In this paper, we present a new scheme of digital rights management (DRM) system employing the fragile watermarking with permutation code for the image distribution via network. General DRM systems are designed to protect the copyright of contents and to trace the source of the illegal distributors based on the user-side watermarking. However, in the typical DRM systems, the original digital contents are temporarily disclosed without the watermarking information inside user’s system by the decryption process. Therefore, the user can copy the leaked original content inside the system and illegally redistribute via network without the permission of the content providers. Our work describes the idea of a DRM method which is composed of the incomplete cryptography based on permutation codes and user identification mechanism to control the quality of digital contents. There are two fundamental steps in our proposed cryptography: incomplete encoding and incomplete decoding. These two steps will create the scrambled content that is used as trial content and the watermarked content that is used to prevent unauthorized duplication or business of digital contents, respectively. Experimental results show that the proposed method is suitable for DRM in the network distribution system.  相似文献

Although digital rights management (DRM) has gained increasing importance in today's digital services and electronic commerce, it is not addressed explicitly in the Internet Open Trading Protocol (IOTP) specification. In this paper, we propose a digital rights management system (RMS) that is integrated into IOTP for electronic commerce applications and services. We introduce a rights insertion phase and a rights verification phase for IOTP. In the proposed framework, digital watermarking plays a very important role in facilitating digital rights management. The proposed digital rights management system was implemented on an online music web site and the proposed concepts and approaches proved to be successful.  相似文献

Digital rights management (DRM) system is a promising technique to allow copyrighted content to be commercialized in digital format without the risk of revenue loss due to piracy. However, traditional DRMs are achieved with individual function modules of cryptography and watermarking. Therefore, all digital contents are temporarily disclosed in perfect condition via decryption process in the user-side risking illegal redistribution. This paper describes the basic idea of a novel DRM method composed of an incomplete cryptography using invariant Huffman code length feature and the user identification mechanism to control the quality of digital contents. The proposed incomplete cryptography consists of two processes: the incomplete encoding and the incomplete decoding. These processes are presented by randomly selecting the coefficients that belong to the same category or different category of Huffman code. In our scheme, the copyright information is embedded into the decoded content during the decoding process, and the size of digital contents are invariant during the process. Experimental results with simulation confirmed that the modified codes are compatible with standard JPEG format, and revealed the proposed method to be suitable for DRM in the network distribution system.  相似文献

Many watermarking techniques have been proposed for digital video and digital broadcast video. In general, they address the seller's or broadcaster's concerns, such as copyright-violation deterrence, copyright-violation detection and copy protection. Some of them provide for data integrity (tamper proofing), which is a shared concern of both subscriber and broadcaster. In all these cases, the watermark generation and embedding is performed or controlled by the seller or broadcaster. Therefore, a broadcaster with malicious intentions could, with manipulation, falsely implicate an innocent subscriber in copyright violation. This could be a major concern for subscribers. In this paper, we propose an integrated solution to manage the broadcaster's copyright and subscriber's false-implication concern (subscriber's rights) for digital video broadcasts. The proposed novel approach makes use of interactive watermarking techniques and protocols to help protect digital rights of all parties involved in video broadcasting.  相似文献

The technologies they sell include watermarking, hardware key "dongles", encryption and monitoring. The major place people worry about digital rights management's (DRM) impact is with existing Web sites that provide free information. The DRM(digital rights management) techniques have been rapidly developed to protect the digital media contents. The growth of smart device and cloud computing makes the environment in which various services can be provided anywhere and anytime, so the DRM technologies have to react to such changes. From this aspect, we previously proposed the architecture of DRM-as-a-Service that provides various functionalities of DRM as some services on the cloud environment, and we referred to it as the DRM Cloud. In this paper, we define a reference model of DRM Cloud to represent some DRM functions that are provided by the DRM Cloud, and several service scenarios are proposed on the DRM Cloud. Also we simulate the DRM Cloud on the testbed and then discuss some security issues and how to handle the interoperability in the DRM Cloud. We conclude that the DRM Cloud allows the content consumers to use many contents with various smart devices, also let the DRM developers and the content service providers reduce the costs of development and business.  相似文献

数字水印是一种将特殊信息嵌入媒体数据中的技术,通常应用在数字图像、音频、视频以及其它媒体数据的版权保护和完整性验证方面,其中图像数字水印技术是研究的一个重点。提出了一种将中国剩余定理与主成分分析方法相结合的图像数字水印算法,并且在Matlab中实现了该算法。实验结果表明,相对于最低有效位算法,该算法有很好的不可感知性,对常见的攻击方式,如图像压缩、加噪、中值滤波和剪切等具有较强的鲁棒性。  相似文献

P2P技术的成熟同时也给数字内容的版权保护带来更大的挑战.传统C/S模式下的DRM已不能满足P2P环境下的数字版权保护.结合现阶段网络技术中P2P技术的实际应用情况和新一代数字版权管理(DRM)技术,提出了基于P2P系统信任机制的版权管理模型.该模型通过秘密共享思想将许可证密钥分发给P2P网络中的可信任节点,为基于P2P技术的数字内容分发提供了必要的安全保障.通过分析与仿真实验表明,该模型较现有数字版权管理模型在传输的容错性、入侵容忍性与安全性方面都有较大的提高.  相似文献

非法的盗版行为侵害了创作者的合法权益,使得多媒体信息的版权保护问题变得十分重要。通过分析一般的版权保护管理系统,提出了一种有效保护多媒体信息版权的模型。该模型综合利用鲁棒水印和脆弱水印对多媒体信息进行4次水印嵌入;采用全文件加密的方式对多媒体信息加密;使用基于双缓冲机制及安全存储机制的专门的客户端软件对信息解密。最后通过性能分析可知,在没有降低系统的权威性、公平性、实用性的前提下,该模型提高了整个DRM系统的安全性。  相似文献
