This study aimed to investigate the partition behaviors of various polar anthocyanins in NaH2PO4/(NH4)2SO4-ethanol aqueous two-phase systems (ATPS) and to extract anthocyanins from Nitraria tangutorun Bobr. and Lycium ruthenicum Murr. Anthocyanins in Hibiscus sabdariffa L., Morus atropurpurea Roxb., N. tangutorun, and L. ruthenicum were profiled using HPLC-ESI-MS/MS and HPLC-DAD, and the partition behaviors of total anthocyanins and main anthocyanins were studied. The partition coefficient of anthocyanins increased with increased hydrophobicity, and low-polarity anthocyanins exhibited a higher preference for the top phase in NaH2PO4/(NH4)2SO4-ethanol ATPS. Additionally, the NaH2PO4-ethanol ATPS gave higher selectivity and total anthocyanin yield than the (NH4)2SO4-ethanol system. Extraction at 65 °C for 45 min and at 45.5 °C for 45 min using 28% NaH2PO4 and 26% ethanol (w/w) led to the recovery of 98.91 ± 0.03% of N. tangutorun anthocyanins (3.62 ± 0.05 mg/g) and 99.84 ± 0.01% of L. ruthenicum anthocyanins (13.16 ± 0.29 mg/g) from raw material; more than 70% of total sugars were removed in a single step. NaH2PO4-ethanol aqueous two-phase extraction is a promising method for extracting anthocyanins from N. tangutorun and L. ruthenicum.  相似文献

This study aimed to understand the micromechanism of thermosonic pretreatment and microwave vacuum drying on Agaricus bisporus. The water state and glass transition temperature (T g ) of fresh and thermosonically treated Agaricus bisporus slices during microwave vacuum drying were studied using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), low-field nuclear magnetic resonance (LF-NMR), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Results showed that four population groups were contained in the initial distribution of transverse relaxation time (T 2) data of fresh A. bisporus slices: T 21 (0.38–7.05 ms), T 22 (9.33–32.75 ms), T 231 (37.65–265.61 ms), and T 232 (305.39–811.13 ms). Thermosonic pretreatment significantly decreased the initial free water content of A. bisporus sample but was accompanied by a sharp increase in its immobilized water. “Semi-bound water transfer” appeared during microwave vacuum drying (MVD) at moisture contents (X w ) of 0.70 and 0.60 g/g (wet basis (w.b.)) for untreated and thermosonically treated samples, respectively. MVD caused dramatic changes in the water state and enhanced the T g by decreasing the content and mobility of immobilized water in A. bisporus tissues. The mobility of semi-bound water for thermosonically and MVD-treated samples was higher than for MVD-untreated samples, resulting in T g values decreasing by approximately 2–11.5 °C, but the uniformity of water distribution in thermosonic-treated and MVD-treated samples was better at X w  ≤ 0.52 g/g (w.b.).  相似文献

The effectiveness of Allium and Brassica extracts to inhibit the evolution of lipids oxidation in avocado pulp under refrigeration (storage at 4 °C) was studied. Onion, garlic, scallion, white cabbage, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts extract were tested as preserving agents in refrigerated avocado pulp. Allium extracts promoted almost a 60% retention of the intrinsic anti-radical capacity of the pulps. Considering secondary oxidation effects, extinction coefficient at 270 nm shows that all treated pulps (except those with scallion addition) were acceptable at the 30th storage day (K 270 < 0.22), but they were all significantly less oxidized than the untreated samples (K 270 = 1.8) (P < 0.05). Garlic-treated avocado showed the highest antioxidant effectiveness, based on C=CH cis proportion (I cis = 108.3), while samples with white cabbage extract presented the highest C=CH trans (I trans = 5.7) proportion after 30 days. The PCA method was discriminant enough since 83.6% of the variance was explained by the first two principal components, allowing the samples to be grouped according to storage time and extract type. This study confirmed that the addition of garlic, onion, and cauliflower extracts enhanced lipid antioxidant properties in refrigerated avocado pulps.  相似文献

