4.25Cu-0.75Ni/NiFe2O4 cermets were prepared by doping NiFe2O4 ceramic matrix with the mixed powders of Cu and Ni or Cu-Ni alloy powder as the electrical conducting metallic elements. The effects of technological parameters, such as the adding modes of metallic elements, the ball milling time, the sintering time and the sintering temperature, on the relative density and resistivity of the cermets were studied. The results show that the resistivity of 4.25Cu-0.75Ni/NiFe2O4 cermets decreases with increasing temperature, and has a turning point at 590 °C, which is similar to that of NiFe2O4 ceramic. The sintering temperature and adding modes of metallic elements have a great influence on the properties of 4.25Cu-0.75Ni/NiFe2O4 cermets. When the sintering temperature increases from 1200 °C to 1300 °C, the relative density increases from 89.86% to 95.33%, and the resistivity at 960 °C decreases from 0.11 Ω · cm to 0.03 Ω · cm, respectively. When the metallic elements are added with the mixed powders of Cu and Ni, the cermets of finely and uniformly dispersed metallic phase, high density and electric conductivity are obtained. The relative density and resistivity at 960 °C are 90.23% and 0.04 Ω · cm respectively for the cermet samples sintered at 1200 °C for 2 h, which are both better than those of the cermets prepared under the same technique conditions but with the metallic elements added as 85Cu-15Ni alloy powders. The CaO-doped Cu/(NiFe2O4-10NiO) cermet inert anodes were prepared by the cold isostatie pressing-sintering process, and their corrosion resistance to Na3AlF6-K3AlF6-Al203 melt was studied. The results show that the relative density of 5Cu/(NiFe2O4-10NiO) cermet sintered at 1 200 ℃ increases from 82.83% to 97.63% when 2% CaO (mass fraction) is added. During the electrolysis, the relative density of cermet inert anode descends owing to the chemical dissolution of additive CaO at ceramic grain boundary, which accelerates the penetration of electrolyte. Thus, the corrosion resistance to melts of Cu/(NiFe2O4-10NiO) cermet inert anode is reduced. To improve the corrosion resistance of the cermet inert anode, the content of CaO doped should be decreased and the technology of cleaning the ceramic grain boundary should be applied.  相似文献

The effects of CaO content in the range from 0 to 4.0%, and sintering temperature on the phase composition, relative density and electrical conductivity of 10NiO-NiFe2O4 composites doped with CaO were studied. The results show that there is no change of structure for NiO or NiFe2O4; there is apparent oxygen absorbing and releasing behavior during the heating process in air for 10NiO-NiFe2O4 composites. Introduction of CaO can accelerate the densification of 10NiO-NiFe2O4 composites. The maximum value of relative density is 98.75% for composite doped with 2.0% CaO and sintered at 1 200 ℃, which is beyond about 20% for the undoped composites. The sintering activated energy of sample containing 2% CaO decreases by 15.87 kJ/mol, compared with that of the undoped sample.  相似文献

Nanometer 3Y-TZP/20%Al2O3 (mass fraction) composite powders prepared by the chemical coprecipitation method were pressureless sintered at 1550 °C for 2 h. Effects of calcining temperatures at 800 °C, 1 000 °C, and 1 200 °C on phase structure, relative density, and Vicker’s hardness of the sintered bodies were studied. The results show that 1 000 °C was the optimal calcining temperature, and the powder calcined was composed of tetragonal zirconia with the Scherrer crystalline size of 6.3nm. The relative density was up to 98.5% under pressureless sintering, and the sintered body was t-ZrO2 (without m-ZrO2)+α-Al2O3 with the average size of 0.4 μm. The influences of BaCu(B2O5) (BCB) addition on sintering, microstructure and microwave dielectric properties of Li2MgTi3O8 ceramics were investigated using X-ray diffractometry, scanning electron microscopy and microwave dielectric measurements. The experimental results show that a small amount of BaCu(B2O5) addition can effectively reduce the sintering temperature to 900 °C, and induce only a limited degradation of the microwave dielectric properties. Typically, the best microwave dielectric properties of ɛ r=24.5, Q×f =24 622 GHz, τ f=4.2×10−6 °C−1 are obtained for 1.0% BCB-doped Li2MgTi3O8 ceramics sintered at 900 °C for 3 h. The BCB-doped Li2MgTi3O8 ceramics can be compatible with Ag electrode, which may be a strong candidate for low temperature co-fired ceramics applications.  相似文献

