为了对异构终端进行有效聚合,解决泛在末梢环境中网络资源和终端能力有限性带来的多用户效益冲突分配问题,该文提出一种均衡多业务的终端聚合机制(DCMME)。首先以相对熵为均衡性指标设计了均衡服务质量效益函数,建立了面向多业务的终端聚合问题模型(MODC);然后,该机制对问题模型进行降维简化,提出了基于均衡的终端聚合算法(EDC);最后,通过C++和MATLAB仿真表明,在该机制下,用户均衡性改善了0.5%~20%,由此证明该方法很好地权衡和保证了多泛在业务请求下各用户效益。  相似文献

Software‐defined networking that separates the control plane from the data plane is envisioned as a promising technology to enable resilient and flexible network management. Tolerating link failures is a fundamental problem in enhancing such network resilience in software‐defined networking. Reactive and proactive fault tolerant schemes for conventional networks may not well balance the fault recovery time and network performance, since the proactive scheme typically underutilizes resources and the reactive scheme usually incurs a longer recovery time. In this paper, we propose a cooperative link failure recovery scheme to find a fine‐grained trade‐off between resource utilization and recovery time by combining reactive and proactive methods. We formalize the problem of link failure recovery as a multiobjective optimization problem and devise a 2‐stage algorithm for it. The first stage of the algorithm guarantees connectivity restoration in an acceptable recovery interval based on fast failover feature supported in OpenFlow protocol, meanwhile it assigns virtual local area network tags to back up paths for achieving a lower memory consumption. The second stage of the algorithm guarantees the quality of service for different applications by adjusting the backup paths after rapid connectivity restoration. Extensive simulations highlight that cooperative link failure recovery scheme can satisfy both the carrier‐grade recovery requirements and quality of service requirements in terms of delay and network bandwidth.  相似文献

在当前信息全球化大背景下,融媒体时代的来临使得传统电视媒体功能单一性和发展模式滞后性逐渐体现,因此为确保电视台后续运维发展的高效性和稳定性,电视台编导专业人员必须结合融媒体特征制定合理的电视台发展战略,明确各分项落实重点才能使现今我国电视台逐渐形成可持续发展的模式。而融媒体所表现出的将传统视听媒体以及平面媒体等均可直接借助网络进行全方位内容传播特性,使得传统媒体与新媒体形成相互融合发展的形态,虽然近年来大部分电视台从节目制作、传播等方面逐渐体现出多功能性的融媒体特征,但综合来看大部分电视台在借助融媒体进行制播改革编导期间,无论是技术创新还是目标设置,都缺乏较为系统的战略指导方案支撑。因此做好融媒体时代电视台编导发展战略研究工作便显得极为必要。  相似文献

该文着重研究了无编码两跳中继网中考虑各节点的最大传输次数受限时的一种交互层协同设计,提出了两种类型的简单自适应中继协同策略以探索一种合并的空间分集与时间分集。分析与计算机仿真表明:在非对称的多跳无线网和块衰落信道下,尽管基于截断ARQ (Automatic Repeat Request)的重传将带来一定的平均吞吐量下降,但该协同策略在实现有效的天线与能量共享的同时,也显著地改善了系统的帧误码性能。  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a unified approach for the adaptive control of 3G mobile networks in order to improve both quality of service (QoS) for mobile subscribers and to increase revenue for service providers. The introduced approach constantly monitors QoS measures as packet loss probability and the current number of active mobile users during operation of the network. Based on the values of the QoS measures just observed, the system parameters of the admission controller and packet scheduler are controlled by the adaptive performance management entity. Considering UMTS, we present performance curves showing that handover failure probability is improved by more than one order of magnitude. Moreover, the packet loss probability can be effectively regulated to a predefined level and provider revenue is significantly increased for all pricing policies.  相似文献

Mobile devices of today have been steadily attracting applications far beyond the realm of voice communication. The market penetration rate of mobile devices has defied all predictions and is projected to remain strong for many years to come (more than 3/4th of the world population still need to be connected). Current and future market trend makes it extremely attractive for complimentary applications and features porting to serve the promising demand (on average mobile users change their mobile device once a year) and huge return on investment (a matter of simple software upgrade). The integration of camera, position location, gaming, audio, and video applications in today's high-end mobile phones supports this fact to a large extent. Other features such as audio/video streaming, digital TV, and personalized content delivery are being considered as the standard feature of the next generation mobile communications devices.New features and enhancements fetch much needed revenue stream and prop up applications integration as add-on to primarily voice-centric devices. This add-on scheme in isolation yields a mediocre solution with respect to power and processing efficiency. The additional power consumption reduces talk/idle time substantially and increased processing requirements add to size (processing elements/gates) and consequently reduces talk/idle time as well. In addition it does not scale well and lacks extensibility. This paper presents a framework for developing object oriented processing framework, which exploits the commonality across multi domain functions by leveraging principles of abstraction, instantiation, and overloading – kind of bringing object oriented programming to hardware level. Dr. Jha is the Standards Fora Expert at Qualcomm. Prior to this he was the Chief Mobility Architect and Technical Fellow at Boeing and CTO of Airify Corporation. He had numerous other leading management/technical leadership positions at Morphics, Philips, Rockwell, General Dynamics, and Northrop. He received his BSEE from BIT Sindri, India, MSEE from CSU Fullerton, Engineer Degree from USC, Los Angeles and Ph.D. degree from Aalborg University, Denmark. He has 12 issued/filed patents and has published more than 20 papers in referred journals and conference proceedings. Dr, Jha is the Sr. member of IEEE and has been invited to all over the world as keynote speaker, panelist, and lecturer. He is the General Chair of WPMC 2006 to be held in San Diego, CA.  相似文献

This study examines the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) portal performance. Performance is viewed in terms of user satisfaction (i.e. students perspectives). It incorporates three constructs (system, information and service quality) introduced by DeLone and McLean as well as perceived usefulness first introduced in the technology acceptance model. Empirical data was collected using a survey questionnaire administered to students in two universities in Malaysia. The study illustrated that generally the students are satisfied with the portal’s performance. It was found that perceived usefulness is the most significant factor that influences their level of satisfaction. The study would enable PTPTN to enhance the portal performance.  相似文献

With the growth of distributed computing systems, the modern Big Data analysis platform products often have diversified characteristics. It is hard for users to make decisions when they are in early contact with Big Data platforms. In this paper, we discussed the design principles and research directions of modern Big Data platforms by presenting research in modern Big Data products. We provided a detailed review and comparison of several state-of-the-art frameworks and concluded into a typical structure with five horizontal and one vertical. The paper outlines the problem faced by India, in dealing with its rural poor, who live in 600,000 villages with poor infrastructure and continue to do so, even after 60 years of independence and constitute about 72.2% of 1027 million. The paper also deals with means and measures to increase their income level. To achieve this, the government must redefine its policies and strategies, deploy information and communication technologies (ICTs) innovations with application and active participation from development organizations. It presents an overview of ICTs and their role in development, particularly in the context of millennium development goals (MDGs). Details select ICTs innovations of India in achieving MDGs. Further, it lists out India’s position in relation to MDGs by highlighting India’s target, current status and steps taken to achieve them. Concludes that with well thought out planning, comprehensive development strategies devised in the national policy and matching implementation process, it is hoped that India will be able to meet the challenges and achieve all the MDGs targets much earlier than the targeted dates. India’s progress in achieving the MDGs will impact not only on its own people but also on the development of South Asia and the world.  相似文献