Validation of simple and rapid method for three Alternaria mycotoxins determination including alternariol (AOH), alternariol methyl ether (AME) and tentoxin (TEN) in strawberries is described. The extraction procedure was based on a simple liquid–liquid extraction with ethyl acetate, which provided the highest recoveries and the lowest matrix effect. Analytes were determinated by liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (LC–MS/MS). The obtained relative recoveries were higher than 63 % for the studied mycotoxins in strawberries at the limit of quantification (LQ). Good linearity (r 2?>?0.993) and quantification limits (3–14 ng/g) were obtained. Repeatability, expressed as relative standard deviation, was always lower than 6 %, whereas interday precision was lower than 13 % for the developed method. The method was applied to analyse 24 strawberry samples commercialized in markets of the Valencia city (Spain). Analysed samples were only contaminated with AOH and AME.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to investigate the steaming time effects on proton transverse relaxation behavior with low field 1H nuclear magnetic resonance and structural properties of Chinese Northern-style steamed bread (CNSB). Three proton populations could be distinguished at the first 4 min: T2b (0.1–1 ms) corresponded to rigid and exchangeable protons; T22 (9–21 ms) was associated with the water protons in small and large meshes of the dough microstructure; T23 (69–300 ms) was assigned to the water protons on the surface of samples. The starch gelatinization began and the water turned into the integral part of the biopolymer at 6 min, forming T21 (1–3 ms) fraction. The gelatinization effect was strengthened up to 8 min and supplied a more mobile microenvironment, resulting in the increase of T21, A21 and M21. However, the gelatinization process ended at 8 min, bringing about the stabilization of T21, A21 and M21 until 25 min. T22 fraction accounted for the largest proportion during all the steaming process. All variation trends on structural properties of CNSB and T2 relaxation parameters including Ti, Ai (relative intensity of Ti), and Mi (population abundance of Ti) indicated that 6 and 8 min were the two transitions. The gluten matrix began to be disrupted at 6 min and was quite damaged up to 8 min by scanning electron microscopy. The peaks at 15°, 18°, 20°, and 23° in X-ray diffraction patterns appeared in the first 6 min but were lost up to 8, 10, and 25 min.  相似文献

Microwave drying is usually combined with vacuum environment in conjunction with hot air flow to draw the moisture rapidly. The moisture content of the vegetables undergoing drying is hard to measure online. This research designed a microwave vacuum drying (MVD)-low-field nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) smart device and investigated the feasibility of NMR method for online measurement of state of moisture during MVD. The relation between the signal amplitude (A 2) and the true moisture content (M 1) of six kinds of vegetables (mushroom, carrot, potato, lotus, edamame, vegetable corn) was fitted to estimate if NMR can measure the M 1 of vegetables directly. Results showed that A 2 and M 1 of different fresh vegetables had no single empirical mathematical model to fit. However, for each kind of these vegetables, the A 2 and corresponding M 1 in different MVD stages showed a significant linear relationship. The predicted moisture content (M 2) of mushroom: M 2 = 5.25351 × 10?4 A 2 ? 0.34042, R = 0.996; carrot: M 2 = 5.78756 × 10?4 A 2 ? 0.14108, R = 0.998; potato: M 2 = 3.10019 × 10?4 A 2 ? 0.10612, R = 0.991; lotus: M 2 = 2.32415 × 10?4 A 2 ? 0.01573, R = 0.998; edamame: M 2 = 3.13310 × 10?4 A 2 ? 0.4198, R = 0.996; vegetable corn: M 2 = 1.69461 × 10?4 A 2 ? 0.09063, R = 0.995. The linear models between M 2 and A 2 were able to estimate the end point (M 1 < 8%) of MVD with a high accuracy (P > 0.950).  相似文献

