This paper presents new stability results for recurrent neural networks with Markovian switching. First, algebraic criteria for the almost sure exponential stability of recurrent neural networks with Markovian switching and without time delays are derived. The results show that the almost sure exponential stability of such a neural network does not require the stability of the neural network at every individual parametric configuration. Next, both delay-dependent and delay-independent criteria for the almost sure exponential stability of recurrent neural networks with time-varying delays and Markovian-switching parameters are derived by means of a generalized stochastic Halanay inequality. The results herein include existing ones for recurrent neural networks without Markovian switching as special cases. Finally, simulation results in three numerical examples are discussed to illustrate the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, we present the analytical results on the global exponential periodicity of a class of recurrent neural networks with oscillating parameters and time-varying delays. Sufficient conditions are derived for ascertaining the existence, uniqueness and global exponential periodicity of the oscillatory solution of such recurrent neural networks by using the comparison principle and mixed monotone operator method. The periodicity results extend or improve existing stability results for the class of recurrent neural networks with and without time delays.  相似文献

This brief paper presents an M-matrix-based algebraic criterion for the global exponential stability of a class of recurrent neural networks with decreasing time-varying delays. The criterion improves some previous criteria based on M-matrix and is easy to be verified with the connection weights of the recurrent neural networks with decreasing time-varying delays. In addition, the rate of exponential convergence can be estimated via a simple computation based on the criterion herein.  相似文献

Impulses-induced exponential stability in recurrent delayed neural networks   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The present paper formulates and studies a model of recurrent neural networks with time-varying delays in the presence of impulsive connectivity among the neurons. This model can well describe practical architectures of more realistic neural networks. Some novel yet generic criteria for global exponential stability of such neural networks are derived by establishing an extended Halanay differential inequality on impulsive delayed dynamical systems. The distinctive feature of this work is to address exponential stability issues without a priori stability assumption for the corresponding delayed neural networks without impulses. It is shown that the impulses in neuronal connectivity play an important role in inducing global exponential stability of recurrent delayed neural networks even if it may be unstable or chaotic itself. Furthermore, example and simulation are given to illustrate the practical nature of the novel results.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the dynamics problem about the memristor-based recurrent network with bounded activation functions and bounded time-varying delays in the presence of strong external stimuli. It is shown that global exponential stability of such networks can be achieved when the external stimuli are sufficiently strong, without the need for other conditions. A sufficient condition on the bounds of stimuli is derived for global exponential stability of memristor-based recurrent networks. And all the results are in the sense of Filippov solutions. Simulation results illustrate the uses of the criteria to ascertain the global exponential stability of specific networks.  相似文献

In this paper, we analyze the robustness of global exponential stability of neural networks with Markovian switching (NNwMS) subject to random disturbances or time-varying delays. Given a globally exponentially stable neural network with Markovian switching, the problems to be addressed herein are how much noises or time delays that the neural networks can remain to be globally exponentially stable. We characterize the upper bounds of the time delays or noise intensity for the NNwMS to sustain global exponential stability. Two numerical examples are provided to illustrate the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, the global exponential stability in Lagrange sense for continuous neutral type recurrent neural networks (NRNNs) with multiple time delays is studied. Three different types of activation functions are considered, including general bounded and two types of sigmoid activation functions. By constructing appropriate Lyapunov functions, some easily verifiable criteria for the ultimate boundedness and global exponential attractivity of NRNNs are obtained. These results can be applied to monostable and multistable neural networks as well as chaos control and chaos synchronization.  相似文献

This paper studies stationary oscillation for a time-varying recurrent cellular neural network with time delays and impulses. In a recent paper, the authors claim that they obtain a criterion of existence, uniqueness, and global exponential stability of periodic solution (i.e. stationary oscillation) for a recurrent cellular neural network with time delays and impulses. We point out that the main result of their paper is incorrect, and present a sufficient condition of stationary oscillation for a time-varying recurrent cellular neural networks with time delays and impulses. An numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained result.  相似文献

In this paper, a discrete-time recurrent neural network with global exponential stability is proposed for solving linear constrained quadratic programming problems. Compared with the existing neural networks for quadratic programming, the proposed neural network in this paper has lower model complexity with only one-layer structure. Moreover, the global exponential stability of the neural network can be guaranteed under some mild conditions. Simulation results with some applications show the performance and characteristic of the proposed neural network.  相似文献

