的原因和具体表现,提出了对应的防火监督策略,有利于减少高层建筑火灾事故。  相似文献

Sustainable construction is critical to Singapore's national development as Singapore has little natural resources. Nearly, all construction materials have to be imported and it is therefore vital to improve Singapore's efficiency on the use of natural resources. Since 2007, the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), together with Singapore's construction industry, strives to promote the adoption of sustainable construction materials and practices. Central to the drive of sustainable construction is the Sustainable Construction Masterplan, with five major strategic thrusts outlining strategies to achieve resource efficiency. The five strategic thrusts cover initiatives from government support, legislation to research and development support. This article also presents some recent initiatives of sustainable construction, such as the development of demolition protocol and sustainable construction capability development fund. The findings of a recently completed full-scale study on the use of recycled concrete aggregates in structural elements of a 3-storey office building are also presented.  相似文献

This paper presents a general overview of strategies relevant to strengthen the network potential of Swedish medium-sized cities. In several respects, these cities have reached dominant positions in their regional framework. In the emerging network economy, industrial firms and service institutions become increasingly exposed to competition, not only within the national framework but also in the international context. Several medium-sized cities in Sweden are in a vulnerable position. They are in need of the development of new types of strategies. The most vital aspects are to develop an entrepreneurial urban governance, to strengthen import links which promote new specialization efforts, to establish strategic alliances with other cities, and to finance the renewal of infrastructure.An earlier version of this paper was presented at the 31st European Congress of the RSAI, Lisbon, Portugal, August 1991.  相似文献

Hexavalent chromium was identified by California as a toxic air contaminant (TAC) in January 1986. The California Department of Health Services (CDHS) concurred with the findings of the International Agency for Research on Cancer that there is sufficient evidence to demonstrate the carcinogenicity of chromium in both animals and humans. CDHS did not find any compelling evidence demonstrating the existence of a threshold with respect to chromium carcinogenesis. Experimental data was judged inadequate to assess potential human reproductive risks from ambient exposures. Other health effects were not expected to occur at ambient levels. The theoretically increased lifetime carcinogenic risk from a continuous lifetime exposure to hexavalent chromium fell within the range 12-146 cancer cases per nanogram hexavalent chromium per cubic meter of air per million people exposed, depending on the potency estimate used. The primary sources found to contribute significantly to the risk of exposure were chrome platers, chromic acid anodizing facilities and cooling towers utilizing hexavalent chromium as a corrosion inhibitor. Evaluation of genotoxicity data, animal studies and epidemiological studies indicates that further consideration should be given to the potential carcinogenicity of hexavalent chromium via the oral route.  相似文献

Due to the high density and variety of organizational policy networks involved, urban renewal requires a complex decision-making process. The complexity of the process resides in its inherent uncertainty and dynamics and therefore its unpredictability, and in the interrelatedness of the interventions. In this context, a shift in responsibility has taken place in the Netherlands as a result of which urban renewal is no longer determined by national government but by local planning authorities in conjunction with public and private players. This corresponds to a situation in which the role of the public sector is becoming increasingly characterized by the notion of governance. On the basis of a confrontation of theoretical insights and empirical data, this text analyses the roles and (steering) ambitions of different actors in this new situation. Two case studies of urban renewal processes in Amsterdam and Rotterdam are used to illustrate the complexity of urban renewal processes and the way in which this can be addressed through the formulation of a common problem definition.  相似文献