YSZ/(Ni, Al) composite coatings with different Ni:Al mole ratios were deposited on superalloy Inconel 600 by electrophoretic deposition (EPD) technique, followed by sintering in CH4 atmosphere at 1 100 °C for 2 h and isothermally oxidation at 1000 °C for 50 h. After sintering at 1100 °C for 2 h in CH4 atmosphere, besides ZrC and t-ZrO2 phases, the phase constitutes of Ni:Al mole ratios with 1:3, 1:2, and 1:1 were (Zr, Al)C, AlNi3 and Ni phases, respectively. A remarkable difference in the oxidation behaviors of YSZ/(Ni, Al) composite coatings with different Ni:Al mole ratios was observed. For YSZ(Ni:Al=1:3) coated sample, oxidation at 1000 °C causes decomposition of the (Zr,Al)C solid solution to metallic Al, and then most of the Al is oxidized to Al2O3. For the YSZ(Ni:Al=1:2) coated sample, oxidation at 1000 °C mainly causes decomposition of the AlNi3 phase. For YSZ(Ni:Al=1:1) coated sample, after oxidation at 1000 °C, most of the Ni is oxidized to NiO phase, and tolerated 50 h of oxidation and finally cracked and spalled from the specimen. YSZ(Ni:Al=1:3) and YSZ(Ni:Al=1:2) coated samples show superior oxidation resistance than that of YSZ coating. The different oxidation resistance mechanisms of YSZ/(Ni, Al) composite coatings sintered in CH4 atmosphere were discussed.  相似文献

SrBi4Ti4O15 powder was synthesized by conventional solid state synthesis ( CS ) and molten salt synthesis ( MSS ) . MSS method can synthesize plate-like SrBi4Ti4O15 at lower temperature (900℃) than CS method. Plate-like form becomes more distinct when the synthesis temperature increases. This would help cause the grain orientation of the ceramics after sintering. The sintered samples of MSS had grain orientation at (0,0, 10) plane. The degree of (0,0,10) grain orientation F was 62.1% . Hot pressing made (0,0,10) grain orientation more distinct ( F = 85.7% ). The microstructures of the sintered samples were detected by SEM. Due to the grain orientation the density of samples fabricated by MSS was lower than that of prepared by CS.  相似文献

The effects of B2O3 addition on both the sintering behavior and microwave dielectric properties of CaO-B2O3-SiO2 (CBS) glass ceramics were investigated by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR),X-ray diffractometry (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).The results show that the increasing amount of B2O3 causes the increase of the contents of [BO3],[BO4] and [SiO4],which deduces the increase of CaB2O4 and α-SiO2 and the decrease of CaSiO3 correspondingly. No new phase is observed throughout the...  相似文献

ZrO2, TiO2 and P2O5 were doped in CaO-B2O3-SiO2 glass-ceramics as nucleating additives. Effects of different nucleating additives on the phase separation and crystalline behaviors were investigated by using gradient temperature furnace, DTA and XRD. Then, sintering process of the glass-ceramics was investigated by testing sintering shrinkage, dielectric constant and loss. The experimental results shows that the glass-ceramics doped with nucleating additives represents higher crystallization, with ZrO2 as an exceptional effective dopant to promote the precipitation of wollastonite crystal. Finally, ZrO2 containing glass-ceramics was chosen to study the influence of sintering temperature and soaking time with the help of X-ray diffraction analysis and density measurement. The glass-ceramics can be well consolidated at 850 °C for 10 min, with low dielectric constant (5.87) and loss (3.21 × 10−4), which is desirable for LTCC application.  相似文献

