为了方便地管理电器,降低待机能耗,提出了一种基于SimpliciTI协议无线传感器网络的电源管理方案.该方案采用射频芯片CC1110作为系统核心,结合外围极少的元件组成射频片上系统,拥有成本低、功耗小、可靠性高的特点.系统分为手持遥控设备和无线传感器网络两部分,手持遥控设备以S3 C2440微处理器为核心,负责与各节点的通信、电器状态的显示及接受远程控制;无线传感器网络各节点负责监测电器工作状态并将数据发送至手持设备,在待机和故障时及时做出动作.在系统安装时,为每个节点分别编码并进行自学习设置.实验表明,系统通信可靠,控制距离远,节省电能,使电器管理更为方便. 相似文献

Warm standby redundancy is an important fault-tolerant design technique for improving the reliability of many systems used in life-critical or mission-critical applications. Traditional warm standby models aim to reduce the operational cost and failure rate of the standby elements by keeping them partially powered and partially exposed to operational stresses. However, depending on the level of readiness of a standby element, significant restoration delays and replacement costs can be incurred when the standby element is needed to replace the failed online element. To achieve a balance between the operation cost of standby elements and the replacement costs, this paper proposes a new warm standby model with scheduled (or time-based) standby mode transfer of standby elements. In particular, each standby element can be transferred from warm standby mode to hot standby mode (a mode in which the standby element is ready to take over at any time) at a fixed/predetermined time instants after the mission starts. To facilitate the optimal design and implementation of the proposed model, this paper first suggests a new algorithm for evaluating the reliability and expected mission cost of 1-out-of-N: G system with standby elements subject to the time-based standby mode transfer. The algorithm is based on a discrete approximation of time-to-failure distributions of the elements and can work with any type of distributions. Based on the suggested algorithm the problem of optimizing transfer times of standby elements to the hot standby mode and optimal sequencing of their transfer to the operation mode is formulated and solved. In this problem the expected mission cost associated with elements’ standby and operation expenses and mode transfer expenses is minimized subject to system reliability constraint. A cerebral vascular accident, known as common language stroke, is one of the main causes of mortality and remains the primary cause of acquired disabilities in adults. Those disabled people spend most of their time at home in their living rooms. In most cases, appliances of a living room (TV, light, cooler/heater, window blinds, etc.) are generally controlled by direct manipulation of a set of remote controls. Handling many remote controls can be disturbing and inappropriate for these people. In addition, in many cases these people could be alone at home and must open the door for visitors after their identification by either moving to the door or using an intercom system which requires in both cases a physical activity. Furthermore, these people need a continuous health monitoring especially blood pressure to avoid a recurrent stroke. Smart spaces and assisted technologies would be beneficial to assist person with disabilities to live independently, enhance their quality of life and empower their autonomy. A complete system which improves and facilitates the daily life and covers all aspects such as appliances automation, appropriate interaction mode and health monitoring of these people is still lacking. The aim of this work is to create a safe and high-quality living environment for persons with disabilities to enable them to live more independently by automating the operation of a living room appliances according to the current context without the need to use remote control devices, the use of a suitable interaction modality with appliances that require direct interaction and a remote health monitoring system which can alert relatives and caregivers in case of an emergency. 相似文献

动态随机存储器(DRAMs)是手持式设备的重要组件.由于需要进行刷新,因此,即使设备处于待机状态,存储器也会消耗大量能量.提出了一种基于纠错码和冗余策略的混合算法(HEAR)以降低待机状态下DRAMs的刷新功率.HEAR电路由BCH码模块和错位修复(EBR)模块构成,以提高纠错能力,尽量降低ECC技术的负面效应,进而有效延长刷新周期,显著降低刷新功耗.分析结果表明,HEAR策略可使待机状态下的2Gb DDAM存储器节约能耗40-70%.奇偶校验数据的面积成本和HEAR策略的ECC电路分别只有单独使用ECC策略的63%和53%. 相似文献