In this article, the global exponential robust stability is investigated for Cohen–Grossberg neural network with both time-varying and distributed delays. The parameter uncertainties are assumed to be time-invariant and bounded, and belong to given compact sets. Applying the idea of vector Lyapunov function, M-matrix theory and analysis techniques, several sufficient conditions are obtained to ensure the existence, uniqueness, and global exponential robust stability of the equilibrium point for the neural network. The methodology developed in this article is shown to be simple and effective for the exponential robust stability analysis of neural networks with time-varying delays and distributed delays. The results obtained in this article extend and improve a few recently known results and remove some restrictions on the neural networks. Three examples are given to show the usefulness of the obtained results that are less restrictive than recently known criteria.   相似文献

This paper considers the global exponential synchronization problem of two memristive chaotic recurrent neural networks with time‐varying delays using periodically alternate output feedback control. First, the periodically alternate output feedback control rule is designed for the global exponential synchronization of two memristive chaotic recurrent neural networks. Then, according to the Lyapunov stability theory, we construct an appropriate Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional to derive several new sufficient conditions guaranteeing exponential synchronization of two memristive chaotic recurrent neural networks under periodically alternate output feedback control. Compared with existing results on synchronization conditions on the basis of linear matrix inequalities of memristive chaotic recurrent neural networks, the derived results complement, extend earlier related results, and are also easy to validate in this paper. An illustrative example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the synchronization criteria.  相似文献

This paper investigates the problem of the existence and global exponential stability of the periodic solution of memristor-based delayed network. Based on the knowledge of memristor and recurrent neural network, the model of the memristor-based recurrent networks is established. Several sufficient conditions are obtained, which ensure the existence of periodic solutions and global exponential stability of the memristor-based delayed recurrent networks. These results ensure global exponential stability of memristor-based network in the sense of Filippov solutions. And, it is convenient to estimate the exponential convergence rates of this network by the results. An illustrative example is given to show the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper considers the problem of global stability of neural networks with delays. By combining Lie algebra and the Lyapunov function with the integral inequality technique, we analyze the globally asymptotic stability of a class of recurrent neural networks with delays and give an estimate of the exponential stability. A few new sufficient conditions and criteria are proposed to ensure globally asymptotic stability of the equilibrium point of the neural networks. A few simulation examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the results and to improve feasibility.  相似文献

This paper studies the uniqueness and global exponential stability of the equilibrium point for memristor-based recurrent neural networks with time-varying delays. By employing Lyapunov functional and theory of differential equations with discontinuous right-hand side, we establish several sufficient conditions for exponential stability of the equilibrium point. In comparison with the existing results, the proposed stability conditions are milder and more general, and can be applied to the memristor-based neural networks model whose connection weight changes continuously. Numerical examples are also presented to show the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

The existence of equilibrium solutions to reaction-diffusion recurrent neural networks with distributed delays and Neumann boundary conditions on time scales is proved by the topological degree theory and M-matrix method. Under some sufficient conditions, we obtain the uniqueness and global exponential stability of equilibrium solution to reaction-diffusion recurrent neural networks with distributed delays and Neumann boundary conditions on time scales by constructing suitable Lyapunov functional and inequality skills. Two examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of the global exponential stability analysis is investigated for a class of recurrent neural networks (RNNs) with time-varying discrete and distributed delays. Due to a novel technique when estimating the upper bound of the derivative of Lyapunov functional, we establish new exponential stability criteria in terms of LMIs. It is shown that the obtained criteria can provide less conservative results than some existing ones. Numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed results.  相似文献

This paper presents two algebraic criteria for the input-to-state stability of recurrent neural networks with time-varying delays. The criteria which also ensure global exponential stability when the input u(t) is equal to 0 and is easy to be verified only with the connection weights of the recurrent neural networks. Two numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed criteria.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with analysis problem for the global exponential stability of the Cohen–Grossberg neural networks with discrete delays and with distributed delays. We first prove the existence and uniqueness of the equilibrium point under mild conditions, assuming neither differentiability nor strict monotonicity for the activation function. Then, we employ Lyapunov functions to establish some sufficient conditions ensuring global exponential stability of equilibria for the Cohen–Grossberg neural networks with discrete delays and with distributed delays. Our results are not only presented in terms of system parameters and can be easily verified and also less restrictive than previously known criteria. A comparison between our results and the previous results admits that our results establish a new set of stability criteria for delayed neural networks.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a general class of neural networks, which have arbitrary constant delays in the neuron interconnections, and neuron activations belonging to the set of discontinuous monotone increasing and (possibly) unbounded functions. Based on the topological degree theory and Lyapunov functional method, we provide some new sufficient conditions for the global exponential stability and global convergence in finite time of these delayed neural networks. Under these conditions the uniqueness of initial value problem (IVP) is proved. The exponential convergence rate can be quantitatively estimated on the basis of the parameters defining the neural network. These conditions are easily testable and independent of the delay. In the end some remarks and examples are discussed to compare the present results with the existing ones.  相似文献