Spinel zinc ferrites ZnFe2O4, prepared by co-precipitation method using the zinc nitrate Zn(NO3)2·6H2O and ferric nitrate Fe(NO3)3·2H2O as the raw materials, were characterized by the thermo gravimetric analysis (TG) and differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The influence of synthesis conditions, such as Zn/Fe molar ratio, pH value, the sintering temperature and time, on the microstructures was detailedly investigated. The relationships between the microstructures and the synthesis conditions were discussed. The results show that the pure spinel zinc ferrites ZnFe2O4 are formed when the Zn/Fe molar ratio is 1.05:2 at pH=8.5 or Zn/Fe molar ratio is 1:2 at Ph=9-10, and the precursors are sintered at 1100 °C for 4 h. Especially no other phases are observed when the Zn/Fe molar ratio is 1:2 at pH=10 and the precursor is sintered above 700 for 4 °C h. The higher sintering temperature and longer sintering time contribute to grain growth.  相似文献

Monophasic mullite (3Al2O3?2SiO2) samples doped with 0.002 M, 0.02 M, 0.1 M, 0.15 M and 0.2 M of cobalt were prepared by a sol-gel process. Prepared gels were then dried, grinded, pressed into pellets and sintered at 1 000 °C and 1 300 °C for 4 h. Phase formation and densification behavior has been investigated as a function of the cobalt content and sintering temperature. Mullite densification behavior was analyzed .The density of the sintered ceramics was measured using Archimedes method. CoO and Co related compounds were detected by the analysis for G3, G4 and G5 doping levels. The mullite X-ray diffraction suggests predominant incorporation of Co in the glassy phase, whose quantity increased with the doping level.  相似文献

Composite powders of nanocrystalline WC-10Co (15wt%),Y2O3 (8mol%) stabilized nanocrystalline ZrO2 (30wt%),industrial cobalt powder (4.5wt%) and submicron Al2O3 (55wt%) composite powders were fabricated by high-energy ball-milling process. The nanocomposite powders were consolidated by microwave sintering process at temperature ranged 1300℃-1550℃ for 15min,respectively.The optimum consolidation conditions, such as temperature, were researched during microwave sintering process.Vickers Hardness of the consolidated cermets was measured by using a Vickers indentation test, and density of specimens was also determined by Archimedes’ principle.Microwave sintering process could not only increase the density of Al2O3-ZrO2-WC-Co cermets and reduce the porosity, but also inhibit abnormal grain growth.  相似文献

Magnetic and electrical transport properties of the La0.67Ca0.33Mn1-xO3 (x=0-0.16), which were prepared by the sol-gel method followed by sintering treatment at 1 450, 1 100 and 900 ℃, respectively, were investigated. Experimental results show that, with the increase of x, the resistivity of samples increases and the insulator-metal transition temperature shifts towards lower temperature. Meanwhile, the intrinsic megnetoresistance effect is weakened and the extrinsic magnetoresistance is enhanced. For the samples with x=0.16 and 0.10 sintered at 1 100 ℃ and 900 ℃, respectively, low field magnetoresistance as high as about 50% can be observed. Furthermore, for the samples sintered at 1 100 ℃ and 900 ℃, the grain size is not only controlled by about sintering temperature, but also by the absence of Mn content x.  相似文献