The aroma generating volatile components profile and in vitro antioxidant capacities of different aromatic rice cultivars was determined by GC–MS analysis and in terms of DPPH scavenging activity, lipid peroxidation inhibition, phosphomolybdenum reduction and reducing power assay. The total phenolic content including both free and bound forms in the analyzed aromatic rice cultivars, Mushki budgi (1.62 mg GAE/g), Mushki kandi (1.63 mg GAE/g) and Kamad (1.60 mg GAE/g) were found double the amount as compared to non-aromatic Koshkari (0.86 mg GAE/g) cultivar. The aromatic rice cultivars had also shown higher total flavonoid content and antioxidant activity than non-aromatic rice cultivar (Koshkari). The GC–MS results indicated 21-aromatic compounds present in sufficient quantities in aromatic cultivars and some of them were unique to these cultivars. Among the compounds identified, aldehydes were found in higher quantity followed by alkanes, ketones and esters. Among the aromatic rice cultivars, Mushki budgi and Mushki kandi were found possessing higher quantity of flavoring components such as benzaldehyde, a carcinostatic agent. The cultivars Mushki budgi and Mushki kandi indicated positive correlation of TPC, TFC and the in vitro antioxidant components largely, while the less aromatic Kamad, correlate with only two components viz DPPH and lipid peroxidation.  相似文献

The effectiveness of pulsed light (PL) treatments to inhibit microorganisms on fresh-cut tomatoes (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill., cv. Daniela) was investigated. Tomato slices inoculated with Escherichia coli or Listeria innocua were exposed to PL treatments (4, 6, or 8 J cm?2 fluence) and kept cold at 4 °C for 20 days. L. innocua and E. coli counts, gases in the headspace of the containers (O2 and CO2), pH, titratable acidity, and soluble solid content were monitored throughout the cold storage. The PL treatments reduced significantly (p < 0.05) initial loads of both microbes. The effect of the PL fluence on the survival number of microoganisms was described by a log-linear model (R 2 = 0.849–0.999). At any fixed time within the cold storing, the microbial counts for untreated samples were always higher than those cut tomatoes that had been previously PL-treated. The behavior of L. innocua and E. coli during the storage were well adjusted (R 2 > 0.930) by Gompertzian models; the studied microorganisms exhibited different patterns during the storage period. On the other hand, O2 and CO2 partial pressures in containers with fresh-cut tomatoes were also significantly affected by PL treatments (p < 0.05). The highest PL fluence caused the greatest changes of O2 and CO2 contents. In addition, the application of PL triggered an acceleration of the O2 consumption during the cold stage. PL treatments might be used to effectively extend the safety of fresh-cut tomatoes over 12 days of storage against E. coli and L. innocua growth.  相似文献

Structural and rheological characterization of reconstituted hydrogels developed from A. vera non-fibrous alcohol insoluble residue (NFAIR) powder using different methods [viz., shaking (S), heating-shaking (HS), and heating (H)] and concentrations (viz., 0.2–1.6 %, w/v) was carried out. Functional group distribution by FTIR spectroscopy and Congo red (CR) method revealed the presence of acetylated acemannan in A. vera powder. Dynamic oscillation studies of A. vera (NFAIR) fluids at all concentrations of 0.2–1.6 %, w/v, showed gel strength in the order of H > HS > S method. However, in H method, increase in concentration from 0.2 to 1.6 %, w/v showed the conformational transition from semi-diluted solution to weak gel nature. Rheological models described the effect of heating temperatures (HT); 30–90 °C, and times (Ht); 15–60 min on viscoelastic behavior in reconstituted A. vera fluids. The reconstituted A. vera hydrogel prepared with a concentration of 1.6 %, w/v using 50 °C (HT) and 30 min (Ht) condition showed a good agreement with the Power law (storage modulus, G′) and Weak gel model (complex modulus, G*) fitted data (R2 > 0.94) resulting higher viscoelastic moduli intercepts; G0 (71.5 Pa s n), G0 (33.5 Pa s n), lower slopes; n′ (0.22), n″ (0.06), higher network strength (A F , 121.3 Pa s1/z ) and number of network (z, 5.3) values. The obtained results suggested that heating at 50 °C/30 min can develop aqueous weak gel networks of A. vera with enhanced gel strength which may be utilized as a novel gelling agent for wide variety of targeted applications in food and pharmaceutical sectors.  相似文献

