In this paper, a frequency‐weighted optimal H model reduction problem for linear time‐invariant (LTI) systems is considered. The objective of this class of model reduction problems is to minimize H norm of the frequency‐weighted truncation error between a given LTI system and its lower order approximation. A necessary and sufficient solvability condition is derived in terms of LMIs with one extra coupling rank constraint, which generally leads to a non‐convex feasibility problem. Moreover, it has been shown that the reduced‐order model is stable when both stable input and output weights are included, and its state‐space data are given explicitly by the solution of the feasibility problem. An efficient model reduction scheme based on cone complementarity algorithm (CCA) is proposed to solve the non‐convex conditions involving rank constraint.  相似文献

Tracking control for switched linear systems with time‐delay is investigated in this paper. Based on the state‐dependent switching method, sufficient conditions for the solvability of the tracking control problem are given. We use single Lyapunov function technique and a typical hysteresis switching law to design a tracking control law such that the H model reference tracking performance is satisfied. The controller design problem can be solved efficiently by using linear matrices inequalities. Since convex combination techniques are used to derive the delay independent criteria, some subsystems are allowed to be unstable. It is highly desirable that a non‐switched time‐delay system can not earn such property. Simulation example shows the feasibility and validity of the switching control law. This paper provides solvability conditions for state synchronization with homogeneous discrete‐time multiagent systems with a directed and weighted communication network under partial‐ or full‐state coupling. Our solvability conditions reveal that the synchronization problem is solvable for all possible, a priori given, set of graphs associated with a communication network only under the condition that the agents are at most weakly unstable (ie, agents have all eigenvalues in the closed unit disc). However, if an upper bound on the eigenvalues inside the unit disc of the row stochastic matrices associated with any graph in a given set of graphs is known, then one can achieve synchronization for a class of unstable agents. We provide protocol design for at most weakly unstable agents based on a direct eigenstructure assignment method and a standard H2 discrete‐time algebraic Riccati equation. We also provide protocol design for strictly unstable agents (ie, agents have at least one eigenvalue outside the unit disc) based on the standard H2 discrete‐time algebraic Riccati equation.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of non‐fragile observer‐based H control for discrete‐time switched delay systems is investigated. Both data missing and time delays are taken into account in the links from sensors to observers and from controllers to actuators. Because data missing satisfies the Bernoulli distribution, such problem is transformed into an H control problem for stochastic switched delay systems. Average dwell time approach is used to obtain sufficient conditions on the solvability of such problems. A numerical example and a real example for water quality control are provided to illustrate the effectiveness and potential applications of the proposed techniques. In this paper, we consider the discrete‐time mixed ??2/?? filtering problem for affine nonlinear systems. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the solvability of this problem with a finite‐dimensional filter are given in terms of a pair of coupled discrete‐time Hamilton–Jacobi‐Isaac's equations (DHJIE) with some side‐conditions. For linear systems, it is shown that these conditions reduce to a pair of coupled discrete‐time algebraic‐Riccati‐equations (DAREs) or a system of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) similar to the ones for the control case. Both the finite‐horizon and infinite‐horizon problems are discussed. Moreover, sufficient conditions for approximate solvability of the problem are also derived. These solutions are especially useful for computational purposes, considering the difficulty of solving the coupled DHJIEs. An example is also presented to demonstrate the approach. We strengthen the existing definition of (J,J)‐lossless rational matrices (RMs) and find an algebraic characterization of the newly defined class of strongly (J,J)‐lossless RMs. The algebraic characterization is given for possibly improper RMs. A connection is presented to a rational ? problem, known as the Leech problem, which is elaborated on with necessary and sufficient conditions, given in terms of the strongly (J,J)‐lossless property, as an alternative of the Leech conditions, which can be expressed with positivity of a kernel. An algorithm for solving the Leech problem is given and illustrated by examples.  相似文献

