光互连是突破传统微电子IC性能瓶颈的重要技术手段,对推进"后摩尔时代"微电子技术的发展和高性能计算技术的实现具有关键性意义。本文在归纳总结不同层次光互连结构特点的基础上,对片上光互连(on-chip or intra-chip optical interconnects)所涉及的若干种无源光子集成器件的设计制备及性能特点进行了分析介绍,这些器件包括SOI亚波长光子线波导、SOI光子晶体波导、MMI分束/合束器、微环/微盘谐振腔滤波器、光子晶体微腔耦合滤波器、光子晶体反射镜等,是硅基片上光互连的基本构成单元。本文对这些关键性光子集成器件的国内最新研究进展进行了报道。 相似文献

A simple and flexible route is presented to fabricate a gold binary‐structured ordered array by one step based on non‐shadow deposition on a plasma etching‐induced dualistic monolayer colloidal crystal. Such a Au binary‐structure array is built of hexagonally arranged nanoshells and nanorings which stand between two adjacent nanoshells. Six gold nanorings surround each nanoshell. The obtained arrays exhibit both the controllable surface‐plasmon‐resonance (SPR) properties of Au nanoshells and the strong electromagnetic‐field‐enhancement effects of Au nanorings, with the high structural stability of ordered arrays, and show promising potential as the substrate of surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS)‐based devices. The method could also be suitable for fabrication of other material binary‐structured arrays. This study is important in designing and fabricating basal materials for the next generation of multifunctional nanostructured devices. 相似文献

Abstract We have recently developed a new type of liquid-crystal spatial light-modulator which acts as a phase-only spatial light-modulator for coherent light. The use of this device as a flexible filter in the Fourier plane of an optical correlation system is described, and it is shown how it may also be used as a flexible interconnect capable of simultaneously providing continuous amplitude and binary phase modulation. 相似文献

For free-space optical interconnections between optoelectronic chips to reach commercial realization, the technology must provide high-density optical channels in a simple, inexpensive, and easily aligned package. Although point-to-point connections with microlens pairs can provide densities of several thousand channels per square centimeter, the Gaussian nature of the beams limits the connection range to a few millimeters. We propose an arrangement of microlens pairs with an intermediate relay lens that significantly increases the connection distance. This basic setup can be tiled laterally across large chips to form extensible arrays. The optical design is constructed entirely with diffractive elements because of the low chromatic sensitivity over a range of approximately ?10% around the design wavelength. We derive the lateral positioning error at the image by using a simple ray trace, and we show the effect of Gaussian beams. We experimentally demonstrate the low chromatic sensitivity for a system with an interconnection distance of 64 mm. Finally, we demonstrate the interconnection of two linear arrays of multimode fibers with two adjacent channels operating at data rates of hundreds of megabits per second. 相似文献

A symbolic-substitution-based optical numeric processor that uses recoded and nonrecoded trinary signed-digit (TSD) number representations is proposed. Also, we propose new joint spatial encodings for the TSD numbers that reduce the symbolic-substitution computation rules involved in the processor. Optoelectronic implementation of the proposed recoded adder is feasible. Also, the nonrecoded TSD addition can be performed optically in two steps. Both the proposed recoded and nonrecoded adders are more compact than a recently reported modified signed-digit counterpart and use fewer correlators and spatial light modulators. 相似文献

Organometal halide perovskites are under intense study for use in optoelectronics. Methylammonium and formamidinium lead iodide show impressive performance as photovoltaic materials; a premise that has spurred investigations into light‐emitting devices and photodetectors. Herein, the optical and electrical material properties of organometal halide perovskites are reviewed. An overview is given on how the material composition and morphology are tied to these properties, and how these properties ultimately affect device performance. Material attributes and techniques used to estimate them are analyzed for different perovskite materials, with a particular focus on the bandgap, mobility, diffusion length, carrier lifetime, and trap‐state density. 相似文献

The main effects of atmospheric absorption, scattering and turbulence on the propagation of visible and infra-red radiation are presented with particular emphasis on their wavelength dependence. Meteorological factors such as the concentration of molecular absorbers and the size distribution of scattering centres in precipitation are introduced and, from such data, typical attenuation figures are estimated. The main theoretical and experimental results concerning propagation in the turbulent atmosphere are summarized. The influence of the above effects on optical instruments and communication systems is examined. In the first category are included such instruments as radiometers and image-forming systems. In the latter section we consider the extent to which the performance of unguided communication systems would be degraded by adverse meteorological conditions. 相似文献

A periodic variation of the angular field of view of the receiver during transmittance measurements in dense fogs allowed some scattering characteristics of the medium to be monitored continuously.