The aromatic compounds and biological activities of essential oils from six Tunisian aromatic plants including Artemisia herba-alba, Rosmarinus officinalis, Thymus capitatus, Mentha piperita, Ocimum basilicum and Artemisia absinthium were investigated. Hydro-distillation was used to extract essential oil from these plants. The identification of compounds from essential oils was performed using GC–MS analysis. Camphor (28.47%) was the major compound of A. absinthium essential oil. High contents of verbenone (20.99%) and camphor (19.72%) were found in R. officinalis. In the case of T. capitatus, carvacrol (81.09%), gamma terpinene (6.61%) and caryophyllene (4.87%) were identified as the major compounds. While eugenol (24.69%), linalool (18.00%) were characteristic compounds of O. basilicum essential oil, camphor (39.10%) and farnesol (14.25%) together with bornyl acetate (12.31%) were the main constituents of A. absinthium. These oils were also subjected to a screening for their antioxidant activity and essential oil from A. absinthium showed a greater antioxidant activity (IC50?=?0.0063 mg/mL) compared to the standard Vitamin E (IC50?=?0.019 mg/mL). The antibacterial activities of the oils against seven pathogenic strains, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bacillus cereus, Salmonella, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis and Micrococcus luteus, were tested. The highest and broadest activity was shown by M. piperita; however, Ocimum basilicum was inactive against all strains. Essential oils were also evaluated for antidiabetic and anti-acetylcholinesterase activities. The IC50 values of A. herba-alba and O. basilicum against α-amylase were respectively 17.76 and 16.32 µg/mL suggesting a powerful anti-diabetic effect comparable to that of acarbose (IC50?=?14.88 µg/mL). R. officinalis, M. piperita and A. absinthium exhibited an interesting acetylcholinesterase inhibition with IC50 equal to 22, 24 and 58 µg/mL respectively.  相似文献

In many countries, common buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum Möench) has been cultivated for its nutritive value as food ingredient. This plant is a rich source of vitamins and exogenic amino acids. Many of the health-promoting effects of F. esculentum have been attributed to a large amount of phenolic compounds. Presented in this paper, precooked buckwheat pasta, produced by extrusion cooking, is a gluten-free product without any technological additives. Moreover, it contains natural polyphenolic antioxidants and therefore could be classified as convenience food. The phenolic acid compositions of precooked buckwheat pasta were as follows: gallic, protocatechuic, gentisic, 4-OH-benzoic, vanillic, trans-caffeic, cis-caffeic, trans-p-coumaric, cis-p-coumaric, trans-ferulic, cis-ferulic, and salicylic. A very important step of sample pretreatment before quantitative analysis is the choice of extraction conditions. Therefore, in this study, before quantitative analysis (liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry, LC-ESI-MS/MS), optimization of ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) of phenolic acids from precooked buckwheat pasta was performed. The most effective conditions for the isolation of phenolic acids from precooked buckwheat pasta with the use of UAE were as follows: 80 % aqueous ethanol, 60 °C, ultrasound frequency 20 kHz, power 100 W, and time 40 min.  相似文献

