光开关染料分子可以在光照条件下于不同状态间发生可逆异构化,为高时空分辨远程控制材料和生物系统提供了独特的机会。然而,传统的光开关染料分子不可避免地需要紫外光激发,紫外光具有高损伤、高耗能、毒性大、组织穿透力差等弊端,导致其在生物领域应用受限。可见光/近红外光低能耗、低损伤且组织穿透力强,更能满足生物应用需求。因此,开发长波长驱动的光开关染料分子对推进其在超分辨成像、光药理学等新兴交叉学科领域应用具有重要意义。本文详细总结了近年来传统和新兴光开关染料分子在红移激发波长方面取得的最新研究进展,并针对转换效率、异构化量子产率、热力学稳定性以及抗疲劳性等指标对其光开关性能进行评价与讨论。最后对可见光/近红外光开关染料分子在未来发展过程中可能面临的机遇和挑战进行了展望。 相似文献

The influence of annealing on the morphologies and optical properties of phenyleneethynylene pentamer films has been investigated by using optical microscopy, UV-vis spectroscopy, steady-state and time-resolved photoluminescence (PL). The optical microscopy study shows that the grainy morphology of crystallites with irregular shapes and sizes of the spincoated oligomer films reorganize into well-ordered single crystal-like laths or bamboo-like structures upon melt-crystallization or annealing. The crystalline features of the annealed films were simulated and modeled through molecular mechanics (MM) and molecular dynamics (MD) and further measured by X-ray diffraction. These studies revealed that the molecular backbones form lamellar and interdigitated conformations. Investigation of optical properties of the thermally treated films indicated that aggregates and excimers dominate excitation/emission processes due to molecular closely packing upon annealing, which are evidenced by the broadening, structureless absorption and luminescence spectra, as well as longer lifetime of PL dynamics. 相似文献

Emerging guided-wave integrated optical technologies require suitable active devices and optical interconnects. Certain organic molecular materials possess the required optical nonlinearities for application in active devices. Glassy polymers, such as poly(methyl methacrylate), have been used to fabricate high optical quality passive structures. For application in integrated optics, requirements include high optical quality (low scattering and absorption losses), low dielectric constant, and suitable fabrication techniques. We describe the preparation and optical properties of a new material, class, poled polymer glasses, which combines the attractive properties of the optical nonlinearities of organic molecules and the optical quality of polymer glasses. These materials are formed by incorporating organic compounds possessing large optical nonlinearities into a host material lacking long-range order. The orientational order is imparted to the composite system by applying a strong electric field at a temperature above the glass transition temperature, where molecular motion is enhanced, thereby aligning the optically nonlinear dopant molecules. By cooling the material through the phase transition with the field still applied, the orientational order is frozen in, and the composite material possesses second-order nonlinear optical properties. 相似文献

Chemists regularly exploit point group symmetry in their analyses of molecular structure and properties but they rarely utilize time reversal symmetry. The time reversal operator T reverses the momenta and spins of all particles in a system and distinguishes properties which are even under T, such as the electric dipole moment, from those that are odd, such as the magnetic dipole moment. We review the role of T in quantum mechanics and discuss its application to the properties of molecules in electric and magnetic fields. Among the properties considered are natural and magnetic optical activity, magneto-chiral effects, antisymmetric Raman scattering, optical NMR and ESR, chirality, and absolute enantioselection. 相似文献