Calcia stabilized zirconia(CSZ) ceramics were prepared with 7wt% calcia-stabilized zirconia powder by pressureless sintering technology. The crystal phases of the sintered samples were studied by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and Raman spectroscopy techniques, and the microstructures of the fracture surfaces were observed by scanning electron spectroscopy(SEM). The phase compositions and the lattice parameters of cubic calcia-stabilized zirconia were calculated by XRD patterns. As the sintering temperature increasing from 1400 °C to 1600 °C, the monoclinic zirconia content decreases gradually, finally all monoclinic phase transforms to cubic calcia-stabilized zirconia, which is determined to be Ca0.134Zr0.866O1.866. It is revealed that monoclinic zirconia is the main factor causing minute cracks on the surface of sintered samples, and the combination of the XRD patterns and Raman spectra is an effective way to research the phase transformations of zirconia. The effects of Al2O3 addition on both the sintering behavior and microwave dielectric properties of PbO-B2O3-SiO2 glass ceramics were investigated by Fourier transform infrared spectroscope (FTIR), differential thermal analysis (DTA), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results show that with the increase of Al2O3 content the bands assigned to [SiO4] nearly disappear. Aluminum replaces silicon in the glass network, which is helpful for the formation of boron-oxygen rings. The increase of the transition temperature T g and softening temperature T f of PbO-B2O3-SiO2 glass ceramics leads to the increase of liquid phase precipitation temperature and promotes the structure stability in the glasses, and consequently contributes to the decreasing trend of crystallization. Densification and dielectric constants increase with the increase of Al2O3 content, but the dielectric loss is worsened. By contrast, the 3% (mass fraction) Al2O3-doped glass ceramics sintered at 725 °C have better properties of density ρ=2.72 g/cm3, dielectric constant ɛ r =6.78, dielectric loss tan δ=2.6×10−3 (measured at 9.8 GHz), which suggest that the glass ceramics can be applied in multilayer microwave devices requiring low sintering temperatures.  相似文献

A series of samples of hexagonal boron nitride-aluminum nitride ceramic composites with different amounts of CaF2 as sintering aid were prepared by spark plasma sintered at 1700-1850 ℃ for 5 min.The addition of CaF2 effectively lowered the sintering temperature and promoted the densification of AlN-BN composites. With the increase of sintering temperature, the density increased, and the contiguity of AlN grains enhanced in AlN-BN composites.Thermal conductivity of AlN-BN composites increased with the increase in CaF2 content and sintering temperature, and there is a maximum value of 78.6 W·m^-1·K^-1 when the sample with 3wt% CaF2 sintered at 1800 ℃.  相似文献

The effect of ZnO-B2O3(ZB) glass addition on the sintering behavior, microstructures and microwave dielectric properties of BaO-Nd2O3-TiO2-Bi2O3 (BNTB) system was investigated with the aid of X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and capacitance meter. It is found that the ZB glass addition, acting as a sintering aid, can effectively lower the sintering temperature of BNTB system to 850 °C. The dielectric constant of BNTB-ZB ceramics increases with the increase of soaking time and the value of dielectric loss decreased with increasing soak time. The optical dielectric properties at 1 GHz of ɛ=74, tan δ=4×10−4, and TCC=25 ppm/°c were obtained for the BNTB system doped with 25 wt% ZB glass sintered at 850 °C for 2 h, representing that the BNTB-ZB ceramics could be promising for multilayer low temperature co-fired ceramics applications.  相似文献

The 8% (mass fraction) yttrium-partially-stabilized zirconia (8YSZ) ceramic was fabricated via liquid phase sintering at 1 200–1 400 °C by adding different mass ratios of CuO-16.7%TiO2 (molar fraction) as sintering aid. Relative density, microstructure, Vickers hardness and bending strength as a function of sintering temperature and additive content were investigated. The experiment results show that liquid phase sintering at low temperature can be realized through adding CuO-16.7% TiO2 to 8YSZ. The Vickers hardness and bending strength of samples with sintering aid are generally much higher than those of samples without sintering aid for all sintering temperatures, and increase with the increase of sintering temperature. When the addition content of CuO-16.7% TiO2 is beyond 0.5%, the relative density, Vickers hardness and bending strength decrease with the increase of the mass ratio of sintering aid. Low additions of sintering aid are beneficial to aiding densification; high additions of sintering aid are detrimental to the sintered properties mainly due to greater amounts of pores generated by the volatilization of oxygen with the eutectic reaction between copper oxide and titanium dioxide. It is found that the fine grain size and high relative density are two main reasons of the high bending strength and Vickers hardness of the materials.  相似文献