In the present study, a systematic approach for extraction, purification and analysis of acylated-anthocyanins from Nitraria tangutorun Bobr. fruit was explored. Six acylated-anthocyanins in N. tangutorun fruit were identified by HPLC-MS/MS, and a rapid and efficient HPLC-DAD method was developed to analyze the acylated-anthocyanins. Ultrasonic-assisted extraction conditions of acylated-anthocyanins were optimized using response surface methodology, extraction at 70 °C for 32 min using 70% methanol solution (0.1% HCl, v/v) rendered an extract with 80.37?±?2.66 mg/100 g of cyanidin-3-O-(trans-p-coumaroyl)-diglucoside and 97.88?±?4.06 mg/100 g of total acylated-anthocyanins. Nine macroporous resins were investigated for preliminary purification of acylated-anthocyanins. According to the static/dynamic adsorption and desorption tests, XDA-6 macroporous resin exhibited the maximum potential for preparing acylated-anthocyanins. The purity of cyanidin-3-O-(trans-p-coumaroyl)-diglucoside (43.30 mg/g) in purified acylated-anthocyanins was 201.89 times of that of the extract (0.21 mg/g), and the purity of total acylated-anthocyanins increased from 0.36 to 56.44 mg/g. Besides, the stability (t 1/2) of cyanidin-3-O-(trans-p-coumaroyl)-diglucoside and total acylated-anthocyanins increased by more than five-fold after purification using XDA-6. The established methods of analysis, extraction and purification of acylated-anthocyanins were hopefully utilized in food industry.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to investigate the extrusion cooking behaviours of two wheat flour samples (W1DK, W2CH) in two different twin-screw extrusion systems, where the wheat flour samples were characterised by rapid visco analyser (RVA) measurements. A new method is proposed to model and compare the wheat flour extrusion behaviours in the two systems through the RVA measurements, an extrudate bulk density model and a melt viscosity calculation. A new method is suggested to calculate the melt viscosity in the extrusion process. The average viscosity value of the W1DK sample was 64% higher than that of the W2CH sample in the RVA measurements. The comparison results show that the high viscosity for W1DK obtained from the RVA corresponds to a high reduced melt viscosity (η r , (1/s)γ) for W1DK, i.e., η r ?=?0.25–2.61 (1/s)γ (η r ?=?0.042–0.082 (1/s)γ for W2CH), a high specific mechanical energy (SME) for W1DK, i.e., SME?=?8.16–11.28 kJ/kg (SME?=?5.57–9.99 kJ/kg for W2CH) and a low extrudate bulk density (ρ B ) for W1DK, i.e., ρ B ?=?185–488 g/L (1 g/L?=?1 kg/m3) (ρ B ?=?406–510 g/L for W2CH) in the two extrusion systems. The RVA viscosity and the calculated melt viscosity can be used to identify a recipe characteristic in terms of torque and extrudate bulk density in the two extrusion systems. A comparison has also been made for the bulk density model and response surface methodology in the extrudate bulk density prediction.  相似文献

The aim of the present work was to investigate whether honeys of various botanical characteristics could be discriminated and identified on the basis of the isotopic data. For this purpose, 45 commercial honey samples of various botanical types were analyzed using isotope ratio mass spectrometry (IRMS) coupled to element analyzer (EA) and liquid chromatography (LC). δ 13C values of honey; corresponding extracted protein and individual sugars (sucrose, glucose, and fructose) of honey; reducing sugar; and sucrose contents were determined and utilized to demonstrate the authenticity of commercial honeys of different botanical types. Results indicated that a very strong correlation (δ 13Cprotein = 0.862δ 13Choney + 0.800, R 2 = 0.944) was observed between δ 13C honey values and δ 13C protein values of real honey samples. δ 13Choney and δ 13Cprotein should range from ?27.2 to ?23.5 and ?26.9 to ?23.6‰ for pure honeys of various botanical types investigated in this study. The use of isotopic compositions and some systematic differences as authenticity criterion permits the honey samples of various botanical types to be reliably detected.  相似文献