This paper deals with the non‐fragile H control problem for uncertain linear systems. The uncertainties are of a linear fractional form and appear in both the state and control input matrices. The purpose is to design a state feedback controller, which is subject to linear fractional parametric uncertainties, such that the resulting closed‐loop system is quadratically stable with an H norm bound. A sufficient condition for the solvability of the problem is obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities. A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design method. Copyright © 2008 John Wiley and Sons Asia Pte Ltd and Chinese Automatic Control Society  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of robust non‐fragile H filtering for neutral stochastic systems with distributed delays and norm‐bounded parameter uncertainties. Attention is focused on the design of a filter which is subject to gain variations, such that the filtering error system is robustly stochastically stable with a prescribed H performance level for all admissible uncertainties. A delay‐dependent sufficient condition for the solvability of this problem is obtained in terms of a linear matrix inequality. In this paper the problem of non‐fragile adaptive sliding mode observer design is addressed for a class of nonlinear fractional‐order time‐delay systems with uncertainties, external disturbance, exogenous noise, and input nonlinearity. An H observer‐based adaptive sliding mode control considering the non‐fragility of the observer is proposed for this system. The sufficient asymptotic stability conditions are derived in the form of linear matrix inequalities. It is proven that the sliding surface is reachable in finite time. An illustrative example is provided which corroborates the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the H filtering problem for two‐dimensional T‐S fuzzy systems. Sufficient conditions for the solvability of this problem are obtained by using basis‐dependent Lyapunov functions. By considering the measured output as an independent variable with respect to the state variable and the disturbance input, a new method for designing two‐dimensional H filters is presented. Moreover, it has been shown that the proposed method is equivalent to the conventional one. Therefore, the proposed method does not lead to any conservativeness that may be caused by separately considering the measured output, the state variable, and the disturbance input. In converting the parameterized linear matrix inequalities (PLMI) into LMI constraints, attention is focused on the reduction of the number of LMI‐based conditions. On the basis of the proposed theorem, the number of LMI‐based conditions is reduced to r3 from r3(r + 1)2 ∕ 4 by the conventional method. Thus, the computational advantage is obvious for fuzzy systems with large number of fuzzy rules. Simulation results have demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed method. This paper considers the problems of robust non‐fragile stochastic stabilization and H control for uncertain time‐delay stochastic systems with time‐varying norm‐bounded parameter uncertainties in both the state and input matrices. Attention is focused on the design of memoryless state feedback controllers which are subject to norm‐bounded uncertainties. For both the cases of additive and multiplicative controller uncertainties, delay‐independent sufficient conditions for the solvability of the above problems are obtained. The desired state feedback controller can be constructed by solving a certain linear matrix inequality.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of robust H filtering for uncertain stochastic systems. The system under consideration is subject to time‐varying norm‐bounded parameter uncertainties and unknown time delays in both the state and measurement equations. The problem we address is the design of a stable filter that ensures the robust stochastic stability and a prescribed H performance level for the filtering error system irrespective of all admissible uncertainties and time delays. A suffient condition for the solvability of this problem is proposed and a linear matrix inequality approach is developed for the design of the robust H filters. An illustrative example is provided to demonstrate the effctiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

In this paper the notions of non‐uniform in time robust global asymptotic output stability (RGAOS) and input‐to‐output stability (IOS) for discrete‐time systems are studied. Characterizations as well as links between these notions are provided. Particularly, it is shown that a discrete‐time system with continuous dynamics satisfies the non‐uniform in time IOS property if and only if the corresponding unforced system is non‐uniformly in time RGAOS. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the solvability of the robust output feedback stabilization (ROFS) problem are also given. Copyright © 2005 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The robust stochastic stability, stabilization and H control for mode‐dependent time‐delay discrete Markovian jump singular systems with parameter uncertainties are discussed. Based on the restricted system equivalent (r.s.e.) transformation and by introducing new state vectors, the singular system is transformed into a standard linear system, and delay‐dependent linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) conditions for the mode‐dependent time‐delay discrete Markovian jump singular systems to be regular, causal and stochastically stable, and stochastically stable with γ‐disturbance attenuation are obtained, respectively. With these conditions, robust stabilization problem and robust H control problem are solved, and the LMIs sufficient conditions are obtained. A numerical example illustrates the effectiveness of the method given in the paper. Copyright © 2008 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper addresses the finite‐time H bumpless transfer control problem for switched systems. The main idea lies in designing a state‐feedback controller with amplitude limitation and a state‐dependent switching law to reduce control bumps caused by switching. First, a local bumpless transfer condition is proposed to limit the amplitude of switching controllers at switching points. Second, by introducing a state‐dependent switching law, a prescribed finite‐time H bumpless transfer control performance is attained even if it does not hold for each subsystem or system state remaining on a switching surface. Third, a sufficient condition verifying the solvability of finite‐time H bumpless transfer control problem is established by resorting to multiple Lyapunov function method. Finally, the effectiveness of developed method is illustrated by a numerical example.  相似文献

A kind of H non‐fragile synchronization guaranteed control method is put forward for a class of uncertain time‐varying delay complex network systems with disturbance input. The network under consideration includes unknown but bounded nonlinear coupling functions f(x) and the coupling term and node system with time‐varying delays. The nonlinear vector function f(x) need not be differentiable but should satisfy the norm bound. A non‐fragile state feedback controller of the gain with sufficiently large regulation margin is designed. It is ensured that the parameters of the controller could still be effective under small perturbation. The sufficient conditions for the existence of H synchronous non‐fragile guaranteed control of this system have been obtained by constructing a suitable Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional, adopting matrix analysis, using the theorem of Schur complement and linear matrix inequalities (LMI). These conditions can guarantee robust asymptotic stability for each node of network with disturbance as well as achieve a prescribed robust H performance level. Finally, the feasibility of the designed method is verified by a numerical example.  相似文献

In this paper, the exponential H filter design problem is investigated for a general class of stochastic time‐varying delay system with Markovian jumping parameters. The stochastic uncertainties appear in both the dynamic and the measurement equations and the state delay is assumed to be time‐varying. Attention is focused on the design of mean‐square exponentially stable and Markovian jump filter such that the filtering error systems are mean‐square exponentially stable and the estimation error satisfies a given H performance. By introducing some slack matrix variables, delay‐dependent sufficient conditions for the solvability of the above problem are presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). In addition, the decay rate can be a given positive value without any other constraints. When the proposed LMIs are feasible, an explicit expression of the desired H filter can be given. A numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design approach. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献