In this study, chlorophyll fluorescence imaging (CFI) was used to monitor plant stress induced by cutting of mini romaine lettuce (Lactuca sativa L. var. longifolia) and by cutting and washing of endive (Cichorium endivia L.) during storage. Regarding the more detailed study of endive fresh-cut salads, we additionally monitored respiratory activity, phenylalanine ammonia lyase (PAL) activity, contents of plant pigments, and cut edge browning. Determination of maximum quantum efficiency F v/F m was feasible through sealed consumer-sized film bags, thus, enabling the non-invasive monitoring of both fresh-cut salad types in the corresponding modified atmosphere during storage. Cutting of romaine lettuce provoked a partially reversible drop of F v/F m during the first 24 h. Subsequently, F v/F m of cut romaine strongly decreased with elapsing shelf life, whereas intact leaves exhibited only a slight decline. Regarding minimally processed endive, warm water washing progressively reduced F v/F m with increasing heat exposure, while respiratory activities and the content of accessory pigments remained unaffected. The heat-dependent decrease of F v/F m was correlated to the inhibition of the PAL activity. Mildly warm washing (40 °C, 120 s; 45 °C, 60 s) reduced PAL activities, while Fv/Fm remained widely unaffected and visual quality was only partially improved. However, warm water washing at elevated temperatures (45 °C, 120 s; 50 °C, 30–60 s) enabled maximum visual quality retention, accompanied by a significant decrease of F v/F m. CFI may represent a useful tool to monitor the stress conditions due to cutting and warm water treatments, hence, allowing the systematic improvement of fresh-cut produce.  相似文献

A rapid and easy method was developed for the sensitive determination of six acidic pesticides (2,4,5-trichlorophenoxyacetic acid, acifluorfen, methyl-4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid, fluroxypyr, haloxyfop, and bispyribac-sodium) in pear, apple, cucumber, and rice samples. This method was a full automatic platform using a novel polymeric monolith-based on-line solid-phase extraction (SPE) coupled to liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). A poly(2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate-co-ethylene dimethacrylate) monolith was fabricated as the sorbent, and the morphology, surface area, and extraction performance of the polymers were characterized. With the addition of 10.0 mL of acetonitrile and 1.0 to 5.0 g of anhydrous NaCl, the food samples were homogenized and centrifuged. The extracted samples were directly loaded and cleaned on the polymers using a 5 mmol L?1 ammonium acetate solution and subsequently eluted into the analytical column for next separation with an acetonitrile-1.5% formic acid solution as eluting solvent. The detection limit (S/N?=?3) was 0.2 to 2.0 μg kg?1 for the analytes, and the intra- and inter-day recoveries in pear, apple, cucumber, and rice samples ranged from 80 to 104%, and 83 to 115% with relative standard deviations of less than 13.5%. The developed on-line SPE LC-MS/MS protocol permits an automated and high-throughput determination in only 15 min. Moreover, the intra-batch (n?=?5) and inter-batch precisions (n?=?3) for the preparation of the polymers were lower than 11.6% and the sorbent was sufficiently stable for 500 extraction cycles without a significant loss in the extraction efficiency. The developed method was successfully applied to monitor six acidic pesticides in vegetable, fruit, and cereal samples.  相似文献

Starch availability has been implicated in unripe matured banana (Musa species), which when processed yields flour suitable for application in low gluten and composite wheat formulations. Unripe Musa species: Williams, Luvhele, Mabonde and Muomva-red obtained from fruit bunch were pretreated with ascorbic, citric and lactic acids, processed into 50 g of flour and characterised for their functional and thermal properties. Scanning electron microscope of unripe banana flour (UBF) showed varying micrographs of flour, with polygonal for Luvhele, oval for Mabonde, elongated for Muomva-red and between polygonal and spherical for Williams. The bulk density of UBF samples was within the range of 0.66–0.84 g/mL for all organic acid pretreatment while citric acid pretreated UBF had the least browning index. Significant difference (p < 0.05) was recorded in swelling power with no significant difference in water solubility index except for Mabonde UBF. Thermal properties showed single endothermic transition for all UBF samples at various pretreatment concentration. The onset temperature (To) of UBF ranges from 49.82 to 65.59 °C, peak temperature (Tp) from 60.11 to 76.71 °C, conclusion temperature (Tc) from 70.36 to 94.16 °C and enthalpy of gelatinization (ΔH) from 2.61 to 32.24 J/g. Short amylopectin chains present in starch of UBF was attributed to low To, Tp, Tc and ΔH values recorded for Mabonde cultivar, while the contribution of heat-moisture treatment rather than organic acid pretreatment of UBF samples was attributed to different gelatinization and transition temperatures recorded for all cultivars examined.  相似文献

In this paper, the optimization of CNC machining parameters was conducted using the Taguchi design method on the surface quality of massive wooden edge glued panels made of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.). Five machining parameters and their effects on surface roughness were evaluated. These parameters included cutters type, tool clearance strategy, spindle speed, feed rate and depth of cut. An analysis of variance (ANOVA) was performed to identify significant factors affecting the surface roughness (R a and R z ). Optimum machining parameter combinations were acquired by conducting an analysis of the signal-to-noise (S/N) ratio. Optimal cutting performance for R a and R z was obtained for Cutter 1, at a tool clearance strategy of a raster 16,000 rpm spindle speed, 1000 mm/min feed rate and 4 mm depth. Based on the results of the confirmation tests, R a decreased 2.8 times and R z decreased 2.0 times.  相似文献

In the present study, response surface method (RSM) and genetic algorithm (GA) were used to study the effects of process variables like screw speed, rpm (x 1), L/D ratio (x 2), barrel temperature (°C; x 3), and feed mix moisture content (%; x 4), on flow rate of biomass during single-screw extrusion cooking. A second-order regression equation was developed for flow rate in terms of the process variables. The significance of the process variables based on Pareto chart indicated that screw speed and feed mix moisture content had the most influence followed by L/D ratio and barrel temperature on the flow rate. RSM analysis indicated that a screw speed?>?80 rpm, L/D ratio?>?12, barrel temperature?>?80 °C, and feed mix moisture content?>?20% resulted in maximum flow rate. Increase in screw speed and L/D ratio increased the drag flow and also the path of traverse of the feed mix inside the extruder resulting in more shear. The presence of lipids of about 35% in the biomass feed mix might have induced a lubrication effect and has significantly influenced the flow rate. The second-order regression equations were further used as the objective function for optimization using genetic algorithm. A population of 100 and iterations of 100 have successfully led to convergence the optimum. The maximum and minimum flow rates obtained using GA were 13.19?×?10?7 m3/s (x 1?=?139.08 rpm, x 2?=?15.90, x 3?=?99.56 °C, and x 4?=?59.72%) and 0.53?×?10?7 m3/s (x 1?=?59.65 rpm, x 2?=?11.93, x 3?=?68.98 °C, and x 4?=?20.04%).  相似文献

A modified diffusion-based mathematical model is proposed to describe the moisture movement during continuous and intermittent drying of Eucalyptus saligna. This model includes the temperature change, the surface drying coefficient (β n ) and 2 diffusion coefficients [from green to FSP (D f ) and from FSP to dry condition (D o )] as important parameters. The final model expression obtained was M?=?exp (??25 β n 2 D t /l2) with the β n used was 1.5807 kg m?2 s?1, the D f was 2.26?×?10?11 m2 s?1, and the D o was 5.85?×?10?12 m2 s?1. The range of temperature change between heating and non-heating phases in the intermittent drying regimes was from 24.9 to 31.8 °C. The R2 values obtained when the model was fitted into the drying data of different intermittent regimes ranged from 71.5 to 85.9%. The R2 value was 87.4% when the model was fitted into continuous trial data. The high values of R2 indicate that the model can be used to understand the moisture reduction both in intermittent and continuous regimes.  相似文献
